Very limited space to move. Difficult to get around other people. Set up is similar to Stratam, NH, except the entrance/exit doors are backwards from all other Market Baskets I have visited. Selection is okay, though the 🍨 ice-cream section is picked through. Limited selection of frozen and refrigerated goods.RedBOX BOX and glass/plastic recycling machine available.Good service. If you are fully vaccinated, you dont need to wear a face mask.

One of the newer Market Basket stores in Salem, New Hampshire. Very large store, lots of space between aisles, excellent food items. Always can find anything youre looking for in this store. We visit the store frequently. Love it!

Took time off work my own ATO if you fall ir anything happens go straight to attorney court whatever it is no one ever reached out! Staff is friendly but this is the worst market basket Ive been to. Always out of normal things other market baskets have . Dirty unorganized produce and seafood awful. Went by there today had a price for lobster at $11 a pound one lobster in the tank seafood/fish is prepackaged from some place else looked a week old.

It gets 5 stars because the prices are the lowest in the area, and on top of that, they treat their employees very well. I am very impressed with the company. Customer service is excellent as well. I will say that this location is smaller than others Ive been to, and, therefore has a smaller selection. The size is obvious just driving by, but I had hoped it would magically be bigger than it looked. It is not. It seemed less crowded than other locations at a similar time of day, so that was a big plus. I will definitely keep this location in mind for when I have to pick things up at a peak time. Another feature I do really like is that regardless of which location I go to, items are set up in a similar order. This is useful, because I make my shopping list in the order of the stores layout, to prevent backtracking.

Thank you MB! 5 stars!This market basket when it comes to quality of fruits and vegetables, its the lowest quality as well as catering for international foods, they dont have much you are better off going to the Market basket in Haverhill( Westgate) or Salem,NH. I feel like they do not have alot of things that other market baskets have and its like they get 3rd selection on everything. I hope the Methuen market baskets will get upgraded both of them are too small and have the old fashion look and goods

The best selection and best prices for all your grocery needs. The produce is always fresh and the meats and fish are top quality.You can also find a large selection of organic foods here. The staff are the friendliest you will find anywhere, they proudly show their length of service on their name tags. This place beats most any other grocery store hands down.

I typically shop in the larger stores so this store was considerably smaller. Although small, they stored all the items we needed except cucumbers. They had a nice variety of salads. They also had seafood. The conveyer belt was smaller too. Overall, the store is fine.

Not particularly fond of store to start with due to its size but it is the most convenient in the area. Most Market Baskets will usually have friendly and respectful service, today was different. A group of 5-6 male workers were working the frozen department and were mocking, talking trash to one another and using vulgar language. It was not what you expect from employees from Market Baskets. Next time I will drive the extra 15-20 minutes to go to the NH ones.

This is my favorite market basket location in the Merrimack Valley. It’s a super small store, and it doesn’t have a bakery, but the staff is really nice and the produce is always super fresh! I make a point to go to the store over other larger market baskets, it’s simply my favorite!

Good prices and wonderful staff. These stores are so popular, though, that theyre always super crowded and hard to maneuver with a cart. I like that I can have my groceries packed in a box versus bags for much easier transport into the house

Employees are rude and never know what or where things are. Alot of groceries are always out of stock, or they dont sell it when all other market baskets do. Things are always moved around and never in the place they are supposed to.

Very long EXPRESS line with only 2 other cashiers open. Cashier in express line made the comment I am not rushing no matter how many people are in line. I am not going to get anxiety . So to pick up a can of coffee, I would say minimum of 15 minutes in line. Not so good

Why shop here when you have a cheaper Stop & Shop a stones throw away with better variety and better service? Yes, when you stock up on sale items, Stop & Shop is cheaper. I also have to buy more name brand items when I shop here due to the low quality of store brand items. I think even Target has a better variety of groceries than this MB, and this MB location does not have some products that are in the sales flyer too.

Know what I like about this place beyond the fact that everyone is so friendly?... I like the size of the place. Not too big, not too small. The huge stores are nice when youre looking for something special but when you need to do some quick shopping on the way home from work, this is what you want. Shop on a Tuesday for the freshest veggies. Thats when they get their delivery.

Nice people very helpful but store to small sometimes you get what you want sometimes you dont a lot of out of stock. Meat selection good produce not good at all not fresh and spraying the veggies only adds water to the weight. Overall not good but not all bad either.

I love my hometown MB...but dang this one, 6employees walked right by me as Im looking at the tip top shelf and even said excuse me to 2of them& nothing! NO HELP.. I dont think I could have been any more noticeable as Im debating to step on bottom shelf to climb up! UGH Just BS...Got me thinking of the elderly and little people!

I personally like market basket, but this one in Methuen being package, to many people shopping. It will be good idea to open another one in this area.

I always shop here they have the best prices. And everything I need. The only complaint I have is that theres no Wi-Fi. And the signal in the store drops to nothing 10 steps into the store. If u have to use your phone for anything you have to run to the front of the store

This Methuen location is the worst store with some of the most inconsiderate people (both customers and workers). The aisles are so narrow that you cant have someone with a cart and someone walking with a basket pass by each other. Some workers often dont try to get out of your way (which I do understand to a degree because they are pressed for time when its busy). Outside vendors almost never get out of your way. Other customers sometimes completely ignore you and the fact that youre stuck behind them. BUT NOT ALL WORKERS AND NOT ALL CUSTOMERS. I need to make it clear that not everyone is like this because a lot of customers realize that were all in this dump together and we need to cooperate. And Ive had nothing but good experiences with the workers in the front end.This store has the worst selection of products in their chain. Their slogan more for your dollar only applies if youre buying their inferior store brand items, otherwise almost everything else is similar in price to other stores, except for sales items which other stores always beat.This summer I bought some great-looking marinated boneless steak. Delicious but a little rubbery. More importantly there was something like a small piece of bone that I couldnt see when I bit into it. Got wedged between two of my teeth, causing one to crack. I lost half the tooth.

I went here today. It is conveniently located right near the loop and off of 213. The parking is never full and the lines and not too long. There is a great variety of all types of food from a variety of backgrounds. The reason why I give it a 4 is due to the young cashiers who lack professionalism. Also, the staffs lack of product knowledge in the store. I asked for something and was told they dont sell it but yet 5 minutes later I found it in the store.

Its very very nice. The people are very friendly and smiley and thats both customers and employees also its organized, clean and easy to find what you need not every market basket has the same thing so you need to figure out which MB is go for you to go to but I like them all

Love buying lobster tails. Got everything I needed. Only problem was some of the chicken had a really bad oder to it. I spoke to a employee and he went right away to check it out. While going to wash my hands, I saw a manager and he immediately went and pulled that product product from the Shelf.

Too crowded. People always return from food shopping to find their car dented from people leaving carts where ever they please and dents marks on vehicles.

This market basket is in desperate need of a makeover, no bakery for starters, I almost always have to go next door to stop n shop to finish my shopping list, and the entrance is screwed up(entrance door is on the left instead of the standard right) and you have to walk all the way to the other end of the front to start shopping. Please makeover the methuen market basket it’s a growing town and you will lose customers to competitors.
