I had the best experience at Cal Oaks Vision center . They preformed a bunch of tests on my eyes. . Everyone was so personable and nice. Dr. Tadros was very knowledgeable and has a great personality. I can’t say enough about the stellar care that I received from every member of the care team from Reception staff to Clinical staff to Physician to Optical staff. I felt extremely safe with the processes in place for sanitation protecting both patients and staff. I am impressed with the technological equipment used. Then, the provider himself, Dr Poole is fantastic! He actually took the time with me that I felt was appropriate, he listened intently, was detailed when showing me the test results from the equipment used, and answered all of my questions comprehensively. I am also disabled requiring additional accommodations and I was treated with the utmost care and never felt that I was an imposition. If you’re looking for comprehensive, compassionate care, you’ve found the right provider.

I dont know why people dont go onto other sites that really tell you how bad this place is. ITS BAD! They messed up my eye and wouldnt take responsibility. They need better staff. Optometrists are fine but their staff need more training so that when I tell them I cant see, they dont just send me home telling me I need time to adjust.

All the staff in the office were very helpful. And, they were ready for me right at my appointment time. Dr. Elton was amazing and did a very thorough examination using multiple scans prior to determining my general vision and prescription. You can tell she truly cares about the health of her patients and the early detection of eye disease.When it came time to pick my frames, there were so many quality frames to choose from. Overall, the whole experience was very pleasant and ran like a well oiled machine. I highly recommend this office!

We had a great experience at Cal Oaks Vision Center. My son and I were able to be in the same exam room, and Dr. Poole is so kind and thorough. The optometrist that helped me select my frames went above and beyond to find me just the right pair. She spent quite some time with me until we were both happy.

Im very sorry for posting this so late however, Im leased to say that when I took my daughter here about a year and a half ago she needed new glasses and just by walking inside the place it was superbly fantastic. Ive never seen a glasses store in my life upon first glance. But thats not why Im writing this, what really matters is the customer service that she received there and they treated her like royalty there and on top of that my mom even got a pair of glasses there! Im definitely taking her back to get check ups, new frames, etc, and even for me Ill set up an appointment to get glasses for myself (soon in the future). Great job yall!!!!

Very informative and friendly doctors and staff. By far one of the best appointments I have made. Weird right? Having fun at a doctors appointment? Awesomely educational and warm environment. The people working with me showed me all the crazy graphs and photos of my eyeballs (astounding) and they explained everything to me in terms I could understand. I work with motorcycles so the doc explained to me what I was looking at in mechanical terms. Definitely made my day. It’s a practice like this that makes me want to throw my money at them. From the minute I stepped into California Oaks Vision Center...I felt welcome. The customer service is above reproach. The staff was very helpful and very polite. I was guided every step of my eye exam and was keep very much informed on each eye exam done. Doctor Poole was grate and very professional. Gloria assisted me selecting my new glasses. We had the best experience! We were treated so nicely when we arrived. Our wait time was about ten minutes they were busy but communicated to us about what was going on. The technicians were all so kind and helpful with my 5year old son making sure he felt safe and Unafraid ( it was his first eye exam) the dr was also very nice and quick to finishWe got to choose the frames with ease and were out the door with smiles. We will definitely be back for the rest of our eye exams.

I have been coming here for many years...it doesnt matter which Doctor I see (though Dr. Tadros is my favorite) or which staff member I interact with, they are all consistent and provide great, friendly service!!

The doctors and staff are great. I’ve never had a problem with them and only great service. They are however quite expensive with extra out of pocket costs and this is with insurance. Maybe I have bad insurance but even a cash patient would see $$$$. I cannot afford them any longer.

Totally comfortable experience. From the time I entered until my departure. The place was spotless and social distancing was enacted. Employees at each station were friendly and professional. Dr. Poole took the time to explain my results in layman’s terms. He offered his opinion on what his concerns were after I inquired. When I reached the station where I’d pick frames, I was astonished at the choices. To cap this experience off, softly in the background Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” as well as “Bennie and the Jets” eased any anxiety Needless to say, it was a refreshing afternoon. Kudos!

Everyone was very nice and polite. Now of course it is germ free🙂. For I worked with to day was Sylvia and Harley. I forgot the doctors name but she was very sweet and so was Michelle. They made me feel very comfortable. They explained everything to me and they even let my husband set in they room with me while they put drops into my eyes. I wish them all the best.

Dr. Lewis took the time to teach my teenagers so much about their eyes during this last visit, but Shayna is the reason we have been coming back for the last decade. She is the essence of efficiency and professionalism. I cant imagine how we would have navigated through the years without her. I not only think this place needs a new facility where all tests, equipment, etc. are in one space and not down the hall and in several separate rooms, they need a new computer system. Every time...and I mean every time I deal with this place, I cant seem to get a simple itemized breakdown of tests, costs, etc. and I always get the same answer weve had problems with our computer system or its down right now prints slow. Plus I always have to follow up to inquire about when my new glasses are ready for pickup. Not only that, it seems to take forever to get my new glasses that I paid for weeks ago. It was nearly six weeks this time and I had to follow-up, again. I was told the same answer too that were experiencing problems with our system. No text of my breakdown, no text of order ready...Its time for me to move on to a new optometrist that has good customer service and an organized facility. I have never had to wait six weeks for glasses, let alone never receive an itemized breakdown of my order. It makes a person wonder about the credibility of this place.

Good service and thorough exams. Some of the comments and recommendations during the exam always seem to point towards buying new glasses. The exit from the exam rooms lead right into the eyeglass fitting area...Understand what you really need versus what will be offered to you. Ask questions and be informed. When you do need new glasses, the fitting process and end result is very good. Overall, happy with the service.

Dr. Tadros is very knowledgeable and friendly; he reviewed all aspects of my eye health and made recommendations on diet and exercise and how it has a direct benefit. All of the other staff were great and all of f the tests, retinal scan included, were conducted promptly with results immediately available. Getting the final tally was a bit if a shocker, but Jennifer worked through the pricing and found the best deals possible.I would definitely recommend these folks, but be prepared for a bit of sticker shock - although not too bad, all things considered. For the exemplary service, attention to detail and prompt appointment time, its well worth it.

Everything at this office is high tech and extremely clean. I was able to try on glasses and they even fixed my old ones. I was worried about touching things in the office due to COVID-19 but they wiped everything I touched down many times during my visit. I was even able to wash my hands before my visit. I was impressed with all the staff and Dr. Tadros! They all made sure to ask and answer all of my questions and provided me with discount information when it came time to ordering my glasses.

The staff is so friendly, professional, and caring from those at the front desk to the doctors! In the midst of this COVID crisis, professional precautions were in place but with care and taking care of the entire patient holistically. When they found out I was a veteran, I had 4 staff members in different occasions thank me for my service. First time going to this location since I just moved to Murrieta..I was well please of how I was giving so much knowledge on my eyes . They have a large selection of frames..I didnt get to look at the frames being that I had another appoint but I do plan on going back. The staff was great made me feel welcomed.

I have been going to California Oaks Vision Center for many years and they have always taken very good care of me. Their employees are friendly, professional, patient and know their business. I have some unique eye problems and they have done a very good job of working around them andproviding me with good, helpful glasses.

They have students do the scan and did convey the scan was not covered by insurance. I have a company voucher for safety glasses, they want to charge me extra, even I only choose what is covered in the voucher. This place only wants youre money, bad service. Person who assisted me in choosing glasses in optical department did bad customer service. Tried to charge me $150 right away before I pick my glasses.. I will never go back to this clinic and will not recommend to anybody, they only wants youre money, due to Covid they might be loosing money and want to pass that to their customer. I have a family of 7, I was going to transfer everybody in this clinic but changed mind after this experience.

My family has been a patient of Dr Lewis’ office for years. He’s fantastic as is his staff. However, I am disappointed to find that during COVID and the suggestions to wear a mask, Dr Lewis’ office will not allow anyone in his office without a mask, even if the patient is exempt from the EO signed by Governor Newsom. I am that patient, exempt from wearing a mask. It’s not by choice. We are moving out of state and wanted to have one last follow up visit and to say goodbye. But unfortunately, being discriminated against, that’s not happening and he’s lost 4 patients. Such a shame.

Waited 30 mins before called in was in the office for 1:45 mins . Lots of waiting.

This is the second year in a row that Ive had a negative experience. Last year it was lecturing because I have macular degenerative in my family and they tried pressuring me into buying their very expensive vitamins. Then the doctor as much as told me I was lying when I told him the blue filter coating on my computer glasses was not the real thing on my Costco glasses. Then today they said they would have to go through my medical insurance because I said my eye had been watering and burning. I think its either allergies or I need a new prescription. I told them my eye was good today. Nope, had to go through my medical insurance. Well of course that would have cost more because of a co-pay and a deductible. So I said bye and that it was time for a new eye doctor. What a waste of time. They sure arent the same as they were a few years ago.
