I am in love with whole foods. It may just be the placebo effect, but organic food for the most part just tastes better. I love milling about to see what new things I can try. Food is the area of my life I am the most open to new experiences and whole foods, more than anywhere else, has made this possible for me to accomplish. Thank you 😊

I usually love Whole Foods and I stopped at this Minnetonka location disappointed to find how short-staffed they were and was not able to find most items I was looking for. I gave five stars because its not Whole Foods fault because they cannot find help and they probably unable to stock their shelves due to circumstances beyond their control. The lines were very long in the customers were rude, entitled and crabby. However when I finally did get up to purchase my items the cashier was very pleasant and efficient working very hard, I only wish I had gotten his name so that I could mention it here because he certainly deserved it under all that pressure. I would never want to work at that location because of the customers are just so entitled I would not want to deal with that.

Great variety of fresh vegetables and good selection of products, friendly staff

I am not a whole foods grocery customer. I used them for an Amazon return. I had never done that before and was frequently frustrated with all the hassle of having to print off return shipping labels, find a box, etc. In the middle of other errands, I was able to swing into the store and go right up to a checkout counter. They scanned my phone, took the item, and I immediately got an email notice that the return was complete. I only use Amazon moderately and do not have prime. I very much appreciate this convenient option for returns.

I must say the Amazon return booth is most convenient. Not sure about the other items there. Not my style.

This Whole Foods has gone way down hill since Bezos bought it. Produce is poor quality if in stock at all. The selection has been reduced. No more fun, interesting items you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Lines are 10 people deep on a Tuesday afternoon. My husband and I shop at the Co-op now.

Great selection of all different kinds of foods. I was amazed. Also they have a liquor store that is second to none...

These guys make the best potato salad. Little expensive but worth the cost as the quality is above par.

Good customer service most of the time I found everything we need.

They have what I need and I trust their quality. The first time they dont deliver Im going to go bat crazy over Amazon and never go there again. Its a fine line.

This place is a bit overpriced for what they offer compared to some of the other high-end grocery stores in the area. Ive also found that sometimes, some of the staff can be rather rude and a bit sniffy if you actually interact with them. Having worked in customer service myself, I dont expect anyone to be deliriously happy about working in a grocery store, but I do feel its reasonable to expect a basic, professional cordiality. Its not an issue with everyone in general, or every time were there, but its enough that we dont really choose to shop there very often.

New, huge and clean. Excited to see the other stores come in soon.

Called to have biscotti w/fruit set aside like I did a couple of weeks ago. The female person gave me all sorts of excuses for not helping me. From suddenly needing 48 hrs notice, not sure when Baker would be in, and so forth. Taking my business elsewhere, to edina where their bakery person was happy to help me. . Shame on you, minnetonka!

They have a good variety of items and I dropped off and returned an Amazon item easily at this location. Items can be a bit pricey but they make up for it with superb customer service.

Originally I only came to the store to return a product for Amazon. I have to say, that it was the easiest return Ive ever experienced. All I had to do was set it on the counter show him the QR code they scanned it and I was done. then I went shopping which was pleasant they had a lot of organic stuff although it was a little spendy. It was the best damn gallon of milk Ive ever had LOL. I recommend the experience.

I was looking for Muscat grape, I called a few whole foods stores and the best assistants I got was from this one from Minnetonka, they helped me with what I needed, but the other ones had no interest in helping me. Definitely I will shop at the Minnetonka one!!!

Its expensive and the lines were down the middle of the ilses so it made it very difficult to shop so I left with very little in my cart.

Great grocery shopping. This is becoming my stop when there is a queue at the nearby Trader Joes. The place was not crowded, with plenty of choices in the fresh fruits and veg.

Probably one of the nicer Whole Foods in Minneapolis judging by the wider variety of Republic of Tea teas.

I use the Amazon drop box located there. Very convenient and quick. Polite employees.

Broad aisles, clean, not overly stuffed with people, but feels small compared to the Edina store. Didnt have what I came for...found other fun things...cool soaps (cherry blossom scent), unique seeds, still a great shop.

Love this place! When Im cooking and need special ingredients, this is my go to spot. They have a large produce section and Im always able to find what I need. They also have a great cheese section with knowledgeable staff to help if needed it for some good suggestions. The deli has lots of lunch options that are healthy and tasty. Staff are friendly, helpful, and happy.

I’d give it 5 stars if they knew how to staff properly. It seems like rush hour lunch time is the only time they don’t have the 10 or less item express lane open causing 50% of the people with 1 or 2 items to wait behind people doing full blown shopping. Allocate your resources a little better and it’ll be 5 stars.

The staff here always come across as authentic - not overly happy like theyve been told they need to act that way, but never rude. Its a refreshing experience. The store is usually not crowded, and its in a very convenient location off of 394. It is smaller than other whole foods, but I prefer that to feeling overwhelmed in a massive store. The store fits in with expectations of a whole foods, so no surprises there. A great stop on my drive home.

While on the expensive side, it has been a nice place to go for a bit calmer grocery outing during covid. Really nice bakery and deli. Nice health section and good produce. Best for smaller grocery trips.

They have stuff I cannot get elsewhere locally.

Its very nice store and they have all organic vegetables & fruits selections . Also I like the fish section here, you can get exact amount of fresh fish you want.

Not unexpectedly doesnt seem to have the variety of the larger inner-city store, but has a layout that is easy to navigate. The aisles are a bit long and narrow, which makes navigation during social distancing a little awkward, but the store has imposed a one-way direction guidance for the narrower aisles and that seems to work to keep distances.

Always good organic food, good prices...But they need to stop the manditory masks bs, so will not shop there until Amazon TOTALLY backs off.

Besides being very impressed with the store in general, I just wanted to say thanks to the awesome people working at this location. My wife collapsed due to her medical condition and the staff responded incredibly well and helped us get through the situation. My wife is doing well now and I just wanted to make sure that the people working there know that we appreciated their help, since we didnt have the chance to say it at the time.

By far my favorite. The wellness people know there products. A pleasure to go there always. Great selection

Whole Foods may be a bit pricey, but I have yet to experience anything other than great service staff and phenomenal products!

This is probably my least favorite Whole Foods but since I work in the area I find my self stopping in from time to time for lunch. The hot bar hardly ever looks full and fresh even at lunch time. They always have the same soups, never any variety. I got a burrito made once at their taqueria but the black beans were so rock hard and undercooked I had to throw the whole thing away. The cashiers are usually pleasant though, just not very quick at ringing up produce. You’d think they’d memorize the produce codes a bit better.

An nice Whole Foods location, especially if youre planning to go by car. This area is not very pedestrian or bike friendly. The staff I encountered here were all extremely friendly and professional. If you need help with anything dont be afraid to ask. Well done as usual, Whole Foods!

There food is fine just not very interesting. Prices have dropped which is good but the lines and wait times for everything seems longer. Especially in the deli

All I have to say is this place is always going to be better than Hy-Vee and Trader Joes because in order to sell your product there you have to go through testsPlus nothing absolutely nothing has fake ingredients

Staff is good, but after 6pm the salad bar and hot bar is not. Wilted lettuce no olives and no olive oil. How’s a guy going to make his Greek salad! Watch out for the balsamic vinegar bottle, squeeze lightly or it’ll get all over your coat sleeve.

The produce and specialty items are awesome. We like to eat lunch there too - food allergies are marked.

After the Amazon takeover of WF, Minnetonkas (and other locs) hot bar and self-serve deli options have have declined some. The creativity and variety seem to have been scaled back. Gone are all of the items I exclusively came in for (California quinoa, apple-cinnamon quinoa, baked pears, etc). My two stars is for the service counter deli. I purchased my usual yellowfin tuna and cucumber salad to go, totaling a moderate $14. Both had the same indescribable taste and I could only get through a few bites before discarding everything. I ended up with stomach flu 2 days later with an 8 day recovery. This event has ended my 10-year run of WF deli purchases.4/19/20 Edit: Shopping at WF is now a rarity for me but did just do a grocery run at the same location as above (Plymouth, MN). Included in purchases was a 2.5 gallon jug of WF 365 spring water (shelved). The taste is a mix between liquid plastic and something else I couldnt identify. Much stronger than the faint plastic taste bottled water occasionally gives off. I only got one small gulp down before resigning. Honestly cant believe I am having another bad product experience from WF in a 3-month span.

My issue is with Whole Foods in Minnetonka, MN. They close at 9:00 and all the other Whole Foods in the Twin Cities close at 10:00. The 9:00 closing is bad but even worse is the fact that they turn off the pizza oven around 7:30. I was in there last Friday and they had taken all the bars (lemon bars, brownies, etc) out of the in store case. They take the hot foods out of the display case around 8:00. In essence, they are not even allowing customers to buy many foods past 8:00. I think that it only fair for Whole Foods Minnetonka to allow customers to buy ALL foods up until 9:00 just like they do in other Twin Cities Whole Foods. I have been there on several occasions between 8-9pm and there has always been other customers in the store plus more coming in as I leave. I want you to stay open until 10:00 just as all other Twin Cities Whole Foods stores do.

Good store with lots of choices for Organic products. But on the expensive side. Sea food, especially fish is always good and fresh, also you can order fishes they usually sell but not on store shelf and pickup in couple of days.

I was so impressed by the cleanliness, the atmosphere, the quality especially of fresh produce, and I was able to ask employees about whether the store carried a certain product and where it was. Everyone was very helpful. I am going back because of the products and the helpfulness and availability of employees.

Whole Foods is where I do majority of my grocery shopping. They have healthy choices and their organic selection is the best. I highly recommend Whole Foods if youre trying to go healthy. The workers here knows their knowledge of healthy foods as well.

Its a Whole Foods. This particular location is large and has a great selection. Better salad bar and deli than most other locations too.

They used to offer re-usable plates and composting, then both options stopped abruptly. They have zero bike racks for locking up your bike if you chose to bike. I expect a place like Whole Foods to be environment friendly but this location does not live up to my expectations.
