Its you usual dairy spot in town but they only accept cash. The food was ok, I got a cheeseburger that felt like I was eating bread more than anything. Really skimped out on the inside... ice cream is great though.

Grew up in Newburgh, always used to love eating at Dairy Isle. Visited recently and the woman working the counter had a very nasty attitude over trying to pay for extra sprinkles. Handed me a melted vanilla cone very rudely. Terrible customer service, will not be returning.

This is the best place for a quick snack and to celebrate summer. When they open spring/summer have officially arrived. Good food, friendly service. Definitely worth the wait in line for soft ice cream and hot food

Been coming here since my childhood over 20 years. Best chicken and fried ever. The ice cream is so tasty with great price. Its a tradition in the summer to head over at least a few times a month. Great service. Order ahead if youre in a rush. Worth the wait. Quick bite.

This place has the greatest soft ice cream around. The food is excellent too and always fresh. The people who wait on you at the window always give you great individual attention and seem always happy to see you there especially if you are a regular.

It was very basic. Do know it the were get rid of shock because 2 days later they were boarding up the place. I may try next summer ( June 20 )

If you are in the City of Newburgh, and its a hot day, you will need to go here..I went here yesterday with a friend to get Ice cream, and the ice cream was good as always.Their burgers are also good. Flame Broiled, and served with crispy, cold lettuce....When I have a burger here, I know Summer has arrived...One thing to note, they dont take Credit or Debit cards. CASH ONLY...There is a good sized parking lot, that is always clean...

A long standing tradition in Newburgh, just before New Windsor. Very good soft serve ice cream. Hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken also available. Cones, shakes, sundaes also available.

Great food. The Dairy Island (Isle) is a Newburgh institution. Ive gone there every summer since I was a child. Delicious milkshakes, soft serve, burgers and fried foods (we like the drumettes). Cash only!
