I spent about $200 here on a variety of things. I was so impressed at the amount of items this place as, even more impressed they have an online store. I can’t wait to use the things I purchased towards bettering myself and the people around me. 💕

Such a relaxing and lovely atmosphere! The ladies that own the spot are so sweet and informative. They do have cats, and the cats are so chill💛 the oils smell phenomenal and so does just about everything else in the shop to be honest! Definitely recommend going here if you love divine meditational tools.

She answered every question with elegance, grace and confidence. There was passion in her voice when she spoke and I feel all of this is a reflection of the store values. She offered a book with all the DETAILED items from the apothecary.I need this book in my life !!!! 😍lol Please let me know if you decide to start selling it. It was extremely helpful when selecting items because for me looking at the wall was a bit overwhelming at first. The layout it beautiful in the store and everything is well organized.It’s funny how everyone naturally flows through the room without even realizing it. Kind of the ways bees do. 🤣😂 No matter how full the room was no one was really in any ones way considering the size of the space. But I can see an expansion in the near future. Burger King don’t need all that space 🤣😂🤣.Whether you live in New Orleans or just passing through, you need to stop by Haus of Hoodoo.No gimmicks, no games. Driving 16 hours was definitely worth it. A life changing experience and the vibe in there OMG its so welcoming. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable about their products. The locals are very lucky to have this gem in their area.

Visiting Haus of Hoodoo was THE prime reason for this first-time visit to New Orleans and it exceeded every expectation. The vibe in the store is something you cant put into words and the aesthetic is like nothing I ever experienced, and everything Ive looked for. There is an amazing variety of herbs- the dream apothecary! Fixed candles, oils for a variety of things and so much more. Definitely going to not only return, but be a regular customer on their website.

While this place is charming from the outside, I wouldn’t visit again. I admit I made a purchase here but after my transaction, I regretted it. I only spent $5 but the cashier had zero knowledge on the item I chose when I inquired about it. I was paid no attention for several minutes as well, even though I tried speaking to someone behind the counter. This store is fairly overpriced and pretty cramped. For me, the vibe was off.

Ordered a candle and good luck oil. The oil smells like it has a bunch of alcohol & perfume in it (no herbs at all despite the description) and the candle has a crack in the glass. Not worth $67 at all.

I watch the video and was interested in.getting a reading done and special candle made but I called and was told its not done like that i have to come to store or order online but they will recommend stuff for me. The person on the phone was very pleasant and helpful will order online .

Haus of Hoodoo has such a serene atmosphere. From the moment you open the door, you are met with a beautiful aroma and a great selection of products. There’s even friendly cats roaming around! I purchased the Protection oil, some herbs, and a couple of other things. One of the friendly staff members even offered to let me look through their book of herbs which was so helpful. I will definitely be making more stops here whenever I’m in town!

This place is a sanctuary, far more than just an occult store.

Besides being a store with a wealth of resources, it just feels good to shop there. It has a lovely, peaceful ambience and the staff are always very helpful.

I just visited Haus of Hoodoo last Wednesday it was amazing! The energy of the store for me was one with high vibrational energy! Customer service was great I got the help I need. The conditioning oils I purchased were amazing, powerful and exactly what I needed. It was a wonderful experience.

I haven’t had the honor of shopping here in person (YET!) but I’ve ordered from HOH via online and my orders always come in a reasonable timeframe. I’m talking less than two weeks! I purchased a Rose of Jericho from other places and they always had a bad odor after a few days. I got one from HOH and no smell whatsoever! I take care of this one the same way as the others. Candles are incredible to work with and does what they are made for. Also comes with instructions which I appreciate to receive the best outcome! I’m thankful I discovered this botanica! Shop is warm and welcoming. Staff are friendly and helpful; they even provided a detailed information sheet for everything i was interested in since I forgot my glasses and was having trouble reading the cards. Large inventory of herbs, oils, fixed candles, and more. Will definitely be back!
