The best advice I can share with anybody about Blues Vintage Guitars is prepare to be amazed at what is inside this store! Gabe has curated a massive collection of the highest possible quality instruments with some of the finest examples available for sale anywhere. Every time I have stepped into his store I am welcomed like family and encouraged to play anything hanging on the walls. It doesnt matter what you may have walked in there looking for, youll walk out of Blues with a wish list longer than your arm!I have spent the last 35 years searching all over the country for my holy grail Les Paul stopping in at every music store on my travels and playing hundreds of guitars along the way. My epic search finally ended at Blues Vintage about a year ago when Gabe handed me The One. A one off, 2001 Kerry Green Les Paul Standard. WOW! Perfect in every possible way. After a few minutes of negotiation over the value of my trade in, a fair deal was agreed and I walked out with my dream guitar smiling like a Cheshire Cat.Thank you Gabe! Sincerely, THANK YOU! This is the most beautiful and amazing sounding Les Paul I have ever played and I have never been more pleased or more inspired by an instrument!

Rude staff and felt very unwelcome

Great experience shopping at Blues Vintage Guitars. Tom was super helpful and encouraged me to try out a number of guitars and amps as well as helped me find a delay pedal. He showed me 4 different delay pedals until I found one that suited me. The collection of guitars here is just incredible. The store is a little off the beaten path but well worth a visit if you are town. Highly recommend and I will be back as well next time Im in Nashville.

If you judge this place from its exterior, you will be shocked and surprised the first time you walk into it. It looks like a small house that you could easily drive by and never even notice, maybe a place that sells a handful of guitars and some accessories. Um, no. This store is much bigger than it appears, and has two floors completely filled with outstanding, high-end guitars, including a beautiful collection of vintage instruments and amps. This is truly a Nashville guitar shop. However, its not just a bunch of Telecasters and Fender Twins - yes, they have plenty of those beauties, too - but its also the place to go if youre looking for a Les Paul or a nice acoustic guitar. If youre a serious guitar player, you will be missing out if you dont check out this shop.

I took my in to have some general maintenance done. I was very pleased with the work Gabs and Tom did. Super knowledgeable and friendly. My guitar sounds better than has since I got it. I will definitely be back to see them!

Im a tourist and hit a bunch of guitar stores on my visit to Nashville. Carters and Gruhns are awesome and must be seen; but Blues was just as good! Tonnes of interesting inventory and good prices in a unique little store. The owner introduced himself and was super friendly, thank you for telling us about the Jack Pearson show that night, it was awesome. Next time Im in Nashville this store will be at the top of the list of places to visit.

I emailed them and many others for a guitar that I was looking for and Gabe emailed me back and had it. Long story short, I have it. This is the first time I have purchased a guitar this way AND had a guitar delivered by FED-EX. I was very concerned but he had what I was looking for. He is one person that really cares about taking the time to make your buying experience nothing short of perfect! His attention to detail from sending photos, of the guitar, to packing it and shipping out are truly his expertise. He emails, txts, and calls multiple times to check on you and educate you on the shipping process. He even checks the weather and wont ship it out if it looks like it might sit for a day somewhere. He cares for the guitars like they are his kids! The guitar came on time and the description of the condition of the guitar is exactly like he told me before I purchased it. Now that its here he still calls to see how I like it. Its not all about a sale for him! He wants to know the guitar is in a good place for it and you. You should never have a worry buying from him. So if you want a guitar that you cant see in person and he has it and you like what he says about it, TRUST GABE! You wont be disappointed.He is right... life is too short to play a lousy guitar.Aber

Great little boutique used guitar store. They have some really vintage guitars that are quite pricey and then other options that arent so pricey. They have your strings and slides and miscellaneous gear. Quite a few used amd vintage valve amps to choose from as welll. The employee/s, I only ever see the same one, are knowledgeable and specialized in guitar set up. The owner is often there too. I like to support local businesss and this one is within walking distance of my house.

This is by far the best guitar shop in Nashville, Gabe is a great guy and has always treated me with respect and honesty. If you are looking for great inventory, honesty, and the feel of a small town guitar shop in the big city then look no further.

Have an awesome selection of Strats, Les Pauls, acoustics and unique one of a kind guitars. Vintage amps, cabs and effects. Beat of all is their setups. Ive brought five guitars in so far and left with five new guitars that played beautifully and the cost, which was some of the best investments Ive made recently. I highly, highly recommend you visit them.

I dont do to many reviews..But I took my Tom Anderson in for intonation. (Buzz Feiten system) not a standard set up, Tom there tech did such an excellent job while I waited..hows that ! Guitar has never played more in tune all over the neck!! Highly recommend Gabe and his team!! Will be taking all of my guitars to them in the future!!
