I have had the pleasure of working with Bruno on a few various occasions, most recently on some minor body work and a paint restoration on both my Audi TT and my son’s Nissan Frontier Pro4x. Bruno possesses a pride in his craft and applies an attitude of treating his customers’ cars as if they were his own. I respect his attention to detail and his willingness to go above and beyond in his client services… even if it requires working after hours or working through an injured shoulder. He gone so far as arranging transportation for me when he has been working on my vehicles, dropped cars off to my house, etc. He gives sound advice on what to do and not to do with caring for or upgrading a car’s aesthetics, and I appreciate the time and attention he puts into those who put their trust in him. I would recommend him highly if looking for affordable, quality auto body painting and restoration work done with a thoughtful hands-on business owner.

Bruno took a good finish on a newly acquired 2018 Mercedes E400 convertible and returned it to as-new showroom quality. As received from the seller, there were fine scratches in the finish. Spot touch-up work by the dealership looked OK from a distance, but was noticeably flawed upon close inspection. When Bruno was done, the finish was flawless and beautifully protected with ceramic coating. Hes an artisan.

Worked with Bruno on my 2001 Camaro SS paint restoration and was very happy with not only the quality of his work but also the professional way he conducts his business. The burnt orange color is outstanding.

Modern Rust repaired and repainted a curb rash scuff on our brand new Tesla Model 3. When they were finished, it looked like it never happened! Then we added on 3 year ceramic coating and made her super shiny. Lastly, we had them apply the wing and front spoiler. We couldnt ask for a better company to work with! They stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process and went above and beyond. You will not be disappointed!

I was in an accident and needed repairs done to my vehicle so I found this business online. I had to pay for this out of my pocket so I needed something affordable. Not only were this prices really fair but the work was exceptional. All of the repair prices and times were exactly what I had been promised. We recently bought a 15-year-old car for the sole purpose of towing behind our RV. Actually, WE should have been paid to take this vehicle, it was that bad! It came from up north and had NEVER been washed or maintained! We quickly named it the “Rustmobile,” as it not only had surface rust, but severe structural rust that eaten all the way through the metal. We took the Rustmobile to Modern Rust “just to get an estimate,” because, quite frankly, we didn’t even feel it was worth repairing. However, upon meeting Bruno and discussing the repair and cost, we felt comfortable and assured that he and his staff could put life back into the Rustmobile. When they got the car on the lift, Bruno called us in to look at the brakes. Clearly, not only did we have a rusted car, but also the brakes were shot. (No lemon law in SC, go figure!) But, Bruno assured us that they could take care of that problem, as well. Fast forward…not only do we now have a beautiful, shiny rust-free vehicle, we also have a SAFE car to tow. From the initial estimate to the completion of the repair, Bruno was a delight to work with! We are extremely satisfied, and it was a wonderful experience! Oh yes, the “Rustmobile” is no longer, it has been renamed!

Do not use this business for restoration. Horrible job - paint with chips, etc. interior lining of doors, etc poor, did not do work quoted and instead of 4 months as quoted took 10 months.

They were very helpful in repairing our work truck and would recommend them to anyone.
