Busy market in a compact footprint. Well stocked shelves. Spotty mask wearing by customers. Numerous self-checkout stations. Adjacent to a NH Liquor & Wine Outlet, which is a bonus.

A decent super market. Nice people and a decently organized store but nothing to really make or stand out. Parking lot need some TLC.

Very clean, well stocked. Looks small from outside, but inside is decent size. Price is good too just like any other Hannaford!

Been going here for years for the convenience, but it’s gone downhill over the last year or so. It’s always very busy. Shelves are frequently low or out of stock. Never enough registers open. Everything is overpriced and the quality of the fruit and produce is fit for my compost. And now the cashier gets mad at me for going the the express lane with 15 items while the only other 3 registers open have multiple people in each line. I’ll be going elsewhere from now on.

Normally I love this store bit this time, no so much. Hannaford sent out, via mail a coupon for $8 off of any meat purchase of 8$ or more. There were zero exclusions except for gift cards and the like. I went to the deli counter and requested 3/4lb of corned beef which priced out at about $10. When I went to check out the cashier said the the coupon was poorly worded and that meat from the deli counter wasnt included. I let them keep their corned beef.

Recently remodeled and parking lot repaved. Friendly staff. Like the Meat dept. selection of seasoned choices to cook at home.

Easy to get to. The store is well stocked and kept clean.

I love going to this store. Today my friend and I were treated terribly at the register. I had my groceries thrown at the girl bagging. The flowers thrown. Then the receipt slammed in the tray. Raelyn was having a bad day and decided to take it out in two senior citizens. Never had any problems there ever. Sad the way you get treated nowadays.

I will not go anywhere else for my birthday cakes! They do have balloons too so one stop shop! Employees are fantastic and very accommodating! Definitely recommend using this Hannaford

Never really leave Hannafords entirely satisfied. More often than not their inventory is seriously depleted or disorganized. If you have any allergies or special food requirements go somewhere else. The best I can say about the store is meh.Update: 2 weeks later- I would avoid this store at whatever cost. This store has rearranged and in the process eliminated a VAST amount of their selection in favor of making it look... Nice? If you have any food restrictions, this store will make it more difficult for you to find food than just about any other grocery store Ive encountered this far. Used to love this store, now... Disappointed.

This Hannafords in New London NH is not set up well at all. I asked to stock boys for help and they acknowledged me then turned away not answering my question or directing me to someone who could help. Was a frustrating experience.

Hard to beat Hannaford anywhere you find a store.

Why is the store so frequently under-stocked in items such as miso, almond essence, yeast, pastry ... staples? Today (Wednesday), only Perdue chicken or Hannaford’s brand.For an area like New London (wealthy and busy) this store is appears to be second rate. Management issue?If it weren’t so far, we would use Market Basket in Warner. Their fish and vegetables are fresher.

Well stocked store with lots of all natural and organic selections. In the spring through fall the potted plant selections are marvelous all top quality and long lasting! The fuscia I bought last year is still blooming in my kitchen windows!

I have shopped this store religously since it opened, but during the Covid months it has utterly failed to stock its shelves with paper goods and PPE necessities. I have not seen wipes or paper towels here in months. I now must travel to the closest Walmarts which are always supplied with these items. Strangly enough, even the State rest areas on I-93 in Hooksett are fully stocked with these necessites. Hannaford clearly has supply chain problems.

Hannaford is always clean. Has good quality products and a good variety to choose from. Very good quality meat. On a good day you can find good deals. The staff is very friendly. This is the store that I go to pick up random stuff that Im missing from the pantry. I dont do monthly shopping here cause its to expensive for my budget. The App is a waste of time to download; especially since youre not saving anything.

Always a very clean store. The employees are friendly and honestly interested in helping you. Their aisles are clearly marked and always organized. The bakery has fresh bread twice a day and the deli will always make sure you sample before you make a decision. The produce section is fresh and one of the few stores where the salad hasnt gotten so cold that the lettuce has that disgusting see through freezer burnt taste. The carts are always orderly and never in parking spots. Ive witnessed baggers especially offer to help you when you have a full cart to your car. The sidewalks are adequately salted and cared for during the winter season. One of the cleanest and friendliest grocery stores I have encountered. I have even forgotten my debit card at closing and have had the manager allow me to go back into the store to retrieve my merchandise that they had kindly stored in the cooler while I drove home to get it. Excellent service!!

Store always has Help Wanted signs up which may signal something.Bad wages or high turnover. Or both.One cashier does not a bad experience make except this particular one was extremely rude during 1 visit.Lousy attitude and I called her on it and her response.. If you dont like it dont shop here.I suggest some customer training in customer courtesy.I agree with many that some prices are very high and the produce dept. is looking shoddy more often.And many items that I and others have bought are now discontinued.

Perfect best store i ever been too.

Hannaford usually has nice produce and their meat is good. My problem would have to be the grocery selection. They stopped carrying certain items I buy. I spoke with a manager about bringing it back in and she said she would. Been 2 months and havent seen it. I know its available because I called the company to see if they discontinued it, they said no.

Large, well-stocked store with super friendly staff. In a small town with few businesses, this place comes in really handy. During trips to the lake, Im here every day - sometimes twice.

Good selection, clean, generally high prices. They seem to have some difficulty keeping certain items in stock, which isnt a big deal when its cookies, but is a problem when its the brand of dog food I need twice a month.The meat department is shady. They often wont put the sale items from the local flyer out in the meat case. If you ask for it, theyll tell you to check the case again, then eventually check the case, try to upsell you to a different cut of meat, then tell you, sorry, not sorry, let me cut that for you, and please return in 15 minutes. Ive spoke to the store manager twice about the practice over the years, nothing changes.They charge you more if you dont put your personal information into their intrusive marketing program.Still, they have the only game in town, and I guess they know it.

Hannafords in New London New Hampshire has the best fruit Its beautiful and fresh and delicious. Its a clean supermarket but the prices are a little on the high side and the parking is a pain. But its the closest supermarket for the Sunapee / New London area, unless you want to jump on Rt. 89 and go down to Market Basket in Warne NH, which is also great supermarket clean & very nice and the prices are better than Hannafords

Its called cant afford for a reason. If I could give less than a half a star I would. Everybody in there is great,put on a working mans face till hannafords will not last me for the two weeks of my by weekcheck. Market basket is the best way to go

Good clean supermarket. Some of the items are a little higher prices. Staffs are helpful and polite. If you need help with your bags, simple ask the cashier.

Big place. Lots of choices. But three things are missing: enough check out staff, a bank of working self-check out computers, and a good meat department.

Small store but wisely they stock what sells in their district which makes things feel like they are cycled through frequently keeping everything fresh.

Always a treat to go to this store its small but mighty and I do not find it to be expensive at all when you get good service and good food its worth it.

Its a little confusing the way this store is laid out because they kept the old layout from the buildings former occupant. The parking lot is also a bit intricate. Friendly people, though.

Hannafords is a really good supermarket. Their produce is better than that of Market Basket, but that is reflected in the cost.

Its an ok grocery store, prices are uppp. I dont do buy much usually.

We love our local Hannafords. The ppl are hard working and friendly, the managers are more then willing to keep something stocked if you request it. The shelves are always stocked, and neat. The food: butchers, baked goods, and prepared meals are always fresh. Considering there is no competition nearby, we are so lucky to have them.

They have everything we needed. Great workers.
