The good: The people and the salesman are very nice and polite. They had the exact vehicle I wanted. Overall the experience was pleasant.The bad: I understand that each dealership works with different financial institutions for financing. I also understand that kickbacks are given to create these business associations. When it came to financing, I specifically asked to get me the best deal and APR. Now, I know my credit is good. I was a bit insulted that I was given a 3.94% APR. you felt that both the dealership and PNC banking were not looking out for me or my interest as a customer. I mulled it over for two weeks and contacted USAA. After working a deal with them, I refinanced the vehicle for fewer months, a lower monthly payment, and an amazing APR of 0.69%. This is the deal the dealership should have given me. Do your homework people.
Cella Ford in New Bern, NC is an awesome dealership! They worked really hard to get the payment & price that would fit into my budget. Everyone was great. They even called me the next day to offer me a better finance rate. Even though the deal was done. I have never known a dealership that does that & I worked at one years ago!They made a repeat customer out of me & my family!

Eric and all the staff at Cella were very easy to deal with. While some things didnt work at as well in my favor as I would have liked negotiation wise, considering the current market they were very fair. Additionally, there was no pressure, hidden numbers, gimmicks or some of the slimy stuff some dealerships do. Eric was our single point of contact the whole way through, except the finance/documentation portion.Once in the finance office, there was no pressure for add-ons or anything, there was an offer and explanation with clear costs provided for add-ons & warranty stuff, but no games which I greatly appreciated. We breezed through the paperwork, stopping comfortably as needed without pressure.We had to drive over an hour to go to this location and are very glad we did.

I got out to look at trucks, f250 preferably. I was approached by an older african American salesman. He asked what I was looking for. I said a half used truck for work for around 25k. He said I was looking for a unicorn I said nothing else. Jumped back into my ride, drove across the street to the Chevy dealer and bought a beautiful, great condition, perfectly maintained, half used f250 for 25k.

I would give them 10 stars for the sale service that I received from Jon Broughton and James Waters. This dealership is 100% pro-military, pro-military retirees and pro-veterans. Really hoped to make a deal on an 11 Camry which had just appeared on the site. Low miles and in ok condition. Needed a lot of cleaning, but thats no big deal. Still, they were asking substantially over book value (this is not my first rodeo).Kathy, the first voice on the phone, was VERY pleasant and helpful. When I had questions about flexibility on price, she put me in touch with Dennis. Again, very nice and helpful. I live an hour and a half away from the dealership (thats what were faced with these days given the limited inventory out there), so before I made the trip I made it clear that I would not be paying asking price. He told me that they need to sell 135 cars a month and if they didnt make it happen early in the month that they wouldnt make it at the end of the month. If I made the trip that they would make a deal I would be happy with. Fine... saddle up!Test drove the car, which had a mechanical issue that needed to be resolved and I wished to have my mechanic (who I have a 15 yr relationship with) bless it. Cella agreed - a little reluctantly - and asked if this would be enough to seal the deal. I let them know that once we got a clean bill of health that we could move forward but would still need to agree on price. In hindsight, I possibly could have been clearer on my expectations.Once we were satisfied with the general condition of the car and began the discussion of price, this is where we hit a wall. No further adjustment to the asking price was a consideration. At all. Evidently Dennis promise didnt carry as much weight as I had hoped. The car was a decent vehicle, just way over-priced. I have no doubt that they will get their asking price from someone, just not this guy.At the end of the day, I have over 6 hours and $115 invested in this car (plus gas) - oh and I paid to have the key fob repaired... your welcome. With nothing to show for it. Thanks for wasting my time. Lesson learned.
This was my first service by Cella. They were prompt in scheduling an appointment that worked with my schedule. I dropped the vehicle off and it was done promptly. They called me when it was ready and were courteous and helpful
I recently took my 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid in for service and was delighted with the friendliness, kindness, and professional manner in Cella Ford. My service agent, Maurice I believe, was kind, funny and reminded me that I had Ford dollars left from my purchase that made this service call for an oil change, tire rotation, and general check up free! I will be a regular customer for all my routine service at Cella Ford!
There was no sales pressure! Ron Locklear, our salesman, was very friendly and outgoing. When we decided on the truck, there was not a lot of price hagling back and forth. I would not hesitate to purchase from this salesman and this dealership again!

At first, we were happy with our experience but it steadily went downhill throughout the process. We were pleased they agreed to deliver the car to us with a fair price and pick up our trade unseen. I specifically asked to be told about any dents, scratches, etc. before the car was delivered and the question was never answered. When the car arrived, it had not been detailed, had dog hair inside it, had a fender loose, and several places on the car were scratched. We were going to send the car back but our sales associate, JT, called the manager and confirmed in writing that all of these issues would be fixed and encouraged us to go ahead and complete the transaction. We decided to trust that they would be good on their promise. We kept the car that day and returned it the next day so that it could be cleaned, fueled (as it had been delivered with low fuel) and detailed with scratches buffed out. The following day we returned to pick it up and it had been properly detailed yet the fender was not secured and no gas had been put in the car. We live 45 minutes away and it was late and we were ready to go home so we accepted that no gas had been put in and left. We called again to request that the fender be secured and were told we would receive a call for their guy to fix on Mondays and the call never came. After 30 days our permanent plate had not been delivered so we had to call and ask for it. They did drive it to us that day, thankfully. It was a bad experience that could have been great if Cella Ford would have delivered the car properly cleaned and repaired or followed through on what they promised.

This is probably one of the better dealerships I’ve been too. I live in Jacksonville NC, so trying to find a car In Jacksonville isn’t exactly easy especially sense it’s a military town everything is pretty much overpriced, and a lot of the cars in Jacksonville have high mileage, more then likely due to military residents trading in cars. I randomly came across Cella Ford online as I was looking to trade in my 2014 Dodge Challenger for another one, Cella Ford in my opinion went above and beyond to help me not only find financing but to also help me get the car I want, 2 and a half weeks later and I ended up leaving with a 2017 Dodge Challenger, I definitely recommend this place, Craig and Lisa were great thanks again!.

According to guy on lot its been gone to body shop and wont be back till Monday. I guess I know why she Couldnt answer question.
I was very pleased to do business with Cella Ford and Jon Broughton. It was a low key and relaxed transaction. Cella Ford priced the vehicle at a fair price so there was only a little negotiating. All parts of the transaction went smoothly.After my purchase I was offered a free oil change at the next needed service. Went to this dealer to correct an intermittent error message about the backup camera system on my 6 yo F350. The first visit to the service department was less than ideal, but I got a call from the service manager and the general manager asking me to return so they could make it right. I have to admit, I was wrong and the suggested repair (from the first visit) did in fact correct the problem. The GM called me a few after the repair to make sure that the intermittent problem had not returned. I would take my truck there again for service
First off, I chose Ford because of a decision to switch from GM vehicles to Ford after GM took bailout money some years back and Ford high level personnel just took pay cuts. Since then, Ive purchased three new Fords for my family and when upgrading to another vehicle, it will always be a Ford. On my trip to Cella Ford I had the intent to drive away in a new truck. I was met with a helpful and knowledgeable salesman that took my needs and wants into consideration when showing me the available vehicles. It didnt take long to find what my wife and I wanted and we soon began the paperwork. Since the vehicle we chose had just arrived that day, there was a lot of processing the dealership needed to do to prepare it for sale. We did our part and the salesman thundered through the steps to ready the truck for transfer. The finance department did a good job as well and we went with the maintenance package which has become very convenient when I am away on business and my wife needs to drop off the vehicle for servicing. Every interaction with service has gone well and anything I need looked at gets taken care of. Would I buy Ford again? Most certainly Yes! Would I buy from Cella Ford, hell yeah!

Cella Ford is superb! Topnotch people in sales, service, and in the processing of needed paperwork getting the job done in an outstanding manner. We just recently bought our second vehicle (2020 Escape Titanium) from them because theyve earned our business.
This is the third vehicle we brought from Cella Ford, and sadly it will be the last.Initially, we walked in looking for a specific salesperson. He was out, but another salesperson by the name of Steve started helping us. I was explaining to him that there was a used F-150 that we were looking at. In the middle of speaking another family walked in. Steve put up one finger and said, I am sorry, but I have to go, and left my wife and I standing there looking ridicules. We were both in shock. Another salesperson did offer to help us after, but we just wanted to leave.As we were leaving the salesperson we were looking for pulled up, and I told him about our experience. He apologized and asked us not to let that experience interfere with our business.We decided to look at the truck and wanted to make sure we liked it and that the mileage was not too high.We informed the salesperson that we wanted our information ran through only one finance company, and we provided the name and our pre-approved information.When they come back into the office, we were told that they ran our credit through Wells Fargo as well as the finance company we asked for. We would never do business with Wells Fargo, and wondered why they ignored our request not to run our credit through anyone else.Our sales person was great, but those two experiences ruined it for us.We felt disrespected and ignored, and that is not how one should feel when they are spending thousands of dollars at your business.
Very disappointed in the process. First I received an email about a price reduction on a brand new truck I requested information on. Then I received a phone call from them confirming the price, and that the truck was still available. When we ran the numbers it was discovered that the online price wasn’t correct, and they couldn’t honor their online price. After some back and forth we agreed on a fair price. The following day I went to sign the papers, and take delivery. When we did the final walk around it was discovered that the truck was hit in 3 different places. This is a brand new F-150. I just couldn’t buy a $40k + new truck with damage (not scratches, dents). I was told that they would find another one for me. That was Friday. It’s now Monday, and I haven’t heard back.////To follow up...they did call me back and offered the truck at a lower price, along with it repaired. I did not accept their offer, because of the stress it took to get to the deal.
We were looking for a 1 year old car and Cella Ford had one we were interested in purchasing. We came to view it, were given a 1 hour test drive without Dan Mansfield the sale person coming along which was great. Came back and we were intending going to another dealer to view a few more but after a discussion and Cella meeting our valuation for our trade and a price for the vehicle that they were selling that we were also happy to pay a deal was made. Like many people who buy a car the horror of dodgy sale pitches and high pressure salesman put the public off. Well, from my experience this is not what those at Cella Ford do and that is much appreciated by me. We found everything as easy as it could be and how it should be to be honest, simple, quick pain free and easy. Test car, agree the price, bring your cash, sign the forms and you are done, it really was that simple. With that I am more than happy to recommend Cella Ford and Dan Mansfield if you are considering buying a new or used car.

I was so skeptical when first walking in as I was was pretty sure that what I wanted and what could be done were going to be miles apart. Boy, did the team at Cella prove me wrong! Staying late, customer service above and beyond, and making sure a customer feels more like family, seems to just come naturally to this dealership. We went into the dealership just looking and found a great deal! Within just 3 hours we looked, test drove the vehicle and we were driving off the lot( with suv 🚙 detailed and filled up) in 3 hours! Recently relocated to the New Bern NC area from Virginia, I found myself in need of a bigger truck since my husband bought a boat. Devin Manning and the whole Cella team has been a delight to work with. They are accommodating, professional, not pushy at all. Devin bent over backwards to help us figure out which car was best for us. It came down to an Escape and another make/model car. I must say, we got a harder push from the other company putting down the Ford Escape vs. their vehicle. We never heard any criticism of the other car from Cella, just the pros of their vehicle. And they worked with us to make it the better deal for us.My daughter has her Ford serviced at Cella. When her wheel was damaged by hitting a giant pothole, Cella came to the rescue to fix rather than replace the rim! The service and parts department has been very good to work with. I wish I could remember the gentlemans name, but the fellow at the service desk in the work area is always extremely accommodating and helpful.

I recently purchased a Ford Focus from Cella Ford, and the highest compliment i can pay is that it did not feel like buying a car from a car lot. Lee was our salesperson, and we could not have done any better. Polite, knowledgeable, patient, friendly, etc.The biggest thing is that we outlined our needs and our budget, and the cars that matched were the only ones brought to our attention. No attempts at up-sales, etc.We had been to several other dealers, and were generally met with a salesperson, a sales manager, etc. At Cella, we worked exclusively with Lee. Other dealerships typically did the You like car X, youll love car Y. I know its more than you want to pay, but if you get a 7 year loan... And This car probably wont be here tomorrow. At Cella, there was none of that. We drove several cars, and were allowed to keep one overnight to test out.And we got the right car, at a price that True Car states is very good.100% satisfied with the whole experience.Highly recommend Cella Ford!!
Please be careful before you go there. Cella Ford can rob money. They dont fix anything for my car brake but still charge 130.00 for checking.

August 17, 2018.......Went to Cella Ford, New Bern NC for a scheduled oil change last night on our 2018 F150. As always, William, in the Service Dept, showed Excellent Customer Service! He is very knowledgeable and answers all questions we ask about our vehicle maintenance. I was a bit apprehensive when using Cella cause I did find their BBB accreditation. However, when I called the business, my call was answered in a very professional manner. No background noise or in attentiveness from the speaker.When I did arrive with my vehicle the person at the counter was not who I spoke with, but was aware of my situation and was able to get the person that I did speak with.The technical, Maurice, that I spoke with was helping another customer that was VERY HAPPY with her service. That gave me some reassurance. When I began to deal with him, I realized why. He as well as everyone else I dealt with at the service department were VERY PROFESSIONAL. Maurice acted as if he were attending to he own car as he explained my issue and took my vehicle in for service.The repairs were done extremely fast. Even though my repairs were expensive, I didnt feel bad about paying the money, because it was money well spent. This service department is what old fashion customer service used to be.Now, although this dealership is not modern and fancy it was extremely functional. Technicians worked diligently, paperwork was neat and organized, the in-and-out process for customers was smooth.Thanks a million Cella Ford!
We had the most amazing experience today at Cella Ford! We walked in looking for a specific truck and Alan was super friendly and took us out for a test drive. They were so helpful and made sure we got the best interest rate and the lowest monthly payment! Even when we thought we’d have to give up and walk away without the truck, they helped us out (two different times)! The customer service was great from everyone we met and they were geniuine in wanting us to go home with the truck we wanted but without pushing it onto us! 2 stars because they gave me 20 bucks off my oil change, and they were nice,but absolutely no excuse for a 2+ hour oil change and inspection. Made an appointment last week, and they said I wasnt in the system. Might as well drive to Morehead and go to Lookout Ford.
I was very well please with my work done on my 2012 Ford fusion. Maurice Frazier took care of me. The put the new airbags in my car plus a sensor for the air conditioning & a filter. They brought me back home and pick me up the next day. Maurice has always been kind * helpful to me & my husband. He is now deadSo he has been wonderful & helpful. My husband and I have owned a lot of Fords since 1957. Cars & Vans. He was in the army and him & his buddy would drive from north Carolina to pgh Pennsylvania in and old Ford in 1953 and that convenience him on Ford.
William in the service department is the best! Very friendly and helpful with my issue. He took care of everything for me without a ton of hassle on my part and it was done quickly. I had a great experience compared to dealerships in other places and I will be taking my Ford here for anything else that comes up. I also saved a ton of money so everything taken into account I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

I came in for an oil and filter change my truck was so new, it was the new 3.0 Ford diesel and it required a special motor oil API FA4 rating. They didnt have it in stock but assured me they would have it the very next morning and they were kind enough to loan me a vehicle overnight to drive. I came back the very next day and it was done. The people and the service was just outstanding they really cared about great customer service. I will be a lifetime customer of Cella Ford.

These guys replaced my tires and changed the oil in record time! Thanks to the service dept. my car Lincoln is running like new again and the tires are great. First rate dealer. (Update - they were so good I found a 2008 F150 on their site and drove from Raleigh to by it. I was done in 45 minutes and driving back home! They have great people there)

From the very beginning of our relationship, Cella Ford far surpassed my expectations of a car dealership. They beat my local dealer with the price of my new Escape by a lot. Enough to make me drive an hour to buy it. Just had my 5K check up and the service department was outstanding with the way I was greeted and treated. To add, I just had my 10K service done, and guess what? The same GREAT service, with friendly people to help you. Great place to do business.
Posting this review from the dealership as I wait (over 3 hours so far) for them to finish changing the oil and mounting/balancing one tire, service that I had an appointment for. To their credit, I guess, they have apologized and then followed that up with an explanation that the holdup is because the technician doing the work is still in school. I have total confidence that the admittedly unqualified tech will do a great job. My first and only trip to service department here. I will not return.

I had a few concerns regarding the performance of my recently purchased F-150. I contacted my Sales Consultant Ron Locklear who advised me to bring my truck in to their service department and they would address my issues.When I brought my vehicle in I was met by Maurice, one of the Service Advisors. He documented my issues and then had the Service Manager go on a test drive with me to show him the problems. I was told that one of my issues was in fact a characteristic of the new style transmission that my truck came equipped with, but they would still run a diagnostic test on it.Upon returning to the Service Department I was told my vehicle would have to be left for a while. I was offered a loaner vehicle to drive until mine was completed.When I returned to pick mine up Maurice explained what they found and how they corrected it. I was further advised to contact them if any further problems arise and they will address themThis is my first purchase from Cella Ford and definitely not my last. I have received nothing but excellent customer service and professionalism from all the staff Ive dealt with since my first contact with the dealership.Hats off to Cella Ford !

I bought my 2010 Mustang GT about a year ago from here and I can honestly say out of all the dealership I went to this is the best. The customer service is so good it makes you want to move in. Debbie helped me and I know I was a difficult person to help with shopping for a car. Shes so good she got me from a Camaro to a Mustang! I would recommend her or any of the Cella Ford crew to anyone. But seriously Debbie is great and very patient. She made my car purchase a great experience all around.
