They had 25% off hats and buy one get one 50% off t-shirts. Fye sells every pop culture item you could dream of. Our cashier was very attentive and nice. They recommended I sign up for the backstage VIP pass. It gives me 10% off each Fye purchase, $5 movie tickets, and discounts at other partnered stores. They also do dvd and cd trade ins.

They have alot of movies but they are high priced

When I had gotten to the store for kpop albums, they were very overpriced. There was an Astro album for $92.99. It was ridiculous. For a store that sells music they had a small music section and the prices were ridiculous.

Brian (salesperson 269218) decided to auto enroll me in a *free* magazine subscription for two months thatll auto draft once I forget about it. Do you guys really support that type of shady business practice where you dont disclose any of that to your customer and you dont even ask their permission for something like that? I wont be returning to this location since your employees are basically trying to scam people.

Some of the stuff was interesting and fairly priced.

I used to buy my Kpop albums there until about 2 years ago when they extremely raised the price on Jonghyuns postmortem album and his group SHINees previous albums to $50.00. To explain further, the other kpop albums they sell are usually $25-$30 and other stores/websites sell it for around $20-$25. His label, SM Entertainment, was selling it on their website for $20. They purposely jacked up the price to make a large profit off of his death. I WILL NOT SUPPORT AN ESTABLISHMENT WHO USES SOMEONES SUICIDE TO MAKE A PROFIT!

Employees at this location become dismissive, if not down right rude when you dont want to hear about the FYE membership. Getting you to sign up is an actual condition of employment at FYE so it is understandable that they would try, but a refusal should not result in poor treatment. This has happened to me the last two times at this location and it hasnt happened at other locations. This location has significant ly reduced their music inventory.

It was okay. If your interested in something for everyone type retail items at a discount this store is for you.

They have a lot of random cool stuff! Mostly pop culture related.

They dont have a ton of floor space and the organization can be a little bit confusing sometimes, but FYE has one of the best in-store collections of CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Rays in the Muncie area. Really great range of boxed sets. There are classics and contemporary options available. Prices are average, but there are often some good sales and discounts.

Best place to get headphones and anything else

My review is based on 5-6 visits which Ive made to this particular location. First off their merchandise (DVDs/Blurays, CDs/Vinyl, T-shirts, action figures/collectibles & just a variety of geek/pop culture/entertainment misc items) are rather expensive compared to bigger, more price-competitive retailers. Although I will say that there are occasional deals/reasonable clearance items to be had if one is persistent & looks hard enough. They have a huge variety of overpriced consumer media, which appeals to certain niche markets.But this pricing strategy alone isnt the main reason for my low rating. During the half dozen trips Ive made to this mall store, Ive only been greeted/inquired about (i.e. Do you need any help) twice by their sales staff. Clearly the F.Y.E. sales associates dont care about their customers or people browsing the store. When I think of this retailer, the first thing that pops into my head is the abysmal customer service by their uninvolved, apathetic employees. I admit Ill still stop by this merchant if I happen to be at the Muncie Mall, but I go in with extremely low to no expectations.

I can find all the music that I listen to when I was younger. And they have a lot of old movies that I like to watch .

Has a lot of in stuff. However their prices are steep. If you are apart of thief club that you can use at a lot of different stores it does help, but still.
