Trent was amazing! I brought my vehicle in for multiple repairs, and although it took multiple visits, he kept me informed of the status of my vehicle, and made sure everything was fixed correctly.
Called 9 times for service manager, Brad. On the 10th attempt I left a message. It has been 2 days and still no return call. Main problem, my sons car battery was bad. Called on a Friday morning explained the battery situation. Informed that the battery was still in prorated warranty.. Was told an appointment was needed and it would not be until Tuesday morning. So for 4+ days between school, work(late nights), etc my son needed to jump start his car almost every time. Luckily he was able to borrow a jump start pack as it wasnt always possible to use battery cables. Finally Tuesday comes by, was told battery tested good. I explained why it did and to check it again after a short period. Sure enough the battery failed the test and the battery needed to be replaced. So hopefully the GSM and GM see this. Please excuse me when I say, your service department needs improvement and training. How can you shrug off a customer that has a bad battery, of which was purchased at your dealership? How can you have a member of management not stay in touch with a customer that is asking for a return call? Is he leading your advisors with bad examples?
I was gifted an acura for my birthday. I had no clue about it at all. I took it for an oil change a year ago and met with Trent Jourdan. He was so awesome, he explained what services I had on the car, and what I needed to do. I got my oil change and was a happy camper. Fast forward a year later and Trent is still the same amazing person he was on day one. He always makes sure I u derstand what is going on with my car, how I may prevent it or finds the easiest resolution for me.

I am an Acura fanatic! Precision luxury crafted at its best.For me this is a convenient location to access in the city. I love some times just coming to look at new model cars and learn what new and exciting features are being offered.I have been utilizing Walker Acura for the past couple of years I have been residing in NOLA simply for the service department. I must say in the most recent year or so with the new team that has been onboarded, they are slowly but surely making strides to provide the type of service that Acura owners SHOULD be accustomed to. The biggest issue I feel for most customers or any potential business or whatever is the phone system. Definitely needs more man power to handle and take incoming calls as it can be frustrating to call in and get transferred to a voicemail or not get an answer whatsoever. Im last couple of months I have noticed a change bit still much room for improvement. So far so good but still got some room for improvement of course. I have been with friends to Mercedes & Infiniti service departments and they sure know how to make a customer feel welcomed. I have no doubt in my mind if the team at Walker stays focused they will be able to outshine whatever past negative reviews and remarks that have been posted and really get the Acura customers excited about frequenting this location once again. Selling a car is one thing, however the way to keep repeat business is to sell the service department and its benefits of why the customer should keep coming back to keep their vehicles in tip top shape, which I am pleased to see what strides that Michelle, Trey, and Erin have taken to provide a positive experience. Not only do they ensure I have a great visit I do observe their positive interactions with other customers.A cool feature about the service department is that they do offer drinks, coffee and some yummy snacks so whether you are waiting or simply on the go and dropping off they will make sure you are good to go.I do like coming to this location and hope that because it services the greater New Orleans area and more that it will continue to grow in terms of customer service and quality.
I have to say that I was very impressed with my last two interactions with Walker. Prior to these two, I was pretty indifferent compared to another Acura dealership I visit. Back in April, I worked with Trent in service who was probably the best and most polite service advisor Ive ever had at Walker. Last night, I had to turn in my leased vehicle and I worked with Aaron in sales who was very helpful and got me out in less than 10 minutes. Good job!

I was so impressed with the service that Trey provided to me. He ran an inspection and printed out his suggestions for maintenance without trying to sell me into anything unnecessary. As someone who knows nothing about cars, he was very friendly and informative and spoke in a way that I could understand. At the end of my visit he offered me a complimentary wash and vacuum for my car.

I wish every dealership operated this way! We went to the dealership knowing we wanted an SUV, but hadnt decided yet on brand or model. We had been to a couple of dealerships already and this was our last stop for the day. When we got there, I noticed it was about an hour before they closed. I expected to be brushed off since we didnt come in with a particular model in mind and was just looking. The sales staff took their time and still showed us the models we were interested in seeing and were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We ultimately found the SUV we wanted with all of the options we were looking for.Pricing was excellent compared with other dealerships we had been to throughout the day. Financing was quick and painless. Everything was explained beyond my satisfaction regarding warranty as well as financing options. I definitely will recommend my friends and family and will be back for my next purchase!
I just purchased an acura from another location. My wife wanted to get it inspected just to confirm everything was in working order. The inspection was completed and then I was offered a complimentary car wash. This was a great experience for my 1st time at the dealership!
Came here to get my Acura an oil change and tires rotated. I was promised it would be done at a given time, yet I had to wait an extra hour. Then, the complimentary car wash is not complimentary at all. The car wash is only given if the guys have time. After all that, I noticed that all my warning symbols/lights were on when I was driving home. They blamed it on my cracked windshield. Contacting them through the phone was a complete nightmare because the phone operating system would put you on hold, but instead it would automatically hang up. If I could recommend one thing, I would recommend to drive an extra 5 blocks to Royal Honda.
I have never experienced customer service like I have here. Alina my sales girl was amazing and so sweet and knowledgeable. Joe the sales manager has gone above and beyond to make sure I got the exact car I wanted and making sure it was in the perfect condition! Anyone looking for an Acura, go to Walker Acura! If I could award 0 stars for this dealership, I would. I recently purchased parts from this dealership and found that their prices on parts exceed the prices on parts at every dealership that I researched, by possibly 45% or higher. I dont plan to return to this dealership in life, I would rather sell my daughters Acura first. I play however to journey 70 miles to Baton Rouge If I wanted to get worked over. Bill in the parts department was wonderful, I would give him a 10.
Had a great experience getting our car serviced here. This is the only Acura dealership in Nola, and they did not disappoint! The service was fast, reasonably priced, and comprehensive. Everyone there was exceptionally attentive and friendly and Trey took really good care of me.

Bought a car from this place, and they were decent up to the point we realized one of the key fobs were not programmed to the car. Called them and they said it would be $150 to program it, which I find absurd due to the fact that both the keys should have worked in the first place. After getting the run around from a manager that said they would take care of it. We took matters into our own hands. Went to a locksmith (Key Shoppe in Mandeville) who did it in a matter of minutes and didnt charge us because it was so easy. I do not reccomend this dealership if you need anything else after you purchase your vehicle and make sure both keys work before you leave the lot!

Be Aware !I wanted to buy a new car. I asked to do financing through my bank, but they said that they do financing only through Acura financing. before running my credit I wanted to talk to financial manager and get detailed information about the rates. but when I met to Manager he said that already did run my credit (!!!) And offer me 72 month financing with 6,9 rate !!! And that with excellent credit score ! So the best rate they do is 6,9%, which is super super high for new car !!! Acura advertises 0,9 percent on the website.So please before let them to run the credits score, you should check everything. And don’t give them you personal information, before checking everything.Very bad experience !
Tried to buy a pre owned vehicle over the phone, they are not up to the times, took a week to get pricing, then insultingly offered me 2-3k below rough trade value on a mint condition vehicle I wanted to trade. Be careful with these guys. I won’t try to deal with again.

Had oil change and tire rotation performed today at Walker Acura. They did a pretty good job but it took over an hour and a half and when the car came out the low tire pressure warning light was on. Had to send it back for air. They did wash the car and provide a comfortable area to wait. My service advisor was nice and took care of everything.
Under new management! Great experience, great customer service. Im so happy with my recent purchase. My salesman, Robert, worked diligently to get me exactly what I needed. He was knowledgeable about each vehicle and made sure I was content every step of the way. As a team, they were able to get the luxury car that I wanted within the price and time limit that I needed. Robert still checks in often to assure that I am happy with my purchase and that any questions I have are answered. Couldnt have asked for a better experience! Wanda was fantastic, she got me the car I wanted, for the price I wanted and I drove in to New Orleans and drove back with my new car 4 hours later. I loved how they simply asked “what can we do to sell you this car?” After going to 6 dealerships not a single one of them asked me that. The dealerships gave me price sheets and giant car books at me assuming I hadn’t done my homework.It’s nice to know the car buying process doesn’t always have to be awful. Just find the right dealer first, like this one.
Not reliable at all
They must only give acceptable service to people that buy new Acuras. I bought a used car three months ago from them. I love the car but since Im the only person that uses the car Ive only used 1 key fob. I tried the other key fob the other day and it didnt work so I changed the battery and it still doesnt work. I called the dealership to see if they could fix the problem since it was broken since I bought the car. One person says It probably needs to be reprogrammed since it set on the lot for so long with a dead battery. It will cost about $150. I asked to speak to a manager. Transferred and left a message. Called back later on and asked to speak to a manager. Transferred and disconnected. Called back a third time and left a message with someone. 3 days later I still have not been called back. I dont want much. I just want what I paid for and thats not a key that takes 5 mins to program thats going to cost me $150.Update.A week after I posted the review above a manager finally called me. He said he would “get to the bottom of it and we would figure something out.” I’ve tried multiple times to reach a manager since then with no luck. I got in touch with the parts dept and she said she personally put a note on the managers desk to call me. Still haven’t heard from anyone. This place is a joke. I promise you if they have a car you want just keep shopping until you find it somewhere else. Freaking pathetic. I’m sure Mr. Benson didn’t build his empire by having trash managers like this place. Entitled grandkids that don’t know how to run a business. Smh can’t get any honest deal these days
My service experience at Walker Acura was a very positive one. Everyone was nice, welcoming, and professional. I was given a thorough breakdown of the detailing and offered a shuttle ride to wherever I wanted to go in the city while I waited on a repair (I chose Lakeside Mall). Overall a great experience, highly recommend John and the rest of the team.
I was pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service. I work for a dealership, so for me to say that, it means something. My vehicle was picked up and a courtesy vehicle was dropped off at my work and delivered back to me. I live 2 hours from the dealership in Mississippi. I purchased my vehicle back in May of 2018. I had Mike for a sales rep., and he made sure that the process was smooth and easy. David in Finance has been a huge help with many things that have come up after the fact. Walker Acura takes care of their sales customers in a very professional manor.
I drove from Jackson, MS to Walker to buy my new Acura due to the phenomenal price and the the lack of the typical car buying experience. Our salesperson, Wanda Francois, gave me the price I wanted, and there weren’t any hidden fees, or surprises. It was, by far, the most pleasant car buying experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Walker Acura and it’s staff.
Wanda Francois is an awesome salesperson. We visited this location three times and worked with Wanda each time. We got the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted. She is polite and thorough. I would definitely recommend her and Walker Acura for your sales needs.
This place price gouges like nobodys business. They tried to charge me $1300 for a job that another mechanic did for $350. On top of that, they never told me about a diagnostic fee until AFTER they had looked at my car. When I disputed the charge, they told me they had talked to me about it, which was not true. Upon further investigation, I found that they have had multiple complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau, but they never respond to the complaints. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else. They are dishonest and want to take advantage of you in any way they can.
I cannot thank Michael Potter enough for making my new car purchase effortless. i absolutely hate dealing with new car purchases. I was in and out with in two hours and that included my test drive and initial visit. no stress no bologna. Truly appreciated everything.
There was a code that needed to be reset on the radio and this was not done before I drove off. I called back and they said I had to come back to have it reset and there would be a $20 fee. I told them I was not paying the fee and they backed off.I drive back over there only to discover “the code” was on the side of my glove compartment and they could have told me where to look over the phone. Moral of the story...Know your products!
I dont usually write 5 star reviews, but the people at Walker Acura earned it today. After researching several cars available in the model we wanted, we visited 3 dealerships. We had a fair trade amount in mind. The first 2 dealerships wasted our time, and insulted our intelligence and car knowledge. We should have gone to Walker FIRST! Carlos was real, no salesman hype, no pressure. His appraiser knew the exact rarity and value of the car we wanted to trade. Within a half hour of arriving, we had agreed on a deal and were writing up the papers. Walker had a great price on the car we were buying and gave us exactly what we asked for our trade, without any hassle. Financing was smooth as glass, they even got us a lower rate than expected. Walker will have all of our car business from now on!!
Our salesmen was James Mc Clinton. After a little negotiating we were able to get the price we wanted. Go see James if your in need of a new Acura or looking for a good used car. Tell him Rocco sent you. Wont get you a better deal but he will know your ready to negotiate. 😊
Went in for a recall that was supposed to last 40 minutes. They ran into an issue and ended up doing a complete fluid change on the car for no cost which was amazing! Only reason I wouldnt give a 5 is they never came and told me about the extra time, I had to ask. But other than that great service!
I was pleasantly surprised by my experiences at Walker Acura today. When I went in for my service appointment to have a part replaced, I was warmly welcomed by the man working and he talked me through what would happen. They were very transparent while I was waiting and even washed my car afterwards for free. Also shout to the young woman (reddish/brown hair I think) who checked on my car for me and gave periodic updates, she was very professional and courteous.
Great service advisors and service. I would not go anywhere else for your Acura. The waiting room is dated with an old television. They do have water bottles. Although they have coffee, they had no cream or sugar substitute. The chairs are worn . They use to provide snacks and soft drinks, and had a computer for you to use, but no more. I think they should make waiting for your car a better experience .
I set my appointment with ease on-line. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately and my MDX went directly into a service bay. Service proceeded in an efficient time. I was briefed at least twice while the car was being serviced. After the service, the service manager spoke to me personally, confirming I was satisfied with their service.
Very through with their workmanship and John did a good job of explaining the scope and process. Only complaint was that I never received any calls nor updates on status. Overall completely satisfied!!
Called service and was able to get an appointment same day. The staff was friendly and replaced my battery since my vehicle was still within the factory warranty period. Veranda pleased there were no surprise charges and I was up and running within a couple of hours.
After a terrible experience with a service rep, I asked to speak to the manager. Patrick the service manager was able the help me with my issue. He was extremely nice and went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied. When I picked up my vehicle Melinda was there and she also went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. She took such great care of me. If all of the staff memeber could have attitudes idea like Patrick and Melinda, it would be the best place service department ever!!
The service person was nice and polite. The problem (AC issue) was fixed at a reasonable price. At other places I’ve been to for repairs they washed the car or at the least, vacuumed it out as a courtesy. They didn’t do any of that. Also, there was a crack in the windshield that wasn’t there when I brought the car but was there when I picked it up.
This was my first time buying a car on my own. Tony and Mark made me feel comfortable and reassure me that the vehicle I am buying is a great choice! They did a wonderful job and I am excited about my new vehicle! Definitely recommend getting your vehicles from Walkers Acura especially from Tony and Mark!
I stopped by Walker Acura on a whim. I really had no intentions of buying an Acura, Wanda changed everything. From the moment I walked into the dealership until I drove away that evening and a brand new 2019 RDX Advanced, Wanda was right by my side. The process was painless and the service is impeccable. Wanda took the time to answer all of my questions and sit in the car and go through the technology with me. She allowed me to actually test drive the car in real life situations. She was patient, kind, efficient, and absolutely professional. I can say without a doubt, if I had not met Wanda when I walked in the door, I would not have purchased a car. I was able to easily schedule my appointment online for routine service. I waited for my car at the dealership and they completed service in a timely manner. Everyone was professional and I was happy with how quickly service was completed. This is exactly what Ive come to expect from Acura.
Their service isn’t warrantied. Meaning if they screw up and mess up my engine then they are not held liable. That is completely ridiculous. Also when I questioned the wear on my brakes where they said they are “green” like new (green like new, yellow worn down, red need to be changed), its been at least 3-4 years since they been changed and now I hear a squeak. There answer was “this tech is kind of lazy. He just eyes them and marks either green or red”. So I asked “Are they good or bad then?” Answer “if he marked green they should be good”.You can imagine the peace of mind they give their customers. Probably won’t go backUpdate 8/8/2018Just lowered my review to one star. The technicians there are really lazy. They fill out the multi point inspection sheet without really inspecting. This time caught them red handed. I had personally changed out the cabin air filter just 3 days before and they “inspected” it as change soon. Cabin air filters should be changed out every year. Depending on how much the car is used. This time I’m definitely not going back. I also forgot to mention that during one of my previous visits one of my floor mats went missing. Never found and Acura did not replace.

Although I didnt have an appointment my service rep was able to fit me in for a routine service. They completed the entire process in a reasonable amount of time. My service rep was very helpful as he provided some service history I needed.
Walker Acura has a great service department and has always worked hard to repair my vehicle quickly. The dealership could improve the customer work/waiting area chairs and desk and the wireless is pretty slow. Just some things to make it easier for a remote worker to spend time while vehicle is being repaired

Poor customer service. I left my car for almost two days. I never received a phone call informing me what’s going on with my vehicle. So after repeatedly calling and getting the response that I would get call a back which never happened. I decided to show up and asked to speak with (Dominick) the service manager. His response was short and dismissive. At no time did he empathize or apologize. You would think with a brand like Acura they would have higher standards. Someone should advise Dominick on how to conduct himself as a manager. I love my Acura but I will no longer get it serviced at this Acura of New Orleans location.
The visit was pleasant, and the staff was extremely courteous and professional. The cost of replacing window trim was reasonable. Plus they did other work that the car needed at no extra charge.

My car flooded in Baton Rouge and I found just the perfect car for me at Walker Acura. Carlos Padilla called me to setup an appt, we test drove the car and then we made a deal!!! I drove off in my new car!!! I couldnt believe it, the finance part with the manager, David, was a breeze! I recommend this dealership and this salesman. GO SEE CARLOS!!! If I could give 0 stars I would! This place has some of the worst service I have ever seen! We have been working with them on an issue with a door lock since April and it is STILL not fixed!!! Supposedly brand new parts keep arriving “defective”. Seriously? Pretty sure it’s incompetence and not defective parts! You can’t even call and speak to the same person twice. STEER CLEAR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Service was great. They fitted me in at the last minute on a Friday. They kept me informed on what was being done and they were very courteous.
I had my car in for a routine service. Everyone was polite, Professional and efficient. I waited for my vehicle at the dealership and they completed the service in a timely manner. There were no problems with my experience.
Everyone there is friendly and courteous towards the customer. The staff was very knowledgeable about their job and would answer any questions I had. I do recommend walker Acura if your looking to by a new car.
I just bought a pre owned vehicle from them and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The entire team from my sales rep to the finance department went out of there way to help me get the vehicle I needed for my family. It was a great experience!! 10/10

My experience was horrible. The service was horrible, the service manager was horrible. I brought my car in for a oil change. I leave off the lot and almost got in a accident because they forgot to screw the engine cover back on. I drove my car back to walker acura, and the customer service was horrible, no one apologize for the inconvenience. Service was horrible.I WOULD NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THAT CAR LOT AGAIN. NOT EVEN FOR A OIL CHANGE. I never experienced this kind of customer service when Miguel was there!!! Horrible service! They get No Star!! Not worth one star.
The people at Walker Acura were fantastic. The dealership is lovely and I am very appreciative of the fine service. In Michigan Adam Lewis was my sales person, and he was very professional, personable, and the whole experience was very satisfactory.
I was told I would be kept up to date on the status of my car, I never received a call. When I called to check on the vehicle, I couldnt get anyone to answer. I physically had to go to the dealership to find out the issue. Then I was told the vehicle would be washed and vacuumed and it wasnt . I was very disappointed with the customer service. My other issue isnt customer service, but to be charged over $40 dollars to replace wiper inserts is a little ridiculous. I just feel like a place that once had top notch service has been in the decline. I understand that my vehicle is a Honda, but it was purchased from the Acura dealership and i was told that all my service needs would be met. I will consider going elsewhere in the future.
Although a thorough inspection could not find the underlying issue causing the problem with my vehicle the experience was still a positive one due to the explanations and over all customer service given. Don actually cared about the issue and even though no real solution was able to be given the experience was a good one. I would recommend don and his team any day.
Personnel were very courteous and didn’t leave me in the dark. They treated me as if they wanted me to come back, which I will. The video they sent to my phone while I was waiting was very informative as to what type of condition my car is in. I don’t normally write reviews but for Walker Acura I had to do this. The’re Great! The reason for 4 stars vice 5 is because they forgot to wash my car. No big deal - It was already clean.
Ive had a repeated issue with my 2015 Acura TLX for the past few months. Each time I was provided a loaner so I could continue to work which I appreciate. This time they changed the battery. The service advisor was kind & understanding. Though I am not completely reassure the problem is fixed I am sure it will be resolved even if that means trading my car...
I went in for some warranty work that was only suppose to take a short time. 3 hrs later I finally got to leave only because I happened to ask how much longer it was going to take. The key to my car was left on someone’s desk without them knowing so no one told me my car was ready. I had to occupy a 3yr old the entire time in the waiting area that no longer has an area for children, it was being used for applications. This was my second time having my car at this service center, the first time they wrecked it cleaning it. Now I understand why I was told to go to a Baton Rouge Acura from the place I bought my car from.
I was in search of a Mini Cooper with a manual transmission and Walker Acura just happened to have one available. I inquired about it and Tony called me back very fast! Although working at an Acura dealership, he knew a good bit of information about the Mini Cooper.The day before arriving, tony called to confirm our appointment which had honestly slipped my mind so I am thankful he reminded me. The transaction went smooth and everyone at Walker Acura made me feel welcome. This is my first purchase from Walker Acura and it wont be my last.
