This is one of the best grocery stores around. They have authentic Mexican merchandise. The tamales to go are fantastic. We buy some every two weeks. The butcher shop here is better than the big box stores. You get better tasting meats.Es una de las mejores super mercados en la área. Los tamales son bien buenos. The, absolute, best tacos and tamales in the area. I had no idea they had a grill in the back. When I was told you can buy fresh and hot tacos (a colleague told me this morning in a meeting) I went there for lunch. I ordered three steak carne asada tacos and they exceeded my expectations. I will never go anywhere else for tacos, tamales, enchiladas, etc for as long as I live here. Leave a tip for their excellent food, fast service and attention. If they raised the price on their food, I would be happy to pay that. The closest to this authentic food is in Blue Island. I’m not driving that to fulfill my taco needs. Thank you!

Great, authentic Mexican food! I love this place! The best lingua (tongue) tacos that Ive ever had! Chicharron is also Delicious! I cant wait to try All of the other tacos/dinners that they serve! By the way its also a really cool groceries store!

Horrible cuatomer service, guy at the front always has a terrlble attitude. They sell what a regular mexican store sells, veryy pricey though, good thing Mi Pueblito is also close by and their customer service is way better.

The owner was cutting meat with an open cut, when questioned he gave an ultimatum to buy or leave it. Instead of wearing gloves, which he stated made the knife slip. Leaving me to suggest he not cut meat.

Unsanitary, dirty and disgusting. The food they serve customers sits on a dirty trash can full of flys. I went to the back of the resturant where they had the door open and saw it! Hope no one eats this garbage!

Family owned Mexican market/to-go restaurant. Overall, good service. Typically you are in and out, unless you get a few people with lots of groceries. If unfortunately you find yourself in that situation, patience is key. It will be awhile.

Love Mexican food? I do. If Im making Mexican dinner, this is the only place I stop. The marinated skirt steak is perfect, and theyll cut it whatever thickness you want, ready to drop on the grill. The produce is great, ripe and ready. The prices are also very affordable. Surprisingly large selection for a smaller store. They take credit card as well which is convenient.

First time @Supermercado Mi Poblanita... The tacos are amazing. Great portion servings. Red and green salsas are flavorful and have a good kick of heat. I tried the Asada and Al Pastor tacos. Both were great, but I think the Al Pastor tacos were better. I will definitely be going back soon!

Not the friendliest places and big guys like me have trouble getting through the aisles but overall it was a pretty good experience and I found what I needed for some posole

1st. Time going to this groceries store and I love everything that it has. Love their Mexican sour cream. So delicious and their vegetables and fruits are so fresh and delicious.

Your cashier is very rude, doesn’t make eye contact or greet customers. I observed this again yesterday and it doesn’t matter if customers are Black or Mexican because she doesn’t speak to me or my parents . I told my family and friends to stop giving your store our money. And the Black older gentleman that was in your store yesterday ... I apologized for her lack of people skills and advised him to tell his family and friends to go elsewhere.

A lot of overpriced items, very small crowded store, but they have some Mexican food products I need. Customer service is non existent.

I absolutely loved this store! I didnt even realize it was so close to home. Ut had everything I could have possibly needed for an authentic Mexican meal. Definitely will be shopping there more often.

Food is good from the restaurant in the back of the store. Great prices and they arent skimpy on the quantity of food.

My new spot to buy carnitas! The service was great and the staff was very friendly! They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. I love the music playing and even the customers (who seem like regulars) are nice. I havent ate at the mini restaurant in the back yet but excited to try it out one day.

Very dirty store. And employees do not wear masks. This is a health hazard and specially the cooks/meat packagers should be wearing a mask when handling our meats. So disheartened and disappointed.

The Restaurant in the back of the store is great. Its small, one table and 3 stools to sit down. Its more of a carry out place. The favor is awesome and they give generous portions. You can make two tacos out of the one they give you. The price are super affordable. La cecina meat is my wifes favorite I love the tacos al pastor. The guacamole the store sales is great too, not to salty, spot on and perfect for dips. The store has general Mexican food items with moderate prices. The weekends they sell carnitas which taste great as well.

OMG they have it all...found it by accident because we were actually going to a restaurant in the same plaza. Parking us really tight so we parked in front of the super mercado, and thats how we saw the sign for the tacos and burritos. We decided to go in there because little places like that usually have the best food. We were not disappointed!!! I got the steak tacos and my hubby got tripa tacos and steak tortas. They were excellent!!! Definitely going back. The meat at the counter looked excellent, the prices for the groceries were not super high like youd think theyd be in a small store, and the homemade guacamole, salsa, cracklings, and other stuff has to be good cuz everyone was coming in to buy it...definitely going back!!!!!! Well stock of Fresh fruits and vegetables. Friendly staff. Went in to buy chorizo..but they ran out. Prices are good. Ill definitely come back to buy my mandado (groceries) here.

Great Tacos fresh veggies and fruit

Everything here that they make is delicious and authentic. The staff is always very courteous and helpful. Every time Ive been there, I go often, there is someone who speaks English fluently. All homemade carnitas, pozole, menudo, flautes, chicharones (pork rinds), barbacoa and chorizo just to name a few. Also have a good selection of meats some of which they week be happy to cut to order. They also have baked goods, produce and a selection of canned goods.

The food is great and so are the prices.

Just moved from Chicago after searching, found this gem of a place and.... hands down the best place around NWI for authentic Mexican food tamales,carnitas, menudo,flutas, just to name a few items. Trust me (I am very selective)I say the food here is delicious well worth checking out not to mention the employees are helpful and polite.
