Bought my Outback back in 2015 brand new and keep coming back to the service center because of how well they have treated me over the years. I know my next car will be a Subaru for 2 reasons. First, they are awesome cars. Secondly, they have the best service center around.

We’ve serviced our two Subarus at Subaru Pacific until we received subpar service. Not worth the commute. We tried Glendale, where we lived and let’s say.. next subject, they were worse. We finally decided to try the Subaru Monrovia location today and so glad we did.. We were pleasantly surprised about the excellent service we received. Rafael was our service department contact, he was not only friendly, but super efficient. We were able to get an appointment within two days and our car was finished in less than two hours! This will definitely be our go to service place and if we decide to get a third Subaru, we will definitely try this location first! Thanks Subaru Monrovia!
If youre anything like me a visit to the dealership/service department is nearing the top of the list of most daunting to-dos. but we found our service associate in Steven Gomez to alleviate any fears and/or concerns moving forward. Hes very kind, genuine and knowledgeable. Not just knowledgeable but able to explain foreign (car) concepts to us w/ ease. As a customer you always hear of how a company/customer support care but in the end its all lip service/transactional at best BUT not with Steven. He truly does care and so far in our many experiences w/ subaru and other car dealerships, we really admire how he conducts business with patience, zero pushiness & an overall commitment to building a strong relationship with his customers. We bought a used vehicle that we found online, we spoke to a few different people over the phone, all who were incredibly helpful. Leo ended up helping us once we got there to purchase, overall making a normally stressful situation incredibly easy and exciting. We got a great deal compared to where we were looking elsewhere. Getting real discouraged about the service department. Have to wait for a part which thought would come early but its been 6 days and counting. I called for an update but didnt get any call back. I know its busy in these times but would be nice to get even a small call or even text for a simple update

Dont recommend going here, the Salesman dont want to haggle prices on used vehicle, which I was told by one salesman the price was negotiable while test driving, and then switched the salesman, who said it wasnt. Also had my car appraised, and claim my tires were wore out tires. My tires are in very good condition, also asked me, if my car had front end damaged, when my vehicle has not been in no accidents, which they could run a carfax report themselves.My car is a 2016 SUV with good rating, they offered me less than $9000. The SUV I wanted is not a Subaru, and its a 2017, 50+miles, my vehicle miles 60,+. This is pretty much apples for apples. Yet their used veh. was listed at $7000. more then what they were offering me for my vehicle!! What rip off!!A few days ago, I was looking at another used car site when I saw the same vehicle, at the Subaru dealer, which was now priced at $1000. less...Moral of the story, dont take the 1st. Offer!!

I recently bought a Nissan NV3500 good experience with Edgar sales manager but BAD EXPERIENCE WITH LEO from finance department he changed my contract without me knowing meaning I signed a 72 month contract an at the end finance company gave me a 75 month contract. I will fight till the end😡🤬😡🤬......

Even with an appointment a simple oil change takes over 3 hours, then to just check to see what is wrong with the AC, I was asked to pay $140 for a diagnostic check, I explained it is something stuck in the fan, not a big fan their service. Will never come back this is my last time. This is not a cheap place for service, you would think they would be faster
The service department guys behind the counter are fast talking scammers. They will sell as much as they can since they get commission off of it.
Bought my car everything good. 2nd time in a row I scheduled an appointment and I show up just for them to say I never made an appointment even tho I have the Email to prove it. They then stated how they close in a hour . Its not that I didnt have an appointment they just did not want to work on my car. I saw the reviews and after talking to the sales I thought I would have a good experience but nope. I regret buying me 2020subaru outback here. Do not shop here! Go to subaru Glendale or Ontario those are the only places that take care of you. They want your money when you buy a car but dont want to work on it. Do not try your luck after seeing all the bad reviews like I did. Just dont shop here.
I was looking for a used car. James helped me out. Nice at first, however, when I declined his offer, he his demeanor completely changed. He become very quiet and rude. Not a good sales attitude. After about an hour of him stalling and wasting my time, I believe it was the sales manager, she came out and was a breath of fresh air. Anywho, she saved the day, but stated someone would contact me the following day for more information and they never did. Poor customer service.

Was going to dealerships for an oil change and called ahead of time to find out lasted time I can be there to get the oil changed. Was informed by one receptionist that if I made it before 4pm they would perform the oil change, when arrived at 3:45pm another receptionist at the time told me I had to arrive before 3pm and they couldn’t do the oil change. It’s very upsetting that they don’t have the right information among each other because I had requested time off work and lost money due to this miss information and now have to loose more money to get an oil change another day
The only good thing about this dealership is their sales associate, George. He was attentive, trustworthy, kind, and answered all of my questions/concerns. Everything else has been disappointing.

Service department review: very friendly staff,. Honest too. I wanted my normal maintenance and an alignment and the service writer let me know they had it basically half off right now. Didnt try to sell it to me for full price which was very nice. Sadly the alignment equipment was down for service, but I appreciated the honest. Waiting room is clean, free coffee and water.
I had the best experience at this dealership!I am usually the type of customer that is very intimidated by the car dealership. So I was not thrilled to have to pick out a car. I have always heard great things about Subaru. So I finally decided it was time for me to become a “Subie”. And I was recommended to this place. I was very happy with all the staff and my experience at this dealership! They gave me ample of time to test drive all the ones I am interested. Paul was extremely knowledgeable with the cars and being very up front with me what the advantages and disadvantages of each model were. And he was not pushing me and simply there to provide the knowledge I need to pick out my ideal car. Then when I was ready to make the purchase. Their manager Ellen was so patient with me and answered all my questions before I signed the paper. I got into a car accident not too long ago and decided to get a new car instead of fixing the old one. So I was a little shaken still, they even offered me to a ride home. I am so grateful I found this place. Now they have another loyal client!

A few weeks ago, I decided to call Sierra Subaru to inquire about a new Outback to replace my Forester lease. I am glad I did. Not only did they have the model with the exact features I was looking for in the color I was looking for at a great price..the whole transaction was quick, smooth and painless. John the general manager and Jordan the salesperson and the rest of the Sierra team made sure to take great care of my mom and me when we were there. They were professional, knowledgeable and gave us the VIP treatment. A very enjoyable car buying experience. If youre in the market for a car, def check Sierra Subaru out.

One of the best Subaru dealer. People are friendly. Deal negotiations are pretty straight forward; no price pinching. Willingness to get the deal done; not too much back and ford between sales and decision maker.
We were on the road and a bunch of alarm signals started blinking. We stopped at Sierra Subaru and begged that they quickly run a diagnostics to see whether it is safe to continue our ride with two little kids and a group waiting at our destination for equipment we were taking. They were weary clearly not willing to accommodate us, saying that every mechanic is working on some other car. As we drove through the service area at least 7-8 mechanics were standing around in groups not working on any car. Not the service I expected from Subaru based on the “extreme friendliness” when we purchased the car.
Bought a Subaru Outback about a year and a half ago. Very happy with it. Car came with (I think) 3 Years free service which is great. BUT any time I go in they will answer any question I have even if its an odd question. Love this dealership and the way they better our community.
Unfortunately the wait time for an oil change with an appointment was 2 hours.Other than that, it is a nice place to wait to have your car done.
My husband and I brought our Forester XT for recall corrections and noticed that both the driver and passenger headrests werent ours and loaded with greasy type of hair product film. Very disappointed and will definitely get it corrected. Also, the customer service can use some improvements.
Called to ask for battery reserve capacity spec on Outback. The 1st person at Parts Dept. could not answer, put me on hold. Then, 2nd person picked up, repeated my same question, he didnt know what it meant. On hold again. Lastly, receptionist picked up and asked me to hold. The phone kept ringing, no one wants to answer. Seems no competent service technician at this dealer who can give a simple answer about a battery specification. Go figure...I want to comment on a separate contact with the Service Dept. I stopped by the day before my Thanksgiving road trip as I noticed my coolant level was below the minimum level. I was fortunate to meet with Jordan (the service tech) who went to the back of the department, found some leftover coolant and filled to the proper level for my car. It was late of the evening and he could have asked me to come back again but his action demonstrated high level of service commitment. Therefore, I am leaving this positive note for this dealership. Keep up the good work!
Didnt have very many used cars in stock. I drove a new one to see if I liked it, however I cannot afford a new car.
I found my car online and decided to go test drive it after work. Cynthia was my salesperson. She was extremely knowledgeable of all of the cars features. After taking it on the freeway, I was eager to see if I could make the deal. After five days of research and deliberation, I decided to pull the trigger an hour before closing time. Both Cynthia and Rudy worked with me to give me a great price with a great rate. Well service was good minus the employees fighting, wow! A Male employee says to another service employee are you going to fu@#!&@ show me the other one says he was busy and the other grey shirt employee says F@!% tosses keys or something towards a computer desk area and storms out. Entertainment while getting my vehicle serviced. Almost rated a Jerry Springer episode of dealership drama. Haha oh my oh my people today.
Watch out for this place. Sales men and finance team are not held accountable for what they promise. I would not recommend the service department either. WITH an appointment they want you to be prepared to wait 4 hours for the recommended 30k mile service. Which only includes oil change, air filter, tire rotation, and brake fluid flush. With an appointment I have to block out 4 hours of my day for that? Yea we paid upfront for recommended service plan, because sales man and finance man says the 30k service cost over 700 alone. Then service writer recommends we do two other services totally 500? But that is not included. Sad thing is the service writer told my wife this same thing happened to him last week on another car. All my loyalty for this business went out the window.
Were there yesterday trying to buy a car for our son. Spend exactly 5 hrs there, all just because they were trying so hard to make a trade with other dealers for the exact car that my son wants. On top of that, they give us the best deal among all six Subaru dealers we went to. All we could say is thank you, thank you, thank you!

Stopped in to check on my headlight alignment (2020 Subaru Outback Onyx XT) After being told that I can adjust the interior lighting with the dial (not what I asked), then told not to use the high beams (not what I asked), then told that these cars are meant to be driven in the mountains and the headlight alignment cant be adjusted I gave up.Service advisors arent well trained in the vehicle tech and they dont have very good customer service skills either.Follow up: Got back to Austin, TX and visited my local dealer. The self-leveling headlights needed to be reset and were, in fact, misaligned. So Sierra Subaru doesnt actually know anything about the cars they sell and service. Keep that in mind when considering this dealer.
Bought a car from Vroom who has a 3 month/6000 mile limited warranty with Safeguard, which apparently is worthless. This car was maintained at the dealer before. There is a defect on the throt bearing and was damaged before i bought the car. Thanks to their service advisor, Steven Gomez, they declined the warranty because he failed to explain why the thot bearing failed and none of which is written or noted on the estimate. he doesnt know anything about cars. The service manager not anyone else their would fight for me or make an effort to call back and explain what they found or the cause of it. Now left with over a $2400 repair. Subarus warranties are worthless and so are anyone who has a warranty they offer. Its amazing they charge up to $6000 for a warranty service contract and will not pay a dime when something happens that was never your fault to begin with. Even called Subaru of America and they go based off of notes. Their technician apparently doesnt know how to properly explain what actually caused the problem either. I should say a lot more but next time i will make sure everyone knows Subaru doesnt back anything. Its really quite a joke. On top of it, their inspection checklist they lied on. I have pictures of when my car was serviced and some of the items they marked off as okay was not okay after having it checked on at another shop. My cabin air filter completely filthy and my air filter.

He sat and joked with us and talked about random things while we waited for our turn in financing and made the experience enjoyable and easy. I had a good experience when purchasing my 2017 Forester from Sierra Subaru. Car was ready to be test driven when I arrived. Everyone was friendly. Aaron was very good at explaining features and answering my questions. I would recommend them.
I found it suspicious that the tech that was suppose to take my car out for a drive (diagnostic test), disconnected my dash cam before he left the dealer ship. I was looking at the footage and saw his hands grabbing the camera to disconnect the power cable. It doesnt run on internal power so it eventually died. What was the motive behind that? I dont know but if there is something they dont want to owner to see then it brings up a lot of questions. I had the dash cam installed for EVIDENCE in case of a traffic collision. If they would have gone out and wrecked my car for diagnostic testing it would show who would have been at fault if anything were to happen. Lets say they were abiding by the books, why would they purposefully turn off the camera? Next time you take in your car for service, let them know that you would not want them disconnecting anything. I have uploaded the pics of the person who drove my car and his hands as he disconnected my camera. I have uploaded 2 photos of the person responsible. I’m glad my camera captured the last few moment because without it, I would have never known they perform this practice. Never coming back again.

Ive had tons of problems with this particular dealer. Incompetent service workers, broken oil pans from oil changes, and more. Was told to bring back the vehicle a certain day before 12pm to diagnose a head unit issue, so I brought the vehicle back 11am that day. Waited 30 minutes just to be helped, only to be told they couldnt see the car that day because they were too busy. Id avoid this dealer, especially their service center, at all costs. Terrible.
Theyre going through a remodel right now but even through that David Truong still managed to have an upbeat personality. Very friendly salesperson and didnt get upset at me wanting to test drive a bunch of cars. Will definitely be back!
I am quite disappointed in the service department. I had a fantastic experience buying my car a month ago and love the vehicle. The only hitch was we only received one key. After following up over the next few weeks I was excited when I received a call for the arrival of the 2nd key. We set an appointment for Saturday and I arrived on time to the busy service department. When I was approached for help, I was told I did not have an appointment. The young woman helping us tried her best, but couldnt find the appointment. When she approached her co-worker I overheard him rudely say it would be awhile. When I I explained that I received a call that my key had arrived, he continued in a rude tone and yelled across the room Well whos paying for the key? This was particularly upsetting because I indeed paid for the key when I bought the vehicle and was already inconvenienced by waiting a month for the 2nd key and now Im being yelled at across the service department when I followy through on an appointment and Sierra Subaru clearly did not. The young lady looked up my information and found that the appointment indeed was set, but had not been communicated to the service department and gave us another appointment. While she was helpful in a difficult situation, it doesnt excuse the demeaning tone her co-worker took with a customer who is now is considering other dealerships since I have a service contract
Customer service is good. parts and labor are more expensive than other service centers. No car wash. Two time I have been here they always finish my car an hour later than the estimated time.

Very bad experience. Was trying to buy a 2017 outback with finance there. They ran my credit check at least 3 times without my consent, I didnt know it until I got mail notification from bank. Not sure if this kind of abusement will be counted as several hard inquires, but my credit score dropped a lot after that. I called them to have an explanation but get no feedback. Eventually get my outback from another dealer with more reasonable price and better experience.

This is literally the worst drop off experience Ive had! I do my drop off at 7:41am. They took my car, ask for my keys, asked a couple questions and I signed some documents. The usually. Then I asked for a service that they offer which is to get shuttled to my house (about a mile or so away). They guy without checking says by the time his driver gets around to shuttling me the car would be so done without even checking (note: car would take over 2 hours to be done). I said okay but please check anyway. Ive used the service before and it has never taken more than a 30 min wait! Problem is I dont believe that he even checked or call for the shuttle. Then I went to the waiting area where there was no coffee or any sign hospitality in this place! 8:45am Mia and still waiting!!!
Take my car in for first 6k miles oil change and they forgot to put the oil cap on. We found out 4 days later, and brought the car back. They cleaned it and apologized but said that they have to replace the hood cover that they don’t have in stock. It has been over a month and no one followed up on this part. Hope there is no damage on the car engine. It will be nice is someone will follow up and make it up to us for this stupid mistake.

I recently purchased a 2017 Subaru Outback and all I can say is I am EXTREMELY pleased with my experience with my dealer, Ethan Amaral, as well as all the staff members I encountered at Sierra Subaru (including Arielle Purugganan). The day prior I was looking at an Outback at a used car dealership in Covina. I had a horrible experience and walked out just before signing the contract (talk about a dishonest used car salesman). My first mistake was... I didnt go to Sierra Subaru first! Ethan did not try to hit me with any hidden fees as the other dealership had. He was honest and fair, and explained EVERYTHING! The finance gentleman really worked with me to get me the best deal possible! I actually walked out paying less than what I expected. I am one happy camper!Speaking of camper... I tested out my car that weekend (camping, of course), and it was the smoothest ride EVER. The EyeSight feature is AMAZING! I have never felt so safe in a vehicle, and I have driven in a Tesla! This car is exactly everything I wanted, and more.If you are looking to get yourself an incredible vehicle, you really need to check out the fine people at Sierra Subaru first!
