Great service and all too timely! We were in Myrtle Beach for a weekend getaway and on a Saturday night discovered a nail in one of our tires. Mavis was open Sunday morning and took care of it right away at a fair price. If it werent for them, wed probably still be stuck in town!

Mavis Tires & Brakes are life savers! We hit debris on our road trip to Myrtle Beach and had some concerns getting back home to Kansas. They checked it out, found the issue, and got us back on the road in no time. They gave peace of mind and let is enjoy the rest of our trip with no worries.

Mavis tires and brakes is the best place in the world to take your car to get tires and oil change and brakes. I needed a new set a tires for my car I needed them right away and I had a budget of $450, they made a deal with me to get four new tires and an oil change with a an alignment. The employees at Mavis tires and brakes were very kind and courteous as well as helpful and understanding.The manager was really cool and I did not have to wait to get my tires changed on my car as soon as I made a deal at the register my car was already on the rack unlike Walmart where you have to wait for two hours. I’m very pleased with how they treated me and I highly recommend Mavis tires and brakes to anyone that needs tires thank you Mavis tires for the awesome job you guys did on my car!

Great experience! Had a flat tire moments before closing time and the staff there was more than happy to help me switch it out to at least get on the spare. The plugged the flat and charged a very affordable rate less than a day later. All the staff members were super pleasant and helpful.

While waiting on your car to be serviced Josh or Steve will check on you or someone else maybe. We ordered 4 new tires and the Mavis truck brought them in early, we got a phone call letting us know that we could come that morning. Mavis helps Myrtle Beach residents just as well as visitors. I came in for a gauge I thought showed low oil. These (very polite, professional and respectful) servicemen showed me it was tire air pressure, rotated, checked brakes, filled air and wiper fluid. (Need wiper blades) they have a loyal customer now.

I had to get a tire replaced unexpectedly so called here and made an appointment. Upon my arrival, David greeted and checked me in and informed me of my wait time. There was another lady at the counter her name is Malaysia and she was assisting another customer. Later on I had the opportunity to chat with her and David (the guy who checked me in) they were both so friendly and professional. Great staff is hard to come by especially now, please thank them again for me and give them both raises!!! My lifesaver!Came here on my vacation, only to have my windows stuck in the down position.I showed up on Sunday and they had me return on Monday so that they could get the parts and the mechanic who does that type of work would be in.I pulled in at 7: 45am and they immediately took my car in and had the parts sitting there waiting for me.Not only do they do tires here but they actually fixed my window motor and door switch for the window.They took my car in right away and within a couple of hours it was done and all is good.I highly recommend them!

Excellent addition to the area. I had nothing but good service from Tire Town and was skeptical when they were acquired by Mavis. I was pleasantly surprised to see that not much as changed. From the online appointment scheduling, to the great attitudes of the folks at the front counter, to the work performed by the folks in the garage it was a great experience.

I was on vacation with just my girls and came out to a flat tire in the parking lot of the condo. After calling a tow company to come help me get the tire off ( just FYI 2021 vehicles no longer have a spare tire on them) I took it to Mavis 30 mins before they were closing. The assistant manger (sorry I didnt get his name) went over and beyond helping me get a new tire. Not only did he help me get a new tire but he heard me on the phone with my husband upset because I didnt know how I was going to get it back on my car. He drove over to the condo after he got off work and put my tired back on my car. I cannot thank him enough for all he did.

These folks were great communicated well and did good work Josh, the manager, offered me a couple services I didnt go in there for, one I said yes to the others I didnt but they were not pushy about it. I would definitely go back to this location.

I had my car serviced yesterday at this location and I had a good amount work done on my Ford Escape. Unfortunately 15 minutes into my ride home I realized that something was wrong with it and I wasnt able to go back to Mavis. Took the car back this morning and I was assisted by Steve and explained to him what was going on and he took my car in right away. I got a call soon after and he let me know what had happened and that they were taking care of it. I went to pick up my car this afternoon and drove it around for 20 minutes when once again I noticed something wrong with the front part of the car. I called Mavis and spoke to Steve and let him know what was going on and he told me to bring it back and he would test drive it. As soon as I got there, we hopped in the car and he realized exactly what was wrong with it and stated that he would take care of it. Waited an additional 25 minutes when finally Steve came back out and assured that all was good with my car. I could have easily given a poor review because of all the issues experienced but due to Steve going above and beyond for this customer, I can give a decent review! I have been a Mavis customer since 2006 starting from back in NY and I would still use them here in SC. A true example of what Customer Service should be!

Ive been to this shop on two different occasions and both times the service was fantastic. They are straight up and dont pile on extra unnecessary services like some other places.Josh was very helpful on my most recent visit when he checked out a possible brake problem and was able to find a solution quickly. This place is great!

Brought my tire here after having a flat, I had a inclination that someone had let the air out of it.. we were able to leave the tire there while we finished up packing our hotel room. They looked the tire over and checked for leaks and let me know what they thought, they put the tire back on for free and I was on my way! Good guys, great tire shop!!!

I am giving an honest opinion from someone that has been a store manager in the business for 20 plus years.  When I called and priced tires the person I spoke with was very helpful and found me what I was looking for.  I made an appointment for 3:00 to get them mounted and balanced.  My truck was not pulled into the shop until after 4:00.   Being in the business I understand that appointments do not always go as scheduled however my truck was not even finished until 5:20! The guy that worked on my truck was getting pulled off my job constantly and worked very hard.  I tipped him for his hard work and left.  Once I returned home I realized that they could not even wash the blue coloring off of my whie letters!!!??? For 20 years I made sure that was done to make the customers vehicle look better than it looked when it came in.  Its really a shame how things have changed.  No regard for customer service at all between the 2 1/2 hour wait with an appointment and the zero attention to detail!

Excellent work and and excellent costumer service from Josh and his team. Along with honesty, integrity and excellence in communication. I use this shop many time and alway leave happy with the service especially on the price. I fully recommend Mavis for service.

Had a flat tire. Drove on my spare to get to Myrtle Beach. These guys treated us great. They replaced my tire, took the spare off and put everything away in my trunk. They did an awesome job, so now we can enjoy our vacation!

Josh gave me a great deal on a tire rotation, wheel balance, and an oil change. I originally had an appointment for just an oil change, however he noticed my tires were worn to the point where I didn’t have much time left on them, and they were unbalanced. I’m glad he caught it before I broke down! On top of that he had me in and out super quick! I’m really glad this location helped me out, and to top it off it was clean and sanitized as well! They for sure have the best service i’ve had in a while. I will be using this location from now on :)

I have been coming to this shop for a few years and they have always done me good. Recently they helped me fix a very annoying alignment issue which ended up being a tire issue! I appreciate their knowledge and know-how and the customer service has always been good.

I went there for there high rating 4.6 stars. But I am only giving then a 1 star rating because they tried to replace everything on my car when there was nothing wrong with it and for 2 they replaced my cv axle assembly. While doing that they broke my sensor never offered to fix there mess up. So after paying alot of money for there services now I have to have my car fixed in my hometown. Because my car dash is lite up like a Christmas tree abs light engine light I still dont know how they managed to mess up my car so bad but they did .I only went here because I was on vacation with my family and Im still waiting on corporate headquarters to return my call what a joke on service I SD I dont understand how this facility is still open but I highly recommend to go somewhere else

I cant say enough nice things about the staff. I was on vacation from Ohio. Had a brake issue on my truck just before heading home. Called a couple other shops before settling on Mavis mostly based on other reviews and the feeling I got from the other folks on the phone. Came in when they opened. Friendly greeting and very helpful at front desk. Promised to get it in in a half hour even though I didnt have an appointment. They actually beat that time. Put it up on the rack and did a full break inspection and found no issues. The tech asked me to take a look and we further checked and diagnosed together. No mechanical issues were found. They offered a free rotation since the tires were off. Declined as I had just done that before the trip down. Also offered to do a rear break pad replacement (pads are getting thin) at a very reasonable price. I decline as we were on a bit of a deadline but probably should have taken them up on the offer.When they remounted the tires and backed it out, they refused to charge me for the time they spent. Other shops had a basic fee just to look at it and I expected this here as well. I apologize for not catching thier names but the service manager and technician were both awesome. Many shops would have taken advantage of my predicament but these folks didnt. Highly recommend the folks at the Myrtle Beach location at 306 N Kings Hwy. Thanks for the peace of mind for my trip home!

Honestly they seemed like a good place but they aren’t. The management is horrible they just put faces on for the customers. The workers don’t get breaks, and people are doing stuff that isn’t even their job. Which is awful they should be getting paid the correct amount if they are doing a job that they aren’t suppose to be doing. I don’t know but I think it’s just wrong and I won’t be going there. They should really start focusing and taking care of their employees that work on cars all day long especially without breaks! it really does confuse me on why do do all this.

I would high recommend mavis tires. I had a issue yesterday and Karen and Josh really helped me out a lot. You can apply for a credit line if you don’t have cash. I had a emergency and didn’t have money for all 4 tires like I wanted yesterday. If I can remember correctly there’s two different things you can apply for even if you have bad credit as long as you have a bank account and income. I didn’t get enough credit for the tires I wanted so they worked it out to where I only had a small amount out of pocket. There was no wait they got my car in very fast. The price of the tires weren’t bad either even before they worked with me. I have never been to a tire shop that has treated me like that . The waiting room is clean. If I could give 10 stars I would . Thank you

While traveling to new home sites, out of town, we ended up with a flat tire. Three different gas station air pumps werent working, and fortunately we were referred to Mavis Tires who have a free air pump that we could use after hours. The next morning we went there to assess the situation and they could not have been any kinder and more helpful. The tire was repairable and the cost was appropriate. Bill and Karen were both very knowledgeable and professional. We felt safe traveling back home the next day.

I love this location. I stopped going anywhere else after my first visit because the staff here has always been friendly, and the prices are very fair. Even when I’ve come in and been in a bad mood because I’m stressed about my car, they’ve always been super polite and empathetic. I even waited to come to this location until I visited family because I live in Chicago now, but I really like Mavis in Myrtle Beach!

Manager Josh helped me get in and out in under 15 minutes with a thumb sized screw through my tire. Very professional and friendly. Also with the Mavis tire warranty I didn’t have to pay a thing! These people aren’t playing around. I highly recommend!

Came in thinking I might need a new ball joint or tie rod - turned out to be nothing but some torn bumper plastic - these folks took care of it on the spot in a couple minutes and sent me on my way without a bill. Honest, generous, and friendly.

My wife went to one Mavis location and asked for 2 tires to be checked. They only checked one. 2nd tire didnt get fixed. So I went back to that location and the gentlemen was terrible . Said he wont guarantee flat repairs so I needed to buy a new tire . I called this Mavis location on Kings rd. Lady was super helpful and nice. They checked tire and fixed for free. Thank you
