LOVE Garden Gate!We got LVP & the most amazing, heavenly carpet and are in love (we literally want to sleep on the floor all the time).1. You will not find better prices anywhere else.2. Patience is key. They’re busy and you may need to wait a bit. Wait your turn and it’ll be worth it.3. Remember they’re closed from 12-1 for lunch.4. When price matching, be sure to realize the difference between sq feet and yardage. (Home Depot or lowe’s will *sound* cheaper but in reality, they’re typically buckets and buckets more expensive!)5. They can set you up with installers but those installers are subcontractors not employed by Garden Gate.6. They’ve been in business for a long time and for a reason.7. You will also not find anyone that GIVES as much as this business! From charities, foundations, and the needy, they’re the most charitable folks around.

These guys are super responsive, their prices are very reasonable, they do a high quality job, and are very kind! If you reach out to them, they will take good care of you.My cute little puppy decided to destroy some carpet right before we listed our house for sale (see picture). So I texted these guys at 6pm. They responded within 15 min to answer all my questions and to tell me that they would follow up with me the next day to see when they could squeeze in my small job. He totally kept his commitment and texted me at 8am the next morning to let me know someone could come that afternoon! He was so responsive and so responsible!The couple that came to fix my carpet was so nice to me and they were so kind to each other. They did a quick and quality job. I am super impressed with this company!

They installed my carpet I bought through them. The carpet looks great however the fitting the installation the installers broke a closet door and damaged the trim. There has been a chair that would prevent the door from being opened far enough to damage it before and after they left, so the only time out could have been broken was while they were installing carpet. The owner didn’t respond to an email and then when I did get ahold of him he said his guys didn’t do it

I was told by Brad I will never sell you anything so dont bother coming here again. I paid for half of my LVP that I was told would be there by the weekend. I called on Monday to check and was told by a worker there, that it would for sure be there by Wed. We prepped our entire basement going on that information. I called back on Tuesday and spoke with a lady that said That shipment wont be in till the end of March(That was Feb 23). She told me there were other options they had in stock, she was even nice enough to send me pics. I went into the store 1st thing the next morning to find Brad working the store front area alone. He gave me some options and I thought we were having an adult conversation. I chose something of the same quality that I ordered but the price was about 500 more. So I asked him if he could work with me on this because we chose the 1st floor that fit into the budget our insurance was giving us to repair the damaged basement floor. He said his prices were already good and I agreed but I told him that we wouldnt have prepped the basement and lined up the company to lay the floor if we knew we needed to wait until the end of March. Then its like he snapped. He told me he would refund me and I could go somewhere else. I said I didnt want to go anywhere else there wasnt time. The guys laying the floor wanted to come pick up the LVP within the hour. He said I dont play games to which I told him Im not playing any kind of game I just dont like being lied to about the time frame. If they would have been upfront and told me it would be a while then I could have waited. I said fine Ill pay the extra $500. but dont expect a good review. Then he went crazy. Told me he wasnt selling me anything ever. Refused to sell me the LVP. He gave me a full refund. This is a real experience that happened, I dont think its a one off.I have noticed many of the complaints about this place have been from women?Brad you do have good prices but there is more to life than $.I hope you will be less rude to your customers going forward.

I have actually used Garden gate twice now and they have good prices. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered from them I paid for extra carpet and asked that they leave it at my house during the install. The carpet was not left there as requested. Ive called several times to resolve this issue. The first time, I was assured that they would make it right. The last time I called they said there was no record of my $3000 order, I told them Id be happy to provide the receipt and to let me know if that was necessary. They have not returned my texts or phone calls since then. UPDATE: Refunded and changed rating to starts.

The owner Brad and connie are the 2 nicest people that you will ever meet. I have been dealing with them for 5 years now, he goes beyond to help people ...and its hard to even belive some of these reviews, BEST prices around and its fun to be around them..thanks

Well we have used them in the past, but never again, my wife got a run around about when they would be here. They were scheduled several weeks ago, the installers told there boss they could not find the house when they were parked in front of it. The did not reinstall doors they removed, they damaged the baseboard and walls. In short a very negative experience.

The quality of carpet we got from Garden Gate Wholesale Flooring beat the Home Depot by a LONG shot, and for a MUCH better price.They were very nice and willing to take the time to go through carpet options with my wife and me. No extra fees or random charges. One price for carpet, padding, delivery and a quality installation.Theyre schedule was packed so we originally scheduled for a date 2 weeks away, but we informed them the sooner the better. They called us a couple days later informing us that a spot had opened up and we got our carpet installed the next day.

I would like to share my experience of Garden Gate Wholesale Flooring. Ive been working on a remodel of our home for a good year and a half. This has entailed fixing up, and remodeling not 5, 10, but yes, 18 rooms, and three staircases. This was no small project.I did look elsewhere, but because of the great service, I couldnt get myself to go to the competitors. I will not say that Garden Gate followed up with me on anything, but I take it they are so busy that the quantity of carpet they sell doesnt allow them to do so--they probably have too much volume to deal with that. That is the only reason I could say others may complain about the service. The sales person was not desperate to sell any product to me, they were pretty blunt with me and what I was looking for--definitely not pushy at all.As for the prices, and the installers. My installers were top notch! Travis and Trevor are the best, they did all 18 rooms and I have yet to find any flaws in their workmanship, on the contrary, the work theyve done is fantastic.I had some special circumstances that made some logistical work challenging, however, my installers were great to work with, professional, and wanted to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the work they completed.I will use these guys again in the future, and have already recommended them to others.I give 5 stars for the value, quality of materials, and quality of workmanship for the carpet installs.

I have used them at two different times in our homes and they do excellent work. I would definitely recommend them. They were thoughtful enough to change my schedule time to later in the afternoon. This made it possible for me to sleep after working a graveyard shift. They have excellent customer service, were organized and came on the day we scheduled to have our carpets done, and the installers were kind and hardworking. Thanks again!! Ive bought carpet twice from garden gate in the last year. Once for selling a home and once for a new home we bought. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The products they offer are good quality and quite competitive. Ive never felt pushed to make any decisions and theyve always had my best interests in mind. Installation has always met or exceeded my expectations. I will continue to come back whenever I need carpet.

We did our carpets here and had an amazing experience. We went back to do a rug and its been one of the worst experiences of our lives.We ordered a 9 x 13 rug and they said it would be finished in two weeks with the cut and bind so we paid for everything and asked if the amount discussed was binding and carpet and they said it would be.After two weeks, we were excited to get a call, but instead of saying it was ready, they said they werent sure of we wanted the rug bound into a rug or just the carpet, we told them we did want it bound like we had originally discussed and he said it would be one more week.A week passed by and they called again to say that they couldnt remember if we wanted the rug bound or not... So we told them we did. Another week went by and it finally was done. We went in but instead of a 9 x 13 rug, it was 12 x 13. They said to fix the problem we would have to pay more and that we still owed $97 for binding, which like was mentioned before, they said was already calculated into the original charge. The manager was unwilling to work out the problem. He did offer to pay for the cutting and new binding at the right dimensions, but he still charged $97 for a binding that we had already been told was paid for.Either the salesman or the company was very deceptive, but sadly the two are one and the same.The carpet is beautiful, but the customer experience is below 1 star.

These Guys are GREAT! Great quality at a great price. We have used them several times. Like most trades, you need to stay on top of things to ensure schedules, etc.

I just had my entire house carpeted by Brad and his installers on 10/25/16. The installation quality is perfect, the carpet quality is excellent. The price was very fair. I even asked Brad to reschedule me to fit my schedule and they got me taken care of. I will definitely go here for any future work and will certainly be giving referrals. I am very happy with how it looks! Thank you.

I have done business with Garden Gate for the last 20 years, and they are always well below cost of everyone else. They have a ton of carpet in stock to choose from, I have also ordered a certain color I wanted. Over the years I have saved thousands. The owner is honest and I always love to support a small family owned business.

Brad and Garden Gate are solid. We have used them numerous times, as has my entire family. Any type of contracting work requires coordination and there are lots of moving parts. Would happily recommend Garden Gate to all

Carpet is good quality at a decent price. But everything else about this place is disappointing.I ordered carpet twice from them and vinyl planks. The carpet installations ok. The first one I was ensured the installers would call and tell when when to expect them. I even called the day of to ask them when they would come, again I was told there installers would call. They never called so I heading into work, then the installers called and said they were at my house.The second carpet install was great. Called the night before and went smooth.The vinyl planks installation never happened!!!! We scheduled 3 weeks in advance! I even called 2 weeks in advance to verify the install of the planks and tell them the square footage (since the refused to have any come measure). They verified the date and have me a new quote. I took out the old flooring, trim, toilet and wet bar a few days before they were scheduled to come out. The day came, they didnt come. I took the day off work so I could be there. I called the office 7-8 times no one answered. I eventually went into work, in the afternoon still no installers. I drove into the office told them I had the flooring installation scheduled and they never showed! They checked on it and apparently it had been cancelled. It appears when I called to verify the install they cancelled my installation. Their solution was to schedule again for another 3 weeks!! I said no way and took my business else where. But the totally screwed us as we now had to live with just the sub floor for a month and it put our remodel back by a month!!I would not recommend this place! Customer service is non existent here. If you have your own installers it might be ok. Otherwise youre taking a gamble that they actually show up to install.

Absolutely FANTASTIC service. There was a mix up in our carpeting order, and they were friendly, and fair in getting it resolved and bending over backwards to help us get the problem fixed so our remodel could continue on schedule. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place with excellent costumer service. I will be using them in the future!

I was appauled by the treatment I received by the salesman here!!!the gal at the desk directed me to the older salesman who was rearranging samples, as soon as I went to shake his hand he interrupted me and answered his phone ..I waited, while the gal that greeted me tried to ease my concern for his rude behavior, but when he got off his phone he turned to help a couple who had just walked in behind me!!! Whaaathewhaaat?!!! I said to him Im leaving because your customer service skills are appauling and ha replied okits unfortunate that a person who is ready to buy carpeting for my entire home is treated so indifferently...needless to say I just went around the block to another competitor

Best carpet supply in town, these guys are Awesome to work with and my customers are always pleased with the carpet we get from Garden Gate! I recommend Garden Gate to anyone.

I shopped around a few places and Garden Gate had the most bang for our buck. Other places were trying to charge us anywhere from $945-$1,600 for 27 square yards for our two rooms downstairs. Gardner Gate only charged us $671.32 for both rooms. We got a dark gray/ blue carpet that looks incredible and feels great when you step on it. there was a mis communication on the charge for taking the carpet out that would of been extra, I spoke with Sid and he said there would be no problem and that they would take care of it. Great carpet for a great price and even better customer service!!! If youre shopping around you definitely need to check them out!!!!

Brad gives better prices but his service is horrible. Dont expect him to call you back even when he promises. This has been the worst experience Ive had buying carpet. Please, please dont buy carpet from Brad unless you want to be very, very disappointed with service. Im now going to have to replace new carpet because the carpet he sold us was unacceptable after his carpet layers installed it. Please, please dont buy carpet from Garden Gate. He should be put out of business because of his poor service! I bought a little extra carpet for my hallway and it took 6 months before Brad finally got the carpet in. He was acting he hoped wasnt going to get me the carpet even after I paid for it! I had to constantly ask him for the carpet month after month. Buyer be very, very beware.

I purchased $1000 worth of carpet, the next day the owner called me and asked when it was being installed because he had another interested customer. I told him not to sell the carpet i had already bought and he did it anyway leaving me with no carpet. Terrible business i would not recommend to anyone. STAY AWAY

Great prices but some of the sales people are not that nice

My business purchases carpet from this company every month or so, as I flip homes in the area. These reviews are interesting to read as a customer who has done business with them for about 8 years now. I felt it was necessary to point some things out in response to some of these reviews.1. The company is not its installers. It’s more convenient to get installation from them (and they subcontract the work out); however, a bad installer does not equal Garden Gate being at fault. If there’s something wrong, the installer should fix it. And the company works to make that happen as well. I personally hire my own installers, but have used theirs a time or two.2. This is not RC Willey. They aren’t going to “wine and dine” you, implicitly beg for your business, or be bummed if you go elsewhere. This is a wholesale business who sells mostly to other businesses. If you have to wait for service or wait for carpet to be ordered because exactly what you wanted wasn’t in stock, it’s your decision to go elsewhere. The sole reason you “WIN” by shopping here is for the competitive prices.3. Would you go to your local hardwood store, purchase thousands of dollars worth of material, and ask to pay them in 60 days? I didn’t think so. Paying for a product and service before the job is complete is a standard business practice.4. Keep in mind that many of these “bad” reviews are from local competitors who make up stories. Garden Gate is a thriving business, due to the honest business model Brad has put into place.5. I challenge you to find one local company who GIVES as much as this company does. Whether there are fundraisers, needy people, or charities, this is one of the most giving, humble gentleman I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.Lastly, I must note that Brad has put a lot of effort into growing this business and maintaining it. Most of the reviews I read either tell me that people aren’t familiar with the carpet business or, they’re competitors who are wallowing in despair over him taking their business. Though Brad doesn’t care about reviews, I do. Because I care about this business. It’s commendable that he remains true to who he is and doesn’t lose sleep over dishonest people. But I did feel the need to add my $0.02, and stand up for a phenomenal, GIVING, business.

Owner requires you to pay upfront with out confirming an installation date. Refuses to return calls and hung up on me while discussing options. Never dealt with a difficult supplier like this in all my years of construction. Dont waste your time.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Brad the owner. I have never experienced such unprofessional and RUDE service from an owner of a business before! The lady at the desk wasnt very friendly either. I wouldnt recommend buying carpet from this place. I ordered carpet a month ago and was told my installation date was the 27th (Thursday). Brad called me the friday before and told me the installer could come Monday morning. When I told him that I wouldnt be home in the morning but could in the afternoon he said that he would check with the installer and call me back if that was going to work for him. I also mentioned that no one had come to measure my rooms yet and was told Brad would get out to my place to measure. I never heard back from him and no one came to measure so I assumed that it wasnt going to work and my carpet was still coming on Thurs. So Monday afternoon the installer called and said he was on his way with the carpet. I told him I wasnt ready for carpet that day because Brad never called me back. The installer was very kind to me and said it was no problem that wed just have to reschedule. So I called twice the next couple days to reschedule and kept getting told Brad would have to call me back. Finally with no luck I finally talked to Brad after calling again and he wouldnt even listen to my side of what happened just kept interrupting me on the phone over and over saying I know what I said on the phone with you and your carpet was supposed to be installed on Monday and you werent ready for it!!! he continually argued with me and all I wanted was for him to say Im sorry for the miscommunication lets get you back on the schedule. He was extremely rude on the phone and I will not recommend anyone buying carpet from him. I will take my business elsewhere!

Bought a house that was newly carpeted and decided to do a small remodel job. Needed to match the same carpet or else recarpet the whole room. Tried everywhere and 5 minutes after walking in the door they found the match. Saved me lots of money and avoided wasting new carpet

On the day of the scheduled install (commercial) his installer couldnt make it. After urging to meet the schedule Brad sent a third rate installer. The installer was horrible. The seams are cut in a broad serpentine fashion. Looks horrible. I called Brad. He came out an measured to replace a section of carpet. I havent heard from him for over two months now. I have been calling and no one answers the phone. UPDATE - Brad said their phone system was having problems during the time I was calling. Brad came out, replaced the portion of the carpet that was installed incorrectly with bad seams. I am happy now. He made is right. I will do business with Brad again. He did follow through and complete the job to my satisfaction!
