I have been taking banjo lessons from Chuck Linton at Linton-Milano Music for several months now. He has always been professional and courteous and has gone out of his way to help me with scheduling lesson times to fit my schedule. The other instructors I have interacted with there have all been just as professional and courteous as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone, young or old, who is thinking about learning to play a musical instrument.

Linton Milano Music has the best teachers in the state! I’ve been taking lessons from Jack Wolf and Diana Noble for 5 years. I’ve also taken lessons with several other instructors and each lesson has been fantastic. I’ve gone from a beginner on the bass guitar and guitar to playing and singing in 3 bands!!

Linton-Milano is like second home to us. My teacher, Brittany Johnson, is excellent and has opened up a whole new world to me in my retirement. The staff is wonderful and we call many of them friends. The open mics and jams held at Desert Eagle down the street are much appreciated.

My son has been taking saxophone lessons here and he loves it, we love how beautifully hes leaning to play. The music store is amazing and they always have the things we need at reasonable prices. Great for repairs too, they fixed 2 issues in one day at a very reasonable price.

Milano’s has everything! Great service and knowledgeable, helpful people. I take banjo lessons from Chuck, who’s patient and encouraging and always ready to show me how to approach something new. I’ve also had my banjo serviced in the repair department, recorded an audio Christmas card in the studio, and made friends with fellow students. When my granddaughter wanted to play the viola in school, Milano’s offered rental and purchase options that made it affordable. Milano’s has been around forever and their experience shows.

This is the best option weve found for music lessons. Richard Wall is especially good with kids and my son looks forward to lessons with him each week. Mark Poetter is also a very patient, helpful and conscientious instructor for my daughter. In addition, the store staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to instruments and their rental instruments are top notch. I would recommend Linton-Milano to anyone in the East Valley looking for instruments and instruction.

No matter how much downtown Mesa continues to grow, the family owned, small-town feel never wavers at Linton-Milano Music. As a music student, Ive bought almost my entire collection of sheet music from them, and their well-priced selection never disappoints. Better yet, youre never left feeling overwhelmed looking for a specific title, as the employees are eager to assist the moment you arrive. Beyond that, they have well priced music lessons, and quality used pianos. Linton-Milano music is always my first choice for my music needs.

Cool place, but the staff are unwelcoming ... Even as I have been here and hour looking around they seem to avoid my service, but attend to those who look more musically inclined. Not very happy with them. all I wanted was some guidence to get back into playing, but they have been ignoring me. Theyre loss on 1000$ I guess.

Im giving Linton-Milano Music five stars because I cant give them six or more. Ive been taking guitar lessons from James Soll for four years. I have no musical background. As an adult student I know myself to be difficult, opinionated and a spectacularly slow learner. James, with his super-human patience, has managed to keep me moving forward. He is never impatient or discouraging and he always reminds me that music should be fun. Hes really great at what he does. Whats more, I find the overall atmosphere of the business itself to be warm and welcoming every time I go in. It really makes my week.

Just started taking Accordion lessons with Tony Putrino at Milanos. Tony has been great and I have enjoyed the lessons. He is patient and even wrote the beginner music book that I am using. I highly recommend Tony!

Linton milano music is a wonderful place full of wonderful people! I have come here for many years to purchase sheet music. The staff is very helpful and eager to find what I am looking for. I have also taken piano lessons with Chris Soll and she was a fantastic teacher! Every other instructorI have met has been very kind of welcoming as well. Fair prices for superior lessons with some of the most qualified teachers. Great place!

I have been associated with Milanos for years and have always had a great experience. I took Piano lessons and which taught me so much and I had a lot of fun while I was taking them. I hope one day to start back up and take them with Milanos.

We have been going to Linton-Milanos for years. We have been renting instruments for our son who has been playing cello. We also get a credit towards the purchase of an instrument with every monthly rental fee paid. Our cellist has been taking lessons from Linton-Milanos for a few years. His teacher Gil Kuroiwa is great. She finds ways to connect with her students and keeps them interested in learning. He now takes a 1 hour lesson each week as he works on his lesson material and works on his Orchestra music for his school.We have also purchased an amplifier and other equipment for my other son. There staff is great. They dont hover but will say hi and are available to answer questions when needed. They all have been very knowledgeable.
