I had to return some bedding tonight, when I walked in no one said hello and I had to wait for help. An older lady named Rita walked up and I said hello how are you, she said absolutely nothing back and didn’t the entire time until she got smart with me and asked anything wrong with the items. I told her you see it’s unopened nothings wrong I just no longer need the bedding because that room will now be my office. She acted annoyed and had the nerve to put not satisfied with the items on my return receipt even after hearing me and a guy who worked there talking about how beautiful the bedding was. So how her hearing me say how beautiful the items were equated to NOT SATISFIED is funny.Really all I could do was laugh at her nasty behavior and texted my husband a picture of her because she was completely unbelievable. The bedding I bought was $400 and to spend so much at a company who’s products I like the service was terrible. She forgets that people spending lots of money at pottery barn means she has a job and paycheck. Hire someone more friendly and grateful for have a job because this woman has zero manners. It’s a shame I’m 33 years old and have more manners than she’s probably ever had her entire life. I’ll continue buying online and never step foot in there again. The nice guy who walked me out said they hear that a lot about her attitude.

My wife and I came here while on vacation from St. Louis and compared to our Pottery Barn, this place is a dream! The staff was OVERLY friendly. We were helped by Katie at first and then later by the store manager Meryl who went out of her way to give my wife and I a decent discount on our purchase. Also, the store is stunning. They have floor to celling windows that let in tons of natural light!

After making. Special trip up here to buy a bedding set, coverlet, blanket, sheets, pillows, decided to just leave. No one acknowledged me in the half our I was there, and one staff member flew by cutting off my path and didn’t even say “ excuse me” $600 lost. May decide to get it on line or shop another place all together. I hate to be bombarded by sales staff, but a little nod and hello could have been enough for me to stay there.

My daughter would not enter this store with me, due to her own experience. Her words to me, as I entered, were prepare to be treated like garbage!And, she couldnt have been more right. From the moment I entered, the man working there was as rude as he could be. The whole experience was horrible. I decided to buy my item else where. I will never shop there again. I have to wait for snail mail, to send me credit for my return, as well. A ridiculous policy, in this day in age. This isnt his fault, but his snide manner when he informed me was. My advice...give your business to some one who deserves it. This experience was a bad as I have had in a store, in a long time.The woman that works at this store, was equally as rude to my daughter.

Hours are incorrect in website ! Website and google states they open at 11 am in Sunday’s but they don’t open until NOON! You should fix your hours to reflect the correct opening .

I have been into this store multiple times while pregnant looking for items for our new home and nursery. I’m a 30 year old professional nurse practitioner with money to spend but I am never acknowledged when I walk in the door. Any time there is more than one customer checking out at once the staff appears extremely overwhelmed and rude. It took three employees to order the rocker I wanted.I came in today to buy bedding for our master bedroom and had the same experience. The one woman checking one customer out in the bedding aisle never looked at me or acknowledged my presence. A male employee noticed a line forming and came over to check me out. He was rude from the moment he walked up to me and treated me so disrespectfully. Then he got really mad when I gently pointed out he’d rung up the wrong sale price. I will not return to this store again. This is the worst customer service I’ve dealt with anywhere. Save your time and go to the Cool Springs store.

No one speaks to you or wants to help you. Was looking for a baby changing table/dresser, for PB prices you could go to Restoration Hardware or even Rooms To Go for better service and about the same money. If I ever need anything from PB, I will order online.

Where is the customer service??? Walked in and toured the store twice with no hello, nor nod of acknowledgement from the cashier or person getting something from the back. In the kids area there were 3 people helping 1 customer (including the guy from the back). He told one of the girls to help me. The main item I want is not in the store. No free shipping if you pick up at the store. No we can let you know when it is in. I could have purchased a lot today but why. I am used to excellent customer service in Dallas and Plano, TX. Why shouldnt I expect the same in Green Hills/Nashville.?

I’ve recently ordered a lot of furniture from Pottery Barn at the Cool Springs location, where I had a bad experience. I began working multiple issues trough this location and have had a great experience. Meryl has been resolving my most recent issue, a furniture warranty claim and has kept me informed.While I agree Pottery Barn has a lot issues, I believe most are due to corporate.

One star is an overstatement!!!The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The sales associate was beyond rude and disrespectful from the beginning. Snipped at us and walked away several times in the transaction with no reason offered. She actually rung up another customer in the middle of our transaction( note sure why!?!?!).When it came time for us to scan our gift card she actually threw the reader in a aggressive manner. All the time we barely uttered anything to her.(don’t want you to think this was some type of back and forth, it wasn’t. Just rude behavior)I rarely write bad reviews because I know retail is a hard job. I never call our people by name for the same reason. But MELODY was the worst. You shouldn’t be in retail with those skills. The store wasn’t that busy and you clearly are better suited for the DMV.Very disappointed... BTW left the store with a pending sales credit because they couldn’t figure it out. So the joyous experience isn’t really over yet.

As others have said, the customer service here is horrible. We have been in this store at least 4 times and have never once been asked if we needed help. We were here tonight with 30 minutes until closing wanting to buy a $4K sectional and no one would help us. One employee loudly told the other he was trying to get out of here and was locking one of the doors before closing time. The employees always act like the customers dont belong in the store. Its a very strange vibe for such a nice store where customer service should be top notch.

As others have mentioned, the customer service at this store is horrendous. I called in with a quick stock question just to be treated like an inconvenience. The sales associate said, Id have to check.... in such a way that it made it quite clear she had no interest in checking their stock. I asked her to check and she told me to just shop online. Really?

This Pottery Barn is just like several other locations. The staff are snobby and rude! They hate to have to answer any questions and when they do it’s a short answer. I would of spent a lot more money yesterday but I couldn’t give them business because they don’t deserve it!

If negative stars were an option this store is so deserving. This Is perhaps the most unfriendly store in all of the PB chain. Personal dealings with a manager (Sarah) and her staff in the bedding department were beyond rude and unsatisfactory I would discourage new wedding registries to not waste their time.After looking at reviews it appears that others share in my dissatisfaction. Hopefully regional managers see these reviews and make the necessary changes to allow customers the shopping experience they hoped for upon entering their store.

I went into pottery barn to shop for some decor for my bedroom. I am 22 years old and beautifully Black. I had on a polo, pearls, jeans, Sherry’s and a tiny Tory Burch purse. I was being helped by this older woman. She was kind of friendly at first. I decided to FaceTime my mother to consult her on my purchases when she tells me she was buying me something for my room for Christmas. I then get excited set the items I had picked up down and begin to slowly walk out of the store when the employee chases me out of the store. She accused me of stealing! She demanded I came back inside the store and tell her where I put the items. I’ve never experienced treatment like this at any store ever in my life. I have worked in retail and when customers set things down in random places it’s my job to find it. It’s simple. The worker here was disgustingly rude and needs to be fired. She is giving pottery barn a terrible name.

Ordered a rocking chair for our future nursery AFTER already ordering a sectional couch and a coffee table and two other chairs. The chair just showed up today after 8 weeks of waiting and its wrong... They said its going to be the middle of May before the new one is complete. So now we are supposed to wait another two months because they messed up our order..... Think long and hard before you order anything from them. I would suggest going elsewhere if you need your furniture within the year and you want to be treated with any resemblance of customer service

Just left Pottery Barn in Green Hills. While the Kids store next door showed great customer service, the regular Pottery Barn was atrocious. Unwelcoming. After 20 minutes of wandering around the store wanting to purchase at least 7 large area rugs and potentially 2 living room chairs, I had to run someone down to ask a question. After they disappeared, I asked another sales associate who appeared to be folding napkins if I could ask her a question and was she busy? She replied she was too busy helping another customer and promptly fled. This is the fourth time I’ve visited this location over the last couple of years and have never once had anyone ask if they could help. Avoid this store at all costs. Too many other stores sell similar items and actually want to help.

Today I visited Pottery Barn at the Green Hills location. I was very frustrated and the unknowledgable sales associate did not give adequate customer service. After leaving store, sales associate chased after me asking me to help her find all items I was initally looking at to purchase. I explained to sales associate that all items were sitting in a stack on the bed near enterance of store. A few words were said back and forth and I left parking lot. I personally work in customer service and I have never asked a customer to return to the store to find the items they did not want. I felt attacked and I will not tolerate this type of accuastions and will be reporting store to corporate. Will never shop at this location again.
