The staff was pleasant and helpful. The store was clean and organized.

Its been a long time since Ive been called maam or heard thank you after ordering food and I must say it was quite refreshing. Kudos to the ladies at Popeyes (in South Holland, Illinois)!!

No buggies available, the cashiers dont bag up your groceries.They also dont explain if you have to bag it yourself. (Never been to Aldis)The tough guy cashier throws your stuff on the floor and doesnt even apologize. Unprofessional employees! 0/5

Quick service- great product selection- everything was available for purchase that I was looking for. Service was friendly and prompt.

Clean place havent been there since to update. And the have curb side pick up so thats nice.

Most of the off brand products are as good if not better than the name brands at a lot better price.

Great service, check out a breeze, carry most products in ads ( you got to get there early because they sell out fast, but some store do give rain checks) love great stores with friendly and helpful employees.

Fruits and vegetables were fresh, meat section was organized and stocked along with the Frozen food section. One of things I like most they have different specialty items to pick from.I am an Aldi fan

The cashier broke some of my items casually throwing them in the cart as they were being checked out. I understand there is some type of purpose for being quick, but as a paying customer, I wish they would respect the items that we buy.

The construction is done but the place looks the same. To tell you the truth prices are the same as W.Mart give or thank a penny or two. Its still crowded and the lines go back into the isles.

They are the only store around that has a ride on cart available . ALL THE WORKERS WERE EAGER TO BE HELPFUL. EVERYONE HAD A GREAT ATTITUDE. I MADE A RETURN WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Very clean store, friendly store staff, shelves are kept well stocked and produce is the freshest. I also tried their egg thins wraps for the first time, I used it as a wrap for a nacho filling. I used two thins together like a street taco and it held up perfectly and was delicious!

We shop here once a qweek. Great prices on milk, eggs, meats and ready-to-cook pizza! Their produce is always great and and their variety isle is always full of neat surprises!!

Great prices, great people and service. St John Aldi is exceptional. Store Manager Mike is all class and is reflected in his employees. Meier layout designed by an idiot, straks is too expensive and your ice cream will melt waiting in line at jewel. Aldi is a delightful option and bring a quarter for the cart and sacks to bag yur purchase

Havent been to an Aldi in a while, but I like the little changes. Still good prices for the small stuff that you want, but theres more to choose from nowadays. Plus, its not as dark and dingy as it was when I was younger, not that I actually minded that.

Store is always very neat well organized clean and sufficiently stocked check out staff are very friendly and memorable and appreciate your business.

The also in portage is the best also of all. This one on Broadway in Merrillville is ok.

Did an instacart pick up no waiting. Loaded my car up quickly and I was on my way!

The newly remodeled store looks amazing. I got some Buona products which is so so good😋😋

I gave them 2 stars because they have good food at good prices. Today, the guy that was supposed to be cleaning the carts kept leaving his post. I saw a few people taking the used carts thinking they were clean. He wasnt there when I dropped .mine off.

We love this store, service, cleanliness and very friendly, helpful store associates. Always clean always stocked up...despite how difficult COVID-19 virus has made things,, Aldis put forth the effort to make sure their store was COVID 19 ready by wiping carts down, hand sanitizer at the door, practicing social distancing All this while still making sure the shelves and freezers were stocked and store associates were available for assisting customers without making them feel uncomfortable. Fruits good fresh and sweet

Nice remodel. Much bigger store and lots more quality choices. This is such a change from the old days when it was a place to stock up on canned food and cheap frozen food. Tons of fresh food, organics, and still great prices. On a Saturday afternoon, the lot was packed but there was lots of room to move and fast checkout. A must go to place now with the fresh new look.

Employeed and the people shopping there are very friendly. when I had to use cane because of knee surgery, a man offered to just put my groceries up on the check out counter. after my heart surgery a lady offered to take my groceries out and put them in the car for me. If something is too high up someone usually offers to get it. The people that shop that there are just super friendly and nice.

The store didnt have anything but organic food products and upscale foods. Not what it used to be. There was one nice employee. I wouldnt go back to this Aldis again.

Remodel is great. Brioche bread here is good as well. So are the green grapes. I buy most of my groceries at Aldi.

Only grabbed 5 things.. The streets are loaded with snow and slush yet the store was incredibly clean. There were no longer conversation which allowed us quick prompt service. Thank you very much!

Checker was rather negative. Acted like I was putting her out for asking a price on an unmarked clearance item. Food prices great except they had no arugula in stock. Mgr got me the price and was very nice. Perhaps checker was having a bad day

I love aldi! Great prices compared to other places. Bring your own bags and a quarter for a shopping cart. I dont mind returning the cart for my quarter back as this keeps the lot clear of random carts.They have weekly specials and special buys. These are the things you want to grab when you see them as they are not normally carried.

Absolutely awesome! I love the consistency of Aldis. I am moving from Minneapolis area to Upstate NY. My car broke down North of Merrillville. It is getting repaired at the also awesome KIA dealership down the road. Aldis is known for opening cashier lines when the volume of customers ready to check out increases. Again I witnessed this. They are efficient, respectful, clean, and well stocked! They always have great prices as well.
