I have been shopping here for 23 years I can’t believe I have not left a review yet. First off, the staff for all 23 years has been incredible! In addition the Cub Foods leadership team has been involved with the community for a long time. Pricing is good and the staff is great! Give this location a try… It will not disappoint!

Sitting here waiting 15+ minutes to speak with a manager only validates how BAD customer service is at this store. Went to make a small purchase this morning. I use my Visa Debit Card as a credit card (don’t want to use pins in unknown systems. The system required a pin which it shouldn’t so I told the cashier therenwas a problem. She could care less insisting a pin had to be used. I left and went to the 101 location and the exact same purchase went through fine.I guess the St. Louis Park location has 2nd rate technology or maybe poorly trained surly cashiers…my money is on the poorly trained surly cashiers whom seem to be led by an inattentive manager!

They do a nice job of keeping the shelves stocked. Can even get toilet paper 90% of the time (Covid-19 world).Nice deli and hot food bar. Theyll cook you something fresh upon request. Theyve ordered special items to have in-stock for me, items they normally dont carry.

A surprisingly awesome selection from anchovy paste to frozen escargot! This is a wonderful gem in Minnetonka. I’ve even had the butcher order me a pork belly! I could spend hours in each isle looking at all of the different items.If your a foodie, you would be surprised what you can actually find at this specific Cub.

I love my Cub! The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well laid out. I appreciate their customer loyalty program where I dont have to clip coupons.

I typically dont shop at this location since its not as close to home, but I was passing by last night and needed to stop, it was on the way so I ran in quick to get what I needed. The shelves were very well stocked despite a pandemic and the check out clerk I had was incredible. She was an older woman, cant remember her name, but she was quick, efficient, friendly and not letting the new way of ringing people up let her dow . I would come back simply for the interaction I had with her, we need more customer service helpers like her!

Cub foods is great & is similar to Walmart, Lunds, Lidl, Whole Foods, Hyvee & Fresh Thyme. Need food to sustain the factory life of a pallet jack operator for PFGC. Restrooms work as they’re supposed to. I’m out of the loop as far as grocery goes but it seems good enough. As a side note, Jackson Hewitt did my taxes this year. There isn’t any “I scream” effect to visiting cub as there is when shopping at Target. In any case, Cub has everything folks need

If this is cub mtka on 101 five stars. Big gorgeous produce. Fully stocked shelves. Only wish for more plant based burgers, not little sausages, the full sized burgers. If this is cub in Bloomington the only reason to go there is for the plant based burgers two stars for that locstion

I take my sister there weekly. She and my other sister shop there regularly and have for many years. This is new to me and I notice the store has a very large selection of items and fresh meats and good looking produce.

I am updating this review based on conversation with the store manager. We received a call from the store Manager. The situation was dealt with to our satisfaction, and we will continue to shop this store knowing that our service pet is welcome...We have been using this Cub store for several years. My wife has a service dog and we have never had a problem until now. A new lady was appointed shift manager and told my wife that she could not bring her service dog into the store without his vest. Pure BS. She was presented with her ADA card and said too bad. She was a mgr now and they are not welcome. This is forbidden by the Americans Wirh Disabilities Ac . The animal is not required to have a vest. We know the law well. She said it was Cub policy. I confirmed that it was not. I will see that not only does this store apologize, but this lady will get diversity training.

My wife bought two pounds of salmon from this location as a surprise for dinner. We went to cut the filet into servings and found out that the entire filet was not descaled and was not deboned. Disappointing. I dont want to pay a premium to have to work for an hour in my own kitchen.Be sure to double check that any filet you purchase are deboned and descaled.

The Minnetonka staff is always helpful and kind. The store is clean and well organized. The butcher and produce departments are phenomenal...on par with local high end groceries.

Better than the corporate versions, my go to Cub

First, I will say I prefer shopping at Cub Foods over any other grocery store or store with a grocery section.Even 2 years ago I would have given Cub at Hwy 7 & Cry Rd 101 5 stars. But there has been changes in the overall store. However the biggest is the new hours from open 24 hrs (except certain holidays) to only 5 AM to 11 PM. Why 11 & not 12 is a mystery when so many people get off work @ 11.Then, one set of doors are locked 2 hours before closing (used to lock them overnight also). But the 2nd set of doors only open automatically for those Leaving The Store. So, the disabled have to enter thru a set of single doors that open manually. Whats up with that?My biggest complaint is the Organic Produce. Haughty ad boasts about their great produce but theyre obviously only talking about the Conventional kind. More often than not I end up not buying any because of the condition & I dont mean bruises, of the Produce.Another issue I have is when items plainly tagged on sale arent in system & I dont catch it while ringing up. Ive started taking photos of items & their sale tags while shopping so if it rings up wrong, I can show the Cashier. Or, after, go to Customer Service for correcting.The newest frustration is the dropping of (to me) main label items basically to make room for more junk food.To be fair since I did give 4 stars, I will add a few positives. 1 is the place is clean & bright & aisles are easy to get 2 if not 3 carts through if 1 is a small one. Which is #2. The small carts. For #3 I put the employees; cashiers, counter help and floor crew. Theyre friendly & courteous for the most part especially the long timers. Some of the managers are really nice & helpful. They have gone out of their way to help me a couple times that was much appreciated.

Went here for the first time tonight and had the worst customer service experience in the cashier line. Our cashier was so unfriendly and it seemed like she just did not want to be there. Very very snippy and rude. I believe her name was Alyssa. Hopefully she has better days ahead!

This is the best grocery store in the area. This cub is privately owned and is by far superior to Cubs corporate locations. They have the best produce department which blows even Bylerys & Lunds out of the water. They have a nice selection of fresh fish & seafood along with very good cuts of meat with great pricing and weekly specials. I drive an extra 5 miles weekly to shop at this location as the others in the area are corporate run with less selection.. The employees really make an extra effort to help customers. Keep up the good work! Oh geez...I almost forgot to mention that the pharmacy service is exceptional too!

Noticed in the produce department that there are free apples for the kids. A thoughtful gesture, but apples grown and treated with chemicals, unwashed apples, with the stickers still on, are poison for human consumption. Kids should not eat those apples (at least cut the chemically treated peels off).Please give free, organic, washed apples to the kids or not at all. :(

Every store has its ups and downs but Ive generally been very pleased with the service and products at this store. While I agree in principle to the comment about the apples, you can have your kids not eat them if organic is your (smart) choice. One can take the conventional apples into the rest room and wash them in the sink to remove the sticker and handling contamination. They also have free cookies for kids in the bakery and free coffee for adults by the deli counter. I think thats nice even though one could make a similar argument about sugar or caffeine. This Cub branch is very generous in lending their community room at no cost to local groups and are great community citizens in supporting service and kids organizations with fundraising. Thanks, Cub!

The store is fine, except for one thing: the bananas are always way too green. They are inedible until 1-2 weeks later. Thats frustrating.

This Cub was opened in 1984 by Arne Haug. There have been improvements, but the basics are still the same. A clean, well lit store with fresh fruits and vegetables. A great meat department, full service deli and bakery. Employees who are there to serve you. They have weekly deals which you can clip or use Cub Card and get them all without the clipping. They offer fuel rewards with HolidayAnd then there is the community outreach. They support the ICA with pre packaged food donations, and a collection bin. Civic groups will bag groceries for tips, the Girl Scouts sell cookies. They have car washes in the parking lot.This is where I shop.

This store is clean, neat, organized and very well furnished. I love the staff there too.

If you like being overcharged and poor customer service this may be the place for you. Otherwise stay Far away!Looking forward to new Glen Lake grocery store to open.

Not my favorite grocery store, very awkward layout, but it’s the cheapest and most convenient.

Done with this store and done with Cub. Who doesnt staff for a Friday afternoon in the middle of summer when it serms everyone leaves work at Noon? Just.left there and its crazy. The self check out is a royal pain in the b___.as well. Cant get through it once without customer service assistant. Produce today was awful, green peppers look like they had been on a heated trailer for weeks. Couldnt give them away at 50 cents each. To top it off have to have the damn app and a digital coupon to save $10 and service counter wont help you get it if you have issues with it at self checkout. Customer service...NOT!!!
