Worst experience I have had with a dealership. Not willing to work with the customer. I called multiple times to speak with a manager about my paperwork and they never called back until the 4th time I called. Then a month after I bought my vehicle they still did not pay off my trade in for my previous loan and I had to pay my old car loan in the same week as my new car loan. I have called to speak to a manager twice about the same issue and no one will call me back. Very frustrating to have to be stressed over a mistake that the dealership has made and then they won’t communicate back. Terrible customer service and not worth the headache I would drive up to an hour away to not have to deal with this dealership again.
Super friendly and helpful They help find some paperwork And were very nice. Would recommend this Mazda dealer to anyone.
I was going to John Hine Mazda........but they recently closed..........it took a few minutes to get helped.........but the people here are nice.........i bought oil change supplies today........around 5 bucks cheaper than John Hine charged.........closer to my house too.........i will come back when my Mazda needs something else..........
#Mazda #SoulRed is the best red on the road. And its a zippy crossover vehicle. The 2020 #CX9 captains chair in the back are great. I really like my #SOULREDCX9 and its fun to drive. Syncing my devices are super simple.. My sound system is insane! Most vehicles cant touch the quality of sound coming from my #BOSE system. #WESTCOTTMAZDA was easy buying experience.
I have to give a huge thank you to Gilbert and PJ over at westcott Mazda for helping get me into my new CX-5 manual. Both Gilbert and PJ are very polite and professional employees, not like everyone car salesman they respect you and don’t push you around. I highly recommend stopping and talking to Gilbert if your in the market for a vehicle. They worked magic for me and I still got a full warranty 🤙🚗 truly thankful for westcott Mazda and their amazing employees. Thank you from the vikara/Giles family
Friendly staff and very willing to work with me as well as explain what was happening and walk me through the paper work.
AMAZING! Excellent service and customer care. Highly recommend!
Terrible dealership... Selling people vehicles and wont honor their warranty. They sold me a 2016 mazda 3 on coilovers unaware at the time and the suspension went out. Made an appointment to have it fixed and they said since it was aftermarket they wouldnt cover it, but thats how I bought it from them. They should have explained that and told me about the suspension in the beginning, but never did... why sell a 2k warranty but not honor it?? Very disappointing... also when I asked about the warranty they said I never had one haha, I pulled out my paper work and it showed I had purchased the comprehensive coverage, which covers the suspension. Corporate will be called as well as First Extended...
We bought a Mazda 3 last Sunday. I have to say, they they did a great job working with us to get the deal done. Kudos especially to Alex, the Marketing Director who went out of his way to help. He was gracious and genteel. You dont see that very often in a car dealership! I live in Vegas, but will by my next Mazda in 2 years at Westcott! Thanks,Don
Salesmen are not knowledgeable in the product they sell. Couldnt even fix a radio. Hines could in less than 3 minutes.
Absolutely amazing experience...they had us in and and out within an hour. I had my 2 young children and they were incredibly kind, professional and skilled. So glad to have found such a wonderful service department
Terrible customer service, I ordered a sunshade and by the time they told me that they already had it, I took a look around and it wasnt there, they made me go for nothing; Another thing is that a month after I had bought a car the garnish door on the right side had scratches but not caused if not rather as if it had leaked that it was all smooth and they did not want to cover it with the insurance. Second way that I go and second way that they left me bad
Great customer service marco was the best salesman. Thanks to Westcott mazda will come back in the future.
Got every thing I ordered in a timely matter. Great job.
Im very disappointed with the service I received here. Very rarely I write bad reviews, but I have to do it right now because I was basely cheated. In the time of pandemic Mazda company offered a free service of oil change and car cleaning for health care workers. It was a great news for me, because I am a Registered Nurse working full-time in my ninth month of pregnancy fighting for the well being of others. I called the dealership and brought my car for service with my own brand new filter. When I came back to pick up my car, I realized NOTHING was done. They just rinsed the outside of my car under water, interior was not touched, my husband checked the oil and it was dark brown. I spoke to the manager, but he said they did the service that was supposed to be done. I was so upset and frustrated I didnt want to continue the conversation. I just have one simple question to these people - When you bring your loved one to the hospital, is this the service you want for them or you expect honesty and care?I understand, I cannot complain too much for the free service. However, if you promise to provide a service, please do it and dont waste the time and trust of others. Another thing I wonder about is how many Frontline workers drive their vehicles with bad, dirty oil thinking its good for another 3000-5000 miles?
Awesome service! Awesome car! Just got my first actual car and its amazing! Props to the whole team of westcott mazda.
Where to begin? I wont even discuss our buying experience - it should have been a red flag but we found a great car at a great price so we chalked it up to COVID and some miscommunication. At the time of purchase (June2020) we paid the dealership to handle our registration... because who wants to deal with the DMV?!After about 8-10 weeks of owning the car we still had not received our updated registration as our temporary registration (provided by the dealership) was about to run out. We contacted on a number of occasions regarding the issue and were promised we would receive returned calls which never happened. We were able to get another temporary registration from the dealership in September after they explained there was some hold up with the DMV. That registration has now expired meaning I am driving a vehicle without valid registration. We have contacted the dealership more than a dozen times asking for some resolution to this issue. We continue to get the run around, they refuse to provide us the contact information for their GM and once again, have yet to receive a returned call from anyone at the dealership. I have emailed my request to either have some type of documentation of the issue that I could provide to an officer when I eventually get pulled over OR that they return the money we paid them so that we can pay the registration ourselves. They have ignored our requests and continue to tell us they are looking into our case with the DMV.I honestly hope that this is not an experience anyone else has to go through. I rarely write a review but the customer service and lack of communication is so appalling and unacceptable at this point I felt others needed to be forewarned before handing over thousands of dollars to this location. I would give them zero stars if possible but that is not an option.* UPDATE: They just informed me that this is happening to multiple people so be aware that if you purchase from this dealership you may actually end up driving your car without a valid registration. In addition, when Ive called, as directed, to speak with Karina they have put me on hold or sent me to voicemails. Apparently no one at this dealership actually ever sits at their desk.
Well, my experience with this Dealership was so bad. Expensive deal with 2016 CX-5 Touring with multiple issues. I thought this SUV is smooth as I test drive some of it. The suspensions are really bad, and vibration are noticeable with all the mirror vibrates and they keep denying it. And the worst thing is, their service department are not professional, they messed-up my vehicle during my first oil change, tech forgot to screw up back the undercover. I will not recommend these place to any one.
5 Stars across the board!!I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Westcott Mazda, especially with Eduardo Orozco! He was extremely patient and answered all of our questions. He was not pushy AT ALL and was very honest about all of our options/what would be the best options.I am sooooo happy with my CX5 and would recommend all of the team to anyone looking for a great car buying experience!!
Alberto is a nice sales consultant and very professional. He really tried to work with us however Edwin the manager was unprofessional and condescending. If you are a woman he will not negotiate with you. I had a different experience with Darrell C. at Mazda in El Cajon. We walked out with the car that we wanted and at a very reasonable price. Darrell is interested in keeping his customers happy and will work with you. Darrell and all the team at Mazda in El Cajon are awesome. Go check them out! You will not be disappointed. You were misinformed. That is not what happened but that’s ok. Ladies take your business to Mazda in El Cajon. Ask for Darrell C.
This was the most pleasant experience Ive ever had at a dealership service. I rarely write reviews, but between Oscar being extremely friendly, punctual, and helpful (which was true of all of the Mazda team I interacted with) and the great amenities while waiting (including fresh popcorn) to the speed of service, I had to write a review - A+!
Always leave with what you are not after
Bought my 2014 Mazda 6 here two years ago and it was the best car buying experience I have had in a very long time. NO hassle, NO playing games... NO back and forth let me talk to my Manager. Staff was friendly and very helpful. A few days ago, I had an issue with my car. Engine light and other lights went on and I took it in. They kept it for two weeks. Besides the issue I took it in for, they addressed other concerns I had as well. All under warranty. The entire time my car was in the shop, they provided me with a loaner... 2016 Mazda 6 I Touring... Very nice! Would have given it five stars if the door panel would have been installed correctly. Have to take it back to get it fixed but that is minor.Thank you!!!
I got an e-mail from the sales manager via the sales person if I was interested in upgrading my 2017 Mazda CX-5. I called the sales person & we went through some numbers & we were interested & he asked if we could come in. We did & finalized the deal which was approved by the sales manager & just has to wait for finance. Mind you were even paying for the car cash so we figured itll be a quick paperwork. We were told there were 2 people ahead of us. Hours go by & were still waiting. After 5 hours of waiting I was cold, hungry & tired. The sales person comes over so frustrated & embarrassed to approach us because the sales manager who approved the deal is getting countermanded by the general manager. If this was the case why wait for 5 hours to tell us? I felt bad for the sales person because he was the one who had to give us the news. We left & the next day we got a text from the sales person apologizing for not making the deal. I waited for any of the managers to reach out & explain or say sorry but nothing. I usually dont write negative reviews nor complain to corporate office or want anything bad to happen to anybody but the experience was beyond me. I worked in an essential industry but we always get drilled that number one is customer service. The fact that we werent even interested in upgrading since our car was really taken cared of & has only 13000 miles on it after 3 years, if not for that e-mail. So this review is to maybe for the dealership to get a better training on better customer service. If theres in house fighting on whomever is higher than somebody then dont do it at the expense of the customer. Have a better communication & lastly have the decency to face the customer & not give the unpleasant job to a minion. Obviously for one to become a manager these people had the attributes to become one. Thank you.
I purchased my first car on my own from the Westcott Mazda team. They were thorough and extremely patient with me throughout the whole process, answering all of my questions.Specifically: Alex, Edwin, and Matt went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal and even made sure I got the specific color of the vehicle that I wanted (that they did not have in on-site inventory). The Westcott team is exceptionally professional. In addition to their competitive prices, they are personal and exemplify a high standard of what automotive sales should be.
Edwin has Benny Great to me and my family.. bought 2 new cars in less than a month from him.. best car salesman Ive ever dealt with.. thank you!
Best Mazda experience. I previously leased a Mazda 3 at a local dealership near LA. The service was decent but nothing close to what westcott offers. Edwin is my go-to guy from now on. He is very professional and straightforward and was upfront with a great deal before I had to drive 4 hours down to their dealership. Everything went as expected when we arrived. Overall, Edwin helped me get an amazing deal and I had a hassle-free good experience to get my new CX-5. I definitely recommend you to check out their dealership and ask Edwin to help you out with the car you are looking for. Good luck!
Edwin was great to work with and I never felt pressured to buy. I love my new to me Mazda CX-5! The only reason its a 4 and not a 5 is because they automatically charge for the door scratch protection theyve added to all of their cars. But all in all a great experience.
I went to find a new car for my husband and I actually like how they took care of us there I didnt feel pressured everything was good but there I felt like people were paying attention to me and taking care of my niece and answering my question I purchase the car we love it and we would recommend other peoples to get one there too
PJ the finance guy here was really rude and disrespectful. After we chose our own financial institution to get our sons vehicle. He got rude and told our son that he would prefer us to go through them so he can make more money. Sorry, but I’m trying to make it as cheap as possible for my 20 year old son. Then he started texting about they haven’t received a check from the bank. The bank had already showed that the check was received. For a guy that has “15 years “ int he business. He needs to find another profession. I do not recommend anyone going here until he is gone. Semper Fi!
Always great service!
Great staff and prices. Its the second time I lease a car with them, first the Mazda6 and now the CX-5 and they gave me great deals both times. Super friendly staff. Ask for Eduardo, he attended me this second time and was super nice, plus he gave me a good deal! Recommended!
They were nice at first and picked me up to test drive a car but then pretended they didnt notice a huge chip in the windshield and then when I wanted to leave to think about it before running any paperwork they made me feel really guilty and like I was being rude for wanting to leave. made me really uncomfortable.
I ran over something on the freeway the other day and I was afraid maybe it might have caused damaged underneath my car. I called Westcott the next day and Oscar told me to come right in and theyll look at it. Anthony looked over my car, said everything looked good. They washed my car and I was on my way. Great customer service!!!
I bought a brand New 2018 Mazda 6 and less then a year later, the braking sensors are malfunctioning and all electric in displays are going out while driving on the freeway. I called service and spoke to Alex in service and he tells me they can not even look at my car for a week. That leaves me with no vehicle to drive for the week. He did nothing to try and make arrangements for me at all. I would not recomend buying a Mazda. I put my confidence in this brand (Mazda) and a New car totally under warranty and now I am without a vehicle.
Amazing customer service.
I came in for a couple recall things, but i had an issue with my melting dash. They covered that under an extended warranty. No hassle at all! Everyone was cool and polite. Makes me think about making my next car another Mazda.
It was the first time I felt welcome and respected. Ms. Denise Day made me feel like I was a valued customer. Instead of the usual wait of 2 to 3 1/2 hours, my car was done in approximately 1 hour.Keep up the excellent service, and eventually enjoy a booming service department.
Buying a car from Westcott Mazda was the most positive experience ever! It started with communicating with Eddie O. via email, he followed up by calling me, to meeting with him, my test drive with “Uncle Rom,” and finally working with finance manager John P. (In the past, I have bought cars from Ford, Honda (2), Nissan, Plymouth and Kia.) Each person that assisted me was professional, friendly and informative! There was no pushiness. I found them to be very ethical - it made me feel great to do business with Westcott Mazda!Westcott Mazda also has an excellent online loan application that you can complete ahead of time that will save you oodles of time!I have shared my positive experience with my friends, family, neighbors and Farmers Insurance agent! When I come across a friendly and ethical business, I am happy to share my experience.
Westcott Mazda gives me a very satisfactory service of my car. Recommended a five star excellent customer service. Makes my day a happy one.
Second car I purchased at Westcott Mazda. Each experience better than the last! Each team member went out of their way to make my experience better. Big thank you to Edwin and Eddie who went above and beyond to make my purchase a reality. “A” team at Westcott Mazda!!!
Service: Oscar is very understanding and helpful. If I were you I would try to request him or just wait for him BELIEVE ME he is worth the wait. The other guy there, lets just call him “Mr. A” has no customer service experience. Not nice, not helpful, or clear, and complains about his work out loud where customers can hear. I called with an issue and “Mr. A” was the first to answer. He made it seem like there was nothing that could be done that day (which I understood) and I would have to wait until the weekend.. it was Tuesday. I did not get a brand new car for my issues to be overlooked! I have a job and depend on my car to get there. I stupidly suffered for days until I called again. Oscar answered and he was VERY reassuring. I immediately felt better and he even told me to come in that same day (within their working hours) and he would make sure someone could help me. I got there and “Mr. A” was the one that “helped me out”... I should have waited for Oscar. “Mr. A” was NOT helpful. Could not answer ANY of my questions. Some simple as an estimate of how long I would need to wait, don’t mind waiting just wanted to know. He was complaining to his coulleges about how much work he had and kept making it seem like my issue was nothing and now he HAD to deal with it. He would say all this with me being in earshot! Honestly I will keep coming just for Oscars amazing service but if he is not there I won’t hesitate to leave.Buying my car here was super easy and kinda fun definitely recommend it.
Im writing this review because I truly had exceptional experience purchasing my new Mazda3 and they deserve it. And as for my sales representative, Eddie Orozco was amazing. Ask for him if you want a good deal and want to have a great experience.
Everyone at Westcott Mazda was helpful in my purchase of a CX-5. Through several phone conversations, I secured a very low price for the vehicle that could not be matched at other dealerships. Completing the purchase paperwork was painless and straightforward. Im very happy with the whole experience!
I have worked as sales in dealerships before, and I know how the game goes, as I was one of the top team sales. Ive purchased 20+ vehicles for the last 10 years, and they still want to play the 4 square game with me. Told them straight up what I wanted, and they wanted grind me down. I simply walked out of the wolves den. If the the sales was any smarter, he would follow up, but they rather prey on the next victim.
Great dealership. Honest, polite and have a great collection of Mazdas
Ram is a great sales person. No pressure when looking for a car, and he was very patient. Finance was great to work with. I came in looking for a used car and ended leaving with a 2017 model. On my next purchase, I will consider Westcott Mazda over any competitor.
Purchased a Cx-9 through the Costco auto program on early Sunday morning. Edwin was our salesperson. He was very patient and helpful. We were very satisfied with the pricing and financing available to us. We would definitely recommend this dealership.
I was coming in to see if my tires are covered under warranty. After making a few phone calls with Mazda and the manufacturer of the tire, an appointment was made to inspect it at Wescott Mazda. The dealership has to talk to the tire manufacturer to verify if it is covered. To emphasize, the appointment was set up by Mazda, not me.When I arrived I explained the situation. They were a little confused because they usually dont get this, which is understandable, I imagine this doesnt happen often. However, the whole process of trying to figure out what to do was not a good experience since 3 of the reps sided against me, in a very accusation manner. One of the reps literally accused me of cutting my tire.I was just there because I needed a dealer to talk to the tire manufacturer to see if it is covered under warranty as instructed from Mazda and the tire manufacturer, no more no less. Finally, another rep, Mario, was reasonable enough to make the phone call to the tire manufacturer and it took about 10 minutes. Thats all it has to be done.Dont get me wrong, I love Mazda and my car, but the customer service needs work at this particular dealership. I had better experiences at other dealerships.
Mohamed (sorry if I have that spelling wrong) was great. He explained everything I asked of him and was very knowledgeable. I also really liked that he was not too pushy like many of the other dealerships I visited. He was also very patient as I requested multiple test drives just to make sure I made the right choice. The finance team also worked hard to meet my payment goals.I love my new CX-5 and would recommend this dealership to anyone!
Marco and the whole Wescott Mazda team were really supportive in helping us purchase our vehicle. We initially wanted to finance a Mazda 3 i sport and they were able to negotiate a better deal for us for an i touring (one of the more equipped versions). The sales team was friendly and seemed to understand our parameters instead of pushing the sale as some dealerships still do. I even ended up talking with them for a while, it was very chill. I recommend this dealership.
If I could, Id give them zero stars.1. when I purchased the vehicle there were tons of issues just getting my registration2. service is bad. Ive owned two vehicles and both times, they take 2.5 hours just for an oil change even though I had an appointment. Went to another Mazda dealer and In/out in under 40min on a weekend with no appointment. by the way, they recently went through a service department refresh but seems the same as the old folks
Excellent customer service, the sales team is very friendly and attentive.
Excellent service from the sales and finance departments! We were shopping for my moms car and they took the time to explain everything to us and gave us the best deal! I will buy my next car at westcott Mazda for sure!
If you are looking for an affordable car but still want some luxury, you need a Mazda. I had my Mazda 3 for 11 years and loved it. The base model came with things some luxury vehicles didnt have at the time. When I went to buy a nee car after all this time, I was set on Mazda already. Our salesman Juan Carlos Lopez, made the experience even easier by being friendly, low pressure, and patient. He let us take our time, talk things through, and made sure we ended up with everything we wanted in a new car. Ask for Juan Carlos or JC. You wont be sorry!
Johnny, Eddie, and Henry were great help. They would let me leave without getting in the car i wanted. They were very professional and did everything the could and now im excited to get on the road.Thank you so much
Both key fob batteries had died, so I was using the actual key to get into my car for past 2.5 years. This morning either key wouldnt unlock the car. I spoke with Mario from the service department and I totally stumped him! He sent out two guys to see if they could assist.. Since it was my only vehicle and I have a seven day old infant! The guys were able to replace the batteries for me allowing me to unlock my door from the key fob!! Thanks so much Mario and team!! I truly appreciate your assistance!!
These guys are a breath of fresh air in a suffocating industry! I have never felt such a calm, relaxed atmosphere with zero pressure than I have with Westcott Mazda! I went in for repair and oil change, and they gave me 5 star treatment from start to finish with no up selling or hidden costs. Also, the complimentary ride to work and back to the dealership was above and beyond thanks to the driver who couldn’t have been a better conversationalist! You definitely earned my respect and my future business! Superb job folks! I look forward to my next scheduled appointment.Kevin Buckhouse
We were led to believe that we got four months of free satellite radio. We did not get that. When asked after the purchase, we were lied to and said that he told me and showed me and he DID not. It doesn’t feel good to be lied to. Everything else was great.
Its was a very easy, knowledgable and courteous experience I have had purchasing a vehicle. The salesperson was very nice and patient. Finance Dept., expedited all forms etc, prior to entering that process in which it was a pleasant and speedy transaction.
Had a great experience there really nice people great prices my son loved it and so did I and I know you will too
Great customer service. Óscar Monroy was great thank you🙂
As good as it gets is right! The team at Westcott Mazda did an amazing job. Gilbert our sales rep walked us through the process of getting a new Mazda5. He did an outstanding job. Gilbert was straight forward and transparent in the process as possible.Getting a car can be a irritating, lengthy process. I have done it several times and out of all the times I have never had better service. I think financing a new car is one of the most the most unnerving parts of the whole process, but Joey the Finance Director put my wife at ease (no easy task). I was impressed with his negotiation skills with the finance company! He really worked hard to get us the best deal. So, we got a new car. They shined up our new Mazda5 and even got a tank of gas. I would highly recommend visiting Westcott Mazda whether its your first time getting a car or you are a seasoned vetern of car buying. These guys are real pros and it shows in every step of buying a new car.Thank you Westcott Mazda!!! We love our new Mazda5
I got a phone call offering me the Managers Special for an oil change and tire rotation. I was given an appointment the next day at 4:30. When I arrived at my appointment, the person who was behind the desk told me that they do not make appointments after 3:30. Ever. I showed her the print-out of my email, with the appointment date and time (4:30) on it. She immediately went to her team. They stayed and took care of my car. They even washed it for me, and all in about 1 hour. Everybody was smiling and friendly. No one seemed put-out that they had to work on my car when they were supposed to be going home. It was a VERY pleasant experience.
Best experience ever, 2nd time buying a car here and Eddie and his team are by far the best... thank you guys for the team work...Happy Customer....😃
I came in for service and had also requested additional maintenance on other items that were recommended l. I approved all the work showed uo to pick my car all was good untill I took the time to go over the maintenance and repairs done, to discover that they totally missed one of the service ls I requested.Called the person back and let him know and had me come back to complete the work they had charged me for. Total waste of my time, so annoying. Not to impressed with Mazda’s service department so far.
We just purchased a Mazda from Richard at Westcott! I was dreading buying a car, but as it turns out, we could not have been more pleased with the entire process at Westcott from beginning to end. The dealership had exactly the car I wanted; this was fortunate because they were also pleasant to deal with. Richard and Michael were extremely professional, friendly and NOT pushy! We were able to negotiate a great deal because they were straight-shooters and didnt play any ridiculous games; which we appreciated. I would recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a car. Go see Richard!
So I texted originally with a female who told me to come in and meet with her. I never met her, which I will think was a little weird. I ended up being helped by a salesman named Mr. Gilbert who was really nice and conversational. I know my credit is not the best but I did think that I would get a car that a little less miles but you guess you gotta get what you can when you are rebuilding your credit so am thankful that i was approved and that their financial person made everything so easy. I think Honda Civics are known to be good cars so I was happy to approved for one. It ended u being a year younger than the car I drove in, which was also ok. It did have more cosmetic damage than mine but of course that would have had to happen when one of the previous drivers drove it. There were some nics and the weather stripping all the windows was completely eaten up, there was none at all around the windshield but like i said, an older with a few previous owns so I guess maybe thats to be expected? I do wish one of the owners had not replaced the music system with a CD player but I digress, if those have the worse problems that really wouldnt be too bad.As I took the test drive, which lasted about 5 seconds because the car was on E, I really didnt get to see much of how the car operated except it started well, ran well and everything functioned well. We get back to her dealership and unbenounced to me, I was set me up with a loaner car, and I didnt really know why but I asked Mr. Gilbert if they could please fix why the TPMS light was on and he said they would look into that and make sure everything was running well and clean the car so I said ok and they kept the car for 5 days. I called to see about a time on picking up the car the day I was due to pick it up and the service person told me they had sent it to the dealer to deal with an airbag recall and that they had dealt with the TPMS light at the service department before they had sent it.I get to the dealership, pick up the car. By the time I complete the 10 minute drive home the TPMS light is back on. The top the numbers that indicate your speed are going off and on so that sometimes it looks like your on the freeway driving 70 and it says 10, the lights for the gas are all off and on top, so you cant always take how much gas you have. Then the key fob that locks the car and arms the alarm only works when it wants to. I try the air conditioning and only get cool air, so is the coolant system out too?The day I pick up the car I call when I get off work and leave a message with the service department that there are some problems with the car and to see if anyone can call me back. When no one does I call again during service hours and they say that Oscar deals with used cars and will not be there till tomorrow. So I call to speak with Oscar the next day and when I am transferred to him I tell him the same issues I detailed in the last paragraph and he says that he was testing the fob so that was strange. He told me to bring the car in but he could not guarantee me loaner car. I explained to him that I work 3 jobs so I cant be without car so he said to first let him look up what was covered under my 5 year warranty and he would call me back.I financed the car on the 1st of November, picked it up the 5th of November (Tuesday), spoke with Oscar the 7th of November. It is now November 24th. The key fob now does not work at all so I have to leave me car unlocked and unprotected wherever I go because there is no way to lock the two back doors, the gas lights are off more often than on, the tops of speed numbers are still flickering off and on, no a/c not sure about the heat, the TPMS light is still on and i have yet to receive a call back. If i am able to get some assistance I will update this review but right now l dont have a lot of hope for that so Im a little disappointed by this dealership because I thought from hearing the name in the past it would be more consistent, had a better reputation and wouldnt treat its customers like Ive been treated
Customer service was great they were quick and professional.
Hands down the best new car purchasing experience Ive ever had. The staff were more than polite and professional and the whole process was done as fast as it possibly could have been. Well done.
Very nice guys at Westcott Mazda. If you are in the market for a Mazda - be sure to check them out. I got a great deal at on a CR-5 today. They have a wide selection - despite what other dealers tell you about how in short supply those vehicles are.
This was my 3rd lease and I have to say, this was the best service I have ever experienced. Eddie really undrstood my budget and got me to that. He was not just looking to get a sell, he tried everything to get me into the car I wanted at a price I was able to afford. I highly recommend Wescott Mazda.
Any dealership can wine and dine you during the purchasing of a vehicle. But Westcott Mazda has given me exceptional service every single time Ive returned. Salesmen and service personnel all treat you like they know you. Getting an oil change, they wash your car. Repairs? You get a prompt shuttle or loaner. Emails and phone calls returned. Crazy future coffee machine in the waiting room for free, and they even leave the remote behind for the TV.
Be aware of you trade in your vehicle make sure to follow up since they are infamous about not paying off the trade in on time. I had to go to the dealership and pickup the check myself to pay the bank after they promised it was done and then found out all was a lie.
I bought my 3rd Mazda 5 from Westcott this week. Its always a pleasant experience working with them. Kudos to Ram and Mike for getting me an awesome deal.
I just bought 2 cars from Westcott in national city a couple of months ago. I have never owned a mazda before but decided to give them a try. One was a brand new 2019 car and the other a used car for my daughter. The sales people at the dealer were really great and nice. I dont have any issues with them, but now I am beginning to worry that maybe I made a mistake purchasing from them without doing my research on their used vehicles!! I also should have gotten the extended warranty on the used vehicle because the other warranty only lasted 2 months for the used car and of course two and a half months later...my daughters check engine light comes on and she is at the repair shop being told her entire emissions is bad and everything needed to be replaced! Granted I know used cars are a gamble sometimes, especially with older cars, and I didnt get the extended warranty, Im pretty much SOL, but my concern is how did this car pass smog before we baught it beings that we would end up replacing all its components 2 and a half months later after purchase?! We were told the car had no issues and was in good condition. Now Im worried what will be next and hopefully my daughter will be safe and not have to worry about how much the next repairs will cost. In addition to that I have a new 2019 car from them as well and I am just thinking maybe I wont take it for service there anymore since this is happening and is not a good impression for me! Blargh.
Got my car here, have it serviced here regularly. Staff is always friendly, though its service representatives seem to replaced with new ones every time Im here! Prices are comparable to other shops, but why take it to another shop - Mazda takes care of Mazdas and they seem to be doing a solid job of it.
Very impressed by the service of this dealership. My wife and I are truly thankful to our sales guy ERNESTO ALVAREZ MALO. He helped us purchase a 2017 CX-5 Grand Touring. Would recommend him without thinking it twice, if you are looking to have a pleasant experience, go to him, he will make you feel welcomed and explain the process of buying a vehicle.
Unfortunately had a bad experience. Panels not reattached properly and the battery testing system failed to identify a battery what would die a week later.
Dont bring your car here for service. This place is run down, understaffed, and small. You pull up to the service line with an appointment and you have to walk inside to try to find someone do talk to.Most likely theres no one around and you end up ringing a tiny bell to get someone over. The employees here also lack people skills.
Good salesperson
Poor customer service
This is what I posted on Yelp : Came in to buy a new mazda 6... worked with Mohammad.... very pleasant to work with... gave me every detail he could about the 2 vehicles I was looking at to help me decide between the models. I have been car shopping the last few days and other dealership salesmen were kinda pushy where I did not encounter that here and I appreciated that. When it came to the paperwork it was such a smooth and easy process.. probably the best experience Ive had yet for purchasing a car. Taymur in financing was awesome as well... loved talking story with him... both of these guys made it such a great/easy experience. So far I highly recommend this dealership and the 2 guys named above.
Friendly staff & professional
Love this place to gat my car don at👍😎
Buying experience was amazing... everyone was friendly and the process was very very transparent. Eddie orozco the internet sales manager was a pleasure to work with. They gave me a great deal and i was more than satisfied w my purchase and experience. Will definitely be recommending this dealer and Eddie as well.
The staff was awesome, even if I didnt have the free maintenance I would still go back. Keep up the great work!
Great customer service across the board! Eddie was exceptional, thorough and helped me get into a brand new car! I really felt that he cared!
I love their professionalism. Too bad I cant have my Midnight blue color without the leatherette seats
In and out.. great service
My background is sales/customer service, diesel and gasoline vehicle and heavy equipment mechanic. These guys will lie about everything to get a sale AND will not help you with anything. I just filed a BBB complaint with these guys. Yes, I did give them a good amount of time to fix the problem they created. Spend the extra couple hundred dollars at another dealer and AVOID these guys.
Pulled into the service department to get my routine service done (oil change, tire rotation, car wash). The employees didnt even bother to get up from their desk to ask how they could help. Stood there for a while and just got starred at like, who are you, and what are you doing here?Zero customer service skills or interest after getting the best customer service at John Hine for over a decade. We recently moved from Mission Valley to Otay Ranch and figured we didnt have to go to Mission Valley anymore because Mazda National City was closer. Wrong! Regardless of our proximity to National City, Well continue to take our vehicles to John Hine where the customer service is A+, even if its further out. Well just make a day out of it and visit our old neighborhood while were there. John Hine appreciates our business.
Diego Garcia at the parts counter is a really great guy!
Very bad customer service I was put on hold for 23 min. Just to talk to service. The guy on service the Manager not friendly it all. I definitely not recommended.
I dealt with Ramaat who was knowledgeable about the product offering and pleasant to deal with. Once I had sold my own car I revisited Westcott and picked up my new CX5. So far so good!
Great service dept. I have taken my M5 for 7 years, and they never disappoint.
O.K. -- long story short, instead of negotiating prices with me, a guy there ends up driving me to full on TEARS, yes -- I was bawling because one of their sales reps was yelling at me for trying to negotiate a lower price (this guy was seriously getting worked up so badly that the other guys in there had to calm him down). Maybe I was wrong but I thought negotiating was part of buying a car? What the hell kind of dealership is this anyway, putting on a good cop bad cop scene? (They had a real nice old guy available to diffuse the situation and calm me down). Sorry but this isnt the olden golden days, because those tactics belong in the same category as the old bait and switch (OLD AND FORGOTTEN) you promote shitty business and you get a shitty review. Take your business elsewhere people.
