These guys are suuuuper chill. I planned to pay in cash for the work done, but when I picked up the vehicle the owner was out and they didnt have change on hand. No problem though; they sent me off with my car and said, Just give us a call tomorrow and well run the transaction then. With upfront estimates and plenty of friendly advice, theyre looking out for the customer. If you want a spit-and-polish professional service, theres plenty of dealerships happy to charge you for the extra bells and whistles. Freds is great! The owner met me out at my car and gave me an estimate that was right in line with what my insurance was claiming the damage was. When he opened the car up, he found more damage and immediately contacted us and our insurance provider to get the extra damage covered. We had to have a decent amount of work done, including painting the entire passenger side of our SUV as our door had to be replaced. It was done promptly, and we were very happy with what we paid. I would definitely recommend Freds to anyone needing work done!

Was involved in an accident and luckily enough all that was damaged was my bumper. Went to a big company body shop and they wanted to charge me almost 3 grand which was absolutely ridiculous. Figured Id try some place local and Freds was the perfect place. He told me exactly what I needed to fix to have it looking new and safe for under a grand. He called me to keep me updated and let me know of new parts he found that might need fixing to give the okay. Hes professional and super nice. If you need a cheap but great fix, hes your man. We are beyond impressed with the craftsmanship and level of professionalism we received at Freds body shop in mishawaka. Fred not only got the job done quick but beautifully. He replaced a rocker and painted it and painted the plastic around the truck that faded. Wish I could post pictures its a 2009 and now looks like a brand new truck. So happy! Not only well done but the price beat anyone around (I got 6 quotes). We will continue to use and refer Freds for any body work!

I moved to the michiana area this year so I had very little knowledge or recommendations when it came to finding a body shop for the work I needed. I received quotes from 6 different body shops in South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger, but Freds gave me a quote I felt was fair compared to the other shops. They were very flexible and fast for my bumper repair. I dropped my car off Monday morning and it was ready around noon the next day. They did a fantastic job and Im glad I chose Freds. Its nice to know I have a trustworthy local business I can refer to in the future. Highly recommend!
