This is one of the worst storage places Ive dealt with in the past 40 years! They are misleading on their prices, incomplete in their explanation of policy and blew up my phone in an attempt to correct an error made on their part. If mediocre is your style then youll be fine. But if your tastes are more refined then STAY AWAY.

My overall experience has been great. Making the reservation was easy and they followed up with me almost immediately to confirm. The called two more times, just to make sure we were going to use the unit on our reservation date.This would have been a five star review except for one thing.My only complaint was insurance is required to rent the unit, and that was not explained on the sales page or any of the three phone calls I received. After digging through the website I did find it.Do I need insurance for my stored goods?Yes, you are responsible for those items you store at CubeSmart and insurance for those items is required. We offer affordable self storage insurance options at the facility. In the event that you are already covered, a copy of the declaration’s page must be available at the time of rental.It wasnt made clear during the process until I checked out and noticed the charge on my bill. I just found this to be bad business, since they are going to charge you for insurance you dont need, if you arent aware of the requirement to bring proof.SO BRING PROOF OF INSURANCE or pay for their high costs insurance.

I’ve used The same CubeSmart location for the last 3 moves spanning a 10 year period, the most recent while our house was being built for the last year. The our closing was delayed by 3 days after our payment would be due and as a courtesy we called customer service on the 4th asking if there was anyway to pay a small amount or a prorated fee for the additional few days literally from the 7th when it’s due to the 9th when we close on our home, advised that shouldn’t be a problem but talk to the manager onsite and they can work something out. Sunday at noon I received a call from the Manager “please note not the General Manager who has always been pleasant” and she stated there is nothing she can do and “this is why I always advise people to move in between paychecks” assuming you have customers from all walks of life I can understand that. However, this was not a we can’t make the payment but a simple our closing got pushed back and we would rather not pay the full months rent if it is only for 3 DAYS. So Sunday we emptied our unit and it’s all packed in a POD. Might be small to you all and by no means the lack of having us as customers will the be financial fall of CubeSmart but I can promise you I will never spend another dollar of my money or recommend your service again based on the lack of empathy and customer service after being a ten-year customer.

The owners were so helpful with a truck rental. I needed a large truck that could be affordable since other truck rental companies were charging a arm and a leg. The owners of this place were not only able to get me the truck I needed but made sure it could fit within my budget. The rates for there storage units were also very reasonable. I would recommend this place for anyone needing a truck rental or storage.

I went into Cubesmart today looking for a storage place to rent Tammy showed me 3 units she was very professional, I came in I was sweating because we are moving She had me sit down and offered me a bottled water very caring individual. I explained to her that we were just starting to look just moved down from California and looking for a home to buy she listened to all of my concerns and wrote all of my information down and to give me time to decide she is a very caring individual she was very easy to talk to, she is a keeper you don’t see that anymore in customer service someone that is worried about her customers coming in from the heat here in Texas.

Dena at Cube Smart in New Braunfels, TX made everything about my move and storage easy as could be! She understood my needs, shared concerns with me that I might not have thought of, and made sure that everything about our transaction was clear. She went above and beyond, and even raved about how much she enjoyed her position at Cube Smart, and meeting/helping people. The units are spotless, the grounds are safe, and the whole experience was pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my experience with Cube Smart in New Braunfels. It is a very clean and quiet location. They have many dollys and carts in place for customers to use, which was a life/back saver. They regularly go by and check each unit to make sure its locked (which is good as I left mine unlocked once). They have a nice little store that sells packing supplies, boxes, tape, and labeling decals. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very nice business to deal with.

If you need a moving truck, go here. They always have trucks available. Friendly and quick service. My review is late, 12-1-15, however I wanted to make sure people know about the high level of personal service you get at this location.Good luck moving to you new place!

We stored our household in a 10 x 20 ft. unit for 10 years! All furniture was just the same as when we put it in there. I found nothing damaged or missing from the boxes I unpacked. We have been VERY pleased with the professionalism of Connie and Mitch and the friendly service we get every time we have wanted to access our belongings. I highly recommend CubeSmart to anyone needing long or short term storage.

Very clean & accommodating staff. Security cameras everywhere. Climate controlled units are great. My only complaint is the FACT that the rent increases at least once a year to every 6 months, so after a while, that few bucks here and there starts to add up ... so what was once a great price point, eventually became a sore point. So after several years, I finally had had enough of the constant rate hikes and moved out.

What happened to Connie and Micth??????I have had severl units at was American Storage then be for with no notice they change to a diffent company.I visited the store three times today to see about renting another room since we are in between moves, the sign on the door said they would return at 3 PM still no one availble to help.... Not sure if we will even keep the current unit we have rented since the rates have doubled....
