I went here with a coupon sent to me directly from my college for a “Suit Up” event offering 30% off, read the exclusions and email saying this was for attire including belts, dresses, jackets, blouses, scarfs, and so much more, with no brand specifications listed. I also had friends use this coupon with no issue. Found a decent amount of clothes, waited in a long line, then the sales associate said the coupon wasn’t working for her so she called someone over. She was very nice, but had no idea about the coupon, no worries not her fault. After waiting for another while, management finally came and I was told coupon was probably only for certain brands. I stated that the exclusions did not state this and she agreed it would not say this. She also said it was probably for more professional attire than I got. I only had blouses and sweaters. As someone who does not shop here regularly, I came only to use a coupon that should have been honored with proof of the coupon and email attached, but was offered nothing but a credit card to save, and apparently teacher attire is not “professional.” The amount really wasn’t the problem, but the principle that I waited, was nice and patient, and was even agreed with the coupon terms were not specific. Not only was I made to feel like my attire was not “professional enough,” but was made to feel like I should have known what a store associate did not even know. Was it really that hard to honor a 30% off coupon? Or even offer 5-10% for the amount of trouble it took?

Loved it! I exchanged Promise Vows after he bought me a Promise Ring from J.C. Penny. It was romantic and spontaneous! We both would do it all over again.

Great Selection of both mens and womans clothing, and there were really good sales going on. Downside was longer lines, but I never saw an employee not working, they were all busy helping to keep things moving!

To the young sales girl at Sephora: You asked me if I needed help. I answered and told you yes. Told you what I was looking for. You pointed and said you had other items over there. And then, you disappeared. Im sorry that I wasnt dressed my best and was looking horrible. You judged me for that. Didnt want you wait on me. Its ok though. I went to Ulta Beauty and they were more than willing to help me. So much so that I spent $300 in their store. SO THANK YOU !! THANK YOU FOR IGNORING ME AND WALKING AWAY. Ive found a place that didnt judge me and welcomed me to come back !!!

I would give no stars if I could. I placed an order online for in-store pick-up. I was unable to get to the store in time to pick up my order, so I assumed my order would be refunded. Instead, I receive an email saying Thank you for picking up your order. No refund to be found. I called the customer service number and they say the store must handle it. So I call the store and no one will pick up the phone in any department, not even an operator. I called customer service back and they said someone from the store will contact me within 48 hours...well see if that happens, but I have my doubts. Thank goodness its only an item under $20.

The worst you think with the pandemic they would have more than one dress room. We not practicing social distance at all!

One dressing room with 3 stalls open. If you had something from upstairs....you had to go downstairs to try on. Wont be back anytime soon!! Not to mention 2 registers open with 10 people in line.

Just and old store and looks like it. Was dark in spots and much warmer than the mall itself. Actually was pretty hot in there on my visit. Its JCPenney...the same store with the same stuff for years but its reliable..usually.

The most unprofessional lazy Sales Associate in the store I was shopping in the Sephora dept with a gift card. After swiping the card several times it did not work. She told me to put the #s on the back of the card still no success.All the while she was leaning on the register without any assistance.I asked her to call another Associate to complete the sales transaction.Guess What the New Sales Associate told her she should have put the pin # which was on the back of the under the scratch off.Real simple if she would have done her job.LAZY very unprofessional I also had another purchase.of $87.36 charged to my credit card. She definitely needs more training. Not a happy Customer.

JCP Always have what I need

I had a wonderful experience at the Lakeside location. Miss Candis in the jewelry department is fantastic. She was working alone on today. She was with a customer when I arrived, she greeted me and let me know she would be with me shortly. I had a return and a purchase. Miss Candis took care of the refund and assisted with my purchase. She took her time and did not rush me considering there were several customers waiting for service. She made sure I was pleased with my selection and offered other services. Miss Candis was very polite, professional and courteous. I look forward to my next shopping experience. Hope to see Miss Candis again!💯👏

I cant say anything bad about JCPenney. From 2006 to 2012 I used to work at JcPenney as a clerk who checked in items customers needed to put on hold. In between the check ins and outs, I had to straighten up aisles close to my area. I made some good friends with the guys I worked with and the managers. JCPenney is located in the Lakeside Shopping Mall, one block off of Veterans. I still go to Lakeside, even though I have not worked at JCPenney in 8 years.

JC Penney Lakeside is still kicking. Be safe shopping!

This is the other best place to buy. Especially during holiday. We love holiday, we love sale. But we should learn to handle our money and manage it.

Went in and the store was quite crowded. The stock was good quality and displayed neatly organized at fair prices. The floor staff and register personnel were too few though they were knowledgeable and courteous.

I went to pick up an online order that was ordred the day before because it didnt give the the option to ship. When I got there it wasnt ready yet, and then I left and 10 minutes later got an email that it was ready. I dont know if and when I will be able to make it back there. If they had checked on it for me I woukd have waited.
