This place is amazing, I pulled up for a tire patch for my left front tire and they took care of it all in under 30 mins. They don’t charge for a tire patch but only if your tire is in good condition. Definitely would recommend for any tire related issues. Friendly staff as well which is always great. Thanks Jose. 😎🤙🏽

The Store Manager Joe and his staff provided excellent customer service and competitive prices when purchasing specialized tires for my BMW 750 LI. I’ve been a customer of Discount Tire for years. I’m doing a nationwide road trip and decided to stop here because I’m familiar with the brand and their services. Not only did they give me the best price for the tires I really wanted but they offer the best customer service. Seriously, I was treated with the same 5 star respect I was treated with on the other side of the country. That tells me that Discount Tires KNOWS how to roll out training and plans to keep their service consistent. Even if my tires were more money, I’d pay that knowing that my dollar is going into the hands of people that CARE how they treat people (and not just their paying customers). The locations are always clean and the young people working at these establishments are the best. Even during this pandemic, they have carefully spaced out seating for people to feel comfortable in or outside. Kudos to you and your teams nationwide. And even bigger high five to the team at this San Diego location. Y’all get my vote!

It was so quick and easy. The crew was so helpful and kind. They just take care of you and from what I saw they were doing everything right. Said it would be about 45-60 minutes for my 4 tires to be changed. They were done in 25 minutes.

Buying tires or anything for that matter, that has to do with my car, is always stressful. I really depend on my car, like most people that drive one do. My tire being flat at this time was very stressful, as my partner was in the hospital, in critical condition. I went to Discount Tire because my Son referred them. They turned out to be awesome. The salesman, Jesus, listened to my predicament, and took the best care of me, totally relieving me of my unnecessary stress. He really set me up nicely. The service was fast, fair and honest. Just what I like! I will give this Discount Tire five+ stars and a positive referral to anyone who needs tire service!

Helped me replace a tire that had a nail in it. Good service decent value. They broke my Center console cup holder. Must have leaned onto the water bottle I had there and pushed it straight down. They didn’t say anything about it but it’s obvious. I was able to take it out but now I am left without a cup holder and need to fix this. I came for a fix and ended up with another problem.

Not good.. one store said my insurance covered all costs but didnt have my tire size and sent me to another one up the street..Of course they had the tire but at an added cost..When I explained the other store said it was covered they lied and said it wasnt.. Im getting used tires next time... I spent way too much money for the same services

Wasnt expecting much really, made an appointment online to replace my rear tires. But man where these guys fast and professional. Had my appointment for 830, showed up they got my car and before I could start getting lost on YouTube. I was astonished that my car was ready a lil bit of 20 minutes later. Make them appointments online people.

Went in there for a tire rotation. Fast and efficient. In and out under 15 minutes.

This review is mostly based on the customer service I received from Joe. Called him before taking the car in to see if they had some tires in stock. They didnt but he said would have them brought over from a different location if I would get the job done the same day. It was an emergency replacement but I decided just to replace all four tires. Upon arrival, Joe came out to meet me, walked me right up to the front counter, gathered all my information, answered a few questions and cashed me out all in less than 10 minutes. He did his job very efficiently and made it super easy for me. He gave me an estimated time frame for when the car would be ready and said he would call when finished. Dropped the car off at 1 and picked up at 4:30. Keeping in mind that the tires had to come from a different location and the fact that they were completely slammed. I think it was a reasonable amount of time. For pickup, I walked in, talked to Joe briefly, he returned my keys and I was on my way. Tires are solid Michelin tires so nothing to complain about there. Joe will be the reason I recommend this location to everyone I know in need of tires! Will definitely be back. Thanks Joe!

Alika was my first point of contact and he was great to speak with! He explained the COVID -19, complimentary air check and appointment protocols. I believe he may have had a smile while speaking with me--in short, he sounded happy to be there and did not mind answering my questions. Great first impression!My appointment was scheduled for the next day at 11:30 A.M. (super bonus as I was expecting to hear they would not be available for a week). My technician, Jesus, was very friendly and knowledgeable; he inspected my vehicle, explained the process and gave me a customer information session with respect to tire tread life. My problem was very small, the service was quick and efficient, and I was on my way by 12:05 P.M.HONESTLY, this was a GREAT experience for me and I look forward to going back for all of my vehicles future tire related services. I also discovered they can obtain rims from any manufacturer (yes, yet another bonus for a client like me--a one stop shop with great customer service is efficient for my schedule).Insider note: You will get an appointment at this location far quicker than other locations. I highly recommend paying them a visit.

I felt very comfortable at Discount Tire today. The lines were neatly divided with great signage on distancing. Everyone had mask & respected space. Thank You! Took my truck here 2 years ago for tire change. 2 yrs later I had a screw on one of the tires. Staff were very friendly and they took the time to know you and made sure that you are taken care of. There were plenty of customers but I was out in 30 mins which is impressive given how busy they were. Great job DT! I highly recommend this place.

One of the best Discount Locations Iv been to. Super quick! Less than 45min for 2 tires(with an appointment and paid online), went back for the other 2 a week later and same experience.

Great service! I never go anywhere else. The Manager got me signed at the door 5 minutes later i received a text it was my turn to be helped. My flat was fixed and was waiting for me when i got off work. Best thing the flat was fixed for free.

If i could go lower i would, after a short discussion, I quickly realized how non proffessional this place was . I came in for a flat repair in march apparently, they are not responsible for not following the best practices. If the tech wouldve just followed the rules and dunked the tire he wouldve seen that he overdrilled the tire but noo its not their fault(leaky patch) .Clearly management had a short temper so i decided not to even deal with it . goodjob aaron for taking responsability.

I was traveling threw Sandeigo when I picked up some road dedris. The tire was destroyed and stuck with putting my space saver on my truck. Had four new tires installed today at the National City Discount Tire store on Plaza Blvd. The staff was exceptionally helpful, professional and courteous.I had an appointment, and they greeted me by name before I got to the garage bays. They didnt know me, but knew what time my appointment was and what kind of car I was driving. I was in and out of there in under 45 minutes. Plus, they beat Costcos prices and were much faster and more convenient. I was more than satisfied-- I was very, very happy with my experience there.

I made an appointment to get my tires rotated. They were super fast. Had me out of there in under 15 minutes. As always they were super friendly and professional. Discount/American tires has been and always will be my tire company for life.

When I called them the gave me appointment the next day! Also, AARON was very helpful he did the best,he didn’t give up until find the best solution! Before I call them I called the one on Med way I requested an appointment with the manager! They took my name and my phone they said we will call you tomorrow! But they don’t call till today It has been more than 10 days!

Great customer service! I came in because I had taken it to a small tire shop to get one of my tires fixed and they ended up messing it up. Alika helped me out here at Discount tire. He was very understanding of the situation. He was able to switch out the tire for me. He made it easy and fast. I would highly recommend coming to this spot.

Worst service Ive ever had!! They told me my one tire that I blew out would be ready in two hours and I was fine with that because I was a walk in. So they gave me the option to leave or stay in my car seeing that it was 104° F I decided to go home I came back about 2 hrs and 15 mins later and when I pulled up I asked if it was ready still no big deal just wanted to know how much longer. The people told me 10 mins so I said okay Ill wait. I waited another 55 mins I went down and they said they would check on it it so I went back to my car and they said I needed to finish payment. So I did and instead if installing the new tire they put it next to my car and said have a good day and asked if I wanted it in a bag.

I am so impressed by their customer service. I came here to get new tires about a month ago and unfortunately I got a nail in my tire yesterday. I called in this morning and they were so helpful. Their appointments were booked for the evening but they take walk-ins so I went in around 5:30pm. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by Antonio who actually remembered me from the last time I was there. The nail was in the sidewall so they had to replace it. Luckily I had the road hazard and it covered the replacement. I highly recommend getting the road hazard. Its worth it because you just dont know when youre going to get a flat. FYI, their prices are the best. Ive compared even with Costco. I also must note that they were very friendly and patient with my 1 year old

I went to the Chevy dealership for maintenance and they said that I had a screw in my tire on the side so by law it couldn’t be patched, then proceeded to say because I have AWD, I have to replace ALL of my tires, “if you only change one tire, it messes up your alignment”.. they also said that my tires were due to be changed because of the wear on it. 4 new tires there is $800 plus tax. So I googled tire shops and found this place. I spoke to Ryan (if I remember his name correctly) and told him everything, he took the time to show me the amount of life left on my tires and where the screw would have to be in order to be in the non repair zone. Then they took my car and by the time I walked to CVS and back, they were done. They patched my tire, rotated them for free, and even shined them. Loved my experience here!

He also advices me that I would be needing new tires soon. I asked for a quote and he was not pushy at all. Super friendly. I was in and out in no time! I had a flat, unrepairable tire from the 15 south. There was a blade that made the hole too wide to repair. I bought 4 brand new tires cuz my truck is AWD and soon realized i was tight on money. I unfortunately had to return the tires and was so lucky that they had a used tire with the same tread depth as my 3 other original tires. I made a total of 3 visits in 3 days cuz I couldnt make up my mind but they helped me out so much and was completely understanding. The 3 awesome people who helped me out were Jesus [Jessie] (ESPECIALLY Jesus), Alika, and Jon. Highly recommend this place cuz they will work with you.

Wow, this place is awesome!!! Joe and his team took really good care of me. I went in with the intention of buying a new tire because another shop had told me that run flat tires couldnt be fix and no shop would attempt to fix them. When I got there, Joe took a look at my tire and said he might be able to fix it. About a half hour later it was fixed and I was on my way. The most amazing part is that they did it all for FREE! I will definitely bring my car back the next time I need tires!

I have been to two Discount Tires today with a 2 to 5 hour wait and call make an appointment at the one thats closest to my home and they said it would be four days before I could come in. All I need is a patch my tire and I was referred to you because youre supposed to be quick and dont charge. I will never buy tires from you guys. Time is the only thing we have for real and my time trying to work with your company was a waste of my life.

Great place. Took care of things properly. Took twice as long as promised and I was looked at crazy when I asked about it so watch out for the over-promising sales vs. the young crew doing the work. But thats normal.

Waited three hours for a simple service. While people with no appointment (just like me) were just getting immediate service. Then when they gave me my car they were rude. Terrible store don’t come here. Go to another discount tire.

In and out in 30 minutes for rotate and balance. Cant complain about that. On this visit i also learned that they replace tire pressure sensors. I paid 70 bucks for the tp sensor compared to $140 that the dealership quoted. They also guaranteed the part for 6 years.
