It’s been years since I’ve been here, but was in town for an event and needed a brake job. Bruce has retired, but Todd is the man now and I enjoyed doing business with him. Honest, excellent customer service. Prices are good and quality of work is excellent. I may save future maintenance for my next trip to town. I highly recommend these guys. Keep up the good work.

Great place! Very reasonably priced services and repairs. But even better is the knowledge and experience they have. Id pay double just to get things fixed or repaired by them. When they say its fixed, its fixed!

I took my 2003 Chevy Tahoe in for a few deferred maintenance issues. Joe and his team took the time to troubleshoot, clearly explain what they found, and provided recommendations for repair. Honest with integrity best shop in town.

They are awesome. Fair, honest, polite, fast. You wont be disappointed. We went to few places before that made me never want to go back. This is the place. They could made up a lot of issues with our cars but instead they chose to be honest and we ended up with a bill waaaayyyy smaller than any other place. They are professionals and wont play with your cars nor your wallet.

Was due for regular service and had maintenance light on. Have been going for years to Auto shop. Had always received excellent, kind service. Told new owner that I was expecting the same excellent service to continue as I recommend many people to this shop. Have been assured that the high standards will be maintained.

Great service! Took my newly bought used car in with a gas leak.They couldnt find the replacement parts but worked on it for several hours and fixed the problem. 2 months later everything is still good.

No better honest auto repair that I know of. Have used Bruces services for a number of years. He will give one an evaluation that is straightforward. Have recommended him several times on the local Next-door site and responses to my posts are always positive. Bruce, dont let all this stuff go to your head.

I can fix most issues but leave the major ones to Bruce. I have found The Auto Shop Honest and Truthful.The Auto Shop has worked on every car I have owned and all my family members. I get quick, accurate quotes for repair. I have never had to bring anything back for the same issue.I will NEVER use anyone else.

We tried this place for the 1st time, since they had amazing reviews. We can confirm that their service is outstanding! We took our 2007 car in for a repair. Bruce gave us an idea of what the issue may be but did not guarantee anything until he got a closers look at our car. We were able to schedule an appt for the following week. Today we dropped off our car off first thing in the morning (8am). Bruce kept us up to date along the way as we ran our errands. He also informed us of the concern he had regarding our tires. We returned to the shop to find out that our tires were in really bad condition, bad enough that we could have had a blow out. Bruce advised us not to drive back home in Patterson, and replace them today. The service took until 3pm but it was worth the wait. We will definitely come back for any further issues! We got our tires replaced and aligned. Our car is now riding perfect our issues are now gone. Thanks again Bruce & staff, we appreciate your outstanding service!

Bruce is great. He is honest and caring. Every time I took my truck in for a repair, he was upfront with the cost and what needed to be repaired.Another great feature I enjoy is the online booking. Instead of calling, I can simply book an appointment via the website and take my truck in.The last great service is the automated reminders. I am terrible in keeping track on routine maintenance. The emails are a great way to inform me that a service is due.

The guys at The Auto Shop have been keeping my cars, my kids cars and now my grand kids cars running in top shape for 20 years. Thier work is done quick and professionally complete. Good and fast

The Auto Shop definitely deserves a five star rating and let me explain why. First of all they are very honest in all of their dealings. I had my motor mounts and water pump replaced, as well as some other minor repairs. I got a great deal compared to other shops who wanted to sell me things I really didnt need or want. They give you options and explain why certain things have to be done, they really take the time to repair things the right way. Bruce, the owner, doesnt have amateur mechanics working on the vehicles like other shops I have been to. Second reason this shop is five stars is because they are very kind and courteous, even the dog who wanders around the shop and greets you occasionally. They call you when deemed necessary if there are changes or if he can save you money on parts with different ordering options. Bruce and his wife are customer service oriented. They care about the customer not just the money, although money is necessary to fix the car.

I want to add my voice to others whom I am sure have received highly conscientious and efficient work this auto shop provides. Sometime about a year ago we were returning from a camping trip when my RAM 1500 suddenly overheated; after a conversation with them I took the truck into The Auto Shop where a complete analysis was preformed and I was provided a very reasonable estimate of repairs. one of the things that was found that had not been expected was a sheared manifold bolt [possibly from time of manufacture] the craftsman doing the work had a very hard time removing the broken bolt however, charged very little more than the original estimate. I will never hesitate to take one of my vehicles to them and would feel completely at ease. The Auto Shop has provided excellent service and advice on maintaining my 1991 Mazda Miata (it still passes smog, at an Independent Smog Testing and Repair Shop).

You can always tell a great shop (business for that matter) by how they handle problems. Bruce repaired a starter and solenoid for us on our car. The part failed, as parts do sometimes in the first week. Bruce got my car back in and replaced it with a new one that is running perfect. I was visiting from out of town, and my car started making a bad scraping noise. I was worried that something was seriously wrong with my car, and decided to take it in as soon as I could. It turns out that I just had a bunch of tumbleweeds stuck in it! They only charged me $40, checked to make sure my brakes were ok, and got my car back to me quickly. With my level of ignorance about cars (and tumbleweeds, I suppose), they couldve tried to cheat me. While my car didnt need much work, the Auto Shop really struck me as a business with a lot of integrity. Thank you!

Called to get an air conditioner recharged on an old car early 90s they said it’s not a car they do which is too old but yet they’re google advertisement shows cars 10-15 years older for their google picture weird business weird customer service ...don’t waste your time with this place

I called to get a quote for a New battery and installation. After calling several shops including the Cadillac dealership they were by far overpriced. Ive always thought the dealership was the most expensive. But you guys overpriced them by $100.00. To bad because Ive been looking for a New shop to take my vehicles to.

Its great to be back.UPDATE: Its November, 2018, and even though it is a 65 mile drive for us, we will not go for auto service anywhere else. We retired our 2006 Prius with 275K and just had our first service from The Auto Shop for our 2015 Prius with 24K. We know that Bruce and his team will take good care of this one too.

Found The Auto Shop By having My overheated auto towed there by AAA recommendation.
