We were on a very long (>1000 miles) road trip and our car got a sidewall puncture in one tire. It was on a Sunday and we were really worried about finding a shop who was open and could get us in. These guys were busy, but they still helped us out right away and got us on the road with a new tire in less than an hour. We were very appreciative of getting such quick help to get back on the road.

If I could give this business a lower rating, Id do it. I had a fuel leak at the top of my fuel tank. The leak was fixed, but the new sending unit that was installed was improperly installed, and now my fuel gauge is registering wrong. When my fuel gauge reads 1/4, it really empty. And when I took my car back to get it fixed properly, they wouldnt fix their mistake. Ill never do business with Firestone again.

I took my car here for brake pads, calipers, and rotor replacements after I had an issue with my breaks nearby. This was in October 2020. I got them fixed in a few days. It was $790. I drove my car over the ensuing few weeks and the pads were smoking and my car was pulling and it felt like my brakes were constantly on. So I took it back. It was there for days, so I called to check when it would be done. The very professional and nice younger employee on the phone told me it was not worked on yet, after several days, but that they would get to it starting Monday. I called Monday and the person had called in. So they said “we believe it will be done tomorrow. Assuming he comes in.” So I called the next day and it was to be ready at noon. It was not ready. I was finally able to get it the following morning. Steve the mechanic was rude. He stopped me on my way out and chastised me. Saying that I needed a new brake hose and new bearing (which they neglected to point out until this second visit). I left.When I did, the car was exhibiting continued issues. I took it to my dad, who is a mechanic. He looked at it. We removed everything. The brake lines were fine. Once again Steve had put the parts on wrong. The car was pulling to the right and burning through the pads on one side because of his work.My dad replaced the hub with the bearing, and we got new parts. I wasted that $790. Which is a lot of money. I was treated negatively by Steve. It was not good. I would not recommend this location. Especially Steve. All I got from the manager was a quick sorry and “all you can do is bring it in.” I don’t think so.

I was in a pinch and needed a new tire. I called firestone and they had the tire I needed and told me to come on in. They were booked for the day but Nick was so polite and nice and promised to squeeze me in. Not only were they incredibly kind and professional, but he was even able to just fix my flat tire! I truly appreciate the fact they didnt instantly try to sell me a tire I didnt need.Thanks Nick!

About a month ago I stopped by and asked if I could get some air in my tires. The guy behind the counter said, “we are busy... why don’t you go across the street to Goodyear, they will take care of you.” Well, since they are so busy, I stopped by today and asked for a printout of all my records for the past 3 years... I’ve been a loyal customer for about 20 years now, even before Gordy was the manager. I have 4 cars that get oil changes every 5,000 miles, tires, brakes etc... no more Firestone... I’m going to help them out by taking my cars and money somewhere else. If the guy behind the counter would have simply said that it would be 15 or 20 minutes or even said to come back in an hour or two, I would still be a loyal customer. I hope they learn the value of customer service soon.

Need to definitely work better on customer service. Also, the guy at the counter that day was not welcoming to customers.I dropped my truck off PER ONLINE APPOINTMENT at 10 AM, wandered around the mall and walked back over at 12:30 to find my truck hadnt even been pulled into the garage. A tech apologized and once he knew, got someone to finally pull my truck in. Truck needed a brake line replaced, so I left it to be worked on and it didnt get it back until the next day at around 4. I understand jobs take longer than expected, but there needs to be a call if your car will need another day to be worked on. Or set up a texting system. Or SOMETHING to keep owners in the know, as it should not fall on the customer to beg for update.

So I would actually give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars if possible. Took in on a Friday. Need the car back ASAP, we are long distance moving in a week. Car is overheating. Also need a driver side handle. Not a problem should be done Saturday late afternoon they will call. I called Saturday, they cant figure out why it overheats Ill need to take ot to Ford dealer, handle should be done Sunday, they will call. Made appointment for Tuesday at Ford dealer. I was out of town but no call Sunday, No call Monday . Tuesday morning call, we need car. Oh, no one called you?, no, oh it will take 3 to 5 days for the handle. So said no, and went picked up car took it to Ford dealer, in less then an hour they said thermostat is stuck, another 2 hours done......and cheaper then Firestone wanted.Recap: Firestone diagnostics. They dont know what they are doing. This is the second time they told me they didnt know, take it to the dealer. So dont waste your money on their diagnostics. To also not call a customer back, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!!

Love these folks, they do excellent work, and even are honest with me about whether or not they can do something, which is very rare in this industry; others will gladly charge an arm and a leg to mess up your vehicle then refuse accountability later. I will say they can be a little pricey, but one can’t argue with the results, the great customer service, and the family atmosphere they provide.

So must admit we got kind of nervous when we said we had an 11am appt for 4 new tires & they said who did you talk to? We were worked in at said time for 4 new tires at cheaper price because of a sale. During tire mounting found alignment was an issue, which they were also able to do. Michael was very friendly and professional in assisting with getting GREAT prices on tires & made sure we were aware of other discounts specifically military we could use. GREAT place to get GREAT car care!!!!

3hrs for new tires with appointment. Wanted my old tires back. They had to load them after sale. Had to ask for the tires to be cleaned. Blue over white letters to be cleaned. They spend more time with free inspection then doing what I can in for. Over all poor service. To long waiting for tires. They need to streamline the whole Firestone experience.

I set an appointment for a Wednesday. The minute I got there and said my name for the appointment, they told me that they didnt have time for me and that I had to reschedule. So I rescheduled for Friday. My appointment was at 1 pm. The front desk employee told me it would take 45 min to an hour. They didnt even go get my car until an hour and a half had passed. 45 min later they call me up to the register, so I think my car is done, nope. It took them 45 minutes to determine that my tire was irreparable. They said they would throw a donut on it for me so I said fine. It took them half an hour to put a donut on my vehicle. I didnt leave until about 3:45 pm with nothing done to my car. Unacceptable and Ill never go back.

They will always find you more and more stuff to fix for getting fix for one Damm thing!!! Spent $800 and they asking more for same problem which was shaking on freeways at 65 MPH. I made the mistake of not getting new tires before starting a cross country trip. The manager checked out my tires, and got me in very quickly. He was extremely accommodating, and got me back on the road in a couple of hours. Since then, the drive has been a hell of a lot smoother, and I feel more confident in my cars performance.

Woke up to find I had a tire that was totally flat. Put some air in it with with my compressor at home and then limped it in to them. It was 400pm when I arrived (without a scheduled appointment) They had it patched and ready to roll in 90 minutes. Outstanding customer service! I will definately be returning here again.

I take partial blame for my issues with Firestone in that I made the conscious decision to take my vehicle back for service after the debacle I experienced last winter. Long story shorty, they replaced a tie rod last winter (which they recommended). The new part wasnt bolted in properly which led to it detaching slamming my vehicle into a curb. Theyre reaction was disinterested at best and led to a series of delays, part didnt come in excuses, and a complete lack of communication or sympathy. In the end, they replaced the part after nearly a week never once offering an apology or any sort of compensation for a mishap that literally could have killed me.Fast forward to last week--I needed a tire replaced so I figured Id have them repair an inoperable power window. Same story--part didnt work, 2nd part didnt work, new part on order, etc. After a couple days of this I had to pick up my car (window still inoperable) to discover a series of other interior electrical issues which undoubtedly were created by their ineptitude.I get it--theyre a tire joint. I guess I would trust them to do that again (although I wont), and can accept the fact that they are very poor at fixing cars. (My mistake for giving them another shot). However, I think its fair to expect a repair shop to not repeatedly damage my car. I also cannot except the dismissive attitude. Every time I call with extremely legit concerns, they are apathetic at best and cant seem to get me off the phone quick enough. I feel I have to babysit them every step of the way and communication is non-existent. Minimal expectations of customer service are not met which in my mind is inexcusable when representing a national brand. I wish you all better luck, but at this point I wouldnt trust them to change a wiper blade.

In my opinion, this is the best place in the area for any vehicle work. Their work has always been perfect for me, but more importantly, the staff are always friendly and helpful. They provide many free check-ups during appointments, and I have never felt as though I was being sold on services I didnt need. Prices are about what I would expect for the work being done, but they often have coupons online.

Bought 4 tires online that were guaranteed to be in store for my exact make and model. After dropping my keys off I was informed an hour later the tires didnt fit. As I had work the next day and one of my tires was flat and another leaking air I had little choice but to buy another set and ended up spending well over $100 than Id budgeted. I was given a partial credit but not enough to make a difference.Between the high pressure upsells and outrageous material/labor costs I will avoid this place as much as possible in the future. Really the only things going for it are the weekend hours and credit card for emergencies.Not a good place to take your car.

So I asked them if it was done, they informed me it wasnt and told it would be another hour, they were fixing the break pads and rotors. like the gentlemen before me wrote, it was way over priced and took them 5 hours to finish. I stayed and continued to watch as they did nothing to my car for an hour. after standing there a full hour I started to get very irritated flagged down one of the workers and asked why no one was attending to my vehicle. he claimed they were very busy. they were not, they are just extremely lazy. well over half their work force was standing along the sides talking to one another about everyday things. How do I know this well I decided to take a stroll around the store and all I hear is laughing and jokes and very little work being done. I continued to heckle the cashiers at the front desk. when all was said and done it cost me five hundred dollars and mostly because of the time they worked on the vehicle. I told him I wasnt going to pay for the extra hours they worked on the car, because they told me it would only be two and in the first two hours all they did was pull my vehicle inside the shop. they then said they wouldnt release the vehicle if I didnt pay. their lack of motivation and professionalism is astounding to say they least. this is by far one of the biggest rip off shops you can go to, to get your car worked on. I would of given them no stars if it didnt require at least one to post this on the site, just so the next person reading knows.

Had a flat tire on the highway. Put on that temporary Tire and went to Firestone. While I had lunch they put on two back tires. They seem pretty decent. Then they noticed that two of my tie rods were bad. They looked it up and made an appointment to fix them for free as part of the guarantee cuz they had fixed them previously. Treated me well. Made repairs again while I had lunch. I was happy with their work.

Fixed the problems with my car. 2 of them reoccurring. Went back 2 times to fix problem .. The service desk employee is incredibly rude and insulting.I hesitate to have them fix the issues. My father who lives on social security went in to see if his air could be fixed, after charging him for the work they did that did not work they had a local Ford dealership fix it. They called and told us the total bill was almost $1700 my dad only had $1600 left on his firestone credit card so (being nice) the manager said he would take it down to what was left! 2 weeks after the work was done it stopped working again! We got the papers from the dealership to find out it was only $900 and they charged over $600 more when we asked why we were told “ well you did use our financing” ok but no real explanation of what the charge was and why the bill was so much more. Days later I still have yet to hear from the manager or corporate about this issue! To take advantage of anyone like the elderly is really disheartening and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! Read all the comments and Facebook comments you will see it’s clear! Not the most honest facility!!

The service used to be great but has been terrible for a couple of years now. Like several of the other reviews I had an appointment and was quoted 1 hour to swap Summer and Winter tires. I arrived 20 minutes early and sat around for over two hours and they still hadnt pulled my car into the garage. The supervisor was rude, didnt apologize for the wait and was very dismissive. Guess Ill find a new tire place.

I was visiting a friend in the QC- felt my car having more issues than usual while on I80. Booked an appointment next day at this location, for an alignment.The shop spent 15 minutes TOPS on the alignment and printed out very odd readings for an alignment. Seriously, I went across the street to Taco Bell with my friends and got a call saying it was done a few moments after sitting down to eat. This tells me that my car was NOT properly inspected, nor properly aligned. I was met with hesitation when I asked for the print out of the readings.2 weeks go by and the issues have rendered the car ( 2016 Ford Foucs) extremely difficult to drive and unsafe in certain conditions (not even hazardous, just mild weather changes).I luckily had bought a lifetime warranty, and brought it to my home location. They spent about 40-50 minutes, and there is now a night and day difference in every single aspect of how this car handles.I would advise extreme caution before proceeding to schedule maintenance of any kind here.

Went to the store to check the warranty and get new tires. Warranty didnt cover so I asked him to look at the tires and tell me how soon Id need to replace it and give me an estimate on a 4 set. The front desk guy made me wait for 10 minutes while he did nothing and finally looked at it for 5 seconds. Told me to call next day rather than giving me an estimate on the spot when I had already driven there. Looks like they dont wannna run a business. Local hicks ruining the brand.

If I were rating based solely on customer service I would rate it 5 stars. If I were rating solely on work completed I would give it 1 star. The price was great, they put a higher quality tire on my car for about half the price of the dealership quoted me and they were substantially less that any of the other quotes I received as well. After it was all said and done the guys behind the desk did a very good job of trying to make up for all of the inconveniences and mistakes on their end. I was truly satisfied with them and in the end they made everything more than alright, they are why I have anything good to say at all. In fact, I think that everyone that works there did a great job and was courteous and accommodating. I think the issue, and reading the other reviews confirms this, is that they just are trying to service way to many people and they are not able to keep up with. The day I was there I called prior to book the appointment because I knew I would be waiting there until my car was done as I live an hour away. I got there by my 1:00 appt and was there until nearly 7:00. I walked to the local mall, had lunch, went and had a drink trying to burn up time, returned 3 hours later and my car had not been touched! I was concerned. As I sat and waited I saw several people very dissatisfied. They lost one customers keys and were running around very un-organized. Another customer saw there car pulled around and sat there for nearly an hour before she went up to ask what the deal was just to have them hand her the keys it was done. They started working on my car and they realized they only had 1 of 4 tires available and had to leave and go buy the other 3 tires from a competitor. I was so concerned I asked another gentleman waiting there is this kind of stuff was normal for them, he didnt seem to think so. After my tires were installed and I was on my way home I realized something was off about my vehicle, the computer was not functioning correctly, said I was getting like 7 mpg in my camry. I called and they said turn around and they would have a look which I appreciated but by this point I was done. I called the dealer I purchased is from and wanted to make sure it got fixed correctly, I figured it was something minor and it was. We had reset the maintenance computer and that did not fix it, turned out to be an eco setting got turned off, must have been when they were trying to reset my maintenance computer as I had an oil change too, but the dealership had to read the manual as they had never seen this happen and did not know that you could even turn this setting off. Problem finally resolved and I did not have to go out of pocket for this. So for what its worth, here is my review, sorry I could not give you guys 5 stars but thank you for making everything right in the end.

First off Ive spent a good deal of money here over the years. Dropped my van off yesterday for a new set of tires I warned them that the tire sensors hadnt been removed in awhile but they did not leak so do not remove them as I did not want to deal with a broken sensor. Next thing I know a couple hours later they call saying a sensor blew up when they let the air out(their words). I dont believe this for a minute as I check my tire pressure almost everyday with no issues. So in other words they attempted to remove the sensor and broke it. They wanted $112.00 for one sensor seems a bit extreme considering the parts are $6.00 online. So they installed a rubber valve stem which holds air but now I get to deal with a dash light since Im down a sensor. I offered to order the $6.00 part and bring the tire back for them to put it in, he insisted they only work with parts they supply (cant blame him I guess with that kind of mark up) Needless to say this is awful customer service and I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling all my family and friends to steer clear. Disappointed is a understatement.

Was told i needed an entire power steering assembly rebuilt in my Ford F150. $2500 was the quote I believe. $380 later at local garage and my hose was fixed and the other hose, pump and $1100 rack were just fine. Upsale and misleading is their game. I always need new tires even when only 2 months old. Was charged $9.99 to inspect what i already said was wrong and didnt even get tire air or fluid topped for free which was the $9.99 charge. Extremely friendly but its obvious they have been coached by corporate to make $$$$$. Oil change or tires YES... anything that requires actual certified mechanic NOOOOO...

Last two interactions NOT good. Bought 4 tires, picked up car and everything in glove compartment on floor. They needed tire lock, but made a mess. Called for oil change appointment. Called at noon, they said come in at 1 PM. Arrived at 12:55 PM. Left at 1:35 PM, car had not moved since arrival. First off, let me say that I have NEVER come across a more knowledgeable or caring auto repair establishment than what I found at this location tonight. I am not from Moline, but I sure wish I was because places with the honesty, knowledge, and integrity shown by the staff there are not easily found in this industry! So, while the following is a long account of my experience, it is one that is due for going above and beyond.Tonight (Sunday night), we were traveling over two hours home after an overnight visit in Bettendorf, IA. My vehicle became incapacitated with a horrible wheel grinding noise that sounded as if my tires were going to fall off. Being it was 3:30pm on a Sunday afternoon, I knew my chances were slim of finding anywhere open. I felt my desperation grow as I called around only to find that the two locations that were open at that time (Tires Plus and Firestone) both were booked solid. However, the associate on the phone at Firestone told me to bring it in, and they would assess the situation. It took me over a half hour to drive the short 2.8 miles with my car grinding the entire way. I just knew that we would be stranded in Moline, even though it was imperative I make it home for an important appointment the next day. As I pulled in after 4:00 pm, I was greeted by Lindsay and Kaylee, who immediately took my vehicle in to be inspected by Chuck. It was in horrible shape, and even they werent sure if there was much they were going to be able to do for me (I have a Mercedes, and the parts would not be available probably until the next day, they shared before taking it in.) I began to call around to rental car agencies and AAA for help, as I felt the worst was inevitable.What happened next not only surprised me, but the integrity, honesty, and the desire to show human kindness (which is rare in some of todays commerce businesses) floored me and humbled me greatly. Chuck and Lindsay (I believe it was Lindsay) took complete ownership and care of looking at my vehicle. They assessed I had an issue, that while couldnt be completely repaired, could be worked around to where we were not only able to get back on the road to get home, but we were able to do safely.What has made my gratitude even greater is the fact that even though your establishment was so incredibly busy, and had other vehicles well ahead of us, your staff seemed to really care about the plight we were in, and they seemed to drop everything to take care of us. Not only did they keep us updated as to what they were finding, but Lindsay even took me over to a sight board that showed me exactly what was going on, and what had broken, in my wheel so I would understand. Then, Chuck came and showed us the part that was broken, then also told us what needed to be done. It was clear Chuck really knew his stuff. They even made sure that my vehicle was 100% good to go before they even let us back in it. WOW.. just wow...I am so grateful to have had this experience tonight. Not that I was grateful for my vehicle being in peril, but I am so grateful that your staff not only told me to come on in, even with them obviously being so busy (and I can now see why they are busy), but I am SO grateful it was THIS store that we happened upon.Chuck, Kaylee, and Lindsay turned a situation that could have ended up seeing us not only having to spend the night, incur those expenses, but I also would have missed my appointment, into one of the BEST customer service experiences I have EVER experienced to date.Thank you, Firestone, for your help tonight. I am so grateful you were there. Instead of State Farm taking the credit for the following statement, may I say that for us tonight, Like a good neighbor, Firestone was there. And yes, you were. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. You didnt have to help, but you did. Thank you.

Ive been a customer at Firestone multiple times, and I dislike Firestone. Price is way too high. They keep your vehicle longer than needed, this causes you to pay more than necessary. I really dont like using the word hate but I strongly dislike this company, because I went in one day to bleed my breaks, I waited 3 hours, they finally came out and said they could only bleed the back breaks but, could NOT bleed my front breaks, because they could NOT open the front vaulvs. But they still charged me the full amount $85-$90. Bleeding your breaks is as simple as someone pumps the break pedal and another person opens and closes the break valve. Takes about less than 5 -8minutes per break. They told me they give free break inspection I said ok do that for me. All they did was get into the car and pump my breaks. Then asked if I would like them to do a further inspection I said ok. They took off the front wheel and looked at the break pads then they told me that would cost $200+ just to look at my breaks. $200+ for less than 5 minutes to look at my break pads. Something I could do myself and I have done myself. The reason I took my car in was because I could not open the vaulve because Im limited on tools.An further more the staff could not tell me exactly what was the problem with my breaks. They suggested that I change my break pads and my break rotors for around $400+. Break pads for a pair of 4 cost $20 or less. Break rotors cost $20 a piece. Could take about 30 minutes to one hour to do both sides with right tools and knowledge. Why $400+ I dont know. Also they suggested new break lines, New break calipers, new rear break drums, new break boster and a new break solenoid. Im not a certified mechanic, but I do know enough that I do not need any of that stuff the only thing I needed that I found out later was a break sylinoid. This fixes sinking break pedal or you could have a leaking break line. Those are the only 2 reasons why your breaks sink to the floor. But Firestone took advantage and spent my money on things I didnt need.Another car I took in so they could replace my wheel bearings. Just one of them cost me $280 and took them 3 hours to do. Thats not including the wait time, I waited 1 hour before they got me in but no problem. They fixed the wheel bearing 3 days later something happen and it broke again while I was driving straight down the road. I had another shop replace a different wheel bearing on my car it took them 30 minutes and cost me $80 including the wheel bearing that cost $20-$30. Firestone is redicules. I will never go again to firestone.
