I have been a customer of Firestone for many year and I am always pleased with their work and the customer service never disappoints Today a holiday I had a flat tire late in the day with my dog in the car they not only accommodated my dog and I they made her feel so special and loved. They totally to care of me it’s the best service by far I have ever experienced not only at Firestone but any retail store I have ever been to. They are my new go to location for any of my car needs. If you want honesty morals and the best customer care around Firestone Milford is the place to be.
Very good experience here. My family and I had a vehicle emergency while traveling. Our brake caught fire to a small extent due to work done elsewhere. A mistake that could have been fatal. We came here first, late in the day, while they were extensively busy. They didn’t have the bays or mechanics for us. However, they took time to look into the issue as best they could, talk with us, and reached out to other local mechanics to get us squared away. It was a kindness not overlooked and appreciated greatly amid a bad situation.

Very slow service despite wonderful staff. Came in for an oil change and was told that they were very busy, invited to make an appointment the following day. On time (actually, early) for my appointment, yet still waited 3 hours on site for my oil to be changed. No clear explanation for what the delay was, but it definitely shouldn’t have taken as long. Only 4 other customers came to pick up cars in the time I was waiting, and 3 dropped off.Willing to try again. Staff is very nice, but the wait time is unbearable. Plan to drop off your car and pick up the following day if at all possible.
Stay away from them there liar and thieves. They damaged all four of my wheels and denied it. Scammers.
I made an appointment well a week in advance. Gotta say they got me right in and am extremely happy with the speed and quality of the work. Got new tires and an alignment. * My jeep is hard to allign and they get it as close to perfect as possible. While there, I was baffled at other customers that came in with air lights on (hint add more air) and with flats (if you cant change a tire, you shouldnt drive). Even though the staff was super busy, they helped all these lost causes. I was impressed. Highly recommend, but seriously make an appointment. Thank you to the crew that worked today, GREAT JOB!!!!
This place saved the day for us! Traveling home from NC to NH after 12 hours on the road a tire went really bad. Everyone else in this town turned us away because it was 5 oclock, but not Firestone! Johnnie was awesome and got us right in with a matching tire and we were on our way in less than an hour. Way to go guys. If you live in this town this is the place to go for service and friendly people. We made it home with the kids safe and sound! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Good place for some basic car care. I came here for a new battery. Luke was very helpful and friendly. Their prices for the battery were good. I cannot speak for the quality of their work as they did not touch my car.

I have been going nearly 2 years to this store until today’s decision to stop going there.Although I wanted to take an appointment two days ago they insistently told me to drop it off and I did what they told me and After waited more than three hours I went to the store again.When I came to the store back I was shocked since nothing was happened to my carFirestone, if you’re very very busy please don’t tell anybody to drop the car off please invite to another day.I’m no longer a regular customer of your store.I thinkIf Nelson was over there, I wouldn’t be faced this kind of problem.
Got a alignment after i installed new tie rods. They fixed the toe angle but they forgot two bolts for the control arms that the shop forgot. Now the car is pulling to the right. Rather go to a shop that spends a few hours and a test drive. This technician spent 10 minutes and no test drive at fire stone

Im actually sitting in the waiting room right now, and the service has been so good that I feel the need to post before I leave. I came in because I hit a curb and had a flat. I was about 10 min late to my appointment, which they were very gracious about. They looked over the flat to see if it could be repaired, which it wasnt. They had the exact same tire as my other 3 in stock, and told me I could just replace the one since the tread on my other tires was more than 50%. I feel like if I had brought it to the dealership they would have pressured me into buying 4 new tires, or any other mechanic for that matter. They said theyd be done in about 30 minutes. Will definitely be back with any other tire needs!! Highly recommend!!
Firestone is quite a nice place. Sometimes a little high on prices but they will compare sometimes to other places. The main thing is theyre opened pretty much more so than any other auto shop. On a Sunday with a flat tire or something wrong they can actually fix it or a temporary fix. There really is no other place to bring your vehicle in this area. They could beat you up on the price being it is a Sunday but they keep to their normal price. They did compare prices for set of Bridgestone for me which was quite reasonable..
I am new to the area and have used Firestone (Milford) three times for general service, tires/alignment and most recently an exhaust system. I am very happy with the work performed and the customer service. My advisor Aldo was great as was Chris and the rest of the staff.I highly recommend!

Had my car serviced in Oct. 2018. I was happy. Fast forward to 5/1/2019 and I have grinding noises coming from brakes serviced in 10/2018. Under warranty right? Wrong! Now I have $980.00 worth of brake work needed! No way went to another service chain $750.00 out the door all work done IF needed. Never again. Rude, condescending, and just mean. Firestone in Milford rips women off!
As usual the service was friendly. Everything explained and shown to me. I was told repair would take 2 hours. It took 90 minutes. Ive been going there for all my car repairs and it is always the same.
I went in for Emissions Inspection (9am Milford) and was told it would be around 40 minutes. So I got comfortable on one of the sofas & I started in on my breakfast (sandwich & hot tea).They called my name and said my inspection was done. I said it was only 20 minutes. He smiled and said yes it was! Love that place.
Was extremely broke but my Honda needed an oil change.Nelson really bent over backwards to make sure I was well taken care of plus gave me a great deal too. Nice to be able to eat something other then ramen this week!When its time for more work to be done Ill be back.
My girlfriend and I were returning from our trip from SC when our car suddenly started making a horrible squeaking sound. We navigated to the nearest shop and Firestone happened to be our destination. We were nervous about getting our car looked at so close to closing time but Nelson offered excellent customer service and got us in as soon as possible. In addition the crew worked over time so that we could get home back to Maine. We will be forever grateful for their quality honest service these guys had to offer. I would recommend them to anybody!
They were so nice all I needed was air in my tires. They filled them up and did not even charge me. Treated me with respect. When I do need tires I will go there.
Our alternator failed on an early Saturday morning on i95. We were treated well and an assessment was made within a half hour. The price was good for the repair, and the work was done in a hour. They saved our vacation, and made us believe good service is still possible. Thanks!

Just like any other repair facility. Free Tire Rotation means theyre looking to sell you new brakes while the tires are off. Its a business, we get it but prices are astronomical! Free Tire Pressure Checks help with their car count (corporate likes to see high numbers) and it opens an opportunity to build a rapport for selling NEW tires.

I told them about a noise I was hearing in my front end when going over bumps and they did an inspection of the suspension and steering components, at no additional charge, and informed me of the situation, which was nothing serious, putting my mind at ease.That and a set of 4 new tires at a reasonable cost done in a reasonable time has me a happy camper.
They were very helpful. I received over $150.00 in discounts, mostly because they took pity on me because of my age, haha. Seriously, they did a great job, aligned the front end and put new tires on. They also put my old tires in plastic bags so as to not dirty the interior of mySUV. And they finished when they said they would.
The staff was very accommodating, positive, and easy to work with. We called at 11:00 and were able to secure and appointment at 1:00. The customer service representative was easy to understand and the repairs went smoothly. The tire replacement and rotation was completed within one hour.
Nelson was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating over a two day period of work on both my car and my husbands. The prices may not always be the cheapest in the area, but they are certainly fair and come with the biggest benefit of being able to have work done on the weekends. Nelson explained everything thoroughly in person and by phone of what was needed and being done, and both cars were completed in the times promised. He also took the time to really listen to the issues I was having with my car and explain how they could try to diagnose the problems which other places had ignored. Service is top notch compared to many shops I have been to. My husband has had consistently good experiences using them over the past couple of years, especially with his tires and the warranty they provide. I will now be using them from this point on too. I would highly recommend this location!

Been there twice so far, told there mechanic to call me when he put my car up on the lift do I could evidence what might need to be done, he did so and provided the exact service needed, I tipped him 20$ for being forthright.

Gary the manager was able to find that special part for my van it was a part from California Warehouse he got it and I was back on the road . Im really satisfied with the care and service I got at Firestone Gary is really caring for the customer service I will definitely go back there with all my other vehicles . Thanks again Gary.
They cant programs any kind of key chip or FAB, also always they will replace more things even you dont need to replace it because they want charge you more and make sure your car will be good. Like a bad doctors replace your both kidneys and you need to replace only one. just for more work more money.

I had a nail in my tire, it wasn’t fixable. The salesmen quickly told me that it would cost me $750 to change all 4, whitout asking my preferences.I requested a quote for 2 tires instead, they wouldn’t even match their website prices. And told me how terrible my pick was, without a compelling reason. Then why are they selling the tires if it’s that bad?Totally felt like a bait and switch scam, I can’t imagine what they would suggest for mechanical problems.I went across the street and they matched the cheapest price online. Stay far away!

Firestone is a huge rip off. I’ve learned my lesson the hard way - Better off going to a locally owned shop or I’ve had great luck at Monroe up the street.

I take my truck here for service and its been running like a top for awhile they are quick and tell you what needs to be done rather then a bunch of useless things they break down all the costs to you before you agree to anything and when i got my truck my brakes were pretty much rusted together they hammered away on my assembles for an hour to get them apart I heard it lol

Guy was a as***** . My issue is that I already just got an alignment from another shop, Asked to do only camber alignment, and what’s the price on just the camber alignment and I didn’t get to finish my sentence asking.. he does “ all types of alignments” in one deal all at once. Then questioned if my car even has a camber adjustment in a cocky attitude ( which does ) . Guy wasn’t interested in scheduling a day or anything he just said bring it Saturday morning and we’ll call when it’s done. such BAD customer service.

This was the worst firestone ever experienced. I had a ignition coil problem fixed by them 3 months back and started having same problem now. They asked me come back since those are under warranty, then they fixed it telling me that warranty covers for coil 4 not for coil 3 and ask me to pay $500. I already paid $500 for coil 4 fix, now again $500 for this and the car only has 60000 miles on it. This is insane.
I have used this Firestone in Milford for many years. I have purchased tires, emissions, etc for personal vehicles as well as business vehicles. This past Friday I needed two tires on my car. I was told 1 hr 15 min. 2.25 hrs later I walked outside to the bay to see the tires finally being installed. One of the mechanics ask if they could help me and I said I was just waiting for my car pointing to it. He went over to the guy taking of the old tires and putting the new ones on, came back to me and said one of the rims was badly bent and if put it on the front as I asked, there would be a vibration. I said well maybe we should put the rim on the back tire. That would cost more because they would have to change rims. Due to time I said put it on the front. Driving away there was a horrible vibration. When I got home I decided to change the tire/rim to the back because it was impossible to drive with it in front. When I took the tire off I could clearly see the damage to the rim. Even with the rim in back the vibration in the car now present, was never there before. I had three different mechanics look at the rim and they all said the damage was definitely from the machine used to remove the old tire and install the new one. BTW the car had been worked on 3 days prior, with this rim removed. At that time there was no evidence of damage. Today I went back to the store, ask the gentlemen in the front to step outside as I did not want to have the conversation in front of customers. I told him the vibration, even with the rim on the back, was so bad that the rear view mirror vibrated, which never happened before. All I got was that there was no way they could have done the damage. Being in business for myself, when someone is so quick to deny without even considering the possibility of it being caused by the tire exchange on the rim, most always means guilt. The force to cause that extensive damage to the rim would most certainly have at least caused the tire to go flat if it happened as they explained. The pounds per square inch applied by the machine used to remove and install tires on the rim far exceeds the force needed to cause this damage. I am the only driver of the car so I certainly would remember something like that. Logically if they saw the rim was bent, would they not have come and told me with the old tire still on to show it was there before they touched it? I then was told that putting the new tire on would accentuate the bend increasing the vibration. A new tire has more rubber, which is more pliable. This would actually have the reverse affect and absorb more of the abnormality decreasing the vibration. Honestly there was NO vibration before having these new tires installed. I gave them the chance to prove to me that it could not happen in their shop and all I got was, could of, should of, would of. A new rim is $100.00. They could have kept a loyal 5+ year customer who has spent thousands of dollars in their store, by simply stepping up. . Instead they lost one and ended up with a bad review. Caveat Emptor!
I came here to have my mazdas tires aligned when the dealership said their machines were mysteriously out of order and promised to call me back. they didnt. i called firestone and received prompt service even on a last-minute sunday appointment. i go here too for my emissions and theyve always been helpful and pleasant.

Went in and had the exhaust manifold replaced they had my car for two days although the first day I kept getting it will be ready in an hour then two then one etc needless to say two full days finally got my car back. The car was loosing power when I left they went to my house picked it up said they calim it was fixed after having it again for two days and guess what not fixed. My car has been there several times and still cant find the problem. Going back to my mechanic Dan Cortigiano in Fairfield he is the best and doesnt rip you off. Only went to Firestone because of it being convienent well guess what turned into one big inconvience.

The techs did not perform the tire rotation until told them it was not done, some of my plastic lug nut caps fell off while driving it from the garage to the front, my oil was a quart short, a rag was left under my hood, and while I cannot verify this, based on the price I paid and the manager not being aware of the oil difference, they did not use the 507.00 oil speced out for my car.

Really bad experience. The manager, Matt, was extremely rude and was cursing at customers. I havent seen such an unprofessional treatment of customers in a long time. I will not go back until the current management is changed.
