I was very pleased in the way I was treated as a customer. From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable and not stressed out while talking to the gentleman at the desk.The staff members were very friendly and helpful with my Lawnmower situation.The staff members kept me informed of what they found wrong and advised me as to what it would take to fix it.After the mechanic took a closer look at the problem(which I really appreciated)it made me feel much better. It told me that this is a company that can be trusted!!I feel as though I got a very good price for the work that was done.VERY GOOD PEOPLE!!

This place does not have the best service. They start cutting the equipment makers in which they service, the list keeps dropping.

This is a our go to place for supplies and especially blades for our Bad Boy Lawnmower. They have the best price anywhere in Montgomery. We always find what we need. They employees are very helpful all the time. We will be most happy to recommend Lewis Lawn Equipment to all of our family and friends.

I took my Honda push mower here since other local repair shops couldnt fix my issues to my satisfaction. Not only did Lewis Lawn Equipment fix my issue and performed my annual service, they adjusted the self-propelled drive system without me asking; I dont think it worked that well since it was new. While this shop is out of the way for me, its worth the drive. Also, Im not sure if this business is veteran owned, but it is veteran operated and the pride in their work shows. Their prices are more than reasonable, their service is top notch. I will be back!

Be aware that when they give you a quote for labor time they can be way off. Quoted us 30 minutes of labor and then charged for an hour. Had I known it would have taken their mechanic that long to replace a simple part, I could have done it faster myself. Honestly never would have left it with them if they labor would have been more than 30 minutes because I could have bought a new pole saw at that point. Definitely wont be back!

I will never use these people again, they ripped me off on my service, they charged me for parts I did not need !

Did service on my Craftsman tractor mower. Excellent job! Will use them again. Superb early season free pickup/delivery program

Charged $100 to install a belt (my belt) but did not notice the frozen idler arm, pulley, and bearings that caused the belt to fail. Mower could not be used at all until extensive work was done by another shop.

Had mower serviced for spring, replaced mower deck spindle, new blades, oil change, etc. . Ticket over $400. When my brother-in-law picked it up and brought it home trouble started. Blades hit deck because of wrong size blades installed. Now the cutting deck belt keeps coming off because spindles not installed properly. Terrible service.

Toro dealer also excellent at servicing my Honda mower. Cheerful desk service, good mechanics and helpful with advice. They promised a two day turnaround which I feared was optimistic but they delivered in one day for less than the $99 I expected. The spare blades sharpened for an extra $6 per blade were extremely sharp and evenly machined. The mower which was in sad shape beforehand, was returned nicely clean. They were very fair in telling me not to have service done on an old whacker/edger because the parts would not be available and the machine not working the cost. Overall, exactly what you hope for in professional mower service.

I was in a bind and possibly need a new mower that day. If they cannot be open Saturdays I will get my new mower from someone who needs the business.

I purchased a zero turn mower from a box store and it needed repair, so I took it to Lewis. They preformed the warranty work fast. The replacement parts for that mower have been defective from the factory. I have had the same part replace 3 times over the past 4 years and every time Toro has covered the repair free of charge. I dont know if Toro, Lewis or a combination of both; but in any case, I have been pleased. I have also purchase other equipment from them as a result.

I called the OTHER guys first. All they talked about was how much, and are you alright with this amount or that? By the way, he said, It will be $40.00 to pick up and $30.00 to deliver it. I said, Im less than a mile from you, so I will drive it to you. Then I called Lewis. C.J. and I talked, without ever mentioning money. They pick my mower up for its first service on the day they said, and delivered it back on the day they said. The man left the invoice. I called and asked the method of payments they accepted, C.J. said, Just put a check in the mail when you have time!!!! I say its about time SOMEONE put CUSTOMER back in customer service. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE all around!!! If you dont use Lewis for your lawn equipment needs, you are just throwing money away!!! (Maybe you have it to throw away!) Finally, to the LOCAL GUIDES Post below, FINNEY I ask you sir, Who wants CHEAP??? I want an honest price for the goods and services I am receiving. Save CHEAP for your, your, your...Well anyway.

Couldnt get an air filter in a timely manner or decent, polite customer service from a local Husqvarna dealer located in Prattville and thats as close as Ill get to naming that business. Dont go there! Lewis isnt a Husqvarna dealer (would be great if they were) but they had the OEM part I needed and four dollars cheaper than that other place. Also recently bought a fuel filter from a well know Stihl dealer on Perry Hill road for my Still blower. They charged me five bucks for a cheap cotton fuel filter that sells for 50 cents on eBay. Excuse me but I go to places like this because I want original parts and I want them yesterday and I want to deal with real people not ebay! Lewis gave me the Stihl OEM filter for less than the other place gave me the aftermarket junk part. Now if they would add Husqvarna to their already impressive list of brands they sell they would be perfect.
