Awesome work, attention to detail, great customer service, and the price was right! Dave fitted my 2021 Honda Pilot with a bull bar that does not interfere with my emergency braking system and looks great. He also put a double layer bumper guard on the back that looks great and will keep my bumper ding-free. I am so thankful to Dave and Beauty! They make a great team and I will be back for my roof rails and running boards. Forgot to mention that they also tinted my driver and passenger side windows. They do awesome work at Idea First! I highly recommend them and I will definitely be back!

I went into idea first for a tint job and I was amazed at how great Eddie and his staff were. I knew going in they were great but when I saw the finished job it was even better than I expected. 10/10 work and the guys at the shop were great very friendly. Was looking into a chrome delete to go along with my new tinted windows and when I went in Eddie gave me a great price. I would recommend idea first to anyone who is interest in quality tints.

I brought in my 3 day old BMW 3 series to these guys knowing full well how capable they are since they helped me with my previous car. I wanted it wrapped before New York got the opportunity to do any damage to it and these guys were very responsive and agreed to take my car in right away. Other custom shops would not be taking my car for 2-3 months and I’m so glad I didn’t wait. They did the most pristine job possible on my vinyl wrap, ceramic coating, headlight smoking, and tints.The owner should be noted here too: he was always keeping me updated during the process which I loved! I missed my car a lot, having surrendered it so soon after purchase but he ensured me that the work was being done properly and beautifully.I will always give them my business from now on.

I got my windows tinted hear and it came out horrible! First of they charged me 150 just for the 2 front windows and a sun visor on the windshield! The guy that tinted my car did not wipe down my windows properly and the windshield. The tints had so many dust specks and i mean a alot! Also he did not fully tint my window because you had a gap on the top of window because the tint didnt reach the top of the window. I came a week later to inform Davin and the tinter about the dust specks and the gap in the tint and he said its because the panel has a lot of dust in it! Also the gap is because if he tinted all the way it will not work on your window or some lie he said. And the owner was agreeing with him any lying to me also! The window is fully up when you tint a car window!!! Its not in the panel when you tint it! Also when i told the owner Davin about the sun visor tint having dust specs and not being cut properly around the rear view mirror he said that he did that for free and i was originally charing you 160 and and i will redo the one window for you only. Even though they offer me a 1 year warranty. Also had water rings on my passenger side front window which he said will go away but it didnt. I had to come back again and i showed Davin and the tinter was blaming me saying you came back late! That window was redone by some other tinter but it didnt come out good! I was so done with coming back to this shop i went and got my windows redone by someone else and they came out great. Do not waste your money here. Also they use cheap spectrum tint. I added photos.

Ideal first is the place to go for all your automotive needs. I have my car system installed and I couldn’t be happier. I Have a Car that needed a new stereo. I knew nothing about Idea first sounds. I googled car stereo installer near me and Idea First came up. I read the reviews and saw that Eddie received a lot of nice reviews. So I gave a call and Eddie answered. I came in to meet Eddie and Eddie was a total gentleman and easy to talk with. Eddie has a nice demeanor. I was looking for a certain Apple Car Play radio because I had an old standard that was outdated. I had one in mind but Eddie immediately switched me over to a soundview. I was not familiar with the Soundview but my friend who is a stereo guy said it was good. So I went with Eddies advice and he saved me a few hundred dollars on the radio. I also went with a reverse camera which is very helpful, I didnt even think about it but Eddie being the ultimate salesman suggested it and I am happy he did. It made a lot of sense. I was nervous to leave my car because I did not know these guys. So I dropped the car off and Eddie was nice enough to have Dave drive me home. Dave was great. He is a car guy! We talked cars the whole ride home. Turns Out they did a great job on replacing my stereo! It was done beautifully and professionally. Turns out Dave is a electronics Whiz. He helped me set up my phone to the car and explained it in laymans terms because I can be technologically challenged at times. So for anyone who is looking to Use Idea First Automotive I would Strongly recommend them. Eddie and Dave are great!!! Plain and simple,Good Guys!!!

I had a little issue with my installation that I bought, I managed to reach out to Idea First Automotive and right away Daven scheduled me for an estimate, they were able to configure the problems, wired the system properly extremely fast. The store manager, Mario also provided me with good recommendation and less than two hours; the installation was seamless completed with the professional installation. I am EXTREEMELY happy and highly recommend them!

Added extra $150 charge AFTER install was done and was quoted $156 leaving me no choice but to pay it to get my car back. Crooks and the work is sub par to say the least. $306 total. Then lied on google reviews and said it was only the smart start install charge however now I will post the proof so these scammers can’t lie. If you value your car or your money you will not go here. Choose a different shop. You’ve been warned

Service is A+. Unfortunately, they are asking $25 service fee for a free inspection !!!? and then they ask for tips when he cant get the $25 service fee ?!!!!!!!! Thats a shame

THEY FRIED MY CARS ECM DURING THE CAR INSTALLATION, THE MANAGER REFUSED TO PAY OR FIX MY CAR REPAIR.EVEN WHEN HE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT HE FRIED THE ECM HE STILL REFUSED.ITS NO FAIR THAT I HAD TO PAY OUT OF MY POCKET FOR SOMETHING THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR! After having a horrible experience trying to get an insurance photo inspection at BP on union and NHP road and denied for 5 days in a row I came across this shop. I am so glad I did. Davin is a SWEETHEART. I was so sweet to my 5 yr old niece as well. While I was there I set an apt to get tints on my new TLX this coming week!!! It’s because of his friendly demeanor I made the apt. I’ve already recommended friends to go check this place out!! Thanks Davin!!!!! Can’t wait to get my tints!! I’ll post an update after as well.

I had a really good experience. Kenny is the person to see because he is honest and reliable. He will fix the car and deliver it on time. Most importantly, Kenny is honest and upfront. There are no surprises with anything. I already know what I will be getting and what I will be paying. I would recommend this place!

Caveats First, Ideas SecondPurchased components for my car which rusted through after 2 New York. winters. Paid for the same thing twice, on the same car. I understand things are non-OEM in certain instances, but caveats at the time of sale of Hey, this is going to rust through in 2 years, consider paying $XX for this if dont want to pay for it 2x and make two trips to install it twice which will cost you more than double would be an ethical thing to do.

Had my coilovers installed for my 2015 Mustang here and they did a great job. Daven even gave me his personal cell and textes me with updates. Daven also stayed late so that I could pick up my car the same day. Charged $50 more than originally quoted but the inatall was harder and took longer than expected. Phenomenal job done and great shop.

I went to this place to install the front bumper of my Chevy Traverse and they did a very good job very professionally. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to make modifications to their cars. Good prices, good service👍👍👍👍👍 thank you for make a good job
