If I could give no stars I would I have been run around by this company and there 150 year old eye doctor.. Walmart vision center can get my prescription right but this place doesn’t want to seem to listen I’ve told my problem over and over and I seem to just get eye rolled they need a whole new staff in there except for the guy with glasses everyone else is massively rude I have serious vision problems and they are not taking my needs into consideration I have insurance why can I not properly be help as a manager in retail this isn’t acceptable I will never come here again and will tell anyone not to

Selecting 1 star because zero is not an option.The organization of this store, it’s employees and functions are comparable to that of 4 year olds junk drawer.After moving to the are we were looking for a new optical center. We decided to try this location as it is on our way between the freeway and our home. We pass it often… considering our latest experience we will be passing it much more in the future. After an over priced vision exam we were told we would receive a six month supply of contacts including a stigmatism. When we arrived we were propelled into an argument with an employee that insisted we only paid for three months of contacts, but we should be pleased because they normally cost 💲500 per box and we only had to pay $130 thru insurance. Then we were told after paying the indiscriminate bill that the person that sold us the contacts isn’t normally at the store and they must have misspoke. This is a very easy bait and switch. We will not be patrons of this facility EVER again. It’s likely we will never visit any other company store again.After some internet research the same contacts cost 💲 65 (total for 2 boxes) at Costco.

What a total mess. Between my wife and I we spent over $1600 for four pairs and, one of my pairs has spots in the right side lense that because of their protocols regarding time limits for complaints, they could not warranty the problem. Ordered in February, received in January, no coverage in May. I am now seeing more spots in both lenses.Stay away, run from this company.

I have been going to Visionworks for a long time. Different stores because I travel. This time, I have been through 2 pair of contacts and still cant read. I got glasses because I was hoping to be able to use them when my eyes got tired, especially since I spend a lot of time on the computer. So much for progressive lenses. I have to push them all the way up my face and look out the bottom to be able to read the screen.Everybody was really nice there, but it just doesnt help if you have to go to Dollar Tree for reading glasses after you spend a couple of hundred dollars. On my last set of contacts I can actually see with and no way to replace them

Everyone is always really nice. Theyre not pushing you to buy all the bells and whistles. They are all just themselves trying to help you out with the process while having fun. Visionworks was a quick and easy experience. The exam and payment and coverage for insurance was explained and a detailed printout was given so you knew what was covered under your insurance and what wasnt. They gave me a 60% off coupon to cover my glasses that I wanted replaced due to insurance only covering either contacts or glasses so wanted contacts that was covered and given the coupon to help get my glasses. The new retinal scan machine was painless no headaches or pain and gave full image of each of my eyes. The doctor thoroughly explained the x-rays of each eye. I am very pleased with the service I received.

I hate to leave this review but I am very disappointed. My experience at vision works was great. Everyone was super friendly. Their system went down and they continued to see patients without any trouble. Most places would just cancel patients. I got a prescription for contacts and glasses. Once I wore my trial pair I tried calling to order my year supply. However nobody ever answered their phone. I called daily for weeks and still nobody answered the phone. I had to take time out of my busy schedule and find a new place toget my contacts.

Update: I had to knock a star off because I guess it depends who you get when you go there, but when we went to pick up our sons glasses, they made us make an appt for days later to get them adjusted. All he needed was the arms bent around his ears. No other customers were even in there when we picked them up. We even had a quick question and the girl said she was new and didn’t know so she went to ask another guy there and she had to come kind of relay the message to us because he couldn’t walk 5ft over to us to talk to us. That was weird and such a contrast from the last time we were in there.So we had to come back again a few days later for a guy to take all of 2 minutes to heat up the arms and bend them. I think he even felt bad we needed to make an appt to come back just for that. At least he was very nice... it was just the one Saturday a few hours before closing that seemed to have unhelpful staff there.We had such a great experience while getting glasses for our 7 year old for the first time! The employees were kind, helpful, took their time with us, and were very personable and made my son feel great about his new glasses! Thank you!

The eye doctor, David Palmieri was a great guy, had some interesting eye exam test techniques, seemed to result in a better prescription that was accurate for both eyes. I did the Optos Optomap retinal scanning for an extra $35 on my visit, it was worth it not to get dilated. Once the eye exam was over, I requested copies of all the documents pertaining to my visit (per HIPAA protections), I received all the documentation except for my retinal scans.I pray that you do not request copies of your Optos retinal scans.Apparently the only way to receive your retinal scans is through email, and theyll tell you over and over that they sent them and then just not believe you when you tell them you didnt receive them. I never received any emails until Visionworks corporate got involved and even then I apparently only got one email attempt out of at least four, with the subject line being OPTOS IMAGES ATTEMPT 4 - the whole thing was a big hassle. I got hung up on a couple times trying to get it sorted this last Saturday, that was unpleasant and unprofessional but in the end it all seemingly got sorted out-ish. There might be another image floating around that I didnt receive, but frankly its not worth the hassle.Email is definitely not my first choice for communicating medical documents. I am not entirely sure theyre being HIPAA compliant but thats someone elses hassle from here.As long as you arent requesting your own protected medical documentation you should have a relatively fun time at Visionworks.

It was good care fast and efficient. Only gave 4 stars because they didnt dialate my eyes at the exam and it would of been nice to have the frames set up low to high, I had to look at every tag to see if the price was in my frame allowance.

Talk about absolutely HORRIBLE custom service from Unique, Eunique, however she spells her name...I called to get information on my boyfriends prescription. She started off talking fine, but when she couldnt find him, she became super rude and hostile. I explained that my friend helped me at this location and it was odd that he wasnt in the system. She responds with Okay sooo? What do you want me to do about it in the RUDEST tone. Totally shocked by the response, I said that Id call back. She tells me take my issue up with corporate?I called back and could hear her complaining about how rude I was in the background to what I assume was other employees?I was so confused just looking for information. Its one thing to maybe have a bad day or get frustrated because you cant help? But to try to complain about me when I was nothing but nice? You should not being working in a field that involves customer service with such a childish high school like attitude. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Youre absolutely right, I should call corporate, but about YOUR behavior.If youre coming here for any service, ask for anyone else but this woman Unique? Eunique? Which ever, I promise you wont get any unique service from her.

The eye doctor (Dr Palmieri) was competent and helpful, but his staff (Jacqueline) was very rude and needs empathy training. She may assess patients a hundred times a day but her patients do this perhaps once per year and in this business, loyalty counts. She needs to slow down, be empathetic to patients unfamiliar with the technology instead of barking out orders. She hates her job and that is somehow her patient’s fault. I won’t be back.

This location was great in person. They took every health precaution to keep everyone safe... BUT if you need to get through to them on the phone, FORGET about it. They never answer the phone. I ordered contacts almost a month ago and still haven’t gotten a response from the office whether or not they are in. This is absolutely ridiculous, all other locations seem to answer the phone. I will not be returning.

Wonderful Dr, HORRIBLE customer service. I took my son to this office for a pair of glasses and was told that the pair would be ready in two weeks and they would call me. FOUR weeks later I call to find out why I have not heard from anyone or have not received my glasses and I am told that the particular lenses we choose they were having a difficult time making and they just heard back from the lab yesterday and now have a new date it would be ready. I asked why I was not informed that there was a delay and was told they didnt know until yesterday- still 2 weeks later than expected. I asked why if they found out yesterday I still was NEVER called to tell me and if I had not called I would still not have been updated and again no viable answer. I would never take my son to this place again and encourage you to take your child somewhere that cares enough to keep you in the loop regarding the care and vision of your child.

This is absolutely the worst office I have ever dealt with when it comes to customer service. I have been trying for 48 hours to cancel my eyeglass order I have sent multiple texts through their live chat I have sat on hold for 45 minutes for two days only to find out that I was rerouted to a hub that since text to them and it’s supposed to have them call me back and I have heard absolutely nothing. Not only will I never go back to Visionworks but I will not refer anybody I know

I loved my visit here. Doctor Chung was very polite and very professional in addressing my concerns. She helped me understand my vision issues, and helped me to feel better about any anxieties I may have had. My favorite part however was working with Eunique to get my frames picked out and to add the extras onto my lenses. I’m incredibly grateful to Eunique.She made me laugh a lot, and she too addressed concerns and she gave me the sweetest compliments about my appearance. She made this potato feel pretty and I’m happy for that.Despite my struggle trying to locate this facility, I would definitely recommend this location to anyone and everyone who asks. :

Amazing practice! The facility is very clean. The assistant that works the front desk and administers some basic test before you see the optometrist was extremely nice. They offer a retinal scan that gives them a much better look at your eyes’ health and doesn’t require dilating. I think it costs $35. They informed me of it but we’re bot pushy at all. Glad I did it. My eye was healthy but when I did meet the optometrist, after his tests, he sat down with me at the computer and showed me all the different parts of my eye! He also explains why it’s a good $35 spent. He has discovered tumors, diabetes,etc in people and they had no idea! This is my to go place now. Polite, efficient, and not filled with pushy sales people trying to just rack up a bill!!

For the past 3 years I have done my eye exams at this location and they were Great! However, I dont know if it is because the Covid restrictions or due to staffing changes but they have really dropped the ball. It has bee exactly 3 weeks since my appointment and 2 weeks since my glasses were supposed to be done, and I still have not herd from anyone. When I try to call the office I cant reach anyone, and eventually it transfers you to the Customer Care Center, but no one answers their either. And because of the Covid restrictions you can no longer just walk in and get your glasses you have to set an appointment to go in. But the online portal will only allow you to set an appointment for an eye exam, not to for the pickup and adjustment.

The lady who helped me choose glasses was great but under teained. She did my payment wrong. Three days later they called and said they wanted me to give my info to them over phone. I dont want to do that had info stolen. Asked to come in and pay. The lady Unice or something refused. She said if we came in there to pay she would have us arrested. Overreacted and rude. She cancelled my order. Their customer service a joke. Lost my business for good. Cant even file a complaint. She said we were harassing her. She called me after three days. Refered me to a line that no one answers. Worst customer service.Train your staff.

This store has become horrible. Their customer service skills are ZERO. Went in for a simple less than 5 minute glass adjustment so I could wear them and the woman saw me come in, I stood there waiting 10 minutes, then she comes over and wants to schedule an appointment just to adjust the glasses. I will no longer spend my money or time at Visionworks again. I loved the doctor at this store, but because of the Visionworks store, I will go find a new doctor. Save your money, go elsewhere...

Had exam and ordered new sun glasses along with new lenses for my existing frames. Very surprised to discover order had to go to Texas. So no glasses at all for that week.New glasses mailed to my home. One of the sun glass lenses had come out. Prescription seemed off. Got another exam that was more correct. Then wait again for the TX round trip mail. I picked up regular glasses at the store but had to make appt to get them fitted. Still waiting on the sun glasses. Can not get hold of anyone. Calling their number only gets you a continuous loop of were glad you called Visionworks. So I went to their website to make an appt. Only choice was for an exam. No other way to communicate to ask where my sunglasses were, or how to make an appointment to pick them up and have glasses fitted.

Do not go here!!! Ive been waiting almost 2 weeks for my contacts. Trying to be patient. Call for an update and after 25 mins on hold (called the local number) get transferred to the corporate call center that says its probably just better for me to go in person. Drive the 10 mins only to find out there is nobody there on a Thursday that can give me an update as to where my contacts might be but to try again tomorrow! Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!And on top of that when I went for my appointment they tried to charge me for the opto map thing that I did not want and did not get.

Since VSP changed and is no longer accepted at Costco for eye exams we were forced to go to another optical place. We gave Visionworks a try at Superstition Gateway. So happy we did. Jeremy was the only person working at the time. As customers were walking in he was so courteous and helpful. Not only to us but all that walked in. Dr. Poneh Alavi was funny and courteous and professional. My husband and I talked about this place all afternoon on how we were treated with respect and great customer service. Great job everyone.

From picking frames to helping calm my upset son, I was continuously impressed by the staff all around. The optometrist explained some images of my optic nerves and helped me understand them too. I like this Visionworks a lot! First of all, Alex is a total sweetheart. She spent about 15 mins helping me browse glasses and finding a really great pair that fit perfectly. I would never have considerred the option if not for her.The wait time was quick because they were ready when i got there. Everything was sanitized and they temperature check for Covid-19 at the door. The exam process was great with no dialation needed because of the imaging machine. Dr. Palmieri was helpful and knowledgeable. It was a seamless visit. Expect about 2 weeks for delivery of your new pair of glasses.

I had an appointment and came in 10 minutes early as suggested, but have been sitting here for an hour and still havent seen the optometrist. Unless you have all day for a vision exam, I suggest you go somewhere else.UPDATE: Once I was finally able to see the optometrist, he was very kind, knowledgeable and apologetic even ensuring that I was fast-tracked through the process. I am altering my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star based on my experience with the Optometrist.

Courtney and her associates are magnificent, from the moment I called I felt my Son’s (16 & 7yrs) were important, our puppy chewed out 16yr old glasses two days before school started and they got me right in for a Saturday appointment. Might as well wait for the COVID scare to be over before you go to this store. They are understaffed, you cannot get a hold of them by phone, even to buy glasses frames without being seen by a doctor you need an appointment and its difficult to schedule. They will take your tempature which is not ideal in AZ when its 112 degrees outside. I wasted so much time and didnt even get to look at glasses. We will take our business elsewhere. I am not blaming the staff, the girls were pleasant enough, but the owner requirements are excessive.

Waited a week for my glasses and the second pair I ordered was defective. It had a laser etching of some Random Generated Number Onto The Frames. Update: Its now been 15 days waiting and still have not received my second, already paid for, glasses. I was promised by customer service that it would be ready today. Poorest service Ive had with a ophthalmologist. Update #2: its been 20 days. (Nearly a month). Still no second, already paid for pair. If you want to make it right how about you rush the order like you promised over the phone.

I really enjoyed my experience at Vision Works. Tim was patient and helped me choose two great frames. He explained the different options and the customer service in general was amazing! Wow! I love this place! Alie, running the office, was awesome - very personable, friendly and totally understanding. The Doctor himself was very friendly, efficient and was very mindful of my time while being very thorough. I would highly recommend Vison Works at Signal Butte!

This is the absolute most horrible place Ive been i had a scratch on my lens and went in to get new ones and they took my money and told me 2 weeks this was 4 months ago Ive called made claims and still nothing I get put on hold for ever I have all my calls recorded and have contacted my attorney im sick of this i cant see and its affecting my work performance tremendously this place sucks
