When I thought I had to go out and buy a new iPhone, Mundelein Computer Guys came to the rescue and cleaned out the charging port on my iPhone 6 and installed a new battery for such a reasonable price and same day (2 hours) service. Highly recommend!!

For the second time in two months, I have had to take my wifes laptop in for repair. Once for a broken screen (thanks to our dog) and this time because the hard-drive had just worn out. Quick service, fair prices and great advice... answered all my questions. Repairs were slightly under their estimates both times. 10/10 will be back.

Brought my laptop in to see what got damaged on it when I spilled coffee on it. And they laughed at me, wouldn’t help me and gave me any excuse not to look at it or work. Lazy and super freaking rude. Do not even try to bring your stuff in.

Hands down the best place to take your computer or cell phone. My son broke the screen on his I-phone....ON MEMORIAL DAY!!! We took it to Matt and even though he was closed for the holiday he came in to fix it. He had the screen fixed and back to my son within an hour. I brought my gaming PC to these guys for a blue screen issue, and they got me all straightened out. I took it to 3 other people before them, only to spend 600 bucks on parts and labor that didnt fix it. I highly recommend these guys.

We have taken things there for years, from PCs to tablets, phones, etc . . . I always feel that Im getting an honest appraisal of the situation. You dont want to drop off your electronics and feel as if youre being taken advantage of. Screen repairs done quickly too. (sadly i know this 3 times over!!)

The Guys were incredibly helpful. They got rid of malware on my computer within two business days and had it working back to its normal self. Plus they were friendly, very fair with their pricing, they took time (not to mention plenty of patience with me!) to answer all of my questions, and they recommended incredible antivirus software. I brought in a computer because it was very very slow. They called it was ready and the cost was 100 dollars. They didnt comment if it was any better. I used it quit a bit and it wasnt one second faster. I get if there work didnt improve but at that cost they could of let me know. If they didnt understand the solution I would of liked to have a heads up.Im just 100 dollars poorer is all I can say about their service.

Not much of a tech guy so I took my computer to these guys. They handled everything smoothly, explained everything in detail what was wrong with my computer and did it in a timely manner. Will definitely will do business with this company again 👍

They have now saved two of my older desktop computers just before the hard drives failed completely. They upgraded the memory and in one case were able to repurpose another computer for a rebuild. I like the fact that they try to reuse and repair computer components that still have remaining useful function rather than tossing them away. It makes much more sense to me than constantly replacing electronics and throwing the old computers away entirely.They communicate well and the prices that they charge are very fair. They experienced a delay in getting an HDMI card for one of my rebuilds, but still were able to figure out a customer oriented solution. I would highly recommend them. They will also send used electronics for responsible recycling. They have many rebuilt laptops and notebooks for sale at reasonable prices. Check them out!

Computer Guys are awesome! Had connection issues with a laptop, I-Pad and I-Phone that another source worked on for many hours without resolving the problem. Matt worked on it for 45 minutes and got everything up and running. World class quality, price and delivery. Give them a call if you need IT help.

Need the hard drive cleaned up because of a breach. They ran active Virus/Malware/Spyware and cleaned up the computer. They said 1 day to do this and they did. Great job!!

I had a solid state hard drive (my boot drive) crash, Windows 7 blue screen error. The store was very busy (I now know why), so it took 3 days to get to my computer. I spoke with the owner about potential options, and while I was essentially told I needed to upgrade to Windows 10 (it is end-of-life soon anyway), I figured that my hardware was too old to adequately support Windows 10 and I would need to have them build me a new PC. When they had completed the work ahead of me and got to my system, they diagnosed my issue in a couple of hours. Turns out that I had a dying regular hard drive that had corrupted the boot sector in my SSD. Rather than upselling me on the need for a new PC, they told me that they could recover my boot SSD to one of their drives, reformat my SSD, test it, and move my files back, but install Win 10. Luckily, Win 10 found all of the drivers to support my older hardware. They were also able to recover all of the files from my dying regular hard drive! This was all for a very reasonable couple hundred dollars. The piece of mind to get my machine back with everything intact, while I got great and honest advice, is something that you cant get from a Big Box store. These guys are honest, extremely knowledgeable, great at explaining the issues and solutions. I will use them EVERY time I need them, and I will recommend them to anyone who needs the same. As good as it gets. Thanks!

Awesome!!Mundelein Computer Guys has been servicing my 20+ business PCs for years. I like that they have an office with normal business hours. Our previous techs were home based and often difficult to get ahold of. All jobs have been completed in a very timely manner as well. Their customer service is great; the employees are helpful and friendly and good at explaining things without a lot of technical mumbo jumbo.Also, I recently had a problem with my I phone screen. I brought it into their store and they replaced the screen in about 30 minutes.Very satisfied customer.

On Tuesday night, while on a walk, I answered my phone. I then proceeded to miss my pocket and drop my iphone 6 plus. It fell flat on its face and the screen broke and became a web of glass. On Wednesday morning I brought my phone to Mundelein Computer Guys. The technician could not have been more friendly and promised that the phone would be fixed and ready for pickup in one hour. I received a call from the technician an hour later and was told that the phone was ready for pickup. The phone was ready, fixed flawlessly (with oem quality parts), at a price that was lower than anyone else I contacted, and I left relieved. You hope to never need to replace a broken screen, however, if you do I can not recommend Computer Guys more highly.

Took a laptop there to diagnose random reboots. They said the HDD was failing. I replaced the hard drive with a brand new SSHD, exact same problem persisted. They also wanted $212 for a new hard drive with cloning and installation. Spoke with another tech elsewhere and they said that Mundelein Computer Guys are either completely wrong in their diagnosis, or flat out lying.

Great knowledge base, fantastic communication, and you cant beat the service level. I have had several companys ive used in the past and mundelein computer guys has blown me and my company away with there skill sets, and solving the real needs.
