Phone in the pharmacy must not work. I know they aren’t busy. Ever. Shame.
Good luck getting help or a coupon to work. Avoid avoid avoid.
I have only had pleasant experiences with the pharmacy staff especially the techs. For those of you who have not been on the front line working in this pandemic, you should give them a break. They are overworked and understaffed. In addition new tasks/responsibilities are constantly being assigned to them. They are only human. Everyone has a bad day sometimes.
It’s a real shame how this pharmacy has ended up. This has been my pharmacy for well over a year now but after the past 4 months I’m done doing business here. I cannot put all the blame on the pharmacy as a lot of this drama has to do with the iron fist laws the DEA has placed and refuses to adapt to modern growth in the size of our nation. But some of this could have absolutely been avoided. 1.) This pharmacy WILL NOT answer the phone. Ever. I called these people 4 times a day for 3 days and finally had to just drive up there to get an answer. 2.) This pharmacy for four months straight have failed to keep my medications in stock. Once or twice a year I get will happen, but this has been four months straight leaving me either doing without, taking a partial fill or chasing pills around the city pharmacies like some kind of dope addict. Should I luck up and find a pharmacy that has it in stock I then have to pray my doctors office is not so slammed busy that they can transfer the medication (DEAs fault for refusing to allow pharmacists to transfer narcotics to a neighboring pharmacy.. what a total senseless rule that literally serves no purpose but to screw Americans over). The final straw for me was the fact this pharmacy has had my prescription for 3 days now. They marked out of stock Wednesday (for the fourth month in a row) and told me not to worry it will be filled before I run out on Friday. Well guess what? It’s Friday and I’m told “oh we’re sorry it just didn’t ever come in..” like seriously my dudes?! How hard is it to see you’re getting low on pills and reorder them? If I’m selling something for a living I think I’d have enough sense to know when the jars need to be refilled.. anyway, if I could give this place a 0 star rating a would because at this point it’s a reoccurring problem and it’s the same pharmacy staff seeing the same face every month. Absolute mess this place has become.
Yikes, it looks like the negative reviews are for the pharmacy side. Ive never dealt with them, so I cant speak on that. But I do want to mention that this location has very friendly cashiers. Ive never had an issue here, theyve always gone above and beyond when it comes to my couponing adventures. Plus, this store is always very clean and organized. Kelvin is a gem, love him and his hospitality.
Scheduled the covid vaccine. Put in my insurance. Then turned away after they confirmed appointment. Bc they don’t take insurance
Do not use this pharmacy if you can avoid it. Went to pick up my medications and the lady yelled from 15 feet (literally) away wanting me to yell back my name, date of birth, and what meds I was picking up. Very unprofessional.
Last couple times i called the person on the line was seriously yelling at me and other people around her in an extremely rude and uncalled for manner for no reason other than stress. ive never had someone act so hatefully on the phone before, really odd. also not sure why they are stressed every time i go to this store the employees out number the customers 3 to 1.
The store is nice and well stocked. The pharmacy staff never looks happy to be there or to help customers. It seems to have become this way in the last two years. One of the pharmacists talks about customers and her job and doesnt seem to realize that we can hear her across the counter.
The front staff is friendly but the pharmacy is a mess, my prescriptions are either filled in 15 minutes or 48 hours there is no in between. Ive also noticed a change in demeanor of staff when the head pharmacist is working. She does not seem to show the same urgency as the rest of the crew and it shows on their faces. The rest of the time they are friendly and quick, although they have had trouble keeping some pills in stock and answering the phone. When I asked the cashier about that he said they’ve been playing catch up for a few days. I don’t know what that has to do with phone calls.
Not my first cvs choice to visit
Worst place ever pharmacy staff is horrible with the exception of a few
I definitely dont recommend coming here or even calling the pharmacy at this location. The line kept me on hold for over 45 minutes to even check on a prescription and Im still on hold. Im out of town so its not like I can just go to the location. This is ridiculous and they need to get better customer service or a new answering machine. Fix this. Its bad business.
The epitome of incompetence! Total screw ups!!!!
I like this CVS. I feel that the staff always answers any questions that I have and are all very nice and professional. They even remind me when is time to get my flu shot.
I have had to wait 2 weeks for them to order my medicine they should a daily inventory to validate how many they have left and order and in a timely and fast way to get ppl medications this happened to me 3 tines
We returned to to this pharmacy 4 times for a prescription. After waiting on hold on the phone for 39 mins, we discovered, after driving there for a 5th attempt that they had the information all along. This is not the 1st time that we have had similar issues and we try to be patient with the limited staff each time. We do not recommend this location.
This CVS is the worst store ever. Not only is their service horrible, but they are ALWAYS out of the prescriptions needed. I went on two different occasions same week for different prescriptions different people and had to wait 24 hours for them to order the medicine. This is flu season and you should know to stock extra on prescriptions needed to treat the flu. Then I asked the pharmacist if he could call it into another CVS, he said it would take them an hour to fill it. If people come in needing to fill ANY prescription it’s obvious they need to take their meds right away. Not only do they make you wait 24 hours to get the script filled, it also comes with an attitude like you did them something wrong. This place needs an overall make over, it’s obvious the manager can’t control his employees and the way this place is ran, so get rid of him too. This CVS deserves negative stars.
ZERO stars for the pharmacy. I called this morning to transfer a prescription and was on hold 25 minutes. I drove all the way from Avondale on hold. When I got to the counter I asked if their phones maybe weren’t working but she casually said she’s understaffed and so something has to give, so it’s the phones. So I patiently waited for my turn when it never was going to come. Very strange policy. Just to let people stay on hold until they hang up. No option to leave a message, bc they truly have no regard for your feelings. So how am I to feel bad for YOU when you are understaffed? I’m polite. I’m patient. But this is ridiculous.
Literally the worse service ever! Wish I could give them 0 stars. Pharmacy it horrible . Every time I deal with this pharmacy it’s a problem. They always have an attitude and never answer the damn phone!
This place is the worst. Looks pretty and all but the service, especially at the pharmacy is terrible. Late prescriptions, cant find things, cant fill things, delays, no notifications, hung up on... just awful... talking to some of the pharmacist workers they say its corporate - perhaps, but its awful...
I own a home in Algiers and decided to pass Walgreens and go to CVS since I hadn’t been there in a while and I try to support all of my neighborhood stores...I walked in at 8:50 the older guy who I assume was the Manager only greeted me after I made eye contact and instead of asking if I needed help or anything he decided to state “we close in a few minutes”... My response was “No i don’t need help with anything thank you” of course he looked confused...The cashier was pleasant and I told her thank you... I was out of the store in less than 4mins cus I was only going in for a drink and snack... On my way out the door at 8:54 he had already locked it and had to open it to let me out... A car was pulling up and I waited to see if he would let the person in and at 8:55 he had already decided the store was closed... The sign outside says the store closes at 9pm...Never returning to this CVS again...

Phone wait time is TOO long.
This CVS is the worst I’ve ever seen. They seem to pre-judge people by their medication. They always seem to be out of medicine every other day. I think that they need to close down or find a whole different crew to work this location.
Calling an the phone keeps hanging up??? Whats the problem??
The worst the pharmacy is awful..leave you on hold forever and take too long just to get a prescription they need to upgrade the pharmacy workers
Wow. Pharmacy is the worst. I have been trying to call for 3 days. I have sat on hold for a half hour every day.
Great service!
