UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 2020:Im updating this review to help warn other people. Clayton Moriel was the salesperson on my purchase, and yes, he was great to work with! He was helpful and a wealth of information. However, he was promoted to a GM at another location and I have not been working with him on this purchase since then. This update is intended to reflect the rest of my experience with Palm Harbor Midland.Im unsure if my experience has been what would have happened all along, but Im sharing just in case, so that others can have their eyes wide open. To make it short - the home I received was done with VERY low quality work. Most everything in the house was crooked such as some walls, the front door (as in the actual cut out in the wall), the bar on the island, every outlet and light switch, and the backsplash tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. The list could be a mile long on everything else from the awful paint job, the incorrectly installed trim/baseboards, the bad texture job, and the shoddy carpet work.Its been an entire month since the home was delivered and they still havent managed to get issues corrected. Unfortunately, I will most likely be stuck paying for this house because they already finalized the sale with the mortgage company, even though Ive not signed any paperwork accepting the house.So, despite the great experience during the sale, the rest of the process has been an absolute nightmare. They dont ever answer a question directly, and they will NOT take any responsibility for bad work. Only after this experience did I learn that all of the issues Im having are quite common with this company and their Fort Worth factory (dating back to 2018, so they CANNOT blame COVID). The models on the lot were very well done and were finished beautifully. However, that is NOT what was delivered to my land a month ago.ORIGINAL POST - APRIL 2020:Working with Clayton on my new home purchase has been a sincere joy! He is extremely knowledgeable on the homes at Palm Harbor and very well versed on the offerings and construction of the homes. He is thorough in the process of purchasing every step of the way and truly patient and kind with all questions and concerns. Clayton is very friendly, open, and honest. He knows his business and he truly works to know his customers. The homes at Palm Harbor are well constructed and beautifully finished. Definitely recommend stopping by to speak with Clayton and the sales team at Palm Harbor if youre looking for a new home.

Been trying to get this corrected through them for over a yr now. So needless to say the ones that have their name on ownership dont want to sign over my homes. All i get is spend more money and will speak to vp yet nothing has been done. Dont recommend this place watch ur paperwork

I recently started looking for a new home and decided to look at Palm Harbor. That’s when I met Clay, he’s super sweet, hard-working and dedicated to helping his clients find the home of their dreams. Not only will I return but I will make sure to refer family and friends to Clay at Palm Harbor.

Let me start off by saying Clayton was amazing he was the only good thing about dealing with palm harbor he was so friendly so helpful I was quite picky in picking a home an he was patient an helped me find a home we loved he was part of the reason we chose to go with palm harbor that an we “thought” Palm Harbor had the best quality home Well we were so so wrong. The house gets here an there are things that are different than what we chose( wall color they shorted us two cabinets etc)oh an the plumbing was done wrong so when I started my washer water went everywhere an than we start walking through the home there are tiny little holes all over my counter tops my trim my doorways my cabinets my bathroom mirrors they say they are the tiny nails used to build the home well u can’t see the nail u just see very visable holes everywhere an than there are chips in the paint everywhere in the walls in the cabinets in the doors in the Mirrors in the bathroom the trim the doorways etc literally everywhere it’s a joke almost none of the trim actually lines up the barn doors In the game room are so crooked they don’t even shut an it looks like someone took a fork to them an just scraped them all up there is paint all over the floor in every single room there were nails sticking up in the carpet that u couldn’t see so my kids cut there feet twice by stepping on themI put some shampoos conditioner an body washes on a shelf in the closet by the bathroom not very many maybe 12 an the shelf fell to the floorAlmost all the handles on the cabinets an drawers are crookedWe paid 174k for this house a house that was supposed to be brand spanken new an it’s a joke so many things wrong with it it was just very poorly built the thermostat didnt even work on the brand new home they had to replace with an old school dialI wouldn’t recommend palm harbor to anyone Clayton was an amazing salesperson Jennifer at the Abilene palm harbor has been helpful with all the issues we have had Helping me contact whirlpool on my stove because they can’t fix it they say they have no part in that it’s been 6 days an they still say they don’t know when they can come out to look at my stove an again nothing palm harbor can do nothing has been fixed nothing has been done this house is a joke I can’t post all the pics on this review which is annoying because people should knowI am so very disappointed we paid way to much money on this house for it to be having all these problems not even a month in it

We had tried different places in getting our home and no luck. I was referred to Palm Harbor and spoke to Estella Galindo. She worked with us through the process and finally we were able to purchase our home. She was very helpful and patient.

The people are great, very polite and perfectly pleasant. However the porches that they build on the homes are horrible. I have lived in my home a few years and the porch is falling apart. The cabinets are really thin and fragile, two of the doors have just fallen off. The tub we had broke just 2 days after the warranty. I wanted to really like this company because of the people but the quality is just not there.

Estela Galindo was my salesperson and was absolutely wonderful!. Shes very informative, sweet and had patience with us through the entire process. I totally recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home :)

I dealt with Rich Gregg. He was not pushy at all and has a ton of experience with different homes. My life circumstances changed and when I needed a refund on the earnest contract I was granted it with no questions asked just like he said. I was a bit nervous about putting down a thousand bucks but he stuck by his word.

I contacted Palm Harbor on behalf of my warranty and they pointed me in the right direction within a 10 minute phone call. Please make sure and utilize there staff with any question or concern you may have. They are saving me 650$!!!! Thank you Richard & Jeff
