I was trying to locate a good quality repair shop which was open on Saturdays. Well I forgot that I had gone here about one year ago to get a state inspection. I spoke with Bill at the front desk and was glad he helped. I got my oil changed and a couple of light maintenance items. I asked about brakes and and air filter, and was glad he recommended we wait and did not try to upsell me. If it needs to be done, well then lets do it. These guys are honest and work hard to complete your car on the timeline promised. I was told they could complete it by 1:30 and so it was by 1:20 I was in the car and driving home, able to get about my day. I am definitely coming back, and next time I might drop it off Friday night. I have been many other places, and I have found the one at the top of my list.

The people at the desk are always nice and professional. They always have coupons for next visit and give honest advice. I continue to use them since moving to the area 3 years ago.

I had an oil change here. I was in and out within 1 hour. Thanks guys wonderful job.

It only took a day for the car to start showing problems after I left that place. They charged me 700 dollars and they wanted 1400, the car was in good condition and they just created problems in the car to get more money from me. After I went to complain about this they said they needed 99 for the diagnosis + the repairs (I paid the diagnosis price when I took my car the first time there) Im not coming back again there they just want peoples money.

I used this place many years ago and forgot about it since my car was in a CPO program. Recently I needed a state inspection but with my new job, I could only get it done on weekends. Unlike many other places, Auto Check Missouri City is open on Saturday. As I was looking for a place to go, I saw their shop on Google and was reminded of their great service. I was not disappointed. I first gave them a call and they told me that they could take care of my car and there was little to no wait. I drove to the shop and as promised, I was second in line. The service was A1 and the guys were extremely friendly.Something important I must mention is that they did not try to upsell me. There was no talk of unicorn in my flux capacitor or giant repair bills for odd problems. (Believe me, I have been to places for a state inspection and was told my car was undriveable and it would cost $3000.00 to fix it!)I recommend these guys for their honesty, prompt service and friendliness.

Everyone was very friendly my inspection got done very quickly and was taken care of right away I think the guys name was Elver and he was very attentive and took care of me as soon as I got there.

I went Auto Check to get an inspection on my vehicle and they said that my car failed because my tint was too dark. The problem I have with this is that I’ve had the vehicle 4 years with the same tint and never failed an inspection. They told me I had to get my tint removed and come back in 15 days. I went to another auto shop and got the inspection with no problems. I will never frequent this place again for this reason.

The customer service is terrible here. There is a Pilipino / Asian man who works at the front desk, I forgot his name, but he made me feel very uncomfortable about giving my car keys to him. These guys seem very sketchy. The mechanics were good people, but it seems like they just want to milk as much money out of you as possible. You are better off somewhere else, like Jiffy Lube right across the street.

The staff is always friendly and during the course of inspection, they will inform you if other services are needed.

Ive lived in Sugar Land all my life and have tried all kinds of auto services in the area and I can confidently say without a doubt that this place is one of the worst places you can go to. Not only do they upcharge more than anyone else Ive seen, but they have little to no flexibility. Additionally, Auto - Check employees constantly go above and beyond in trying to make your car seem damaged/undriveable, in order to ensure that you get service from them. Some examples of my experiences are as follows:1. I once went for a full car check up, and when I got my suggested repairs back, I couldnt believe my eyes. They had found over 2 thousand dollars worth of absolutely necessary repairs. One of which included replacing the crankshaft position sensor, which would cost 900 dollars. An easy google search shows that in order to replace the sensor all you need is to get one ($60 retail) and then take out 3-4 screws, replace the sensor, and then replace the screws. I myself would do it if I could fit under my car. When I approached the staff in regards to the ridiculous pricing and asked if there were any alternatives, they blew me off and said I wouldnt get it. They also told me in this same visit, that my car is practically undriveable and that getting onto the road would be a hazard, essentially attempting to fear-monger me into opting into their service. I have driven my car for 2 and a half years since this visit, and havent seen anything in this time that would make the car undriveable . I later got my crankshaft position sensor fixed elsewhere, for only $100.2. My car AC had stopped working, and I wasnt sure of the reason. I approached the staff and asked how much it would be to just see how much refrigerant was in my car, instead of doing a full AC check up. In front of my eyes the guy at reception asked one of the servicemen what that would entail, to which the serviceman replied Itll take 5 minutes, just got to hook it up real easy. The front desk guy then turned to me and said it would cost $50 just to hook it up and check. When I subsequently asked how much it would then be to replace the refrigerant if necessary, they said it would be $200! I quite literally walked across the street to auto parts and bought a refrigerant with a guage for $50 instead of having to spend over 5x the amount just to check + fill it.Overall, my experiences at Auto Check have been beyond unsatisfactory, and I do not recommend them to anyone else. I usually dont write google reviews, but the constant stream of absurdity I have experienced at this shop warrants a review. You can go across the street or even next door to the nearby jiffy lube and everyone will tell you how overpriced auto check is. Save your money and save your sanity.

Auto Check did a great job. Fast and quick quality check of my truck. All was good, no problems. Fair always, never try to get you to get work you dont need. I will continue to do business with Auto Check.

I absolutely love my service here at Autocheck Missouri City. For a big city suburb, they make you feel like you’re in a small town checking in on old friends. Very good people and their work is quality and professional. Never wait too long and they even offer shuttle service! I look forward to every oil change, thank you guys!

I went in because of A/C blowing hot air on passenger side. Dropped off early Tuesday morning, they called around 2pm with diagnosis and discussed needing extra part. My A/C was fixed that day with total price of $600.00. My a/c has been working wonderful every since.Thank you Auto Check for great job well done!

I came in to have my car inspected and was greeted right away. I was asked to provide my drivers license and insurance card, I didn’t have the physical copy on hand and they allowed me to show them a picture of it. The actual inspection didn’t take long at all. Seemed like I was in and out of there. Everyone was nice and the lobby I sat in was neat. Thanks so much!

Bill tried to charge me for a cabin filter and my truck did not have one 😡. If I didnt insist on seeing the old filter he would have charged me and I would have never known ...

This is the only place I go to for any service my car may need. I am a young woman, and I love that the guys here do not try to take advantage of that by recommending services I don’t need. All the guys here are so friendly, helpful, and kind. I will continue going here and only here as long as I live in the Houston area!

I was very impressed with the way Bill went out of his way To diagnose the battery and or electrical system problem. He didn’t find anything and I wasn’t charged anything. I can’t say enough about how much I trust those guys.

They arent cheap, but theyre good. My car has had an issue for years that three other mechanics werent able to troubleshoot and solve. Id kind of given up on the issue being solved, and had stopped asking mechanics to look at it.This is the only mechanic shop that recognized my timing belt needed to be replaced, which fixed the aforementioned issue. The neat thing is, I didnt even tell them to check for anything remotely similar to that, they just discovered it on their own as part of a routine inspection and offered to add the issue on to my current servicing needs.

I have used this place before for some other auto repair work and was quite impressed... however I have never used this Auto Check on FM 1092 for an oil change... I normally use Walmart and pay around $60 for a full synthetic oil change however since their Automotive section is closed I decided to use this Auto Check .. To be honest the attendant did provide me with the price upfront of $90 which I found was quite expensive. Their service was ok but I found out the price after comparing it with another Auto Check at Lexington Blvd (where I gone for a wheel alignment)which was around $59 for the same synthetic oil change. Shame on me for not checking prices. I definitely would recommend the Auto Check on 13280 Lexington Blvd for your next oil change and they provide great service & with very fair pricing.

Dont waste your time here. If its not a easy cookie cutter job they say they cant do it. Old man at desk hates military vehicles. Said he cant even lift the tire 6 with a floor jack to rotate tires. Its a military humvee and weighs 2000 lbs less than my dodge ram. Its basically a gm truck with a square body.

I went to Jiffy Lube to get my Inspection done and they said that there was something wrong with the connection for the reader in my car, so I went around the corner to this Auto Check to get a second opinion and as it turns out there is nothing wrong with my connection....a huge thanks to these guys for knowing how to use their equipment.

I have gone to Auto Check on several occasions and each time I have had a great experience. I was surprised at how efficiently things were run and how quickly my car was completed compared to other places I have gone in the past. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I was well informed as to what would be done to my car and how much time it would take. I felt the prices were great and I didnt feel I was being overcharged. This is friendly, clean, and well run business. I will continue to go back to this particular Auto Check in the future for any services that my car needs.

Since my husband and I moved to Missouri City last year, weve taken both of our vehicles to Auto Check for all of our routine and unscheduled maintenance. Theyve been honest with us, and do good work. I appreciate that they will give us a ride home when we drop the car off for the day as well- thats a service not every shop offers, and it makes a difference. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area whos in the market for honest and fast work.

This auto repair shop is pretty sketchy. Its decent for getting a check up and confirming your issue on a car, but the repair work they charge is outrageous. My starter on my car stopped working and I was quoted $1,000 for repair. It was not too difficult of a thing to self diagnose, I went there originally to just confirm and see how much they would charge. When I said I wouldnt want the service from them, they immediate jumped down to $700, then $470 and even with their final number of $370 it was excessive. They really try to guilt trip you on how their parts are better and they are superior because they are original manufacture. I ended up going to Auto Zone finding the same OEM part for $100 and went to a local mechanic that wasnt as big and was only charged $100 for the repair. It only took 20 minutes and didnt require any special tools.This place really price gouges you and its terrifying, this is one of those mechanics that they speak of all the time to be wary of. Really believe the low rated reviews that state they price gouge. Also, find a mechanic you know and trust, dont be fulled by their professionalism and demeanor, they are out to hustle you.I suggest you call around to local mechanics and tell them your diagnosis to get an estimate, getting your car towed to another mechanics doesnt even cost as much as the combine total of how much they were asking.

This is bad auto check, I went there for inspection, but they asked me to change two front tires and charged me $420, I did not accept.it. I do not come back any more.

Good operation. I just had a state inspection done, but it was quick and easy. I had an appointment and my vehicle went right in. Lobby and waiting area was incredibly clean. Staff was friendly, knowledgable, and gave me the complete rundown of what they saw when inspecting the vehicle. Great experience.

I have taken my car here a couple of times because the location was convenient on my way home from work. The service is okay, could be better. They close at 6 but if you dont get off work until 5 pm and cant be there at 5 pm they cant (wont) accommodate a customer. Guess they dont need my money or service.

I will only take my vehicles to John from this point forward. He was so very helpful when I brought my vehicle in because I thought I had an oil leak, from a puddle I saw on the road where I was parked. After I spoke with John he pulled it in right away and had his team take a look at it. After about 20 minutes he came back with the great news of no leaks and even better news no charge. After pleading with him to let me pay him he refused an thanked me for coming by.

Brought my mini into the store, took it to the dealer first. The dealer wanted to charge 75 dollars just to look at my mini. The engine light was on so on my way home stopped at auto check and spoke with Matt. They did a diagnostic and it was a simple wire that unplugged. The mechanic plugged it back in and they didnt charge me one cent. Really appreciate the honesty and professionalism that they gave me. Matt simply said have a great day as I walked out a completely satisfied customer. I wont hesitate to take my vehicle there!

To say I am disappointed in your company is a grave understatement. I took my Saab in because the air would not blow. After an initial evaluation Matt came out and told me that the blower and harness were fried. Even went as far to say that the pigtail was melted and destroyed. Quoted me almost 1500.00 to repair. I got a second opinion over the phone and the price was 550.00 to replace.I just took the car in to another reputable dealer and they said that the only issue was that the harness became unplugged. They didnt charge me anything.It is disreputable shops like your that give your industry a bad name. We now know that you also took advantage of my elderly mother when she brought her HHR to you. I will never ever do business with you again and will do my very best to ensure that everyone in my circle knows what you attempted to do to me at your shop.As a business owner myself, I cant imagine how you sleep at night.

I took my 2009 TSX for a brake job. Price was fair compared to 3 other shops. One thing that stood out most was their 2 year warranty. No other shop offered a 2 year. Thanks Auto Check, brakes feel amazing!!! John at the front desk was very helpful.

Be very careful with this place. Not trust worthy. Went in for State Inspection today. They were trying hard to upsell on everything from wipers to wheel alignment. Then the technician comes in after 10 minutes saying my car front brake pads were completely worn out. They got caught in the lie as I had them replace within the last week. I will recommend you avoid this place.

It was late and my car had broken down in front of the bank. Across the street was Auto Check and they were about to close for the day but offered to push it to their store and give me a ride home. They found my battery had died and the alternator stopped working. The next morning they came and picked me up and brought me back to get me to work the same day with a reasonable price. I called around after to see if I got a good deal and found out I saved about $300 with John over 4 places. Thanks John and Auto Check.

Quick service - I have been there mostly for emissions check and safety inspections !

Horrible Experience. Truck Diagnosed with a bad coil. So we had everything that they said was wrong fixed. $1700. Same day truck driven off noticed that there was a problem. 2 Days later Truck Stops on us. Tells us .. another coil must have gone out.. $60 to diagnose the problem again and $250 to replace coil.. But you ran it through the diagnostic machine already, why another $60 and you didnt see the other coil was bad? Felt as if I was being taken advantage of. Took my vehicle to somewhere else. To follow up ....... The Manger at the facility has agreed to fix the other coil that may be going out at no charge to us. they really tried to make it up to me and my husband and to correct any issue.

Kinda pricey! But I had get it fix. Staff was nice and gave me ride home and picked me up! 4 stars due to pricing.

My experience was not a good one. I was misdiagnosed and quoted $3,500 for issues that were not pertinent. I needed 4 new tires and I had to find out from another tire shop. They charged me $49 to diagnose (incorrectly) which no other shops do (no other autocheck does this)I ended up taking my car to different Auto Check instead and paid for an alignment and scheduled rear brakes, totalling $268, $3232 less than Auto Check Missouri City.Mike the guy who drives the shuttle however, was wonderful! Courteous, helpful and professional. He was a delight to drive with.

As usual, my 2012 Escape was repaired to perfection. We really appreciate the hard work, fair price and honestly of the whole crew (especially Matt)! You have been, and will continue to be, the go to place for car matter!
