Nice guy on phone. I told wade the situation, I needed flange repair, catalytic and muffler. During the whole process I spoke with office over 4 times. I was fine paying for the repair. Was told to pick it up. When I got to shop wade said only a bolt was tightened. They didnt do the repair I had authorized at least 6 times during phone calls. When I turned it on there was a strange noise when I mentioned it his mechanic was great wanted to check it out I wanted to know what it was as the noise wasnt there before. Wade listened to 3-4 times as he reved it then accused me of calling him a thief. I never called him that, he told to to go down the street to another shop and dont come back... old man should retire. NOT A GOOD SHOP BECAUSE THE OWNER IS A JACKASS.

I needed a Catalytic Converter replacement to pass emissions. I was calling around to different muffler shops in the valley for price quotes. I was getting conflicting information from each place I called about what I needed, but all of them wanted at least $500; some of them more. Then I called Wades. He immediately understood what I needed and gave me an exact price, and it was less than half of what most of the places I previously called had quoted. I told him the information I was given and he very clearly explained to me why they wanted so much more, and that those places were just trying to sell me something extra that I didnt even need.When I stopped by the shop, they had me in and out in 45 minutes. There was another gentleman there with a 93 Ferrari that told me hes been their customer for years, and theyre good, honest guys. Id have to agree with him, and Ill be going back the next time I need work done.

Their office staff is very rude to customers.!! Had talk to the front desk on Thursday made appointment for Friday at 2:00 p.m.. To see Wade home Im assuming is the owner. Got there 30 minutes early on Friday walked in and a lady I had talked to on Thursday said we dont make appointments with customers And I responded I had talked to you yesterday to make this appointment And her reply was We do not call customers only when the job is done. Then she said Wade is not in today. I responded a courtesy call would have been nice I drove 50 miles from West Phoenix to come to this establishment because I heard Wade does a good job. Well needless to say the lady at the front desk did not like hearing that and became even more rude to me. Highly recommend not using this establishment there are plenty of good muffler shops in Phoenix that would love your business. I wish I Could have given them no stars 👎👎

I called up wade and asked for a simple easy muffler delete on my camaro, told me bring it in and said it wouldn’t be a problem. Wade answers the phone personally, walked me under the vehicle to show exactly where the problem was, allowed me to watch the progress, and completed muffler replacement with exhaust manifold reattachment and new gaskets in about an hour without an appointment! I guess if you have a lowered car you should not take it to Wades! Had custom exhaust done for our car we spent years building. Went to pick it up but piping only had 2 of clearance from the ground and the car could not be drivin. Had them rework the piping with a smaller diameter section and when we came to pick it up the car door had damage from backing off the lift. Noticed the damage to our car immediately upon picking it up and Wade said I think it was like that before and well whatever you want to do about that what does that even mean. Had to make a couple of return trips to tack the heat sheilds on the cats and stop them from rattling. I drove the car on and off his lift without issue and it never had to be jacked. Even a return trip to weld the chrome tip back on that flew off in traffic. I have not done exhaust work before but I dont think the pipe should be in contact with the frame at any point, my car had multiple points. Took me for ever to get all of the loud rattling to stop had to contiually adjust it myself before the car could be driven. We even had to repaint the driveline due to it rubbing one of the pipes. Not what I expected at all from a custom shop and is now resorted to name calling blaming the car and the customer, completely unprofessional. We trusted Wade when he said he had done a custom car like it and could do the job well, just didnt work out for us. If you need a quick hack job Wade is your guy.. The name of Wades business should tell you everything you need to know about it!

Wade himself is a pretty good guy, I was very satisfied with the service and the environment. Its not a bad shop. But with that being said, there were a few things here and there that I was not satisfied with. I got my exhaust done around 4 or 5 months ago and it sounds great but the exhaust hangers towards the rear have already snapped 3 times. Im not sure whether its because of cheaper materials being used or what, but I am not very rough on my truck by any means. Also, after I got it done I noticed I had a clanging sound coming from around the beginning of my bed and once I hopped under to look I noticed there was an old OE hanger just hanging there loosely. This should have been unbolted or cut off. I also noticed where some of the other hangers were it almost looks like he snapped them off instead of cutting and grinding them down to sit flush. I feel for the quality, I may have overpaid a bit. I plan on getting my exhaust redone in the future anyways, but this is very irritating and a few things could have been done better. Thank you, Wade for the good service, but I think I may take my business elsewhere next time. Have a good one, sir.

This was my first visit to Wades, and I was very impressed by Wade! I needed my sons Audi down pipe welding up, so I wasnt spending a lot of money on this visit, but I was made to feel very welcome, and Wade and I had a good chat about cars on general. Not your average exhaust shop, Wade has a passion for what he does, and for looking after his customers. I will be returning with more work for Wade. The shop is situated in a business Park style location, so clean and tidy around the shop. Thank you Wade for looking after me.

Greatest place to go for anything related to your exhaust! Ive taken multiple vehicles of my own to Wades, and a couple from my close family members. Ive even recommended Wades to the people I tow when they need muffler and brake work. It baffles me to see that Wades has anything less than a five star rating!

Writing a review for a MUFFLER SHOP??? YES!! The fact that Im taking time out of my day to write this review should speak volumes. I drove up, asked how long to remove the resonator off my Cooper. They said, 30 minutes and put his hand out for the keys. Drove it in, started cutting, I heard the resonator hit the ground, then heard welding and out my car came, in at least half the time. Paid and was on my way with an amazing sounding car. If you need exhaust work, these guys are MONEY!!! Without charging a ton of it, I might just say.

Hard to believe this place has a majority of good reviews. Spoke to Wade on the phone and they quoted $250 for a new Cadillac converter for my daughters car. I sent my 20 year old daughter down there to have the work done and they tell her its going to be $700 and would take a couple hours. Now I understand a phone quote may be off one way or another but $500? So I had her leave and we went to another shop to get a second quote to make sure. They did the work in 30 minutes for $240! I have half a mind to go down and have a not so nice conversation with these guys but what good would that do? So I would recommend that you get a price from another shop before having any work done here. I will make sure to leave this review anywhere I can and have contacted the Better Business Bureau. I would not recommend using these guys.

Best way to explain the shop and people who work at Wade’s Discount Muffler & Brakes……. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!It started with my Yukon. I was quoted by a shop (that I had used previously for multiple vehicles) $2,000 for two new catalytic converters. I decided to shop around and came across reviews of Wade’s shop. I have never seen so many great reviews and decided to give him a call. We talked briefly, which is all it took for me to commit to bringing my car in the very next morning.As I promised Wade on the phone, I was there at 8 a.m. the next morning. They replaced both CAT’s in just over an hour and I was out of there paying less than 25% of the original quote from the other shop.Since they were so great, I brought my Mitsubishi back in the same day for an exhaust alteration. They helped me out even more by replacing another item on my car that I was having trouble replacing on my own. The work was completed within 45 minutes for a price I still cannot believe.This is absolutely the best place for any work they will do for someone. Fast, friendly, and affordable. I went in to get a after market muffler, Flow Master or comparable. It was around 4 PM when I arrived and they had me out the door with in 45 minutes. The new exhaust sounds better than the stock and I notice improvement in performance. I installed a cold air intake before I brought it in and now with both the new muffler and cold air intake there is a difference in sound and acceleration. While I was waiting in the waiting area which has lots of reading material and seats the staff inside was very friendly and conversational. Will be a repeat customer and will recommend.

1st time here today and I will only come here for future exhaust work on my Jeep SRT. I had a gash in my muffler that needed repair, my vehicle was pulled in immediately after I arrived (unscheduled no appointment made) and the repair only took about 10 minutes, Kelly took care of it. So I have been going to wade now for a few years and he has hooked me up with some of the best service you can ask for at any muffler shop. Its just him and a few other guys that have good knowledge and are super friendly. They will set you up with a great price and have never tried to do me wrong. All the exhaust work I have had done has been guaranteed to this day. Ive literally seen these guys look at the underside of a truck and take a long straight piece of exhaust tube and put every single bend on the thing in one session, and then bolt it right up to the truck with a perfect fit!! That is something you get from having time in the business for sure! Even better yet, they recently moved literally less then a mile from my house!!! Well folks, I researched exhaust shops a couple of weeks ago while building my motor and finally came across Wades Discount Muffler Shop on Yelp and read all the reviews. Great guy to talk to over the phone and you just get that good vibe right off the bat. So guess what, I took my 1972 Chevelle to Wades today for a full custom dual exhaust. Nothing but outstanding service from Wade and his crew from the moment I stepped inside the front door to when I left. They do nothing short of outstanding work with quality craftsmanship.... AND at a very fair, reasonable price that just cant be beat. You can surely tell hes been doing exhaust for over 30yrs and you know he isnt out to oversell or rip you off on things you dont need. Wade and his crew also took the time to modify one of my headers since the shifter linkage was binding on it. There was never a no, cant do that statement... just a yup, we can do that... theres always a solution. I dont ever write reviews but Wades Discount Muffler Shop deserved my time to right this review. One last statement to sum things up... If you are looking for an exhaust shop, need a muffler replaced, catalytic converter replaced, headers, single or dual exhaust and any other exhaust repairs then you MUST do yourself a favor and go to Wades... you will not be disappointed.

I needed to have a couple of hangers on my cat-back pipe re-adjusted so it would fit, and he did it in less than 10 minutes, completely free of charge. Phenomenal workmanship matched with fantastic customer service. Wade was able to fix an issue I with my 4X4 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe after installing a 6 inch lift. The front drive shaft for the 4wd could not be reinstalled after the lift, but Wade fabricated a custom pipe that allowed the drive shaft to be reinstalled. He was able to get my truck serviced in extremely quickly and had it back same day. New pipes and mufflers w/ tips dress the truck up quite a bit. Thanks Wade!

My name is gene from Canada, I had searched for muffler shops in Mesa AZ and thought I would give Wades muffler a call, I wanted to get some meaty sounding mufflers for my c6 Corvette Wade immediately was on the same page as I was as far as what we should put on. Just took my 1988 ford mustang and had my muffler replaced and also extended the tail pipe to the back of the car. Wade listen to what I had to say and told me we can do that. Then he suggested maybe we should also do this. I agreed and the price for the job was just right. The other thing was he was able to let me go in the workshop and see them perform the job. Everything I could hope and wish for. I bought a crappy exhaust from a crappy salesperson who lied and said this bolt on would fit. Wade even noticed parts were missing from the box! Wade was able to weld and basically rebuild the pipes right there on the spot on my Porsche. That means a lot because these csrs provide little room to work with. I was very impressed. After the install there was no rattling and the set up was firm compared to previous bolt on another Porsche I owned. Overall, I am very pleased and lucky to pick this shop. He saved me a headache and was honest and very fair for the rate.

Wade addressed my concerns with a check engine light and bad 02 sensors he then ordered up the parts needed and had them delivered while I waited, when the parts arrived they were installed and I was on my way with the check engine light off and better gas mileage. This is my second trip to Wades in about a year. I had a minor rattle from my muffler (due to one of the factory mounts falling apart on a 30 year old car), and Kelly got me sorted out in less than 10 minutes. Not bad for showing up unannounced and without an appointment. They also didnt charge me a single penny to do it either.On my first trip to Wades, Wade had helped me come up with an affordable option to replace my broken muffler. While he did that he was able to find that one of the honeycombs in my catalytic converter were broken. I ordered a cat myself and worked with Wade to get a new muffler put in with it. The new exhaust breathed some fresh air into the power response of my car (no pun intended).Bottom line: Wade is a genius when it comes to exhaust work. I will always trust this shop over any other in the valley.

Walked in and asked if Wade could do a muffler delete. Quoted me a great price and was able to get me in right then. Wade made sure his work was done right and I am very happy with the outcome.

Kelly at Wade’s could not have been more polite and did exactly what I asked him to do on my 2015 Silverado. Brought my own Flowmaster super 40 in and he quoted me BY FAR the most reasonable price out of 5 shops that inquired with. They keep an extremely clean shop and do excellent work. His welds were very nice and angled my exhaust tip perfectly. He even caught an issue that I caused when I installed some rear lift blocks and fixed the problem free of charge.Wade’s will get all my business from here on out and I would take no issue in referring my friends and family to their shop. Took my truck in to install front brakes as they were screeching. After they looked at it, they told me I have 80% pad left. They removed the rear drums and cleaned the brake dust out. All said and done, the screeching was gone and they charged me NOTHING. What a hoot. An HONEST shop. Will recommend them anytime. (slipped them a 20 spot anyway) Thanks guys.

Thank you Wade!!!!! I took my 2002 f150 to get a new exhaust done done today...40 series flowmaster with a 3 inch out and dump in front of my rear tire. With having issues from another shop I decided to call them up after being recommended. They did an AWSOME job my truck sounds amazing.... and great customer service. Just had my 2002 Audi A6 4.2l V8 in there for a muffler delete. The customer service was beyond excellent, and it was super quick!, only took around 20 minuets, and was very affordable. I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

I have a Nissan Maxima with over 230,000 miles on it, and that is to say at the least, repairs and fixes are routine. Dave and the guys at Wades are top notch. Wanted true dual exhaust system.for my 4x4. made appointment for morning was,finished with in the hour .. truck sounds great .They have all the right tools and Wade himself is a real craftsmen.. very dam professional.

Had another quote for muffler repair at a national Shop...cost too high for nature of repair. Wade over phone quoted weld job for $30. Job done well...plus he installed two brake pads for $70. He thought I had the pads, didnt do he did not charge me extra for new pads. Great friendly man to deal with.
