JC Automotive gave me a quote, and it was extremely affordable, I took my car in to have my struts replaced and while it was in the shop he found something else wrong with the suspension preventing him from completing the repair. My vehicle was REALLY bad, so it didn’t surprise me that there was more to it than the strut replacement. We went ahead with the repairs and when we got our vehicle and invoice, it was not much more than what we were quoted for just the strut repair. I have been driving it all around town and to and from San Antonio for about a week, there’s no new noises and it’s a smooth ride. My SUV feels better than ever!I loved how easy and quick it was to get my vehicle repaired, and how friendly they were. It’s a small family owned business and I feel like they really care about their customers and their quality of work. Jacob is extremely knowledgeable and was so easy to work with. I will be taking my vehicle back there for more work (intake manifold) and will be taking my husband’s truck for a lift. Definitely going to make this shop “my mechanic.” I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing work.

I am very happy to have found an honest and reasonably priced mechanic in my neighborhood. Jacob and his wife run a family business, easy communication and fast service. I’ve brought two cars to Jacob, he checked the brakes on one car for me and said I didn’t need to change them yet and made sure to torque the wheels correctly when putting them back on, he did two repairs on another car, fast and reasonably priced. They even provided transport back and forth from my home while the repairs were being done. Highly recommended!

Car was leaking oil and Jacob was quick on what the issue was and got it done fast, luckily for me it was just replacements of the gaskets. And Bailey (sorry if i spelled it wrong haha) was informative on letting me know about the parts and pricing. They are both awesome, funny, and good professional people, definitely at the top of my go to list!!

I first gave Jacob a five star rating because all seemed to be working well after he worked on my vehicle. However, a few months later the newly installed front seal went out on my transmission. My truck broke down because the seal started spewing trnasmission fliud when we attempted to use the truck on my wifes vacation. I paid for towing my truck back to his shop and for someone to tow my RV back to New Braunfels. Jacob said he had changed the seal out, then said he couldnt find the right one then was very obscure about what he did do. Nevertheless, he wanted to charge me full price to install the seal again, $648. I figured since I had already paid him once and it had only been a few months, he should have not charged me full price for the work again. I did, however insist on a 20% discount which he did give me. Two weeks later after I have paid him thousands of dollars for major work on my truck over several jobs, it breaks down again with a busted power steering hose. I took the truck back to him where he discerned it would take 3 weeks to install a hose. His inexpierence very much shows because he put a new power steering pump on ths truck without changing the old rubber powersteering high pressure hose when I had previously ask him to change out all the rubber components on the entire engine. Bottom line is beware, he seems honest but is either inexperienced or unscrupulous, Im not sure. He will charge you full price for do over faulty work. Customer loyalty certainly is not a prority on his part as I tried to work with him to help him with his business to no avail. He bascially just blew me off.

What a lovely family owed shop! They are fair, honest and thorough. I am so happy I have found this shop.My oil was started really badly on my way from California to Texas, had to stop in the middle of Texas for help and the problem was not fixed, once I made it to New Braunfels Jacob took care of my car and made the problems go away. He spent all day on my car for a very reasonable price! Thank you!
