Blake and his crew of 6 were outstanding. They took their time wrapping all of our paintings, mirrors and furniture. They also were able to take apart a large treadmill and get out of our house safely. Very professional the whole time here. Also accommodated us at last minute. Will always use. Hard to find good movers like this company.

Extra Space is the Rolls Royce of storage unit facilities. Gate and unit access is very easy and my unit is exactly what I needed as far as size and quality is concerned. Kirk at the front deck was BEYOND helpful. I will be recommending Extra Space to all that are in need of a storage unit.

The place is spotless, smells clean, and the staff is helpful. I have used new storage facilities before that left my items smelling strongly of pest spray and moth balls. That won’t happen here. It is also safe. I had to leave my unit unlocked for two days but nothing was disturbed. I highly recommend this location.

JUST signed up with Extra Space and I am telling you, they made the process super easy and trouble free. After making sure to help accomodate exactly what I needed, they handled everything quickly and professionally. both the manager Kirk and my intake specialist Miracle were just awesome! A few other details that made it a great experience: the are delightful when they answer the phone and they made absolutely sure that I knew all the details necessary to get through the process very quickly. My experience was amazing. The customer service provided by Ms. Aviyaunce Benjamin was amazing. She answered all the questions I asked and provided more information that allowed me to make the right choice in choosing storage.The place was clean and spotless, no issues or complaints from me.

This storage facility is super clean and affordable. Also, the staff is super friendly and very helpful. One of the staff members, Terriell, walked me around the whole facility—which is huge—and showed me various unit sizes and types, just to make sure I got the right unit for me. Highly recommended!

I accessed my unit for the first time the other day and it was so convenient! The facility is super clean and the other renters I encountered were so nice.

We rented a space to park our RV for the month of March as my wife is having surgery and we had to rent a house for her recovery. We are full-time RVers and not from NOLA.. Kirk, the manager, went above and beyond to accommodate us. Miracle, the asst manager, made the rental process so easy to complete. They have great security and the place is spotless. I would highly recommend this location to anyone needing storage.

Great facility, service and value!! The price was right for the size especially compared to other storage companies in NOLA, Miracle showed us the space/facilities and we had a seemless transfer of dorm items for the summer.

Even though I love Mr. Kirk...Im currently trapped inside the facility and cant get out.I came to the facility right before 10 pm (as I have done before) I loaded 3 buggies with stuff to place in my unit.When I went back to get the 3rd buggy, the door code would not work. So I call the horrible automated system and FINALLY got a human who informs me that I will EVENTUALLY get a call from someone.I AM TRAPPED IN YOUR FACILITY. I called at 10:24 p.m. and FINALLY spoke to a human almost 10 minutes later.This is really messed up. 2 buggies of my belongings are inside the facility and I am trapped by a gate that wont open. Oy Vey 😑😑😑

I rented at the extra space in Elmwood. They raised my monthly payment by $25 less than three months after moving in. I called to ask why, and the manager said it was due to market conditions. Yet, several months later, when market conditions fluctuated down, they were renting the exact same sized units I had for $30+ less than what I was paying but refused to adjust my rent down. So the market conditions argument clearly only applied to when prices go up for the customer, not when they go back down. I cancelled my contract and decided to move to the Tchoup location based on personal recommendations from friends.Well sure enough, I have been renting here for 4 months at this Tchoup location and just received a notice that my monthly price is now increasing by $21 due to market conditions. I highly doubt my price will decrease if these market conditions somehow return to lower prices.I am tired of being scammed by this company. I understand that I did not sign a long-term lease with a fixed guarantee, but this pattern of renting low then hiking up the price right after I move all my stuff in is simply egregious and frankly fraudulent on the basis of false advertising. When I get a chance soon (in other words, when my back feels good enough to lift heavy stuff again), I will be cancelling and moving to an entirely different company.Edit 4/12/21: They are now advertising the same type of unit I have for $110/month, yet I am now paying $142/month. Where is my market adjustment downwards? It only gets adjusted up, after you move all your stuff into the unit and are stuck there.

Fantastic experience! The facility is brand new, secure, clean, the units are climate controlled, they’re affordably priced and access to every unit appears super easy. If these reasons aren’t enough to convince you, consider the fact that their customer service is outstanding. I’ve had the pleasure of working with two on-site managers who are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and all around genuinely wonderful/caring/helpful people. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who has high standards and expects the best when it comes to everything. I can’t help but think highly of the top brass at Extra-Space Storage because it’s clear to me that they not only have a great vision on what the ideal storage facility is, but they also have a knack for recruiting great people and training them well. I hope everyone who reads this review takes it to heart because I rarely ever take the time to write a review regardless of my experience.

The facility was well maintained. I felt very secure and that my belongings would be safe. The spaces and halls were well lit and climate controlled. The manager(Kirk) was extremely helpful. We looked at my storage units, tried out my access codes and he even made sure that my locks worked before I left. He was friendly and informative!! My first experience was great!!!

If you’re looking for storage options in NOLA, this is the place to go! Temperature controlled, clean, safe, and very convenient if you live Uptown. Best of all, the location’s Manager, Kirk, was incredibly helpful and friendly. He took the time to show us several units, talk us through the options and price points, and was just generally a nice person to do business with. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his job and making sure the building is kept in good condition, which made US feel very comfortable with having our possessions stored at Extra Space Storage!

The unit is perfect for my needs. It is easily accessible and clean. Carts are available right by the elevators for ease in unloading.

Cancel the unit you currently have and move everything to ExtraSpace storage today!First of all, the building is obviously brand new so it’s sparkling clean. The grounds are immaculate. The elevators aren’t from a horror story, inside is well lit and there’s even music playing which I appreciate (quiet, big spaces can be creepy sometimes). I was looking to move to a larger unit and this location was $75 cheaper then moving up spaces in my former location. Tons of carts available too-no more running around looking for a rogue cart someone left!Most importantly, the service and hospitality that you will receive from the store manager, Kirk Anderson, is UNPARALLELED. What a warm, kind, funny soul Kirk is-I couldn’t give him my money fast enough. I honestly feel so satisfied knowing my important documents and items are in his care.
