Nice little dessert shop in downtown Mooresville. We enjoyed our milkshake and shaved ice.

The single scoop sugar cone filled with yummy chocolate is the perfect ending to any work day. This is THE best place for real ice cream anywhere in the area.

The kids absolutely love it here. The ice cream and menu options are great. The shop is small, but definitely enough room to sit down. love it

Cute little downtown ice cream place. When you visit you could always taste the ice cream before you order it.Also the young lady that helped us today is super sweet even though another customer was making her job difficult.

Out of ice cream wanted and didnt let u know until decision made Andrade to select all over again but courteous and ice creM delicious.

This place is a hit or miss. Last time I went the ice cream had a gritty texture. The gentleman working happily changed the flavor out for me. This time there was a middle aged woman running the counter who was not very friendly or welcoming. My mothers ice cream tasted old and had a weird texture. And one of the flavors I sampled had a gritty texture.I recommend trying the flavor before getting it. It may not be fresh/good.

Such a cute spot! The lady was so sweet and gave all the little girls beaded necklaces! My ice cream was gritty but I didn’t mind it still tasted good! My daughter had hers all over her face so I’d say she enjoyed hers!

Way overpriced for what you get. Wife ordered cookies and cream and there was no cookies. Not sure how they passed that off but it is what it is. Will not be back and dont recommend. Just go to brusters. Way more bang for your buck.

I chose to visit Mooresville Ice Cream Shop because of all the positive reviews. Now Im really confused there are so many that think this place has good ice cream. Its awful, cheap quality cream and they are not friendly either. Ugh. Dont let the reviews fool you.

Oh my goodness very disappointed I moved away from Mooresville three years ago I had to come up on business I thought Id take a friend of mine to go eat some of the ice cream downtown Deluxe went in looking for one of those orange dream popsicles they had a whole new different type of popsicle and ice cream didnt even look the same I figured it out on my own got to be new management because of none of the good ice cream that we used to get it wasnt there anymore and I was right when the lady said New Management people used to stand outside sit on the benches and eat ice cream things show change funny food is nowhere the way it used to be I guess Ima have to go back to making my own ice cream like we did years ago very disappointed wont be going back

This place is awesome and they have all kinds of different flavors cones and toppings. This ice cream shop is the epitome of the Old Country ice cream shop on the corner of town. It just has that old-world feel to it not to mention it is absolutely delicious the people here are really nice its a very kid friendly environment all around a good spot to hang out at if youre ever in the area I strongly suggest going by for a cone or a cup of ice cream any day of the week.

Walk in the door the man behind the counter doesnt say a word but motions by pointing to his facemask. Not another soul was in the palor. Ask if a mask had to be worn. His answer, Well its required. Pelicans is just down the road😉

Such a cool refreshment for a hot day - and with the mask and 6ft. rules being instigated properly, all the varieties of scoopable flavors and diet-requirements able to be met, these delights will definitely please EVERY palate!

I tried their fudge ripple for the first time tonight. They should take ripple out of the title! There was a scant amount of something that favored chocolate, but the amounts were very small. Nothing close to swirls youd expect to see in real fudge ripple. The vanilla ice cream base was ice milk quality at best.If you want real ice cream, head on over to Brewsters for the best in the Mooresville area.This ice cream did not come from the retail store, mine was in their pint containers.

Love the old fashion appeal and the tin ceiling is beautiful! The staff is very friendly and sociable. Before we made our ice cream choices we were able to get samples. It was a hard choice as so many were tasty, but I got mint chocolate chip and my daughter got Cookie Monster.

There ice cream is really good but they now serve boba tea and its a joke their not even using the right size straw for it for one and on top of that they throw flavored boba balls into a styrofoam cup (same one as for the milk shakes) then they pour true leaf sweet tea in it put a lid on it and call it boba which it is not. if you want real boba go somewhere else for it

We go here often. Many flavors are always out of stock. I wish they would either just take them down or get them back in stock. I recommend the extra cream flavors. They are the best flavors I have tried.

Went in w/our 2 grandsons. Place was busy, one employee working(1 girl on a stool and a small child behind the counter). She was friendly enough, but I ordered 2 scoops for the kids and she only did 1 scoops. The place was not very clean and there werent any paper towels in the bathroom. 😑

Good place to get some DeLuxe ice cream. I had no idea it was from Mooresville before coming here. It could be a little cleaner but other than that it is a well run store.

Who cares if it is own by Latin company. It has the old days appeal.That is what the city is doing to make our town like out it use to be when times were more simple.. I like the idea of getting ice cream at a parlour. The ice cream is yummy and the staff is friendly. Getting ice cream at a shop like our parents once did, is what makes it exciting. Good for Mooresville....

Best ice cream. Reminded me of going there in the early 90s and had my picture in the Tribune. It was just like I remembered. My sis says banana is best but I think cookies and cream is better.

My fiance went and bought my daughter and I some milkshakes my daughter had a delicious chocolate shake made just perfect my fiance thinks it was the owners daughter who made hers but the girl that made mine he said she acted stuck up and act like she didnt want to be there and rushing him out of the store I was supposed to have a peanut butter brownie blizzard shake or something like that but instead we paid 6 dollars for peanut butter milk yeah just plain gross our first time in the store and it will be our last time at the store I couldnt even enjoy mine made me vomit and I threw it in the trash thanks for letting us down

Great place! Friendly staff! Just noticed hours are incorrect on website. We almost didnt stop because website said they closed at 7. Drove by anyway and theyre actually opened 12pm-10pm on Fri and Sat. Open 12pm-8pm Sunday-Thursday.. as of 6/7/19.

Very good ambiance for an ice cream parlor. Im used to a very creamy iced cream and this was not. This may just be a regional thing as I am not from the area. 2 on taste 4 on overall feel averages to a 3.

My wife and I went in on a Saturday night after dinner. First impressions, staff clearly didnt want to be there. Especially the girl who was working man, suck it up and put on a smile. RBF is an understatement. The ice cream was good. I had the Espresso Chip which was the perfect after dinner flavor. My wife enjoyed herself too.

Quaint place with a great product. Good assortment of flavors, but simple menu. Rewarding place for the kids after doing something worth rewarding with a sweet treat.

So disappointing. Made a trip here based on good reviews. They were out of almost half the flavors listed. Finally decided on a hot fudge sundae, and the girl pulls out a plastic smuckers hot fudge container that you buy at the grocery store. Ended up with chocolate ice cream, and half way through it was icy, like freezer burn. Will not go back.

A great small business with alot of great options. They do not have any non dairy options though but that is just like most places. They have a huge chalk board to pick from. A great ice cream place and you get to support a small business.

I am originally from Hershey Pennsylvania .. saying that I grew up on ice cream is an understatement .. the 1st time I was here I had Nanas Banana ice cream and I instantly fell in love ! This place has become my families summer staple .. the staff is always smiling and more than willing to help answer any question you may have .. I am sure the other flavors of ice cream are just as good but I cant bring myself to try anything else because Nanas Banana is just that good ! Everytime I leave I cant wait until its time to go back for more 😊

Best ice cream around! We came here everyday for a week straight! My brother lives in North Carolina but i am from Iowa and already look forward to coming back this summer! Even when they were busy they were fast and a very nice staff! Highly recommend it here if your looking for a nice summer treat!

Average. The ice cream was not creamy and I felt like the add-ins were low quality. I got a vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cups & a fudge ribbon. I did not encounter one peanut butter cup in my small size and I thought the fudge tasted very much like Hersheys syrup, which I do not like. My 16 year-old also expressed his dismay with his peach ice cream, as hes had better at Southern Treats in Troutman, NC and they dont even make there own ice cream.

Oldest operating creamery in NC. One of the best around! The banana split is killer and the Cheerwine Float (made with Black Cherry ice cream is delicious! You will want to try all the flavors.

Great ice cream- lots of flavors and toppings available. It’s such a fun place to go in downtown, beautiful historic building (check out the ceiling if you get a chance).

This used to be known as Deluxe Ice Cream... a change in ownership a few years ago. The ice cream is made at the lcation, tours can be scheduled. You can purchase anything from a scoop to a 5 gallon container. The black cherry has real cherries in it, and was my grandfathers favorite.

Sweet find. Nine of us went in for ice cream. The ice cream was great. Service was friendly. One of the tables was terribly wobbly so we were afraid to move. Been there a long time has interesting memorabilia around.

I always enjoy locally made goodies and theirs is one of the best tasting ice cream.
