I usually have great experiences here although I called and was spoken to a RUDE salesman about my warranty never again will i be returning to THIS location. I tried calling back to get the salesman’s number and no one seemed to know his name.

If you are not a paying customer! Like you were when you paid for the tires from them at one time. And only here for warranty work. A nail in the tire and tire rotation. They will put you on the back burner for hours.. To service you. to help others paying first. Because they made their money on you already. This will be the last time I use discount tire. I could pay $10 for a patch and $30 for rotation at good year done in a hour.! then made more money being at work. That I lost sitting here not being at work this morning.

Had to have 2 rims and tires put on that were stolen at a hotel. Supposed to be Toyota Camry rims. One of the hubcaps was stolen and one left. When I picked up the car I never thought to check but the one hubcap was left in the trunk . Drive all the way back to Oklahoma and order another hubcap. And they don’t fit. The valve stems are exactly half a hole off. So these are not Toyota rims. Now I will have to either drive a new Toyota without hubcaps or get some more rims. I can guarantee whoever put them on tried the one hubcap and it wouldn’t fit so they just threw it in the back instead of getting the right rim last or at least informing me of it. In This day and age I will say that I am not shocked though. Plus they charged me 120 bucks for new digital air valves which still don’t register on the car. 👍

My wife’s tire had a screw in the sidewall, so I knew we needed a new tire. I went in to the New Braunfels, TX location, where I was greeted by David Reyes immediately. He quickly found out what tire I needed, and said they didn’t have it there, but could still order it for today. That was at 11:45am. I left my wheel there. At 3pm I was notified that the née tire was on my rim and ready. Upon entering the store, David quickly acknowledged me, and got the guys working on my tire. I was out of there in less than 20 minutes! WOW! Way to go David Reyes! I havent bought a tire from any other chain since 2003. No matter where in the state I stop by one the service and staff are top notch. I have had to use the warranty a handful of times and there is never any issue. They just get to work replacing your tire and getting you back on the road. This location is pretty busy so it may be a good idea to try and call ahead for an appointment if possible.

Super nice! I had a tire with a nail in it that needed repair My husband was in the hospital and I didnt want to be away from him for very long They worked with me and got me taken care of in a little over an hour, and that was in a Sat afternoon!! Super compassionate!

This store is great! Handled my tire warranty claim quickly and fairly, even though I bought the tires at a different D.T. location. Employees are professional and efficient. They honoured my military discount with respect.

I love Discount Tire. Theyre always so consistent. Even if you point out the nail in the tread, theyll find a hole in the inner sidewall that they cant show you because theyve already replaced the tire, gosh darn it. Oh, and did you know your alignment is off and they know just the person to fix it for you? 3 cities and half a doz stores, always the same shtick. At least you know what to expect, and can therefore counter it. Beyond that, theyre polite, effecient, and reliably inexpensive.

Awful experience at this place this past weekend. Had a punctured tire and they would refuse to repair it, with the sole purpose of forcing me to buy new tires; yes, the thread was low and I need new tires, but I needed an instant solution that allowed me to continue my way so I could later address the tire situation. They refused to help and pressed me to buy a new tire. They didn’t even have the specifications of my tires and suggested to buy one of a different brand than the other three: insane. Very rude staff and not helpful when I was in need of fixing the tire. I highly recommend a local tire shop nearby called Best Deal Tire Service. Honest guys. Avoid this sales people and save some money.

Waited an hour before I asked how much longer till my tire gets changed due to a blow out but warranty took care of that part. 2 hrs at best so I scheduled for a 2pm appointment. Was out by 2:45. Just for a tire change.

The service/sales people were not helpful. Ive be dealing with Discount Tire for over 20 plus years and service has only gotten worse. They cannot fix a tire if 2 holes are 1.5 inches apart? I can understand if they dont want to repair it...but dont lie to me about it. The last time I had work done here they broke a part of my rim and I had to wait several days for a replacement. Over the past few years things gradually get worse. I think its safer to have all automotive work to be done by local shops. Id rather not do business with Discount Tire because its a larger company that believes theyre on top of it all.

Rusty took care of me from beginning tio the end. I had a small issue with the hub caps missing and he ordered and replaced them. These guys are the best with the best prices. I will gladly drive 30 miles to give them my business. Highly recommended.

Arrived early before opening. Watched as they had their huddle. Then BAM! The folks started on their work day like a swarm of bees. Everybody was assisted quickly and on with their day. Awesome!

Hands down the best service. The most sweet people here. Definitely took care of me and gave me the best price. Ill definitely be back to get taken care again.

I had one damaged tire on my car. My wife went ahead and purchased two tires, so that the wear would be even on left and right. She gave them instructions to return the good tire, not on the wheel, to the trunk of the car. They kept the good tire, and charged a disposal fee for it...They were able to find the tire so I could return the next day and pick it up after calling them.

Over the last year and a half Ive noticed a trend that has everything to do with their sales associates concentrating more on trying to sell you the most expensive tire than actually trying to give the customer what is needed . I went into this store knowing exactly what tires I needed based on what I could afford at that time. Although I would have preferred the top of the line I knew with as many work trucks & trailers I maintain and being how I purchase about 12 to 16 tires a year I had to compensate at this particular time. Anyhow, I went in knowing the exact tires I wanted and upon facilitating that I do with the salesman he flat out told me they did not have that particular tire in stock. Obviously he recommended I go with the most expensive tires. After listening to his entire sales pitch on why it would be wise for me to buy what he recommended, right next to him, not more than 10 feet away another salesman was speaking to another customer who wanted the same tires I had originally inquired about. And miraculously this salesman stated there were 15 on hand. Talk about being upset. I nearly lost my mind! The salesman realizing what I had just overheard tried to back track and apologized for the error. He blamed this error on the system having a glitch. BS! Unfortunately this has happened on more than one occasion. I now deal with a few local smaller suppliers and only utilize Discount Tire when Im in a pinch. So word to the wise, if you have to deal with these guys expect to be led into a rabbit hole that leads into Expense-Ville.

I didnt make an appointment, and so it was about a 2 hour wait. The staff were courteous and I got up to date text information. We were able to walk over to Peter Piper and eat while we waited.

If they say its going to be about an hour wait, add another 2 hours on top of it, and thats what they meant to say.

Over all the experience was great . The guys in the shop are like busy ants. My tires were mounted and balanced quickly. Not to mention the guys in the shop were very polite. Now the sales office: Not sure why I was almost sold a tire a bit larger that what is on my truck and the price was $260.00 more on the total of 4. No no no, not happening. Saved myself about $260.00. Be careful if you have a truck and buying tires here. You may be up sold on something you are not wanting. Know your price!

I have been a very happy customer since Discount Tire arrived in New Braunfels nearly 15 years ago! I have a landscape company and they take excellent care of my truck and trailer tires. I have had many trailer flats, etc. due to being around construction sites. The friendly staff quickly gets me back on my way. They also sell quality tires at reasonable prices. It is nice to know somebody has your back when youre in need of tires and service. They also take care of my Dads vehicles and give him the same excellent care.. They got me in and out in a timely matter. They are a very busy store but they shake everyones hand and greet them like they know them. The store was clean they have fresh coffee and water for your enjoyment while you wait. By far the best customer service Ive ever encountered.

Fast service! I ended up accidentally ordering the wrong size tires, and when I showed up for my appointment they quickly assessed the situation, gave me the options to fix the problem and had me on my way in just over an hour... incredible! Plus they encourage waiting in your car or have and out door waiting area, they allow you to drive in and out of the bay so as little contact as possible ... very important to me!

Price and Quality of the tires were great as usual.The Salesman and crew were great as well.The only thing I found negative during my time at this Discount Tire, was the lack of patience to look over all the work done at the end of the job. The spare tire/trunk spare tools were not placed back as they should be. I worked at DTire for many years and I understand how busy it gets and that people arent perfect. But it was unsatisfactory in this case.Awesome place with awesome employees! 👍 They just need to slow down and follow their supervisors lead!

We had something stuck to the back tire some kind of rope we ran over on the highway going to New Braunfels and they removed it without any charge. They removed it very quickly.

Gave us a eta of 1 1/2 hrs and we were out in 45 mins!. Great service!!

They stripped the lugs on my back tires and didnt even tighten one in all the way. Its been a month since I was there and Im already having issues on brand new tires, will never be returning here for service.

I didn’t get very good service by going down to new Braunfels instead of my store in San Marcos. I set up an appointment and got down there early. Waited and checked in and had someone come out and look for the screw in my tire. They didn’t see it because it’s very small and The head had worn off. I went to the parking lot and checked the tire And found where the screw was. When I went back in and explained what it happened to the greeter/scheduler he said that I would have to get back in the queue. I’m not sure why he didn’t look up my account and see who originally went out there with me. Really irritating.

Thanks Discount Tire New Braunfels for fixing my flat in the middle of vacation! The tire was pluggable so we were on our way within the hour at no charge. This is why I buy all my replacement tires at Discount. But thankful when I don’t need one, I don’t have to buy one!

We just came to get 2 new front tires and they aired up our back tires for free as well as providing us to wonderful front tires within 10 minutes before even confirming payment due to our wallets being trapped in the car since it was already jacked up because they were going so fast they gave us extremely friendly and intelligent service all while we had our car hooked up to an auto transport trailer with another car in sight of it so they had no problems with doing it in the parking lot instead of inside the building to avoid us having to backup I would definitely come back here any time

Dont offer military discounts. Was told that they dont do appointments very bad service and Ive got to wait until they replace the old tires been here for an hour already. Im not very happy with this place. They dont offer the customers any water or something to drink

As soon I walked through the door I was helped by a nice man that was eager to solve my problem after we went to go look at my rear tire that had a damaged sidewall and needed to be replaced immediately, so we ordered the rear set and I left my car there overnight as they didnt have them in stock since I have an odd tire size.Tires were put on whenever they got them in the morning and she was ready to be picked up after I got out work no questions, no hassle. I very much recommend this place for all your tire needs.

I really want to give them a 5 star rating, but I cannot because they are always so busy I always have a long wait. Don’t get me wrong, they have great products and service, that is most likely why they are so busy. Even with 2 locations in town, they are super busy at both locations. Wow, maybe I should open a store of my own, or you can! It is just a pain to always have an hour wait, but they have good policies and services!

TOO BUSY......MAKE an appointment.....they are so busy I think they figure customer service with a caring smile doesnt matter..who has time .....poor guys......I always went to the San Antonio locations cuz even tho they are busy ...they are soooooo friendly....worth the drive....this location had 9 people ahead of me and I got there at 9am..and a line of people still coming.......Discount Tire could open another location and probably still have more than enough customers. Just a point of view and a perception of seeing the place on a week day.

My tire was split, shocked I made it to the shop. I was greeted pretty promptly and the guy took my cars info. They magically could not find that my tires were bought at one of their other locations. Which I understand, no franchise wants to honor a purchase made elsewhere. I paid for the new tire, handed a receipt and told it would be really quick, like 45 minutes. Thank goodness it was closer to five minutes. They put the new tire on and checked the air pressure on all of the others. Easy peasy, got to stay in my car as well. My biggest complaint is that their staff was enjoying the radio station they had on. It was R n B and when music was playing, everyone was happy and moving and just in the moment. But then commercials came on!!!! Commercials!!! Seriously, yall charge me $120 for a tire and cant spend $10 a month for Pandora for your staff to be happy????? Not kewl.

Brent ordered the tires I needed for two different vehicles. Had them installed on one vehicle today. The store was well organized, friendly and professional. They had ne back on the road in less than an hour. Very pleased.

I went to get one of my tires checked since it was leaking air. Even though the wait time was 1 1/2 hrs,(they were very busy.) They checked the tire and found nothing wrong. They did change the valve out. They could have told me I needed a new tire. Discount Tires is a very trustworthy business. I have been going to them for years!! And will continue to,plus refer them to my family and friends.

I had a flat tire fixed and tires rotated. Since they let you stay in your car or step out I chose to stay. I was Amazed! These guys work their tail off. I have never seen so many people work so hard. I got dizzy watching them. These guys deserve a big bonus.

All my tires are from Discount, I just pulled through for the first time ever to have my tires courtesy inflated. I was politely greeted by the young man doing air check. As I sit there with the window down some older guy (probably mgr or sales manager) comes up to ask my inflator about his service recomendations. Young man said Ive had a few come in for repairs). Mgr tells him to mention tread wear on my car. So he inflates 3 tires, then tells me he cant air up the 4th, its completely flat. Which its not. He said I need to pull around and go speak with someone about getting it replaced. I told him I cant do it today, but thank you for letting me know. He refused to put air in due to safety issues, but allowed me to drive off and get back on the freeway. I own 5 cars and 4 have Discount tires. After this, I am switching companies. Too unsafe to inflate, but not too unsafe to let you drive off. Im dealing with 6 busted water pipes, trying to find plumbing parts, trying to get water fixed and back on, but some jack@$$ sales mgr is trying to hit his freaking quota and LY #s because his store closed for a couple days is ridiculous. Probably because some regional manager will performance manage him if he falls short of goal due to a freak of nature or hes just trying to take advantage of a situation so his bonus is bigger. Forget you corporate America. Im finding the smallest, locally owned tire shop to buy the next 20 tires from. You completely lost my business and the business of my wife and 2 child drivers. If you put safety first, you wouldve blocked me from leaving with a flat tire. Funny how I got there and back. Will just use my own inflator. Will be tossing my paperwork in the fire tonight to stay warm. Adios Discount

The staff here are ALWAYS friendly, courteous, knowledgeable! They go the extra mile... I NEVER feel taken advantage of! I moved to New Braunfels 3-1/2 years ago and would not think to go anywhere else! Today I dealt with Luis and Leonardo and could not be more satisfied!

I bought new Vision Turbine wheels and AT tires. The tires turned out to be too big (rubbed on inside of fender wells when wheel turned). Eddie and team at Discount made it right! Discount Tires Always treats us very well, had to buy a tire coming from Colorado pd.$247 dollars, took tire back blew up on to Discount Tires,they refunded the $247 dollars back to me,for there defective tire 😳

We had to stop while driving through town on our way to our vacation. They were fast, got us out exactly when they said they would, and were very helpful. We also love that we can take our car/tires to be cared for when we are back in our home state! We are satisfied customers and highly recommend them!

Staff was friendly and nice. I did think that $39 was a little pricey to remove 2 tires from rims and then mount 1 of the two tires back on the other rim. Both my rims and tires also. They did not have to remove from a vehicle or put back on a vehicle. Just a spare tire for my trailer. Total time was about 40 minutes.
