1st visit today and I like it here. We went to buy their ready made fried chicken (8pcs for $4.99) which tastes better than popeyes (in my opinion). We also bought the Hickory Smoked Boston Butt ($19.98) really good too. We bought some JJ Pies ($.59) its too sweet for my palate.. but its okay, surely kids will like it. This market has meats, veggies, snacks etc.. I would say prices is okay but besides the tax, they put like an additional charge for something. It was indicated in the receipt.. thats the only thing that I didnt understand the purpose. Well visit again for sure. I really enjoyed the fried chicken and the NOT CROWDED ambiance here.

Piggly Wiggly has excellent prices on produce, poultry and smoked meats like ham hocks. They actually stock Wrights Liquid Smoke. The very best liquid smoke you can buy in America. The people working there are very friendly and smile. I recommend this store.

The manager was stocking shelves and cutting boxes. He stopped what he was doing to help us find what we needed. We didnt even ask. I think he saw the confusion on our faces 😂 Wonderful customer service!

The staff are all very friendly here. For the past 3 years, Ive been looking for a particular wine ( Salt of the Earth) but no store in Alabama carried it. I finally was able to get a wine store to order it for me last year. Well, one day I walked in Piggly Wiggly and saw it sitting on their shelves, so I bought some. I came back a week later but they didnt have any more. After talking to the manager, he told me that it wasnt a wine that they normally carry, but hell start keeping it in stock for me. Now when I go in, its on the shelves most of the time and I buy a few bottles each time. If you like Electra Moscato, then youll love Salt of the Earth. Try it.

The meat use to be more plentiful, more variety, and looked better.. but still excellent pricing on 🐔 🍗 quarters... I snagged a family pack for $2.21 .. Yup, you read that right! Large cannisters of a variety of seasonings & herbs on their $1.00 aisle.

This is definitely the place to come around here for craft beer. HUGE selection. Plus the store is super clean. Oh, and theres groceries too if youre into that sort of thing.

Hoping the residents and surrounding area continue to support this establishment. It is accessible for the communities and our elders really need a closer option to shop like Piggly Wiggly. Great customer service, and even have an very easy guide printed up to help you find what you looking for. Only issue I have is the meat items not having enough meat in the packages for the prices! Maybe if we increase supporting them by shopping that will change! I also asked for community support, like helping able to donate to my volunteer organization, Therapy Buddies Neighborhood Care Team-Neighbors Helping Neighbors, to feed our elders, disabled and veterans food pantry by donating canned food items, but at this time they were unable to! I know once they are on solid ground they will give back to the community. Was happy to see the cancer grocery bags, because it is one of my passions to support! Getting skin care products baskets ready for the holidays for cancer patients and survivors. They skin goes through changes and they need skin care products that passes the test for excellence! But thank you Piggly Wiggly for supporting them.

It much much cleaner than the one on Fairview. They had a good selection on meats and they were reasonably priced. The only thing that I didnt like that they charged a 10% surcharge.

Probably closer to a 3 1/2 than a 4, but all in all it is a good store with good prices. There is a good selection of dry goods and drinks. It is clean and the workers are helpful. My biggest complaint is its lack of variety in the produce department, though it could be the season.

We love the Pig! They are a great addition to the grocery scene in Montgomery and carry some items I look for the Public is too uppity to carry. One thing is Allegros Game Tame and Hot & Spicy marinades for making great venison jerky. Publix has the product too but only carried the Original, Hickory Smoke and Terriaki. The Pig is the Original American grocery store and I shop there out of a little bit of patriotic respect for the brand. God Bless America! 🇺🇸

Meat department is decent. The prices arent that high. And the building doesnt stink like it did when it was winn Dixie. They do have a surcharge though. So thats 10% more. Thats the only reason I almost never shop here.

My review is for the floral department. I received flowers for my birthday from a friend who purchased them from this store. They were very fresh and very pretty and lasted 2 weeks before starting to wilt. I was amazed! I would definitely recommend this floral department !

Piggly Wiggly has been one of my favorite grocery stores for decades. The staff is always very friendly and I have gotten to know many of them on a personal level. The store is clean and well lit. Their pricing policy of cost + 10% + tax makes their prices somewhat competitive with the big stores. Their rotisserie chickens ($4.99) and their smoked ribs ($4.99 half-rack or $8.99 full-rack) arrive at about 10:30 am. The meats in their meat department are always of very high quality but the prices are very low. I have no idea how they do it.
