My initial visit for the eye exam was decent. However when I went to simply pick up my things is another story. I enter the store, walk over to the eye center and wait behind the boundary they have setup to keep customers out. Stand there for about 10 minutes while a woman by the name of Tanisha helping an elderly couple does not even acknowledge my existence. So I say Excuse me, I am here just to pick up my things it will take maybe just a minute Her response to me Im the only one here, your going to have to wait So I stood there for another 15 minutes as she what seemed to be purposely taking her sweet time. Then she finally grabbed my things which literally took less than a minute. Also about half way through the time I was waiting another employee comes from the back and again completely ignored me being there. Its pretty obvious that the people there take no pride in there work, let alone know how to treat customers.

Had the pleasure of coming here today! The staff was phenomenal. The doctor was helpful and seemed to genuinely care about my eye care needs. I am so grateful I came to this location. Some Wal-Marts lack cleanliness, but this location does not. The vision center is clean and orderly. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. If you want friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people whose mission it is to satisfy you and your vision wants and needs, I would highly recommend coming to this location!

Happy with everything. I was in there to get my frames re fitted the staff took care of me free of charge the frames werent even from them so happy they will definitely be my next stop for glasses

I have had glasses and contacts for years and have gone to a lot of different places. this spot is hands down the best I have ever been to! The staff is A+ and the dr is the best I have ever had. I will follow her till the day I wont need glasses anymore lol.

To AutomateJasper,You left out the part about you being on your cell phone the entire time you were filling out paperwork and delaying the whole exam process. The optician called you back twice to start the exam screening and you ignored him and continued your phone conversation. At that point it was 15 minutes into your scheduled exam time and the patient scheduled after you was ready to be screened already.I asked you if you wanted to reschedule..... obviously it was an important phone call because you refused to hang up. You finally hung up and didnt utter one sorry for holding things up. At that point the optician didnt ask you if you had contacts in because you scheduled a glasses exam, not a contact lens exam. I get the feeling you have been having exams most of your life...you should know that you dont wear your contacts into an exam.You told me you werent having problems with your contract lens prescription....it merely expired. As it was, your prescription was equal for both eyes. I explained to you my findings and we mutually agreed to not fix what isnt broken. I have been doing this 20 years and know enough if I try to fix what isnt broken the patient often comes back mad.Regarding the dilation....I didnt have time to do a 30 minute eye exam in the 5 minutes you left me after delaying your exam due to continuing your phone conversation. A dilation can always be done on a follow-up visit. You had one last year so I felt it wasnt even necessary.We pride ourselves at our location on minimizing patient wait time by scheduling accordingly and rescheduling a patient if seeing them would put us behind schedule and possibly make other patients have to wait. Looking back on this, I wish we had rescheduled you.Unfortunately you felt the need to bring this up to Corporate when you could have handled it at our store. The complaint email that I was given cut off your credit card info. My staff called you twice to verify the last 4 of your credit card number so I could issue your refund. You didnt respond to the voicemails left. The next thing I hear is you write the BBB and drag us through the mud. Once again, this could have been handled locally. You just got your $90 refunded. I respectfully ask that you remove your unfair reviews; we both know they are full of half truths and embellishments.Stacie Hassert OD

Dr. Kane has been my optometrist for over 15 years and is professional, likable, and I think does a fine job.The only reason Im not giving him 5 stars is the staff. This is Walmart afterall, and the same person is never there from one visit to the next. A simple address update took 12 minutes with a gal who barely spoke English last time.In the end though I do recommend because a quality eye doctor is more important to me.

Went in for glasses the staff are lazy and dont seem to know their job. Glasses didnt fit properly as they didnt adjust to fit me straight off the shelf. The optician was ok at first but the glasses gave Me head aches and I couldnt see to read out of one eye. This was the second time I went back. She started placing blame on me that it was my fault she could t get my prescription correct. I told them to cancel and send the money back to my insurance. She did but did not want to sand just wanted to give me back what the insurance paid her which have left me short for another eye exam elsewhere. Wont be back to walmart vision center.

2007 I just moved to AZ and the apartment complex I lived in caught on fire! Luckily our apartment wasnt damaged but I couldnt go back to get my contacts. So I went to this Walmart Optical on Stapley and they were able to get a fax from my out-of-state prescription and refill my contacts. Ive gone back with and without insurance why? Because Dr. Kane is a great doctor, his staff is always friendly and accomindating not to mention most of them have worked there since 2007. In 2014 I moved back to AZ and I had a horrible time with other eye doctors. I KNEW I could count on Dr. Kane for not only getting the right contacts but not trying to upsale me with contacts that did not work for me. Great job to this team and Ill keep going back. And ps. it doesnt matter if you have insurance, you will always pay a contact fitting fee. My insurance gave a discount but not enough it made a difference.

I would recommend Aidee to anyone! From the moment I spoke with her over the phone I knew she knew what she was talking about. She is informative and cuts right to the chase and wastes no time. We had previously went to Lenscrafters in the Fiesta Mall and we spent so much money and time on just the exams. They want to up sell you on everything and anything and there is so many hidden fees. Over all we spent a quarter of what Lenscrafters wanted. The frames are nice and affordable. Im pleased with the visit and the customer service.

Incompetant staff. Thought Id save time buying contacts here since I had a print out of my prescription but its like my standard prescription was written in a different language to them. Will just keep getting them from optometrist office

I went in for an contact exam that was only going to cost me $10. Then I get charged a $40 contact fitting which I was not told it would cost or that I had an option to not do it. Then when I asked the doctor to give me a cheaper contact brand, he stated he does not prescribe any brands then what he gave me even though walmart advertise contacts as low as $14.95. I told a lady why does he even works at a walmart but does not give the patient the option to choose what they want. FYI Wal-Mart, your losing money with that doctor. 2 out of the 3 walmart staff was helpful but still no one did anything about the $40 charge. Never going back!!
