John got me a reliable car, for cheap, with low miles. Not much more a person can ask for. A few months after buying my car I hit a nasty pot hole which disconnected my coolant hose but luckily I was in area before my car over heated. I brought the car back to John on short notice and he fixed it right there. I will recommend Wholesale Motorcars to anyone looking for a car.
During a cross country move, the engine on my truck blew up! Fortunately, it happened within a mile from Wholesale Motorcars. I was able to push my vehicle to their location and John/Mike were able to repair my vehicle at a price much lower than their competitors. They kept me posted during every steps of the way and turned a disaster into a pleasurable experience with them. I would recommend them without hesitation! Its good to know there are still honest, hard-working gentlemen out there!Thank you once again!!
John really went over and above to helpIs out looking for a car for my Niece .Had a low mileage Toyota in great shape and delivered it with everything we could have asked for.His attention to detail and customer service was excellent .I would highly recommend Wholesale Motors in Newington .Thank you John
I recently bought an awesome Crosstrek from John at Wholesale Motorcars. Throughout the entire process, he was very helpful and communicative. Before pickup he sent me updates on the finishing touches he was making. You can tell he puts quality work into the cars he sells - he got me on the road with fresh tires, brake pads, oil change, and a wash! Couldnt have asked for a better car buying experience.
Assisted in the purchase of a Subaru Crosstrek for an out-of-state relative from John at Wholesale Motorcars. The whole process was great, and the car was exactly as described. It even got new tires and front brakes prior to sale, included in the price. John was friendly and knowledgeable, and cares about his customers. I highly recommend him.
I needed a car. Someone had done a hit and run while I was parked in my friends driveway, pushing my friends Volvo 10 feet into my tiny Toyota and both cars were totalled. I searched for a car for so long and was feeling hopeless and dejected as all of the cars I was trying for were sold or unavailable... All seemed lost. Then my dad started searching as well and soon discovered Wholesale Motorcars. This was a light finally at the end of a long tunnel! The inventory is changing and if you ask questions about what is available and coming something maybe coming that is just right for you like it did for me. An 03 White Honda Civic. I was skeptical at first because it had low mileage and a couple of issues I felt when I did the very first test drive. I told John about the issues and he took them seriously. They were taken care of very quickly and I did second test drive and the issues were gone! It was a delight to drive I felt safe and confident that this is the right car for me. I did one last check of all my boxes for a car when I got back talking to John about it and confirmed that this is my car and I will be getting it.The paperwork and things were done around the schedules of everyone involved which took a couple of days but John worked with that. Once everything was finalized and he got the car registered and I came to pick it up the eagles soared overhead. He handed me the keys and reviewed all of the features that I didnt know it had, sparklers and delightfully legal fireworks went off and the car was mine.I drove it hither thither and yon afterwards getting gas, going to the comic shop, getting a burrito bowl. Such a delight!John was great. Mike was great. It was a wonderful experience, the car is splendiferous, and I have been telling people that I know to go here so, the next step is to tell strangers on the internet to go here.
Brought my car to John for an oil change, new battery and rear brakes. Turns out the rear brakes were good, and didnt need to be changed. Johns honesty, saved me money. The experience was quick, and easy. A huge thank you. Cant say enough great things.
Just bought a 01 Lexus ES 300 from John he’s was professional throughout the whole process. He fixed the air conditioning and bushings before he gave me the car. I would recommend anyone to see John at Wholesale Motor Cars. D.Skog
I highly recommend Wholesale Motorcars. John (the owner) is very professional and went above and beyond when helping us to find a vehicle for our son. We had such a positive experience that we returned to find a car for my mother. He has really competitive pricing as well. Super experience all the way around! Professional, courteous, knowledgable, and honest. Something you dont always find when looking for a used vehicle.
Had a really great experience with John. He was able to get my car in the shop and give her an oil change, I had a light on for tire maintenance and he was able to fix my tire. Service was fast and speedy and when I picked the car up he walked me through everything he serviced . He topped off my fluids and I was good to go . Better than any joe smoe working for beer money at pep boys. Going forward honest Jonny is the only person I ll be using for future repairs !!
Ive been looking for an Eldorado since I bought my last car 8 years ago. When I saw a Craigslist ad for one with low miles and a price that was way under kbb value, I called right away and explained my situation to John at Wholesale, which is this: I live 2 1/2 hours away, my car died, Im in a wheelchair, and I need a large 2 door car to get my chair in and out. Whats wrong with the car, and why is it priced so low?John took the time to go over exactly what needed attention (which was minimal for a 20 year old car), and told me that it was priced that way because hed feel like he was ripping someone off if he sold it for more because of what he paid for it, even though the kelly blue book value was more.I took a 2 1/2 hr drive to see it and put a deposit on it right away.John fixed a few things on the car before I went back with a loan check to pick it up, going WAY BEYOND EXPECTATION.Everything went smoothly, and I couldnt be happier with both Wholesale Motorcars and my new (to me) Caddy!Id recommend Wholesale Motorcars to ANYONE looking for a new or used car. John is an honest guy, and wont screw you over (which is really hard to find when searching for a car dealer).Thank you John!!! Youre the best!!!
Id like to add that Ive had my truck 9 months now, with no problems great deal from a great place!
Great place to by a car!!....Right out of the gate I was like Whoa!! This guy doesnt hold back... But they were upfront and honest right from the start, no games, no gimmicks no BS. Bought a nice newer truck, got a fair amount for my trade and a year of free oil changes.
John sold my 92 year old mother a total lemon of a car for$2200 in March of 2019. After numerous attempts to fix all the issues she traded it in on a car at a reputable dealer. They gave her $400 for the trade in. Counting the alternator she put in the car her lost was about 3000. Lesson learned. John did not do well on this one.
I am so happy with this dealership!! John has been amazing!!! He got me the best deal possible. The car I bought is in excellent condition with great miles. I recommend this place to friends and family!!
Recently purchased a Toyota Highlander from Wholesale Motorcars. John was very helpful during the whole process. He went the extra mile to help me get my car on the road in time to join my family on vacation which I really appreciate.
John is my go to guy, whether Im in the market for a new car or just need a simple oil change and everything in between. Great dealer, fair, relatable, no nonsense.
Johns a real genuine dude man I recommend this place to anyone buying a car... doesnt look like much when you go but looks can be very deceiving 5 stars
Usually I wait a few weeks after I make a big purchase, and this is a good example of as to why. If this was a star rating, I would rate it a 2.5. The following is the breakdown of my experience with John at Wholesale Motorcars. On the website, I found a vehicle that was perfect for what I was looking for. A 2005 Buick Terraza minivan with very low mileage. I called periodically throughout the day to check and see if it was there, to no avail. So after I got out of work, I went to take a look at it. John was a very nice guy, easy to chat with. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I took a look around at the van, seemed to be in good shape. Asked him what was wrong with it, if anything, and was told the DVD player did not work. The van needed a jumpstart to get going, but because of the frigid New England temps in the previous week, that was understandable. I asked him what the price of the vehicle was (even though I was very aware it was listed for $4,999.00 on the website). He told me it was listed at $5,999.00. After mentioning I doubted I would have looked it as it was out of my price range, he saw that the $4,999.00 was an internet special.I made him aware my budget was $5,000.00. After some mouse clicking, he asked if we could make it $5,100.00. Ok, I can pull that off.The next few days are not noteworthy, the car is paid for, and ready for pickup pending a safety inspection. I expressed sincere flexibility towards that, and returned to pick it up on the upcoming Saturday. (The transaction occurred on Tuesday) There are no key fobs for the vehicle, but John makes me aware that if I purchase them, he will program them. Says that the tires arent great, but if I want to replace them, he will give them to me at his cost. There is only one key he can find for the vehicle. John makes me aware that Even though you got the deal of the century, I replaced the brakes as they were just below 50%. Gives me the paperwork, a few coupons for oil changes, and I am on my way. This is when the issues begin arising. When I got in the vehicle, it needed me to give it a little gas to start it up. I assume, after the safety inspection that it is due to sitting for a while.I get back to my parents house to drop my father off, and my mom makes me aware that the same vehicle, from the same place, is on Craigslist for $4,600.00. That was disheartening to say the least, but in retrospect, with taxes and fees, it would have evened out. According to KBB, this is far from the deal of the century but is a fair price for sure. I spend the next few hours cleaning the interior.Over the course of the following week, the following issues arise:Front tire completely flat, passenger tire half flat (that happened the morning following the purchase of the vehicle). The guy that I brought the car to, to inspect the tires (longtime family friend) told me that under no circumstances should the vehicle have been sold to me with those tires on it, considering they were all full of dryrot. Not to mention, it would have been illegal to sell me the vehicle with less than 50% brake usage left. The front drivers sideview mirror does not adjustThe windshield wiper fluid line is cracked in the rear of the vehicle, leaking out of the rear center brake lightThe drivers side passenger door sticks, and will only open with force, sometimes not at allThe cause (to be determine this weekend) of the vehicle not firing up properly is either the starter or the fuel filterThe radio randomly shuts off and will not power volume on, and the dvd player randomly starts making excessive noiseI did text John to see if he was available for me to stop by to pick up the additional key, and to program the key fobs, to no avail.
I put deposit down on car, Dealer never called me and sold car out from under me to auction.John hasnt return my calls or responded back to my emails. To date I havent received my deposit back. I would never use them again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone else!!!!!! Buyer BEEEEE were.
Hello,I want to express my appreciation for Johns help with me being able to get into a 2005 lincoln towncar. There was no pressure and i got a great deal. He even took my old car as a trade to help me with my down payment, and shopped around to get me financing with a very good rate. I highly recomend this dealer to purchase your next new or used car.
