Good variety of tools. And a good value for the backyard mechanic type. Professional mechanics I feel would need to upgrade.

Prices are pretty good, quality not so much. Ive had several tools break just from regular use (handles cracked and fell off, tool tip broke off, and drill bit snapped for no reason). Just try to test for cheapness or lack of quality components BEFORE you buy, returns are not always easy!

Probably wont be going back there, not worth the drive. No 20% coupons, no freebies and most of their prices have gone up. Might as well just go to the local big box stores, at least you get a veterans discount there.

Over all nice staff and nice place but they always seem to be out of what we need and never know when they will have it back on stock. They do look up to other stores to see Id they have it. But I dont really wana drive to butler or Monica to get what I need when theres a Harbor Freight right in town

Good quality tools at fair prices. Got a couple of 24 aluminum bar clamps for a project Im working on and even got to use an electronic coupon for a 20% discount.

The guy at the checkout had the personality of a rock. The web site said they had the product but when told what I wanted a quick response of we can’t find it

Not in favor of the term cheap tools no matter what it adds up but i do like the help here and anything is better than our lowes. 4 stars

Great for junk throw away items or a homeowner. If you plan to use your tools constantly and beat on them they dont hold up. Trash paint brushes and cheap batteries things you dont really care about good place to buy them.

Had lots of tools and helpful people. Well stocked and good prices especially for their Inside-Track-Club, which is easy to join and take advantage of. My husband got a mobile double sided bin (on wheels) and things for his router, sanding belts, spray gun, impact socket adapter etc etc. Helped us load car.

The staff has always been really helpful when I ask them a question. You can find some pretty decent quality items here at extremely reasonable prices. Matter of fact, the Hercules titanium drill bits are the best bits I have used. Had them for 3 years, used constantly & never failed me.

I took back a inner tube with my receipt and a 90 warranty..the guy charged me 1.67 extra...my point if its a warranty ..why was I charge for a replacement?...i am going to call back tomorrow.. I will be speaking with a manager...last time I go there unless I get my money back!

Last week I called the local HF store and they told me they had a torch cart so I drove up there and no cart, then over the weekend I went back to get a 64 pc.quinn socket set they had advertised for 59.99, no socket set then today I stopped to pick up a set of 12 screwdrivers for 24.99 they looked like pretty good screw drivers but low & behold they didnt have any .although I am satisfied with the things that I have purchased in the past .I just wish they would keep the stuff they move a lot of stocked up a little better.

Butler HF sold out of the air compressor I wanted but informed me that New Castle had two. I called immediately, & they still had them; a nice young lady said theyd hold one until closing. Sure enough, they did & it even had my name on it.

Good selection of tools here. Clean store. I subtracted 1 star because they had a 44 tool chest on black friday special and had absolutely Zero in stock...so I have to come back again at a later date to get the tool chest. Why run a special and not stock the item?

For the prices, it is hard to beat. You get what you pay for, generally speaking, but there are definitely good deals to be had here. My plate compactor was less than half the big name compactors and it had more than paid for itself. Starts right up on the first or second pull every time. Even after sitting all winter

They are always friendly, and they have the cheapest tools. My husband is a diesel mechanic, and he buys most of his tools here. The coupons and free stuff are awesome.

Okay, so I go in there for a 9/16 and 1/2 ratcheting wrench or just those sizes in a socket. Do they have that most common size that I can just pick up and go? NO! You have to buy a whole set just to get one or two. Ive heard that their stuff is cheap junky and Chinese made but I dont use it much so figured it would work. Total disappointment. Better going to Walmart for your tools!

This place is horrible. After several items I went to the New Castle HF for were out of stock and an unhelpful sales person I asked for a manager. A shorter gentleman man with too much gel in his hair came out of the back. He was very rude and seemed to be purposely trying to frustrate me. On the way out I asked the cashier what his name was she said Eric. I left without making a purchase.

Harbor freight has to have to WORST online customer service I have even had to deal with. I order a sandblaster and blasting media online know the 31st of last month. So I wait 12 days and nothing ships. So I call the customer service line to just cancel my order and buy the stuff in the nearest store. Theyady I talked to said I can try and cancel your order that was 2 weeks ago, and then last night I get a notification that the money for my online order has pulled out. A week after it had been Cancelled. And now I have to sit around and wait for this order to arrive at my house so I can drive to the nearest story and try to get my money back. I will not be ordering from them again.

Look for sales and join the insiders club to get the best deals. If your looking for commercial grade items look else where. If you want something inexpensive that can get the occasional job done HF is your place.

Nice store but call before you drive in, I had a coupon for a tool chest and they didnt have it and no other store in the area did either. I have had this problem a few times now. I am thinking I will not renew my inside track card. The great deals are just ok deals as of late. I am very disappointed with how Harbor Freight does things as of late.
