Always very helpful on the phone and via email. Great communicators and willing to work with your schedule when needing to pick things up. These guys are the experts, and really can find you anything you’d need. On top of that, their prices are very competitive with other vendors and online. Repeat customer here. Open Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5:30 PM and closed on Saturday and Sunday.

I just finished up my second OME lift kit install from Cruiser Outfitters in the last 2 weeks. Bryce and company at the shop made sure they asked all the right questions (intended use, planned weight from accessories, etc) when the kits were purchased. Not only is their service and knowledge top notch, but they seem to have many more parts on the shelf, where others are quoting days or weeks. I am lucky enough to live 10 minutes from their shop. With my 40 install, OME had a mis-drilled part in my shackle kit. A message to Kurt yielded an invite to the shop on Saturday (normally closed) to grab a new piece to finish up my install. You can’t do better than that! Cruiser Outfitters will always get my business.

Review updated:They keep making mistakes. Error after error. Got sent the wrong replacement parts. And also sent rusty parts. Huge delays in building my 80 series due to bad management on their end. Review changed to 3 stars. Customer support is decent but I need a company that does things right in the first place. I clearly specific what parts (with part numbers) I need replaced and how they can avoid parts rusting during shipping but dont listen. Maybe theyve got new hands in the back of the warehouse messing things up? Not sure.

The crew over at Cruiser Outfitters seem like a decent, helpful bunch and for the most part things went smoothly up until finalizing my order. As shipping for my order was going to be calculated, the gentleman handling my order instructed me that I would be contacted prior to processing and would receive a call to confirm the final price.After leaving a voicemail without me returning their call it seems that was the green light for Cruiser Outfitters to go ahead and process my order. Once I saw this notification and returned their call I was berated by a gentleman that seemed to be the owner as he took this very personally. I received a beautiful, long winded lecture about how I was at fault for their mistake, that I was somehow receiving pleasure from their team having to unpack some boxes which shouldnt have been shipped in the first place, and by placing me on some secret industry do not sell to list.As a small business owner myself, I am not writing this review to argue with anyone as it seems this gentleman is very headstrong, good for him, but to highlight whether right or wrong customer service comes first. People make mistakes but its the manner in which you address these issues is what separates the decent companies from the great ones.

Fantastic place to get great parts and Landcruiser information

I am thankful for Kurt Williams and the team at Cruiser outfitters for help with a recent project. They were able to receive my axle shafts and install them in the birfield joints, same day. This was probably the hardest challenge Ive encountered and they did it with ease! Very professional and helpful folks who didnt make you feel as if you were wasting their time on the phone. I manage a repair shop down in Orem. We took apart an old land cruiser axle not knowing just how much work it was going to need. Turned out the damage was extensive. I went into the disassembly assuming that I was going to have to take the vehicle apart to inspect, order parts. wait 3-5 days with the vehicle taking up a bay... NOPE! Cruiser outfitters had everything I needed in stock. Excellent pricing, and their salesperson was super helpful and actually pointed out that the parts I was ordering were in a kit available for much cheaper! Seriously grateful to have them so close. Great experience with Bryce and Chris on getting my lift for my LX 470. They were able to get me the exact setup that would work best for my usage. They had the parts in stock and I was able to pick up after setting an appointment. They even helped me load the parts into my car. Kurt is also excellent. He seems to be everywhere present through online forums and groups answering questions and providing help. These guys deserve all the support and praise they get.

I switched to 4:56 gears per the company’s recommendation and I have never looked back. While I was having the work done I also added an ARB rear locker. I bought a knuckle rebuild kit and new birfields for my 80 series from cruiser outfitters last week and I cant think of a better customer service experience Ive ever had. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. There were several unique cruisers to drool over while there as a bonus, I didnt want to leave. Landcruiser parts arent cheap but I found cruiser outfitters pricing VERY reasonable for being a specialty shop with the parts in stock sitting on a shelf when you need them.
