Id like to see Nancys Frozen Quiches in a flavor that does NOT contain meat! All you ever have is Quiche Lorraine (w/meat!). Not everyone eats meat! Pls bring back Quiche Florentine! I keep asking but it never happens. PLEASE?

We enjoy the 30 minutes or more drive to this Fred Meyer due to their great customer service.Jefff at self checkout and Cherrai in Mens Apparel. They are helpful and it feels like they truly are there for a positive customer experience. Most of the staff smiles, makes eye contact, and says hello and that is wonderful when we see so many masks.We appreciate the selection of non-dairy and gluten-free items at a comparable price to competitors without the added drive-time.The members of the Electronics Dept have been helpful with all the purchases as well. They offer their knowledge easily and kindly without being pushy or know-it-all.We often grab some store-made sushi and eat it before even leaving the parking lot. We know its limited and not like traditional Japanese sushi houses, but the sushi makers are friendly, smiling, and it feels like they put love in what they create.Lastly, thank you for the Fuel Attendants who also say hello, make eye contact, and give the total volume of fuel dispensed to confirm it sounds about right to the driver. Georgia Ann has been a great example of what thats like.Thank you to the staff showing up everyday to help and be with community members and visitors alike to facilitate a welcoming and positive shopping experience.

Ive been shopping here since 1989. What a great store! Tuesday has great dales! Every day you can find great deals! The Tuesday sales are always less expensive than Walmart and the atmosphere is way more comfortable and pleasant.

Employees are always pleasant and helpful. Good variety of items and particularly pleased with the book and magazine sections.The adult care section is very helpful for me as my husband has health issues. The variety of items enables us to find what is useful for him.

Your bathrooms are disgusting at least you could train people how to wash the toilet. You must be a special kind of stupid to only have two checkers on in the summer on a Friday morning. Some of us refused to use your self check out because you don’t pay us to work here! Lower your prices and we might do a self check out. Maybe you should take out the sub checkers and put in human checkers. I’m about ready to stop shopping here completely

Need to scan your checkout receipt carefully before you leave the store. I bought 3 clearly marked avocados as 3 for $5.00, at checkout, per my receipt, I was charged $6.87. It seems there is always something, or more.

Hadnt slept in a week and decided to charge my phone at an outlet outside the store. Some fat bearded guy told me I wasnt allowed to. Hope he is a happy fat man.

Fred Meyer Gas Bar employees are Absolutely efficient, courteous, with attention to job detail and sooo caring about the vehicles they service at the pumps. My work brought me to various states(before the fake C-19 Democratic supression) and only at the Fred Meyer Newberg, OR would employees lay a pad against my Mustang gas inlet so the nozzle would not damage the paint. I Love this respect shown to my sports car. Thank You Fred Meyer gas bar employees. BEST 😍❤💕💖

We typically LOVE this Fred Meyer. However, as I am standing in here this morning, they have their bathrooms marked closed for cleaning, with NO staff in there cleaning. We waited nearly thirty minutes, and they are still marked closed, no staff movement. Multiple staff members were waiting in line with us to use the restroom.Unfortunately disorganized and made a BIG impact on us this morning.

Enforce the mask mandate. I will not go back until you make it safe. Oregon is dying due to Covid and it appears your management doesnt care.

The parking lot is a nightmare. They have people stocking shelves in the busy part of the day so it is impossible to get around their huge carts. Plus now they also have people with big carts doing the shopping for pick up and they are clogging up the aisles also. There is no consideration for the actual customers in the store. I try to avoid going there at all anymore. Its certainly not worth the higher prices on everything.

The self checkout aid became upset and gave me attitude when I asked him to put a pair of gloves on before touching my ID. Then proceeded to ask me to remove my mask in a crowded store to verify it was in fact me. Multiple shoppers without face masks or coverings makes this a public danger to other shoppers.

Horrible. They fallowed me and my boyfriend around like we were criminals. When we had over 6grand in my purse. Such rude staff. They weren’t even shy about it either. I understand they they probably deal with that allot but seriously the entire time. They were not helpful at all either. When we asked them for help they rolled there eyes and one of them made the comment about how she was going to be off soon. As if that’s what I was asking. It was only in the clothing and shoe department. Also if you plan on trying shoes on. Whatever you do don’t stand up and walk at all becuz they think your stealing even if the box is clearly placed in your cart. They were so rude I put everything back and we went to Walmart.

Fred Meyer is Walmart 2.0. We went for food and found clothes, video games, magic cards, and Starbucks. Clean, large, and incredible variety.

Travel a lot, usually go to Freddys because they are all awesome, this one stands out from the rest and not in a good way at all. Website said they close at 11 so when they announced over the intercom they were closing in 5 minutes at 9:55 I was surprised. Tried to rush and grab the last few items on my list and was literally chased down and stopped by 4 employees who wouldn’t let me grab my last item 1 minute after closing. Then stood in the check out line long enough to grab my last item 4 maybe 5 times over. Pointed out the website error on my way out where three employees started raising their voices and telling me to read the door. Once I started to explain that I was only referring to their website hours they kicked me out. Mind you I was outside the doors already so it was one of those moments where someone tells you to do something you are already doing to feel powerful, cute. I wont even bother with the store manager since clearly based on other reviews here the staff at this location is subpar on their best days. Will be talking to corporate though since the entire situation was turned hostile by an inadequate and clearly poorly trained individual clearly destined to work retail for life.

I love fred myers but they dont require people to wear a mask... they say its because that person might have a medical reason. I have a medical reason and I wear a mask... not impressed with them and I will just go to Walmart where they actually enforce it.

Have been shopping here for past 9 mos. Weekly. More and more often, no bagger and the checker looks at me expecting me to bag my stuff. Not happy about that. if i wanted to bag myself, i would have gone to self check out.

Never has products stocked, constantly walk in and right back out.

Was frazzled and in a hurry. Had the best customer service possible. The first employee was a tall young girl with a mask that looked like a cat. Black mask with white nose and whiskers. She helped me with the cat food. The second was a gentleman named John at the self checkout by the furniture. He looked like Santa. So kind and helpful. You hire wonderful people who deserve a raise. Wish I had more stars to give.

Combines all the stress of grocery shopping with the misery of a target run. That said, I think they’ve got some decent stuff here, but it’s really hard to navigate.

At Newport Oregon gas they claim their pumps down all though all the pump are on and all the card readers are green.Fun how they claim their pumps are inop. New facility. They four car while they told us they were down.

I decided to stop in at this grocer to check for availability of toilet paper yesterday - March 26, 2020 - about 4 pm. No luck but plenty of paper towels. I found my favorite beverage Diet Cola on sale and pick up 5 bottles. Self Checkout was very orderly and not super crowded. Nice staff.Highly Recommended - FIVE STARS !!!

Saw them handle a Karen pretty well while I was getting sushi. Bathrooms are clean but small. Sushi was great though.

They have lately cut back on how many checkers they have on duty. Waits are about 20 minutes to checkout usely 4 to 5 carts waiting. I think they want us to us to use self check more. I think next time walmart.

Quality of the food items keeps improving, and more choices are being offered. The interior has been redesigned, and the store seems cleaner and easier to navigate.

Taylor, the employee at the self checkout, moved with purpose and was very courteous. It was refreshing. I I usually try to avoid Fred Meyers, because most of the people act like they have all day, and I hate wasting time waiting in line.

Shopped at F.M. today and Paul was our checkout cashier. HE IS AWESOME!He took the time to double check prices for me, make sure I received all my discounts and even provided a complementary F.M. bag! It was such a great shopping experience. Thank you for a job well done!

Massive Fred Meyers with just about anything you could need.

Wow this store must be feeling very comfortable no more wiping down of carts the mens bathroom was trashed filth all over it filth on the toilet seats paper towels falling off the wall just not a good experience at this store. Its easy to see which stores want to keep their customers safe. Youre truly Mike Anderson I will go across the street to Safeway from now on

First multi level fred meyers Ive been to

The store seemed clean and well stocked. Unfortunately, the employees dont seem to understand the fact that we are just coming out of a very serious situation with Covid19. As I was walking past the Customer Service desk, two female employees began kissing!They just pulled down their masks and went at it. One of them had a managers red vest on, which makes me wonder about appropriate training and leadership. I was shocked and disappointed.

This isnt about the store, the store is always great. This is about the gas station. I use diesel and was fueling my car myself when a young lady, first name starts with an A came over and was super rude and condescending. Will not be back no matter how many rewards I have!

I love this fredmyer there are a few cashiers that are so amazing. I go on times I know they work because they make my morning better. I love Fred Meyer and theres everything we need here. The staff is very helpful and friendly and store is kept very nice and organized. Id give 5 stars if meat wasnt so expensive. Im a carnivore so still searching for a cheaper meat solution. I could get a nice fatty steak for almost half the price back home. Maybe Oregon just charges more for beef for some reason. Either way, Ill be doing most my shopping here.

We have stopped here many times on trips to the coast and it’s really nice to know we can find everything we need in one place at a great price! The entertainment section worker was less than helpful when I asked a couple questions he was more interested in what his coworker was saying about putting his Ninja turtles in a case. Otherwise people were friendly and it has a great selection.

I love shopping at Freddys. I almost always have enough points to get $1 off each gallon of gas.

CAUTION. We were at Fred Meyer at 9:50 or so and it was near closing time, which we didn’t realize, and we were getting last minute stuff and the workers were extremely rude by telling us to leave minutes after closing when one of my family member had to go to the bathroom and they denied him and continued to deny him after being told he was disabled. They were continuously very rude. After being rushed to leave the store, we ended up leaving our groceries in the cart. The workers then hesitated to return our own groceries that had already been purchased to us. FYI Malleah, the minimum fine for denying a disabled person with amenity is 75,000.

This is really a Wonderful Store. It was by far the cleanest supermarket I have ever seen. I love that they have Starbucks, Food & dry goods, Clothing, Pharmacy, Jewelers Bank, Vista Optical, & oh did I mention Starbucks? 😊 This visit I was looking for a long or half sleeve black collared shirt for work. Shawna was very sweet & pleasant & very helpful. After realizing they didnt carry that type of shirt ( I cant find one anywhere. 😣) She found me several other options. Mahalo Shawna! 🌠

It may seem strange but the best sushi I have ever had comes from this store. The nice lady who makes it is always helpful explaining what is in each roll and its always fresh and she is very creative about her different rolls. Should try it. The rest of the store is pretty nice too

For shame! For shame! Even with a decently sized purchase, Fred Meyer established a policy to charge for cash back. If the company does not want to provide such service to its own customers, then don’t. I’m perplexed at how a passage of money for money during a transaction causes the company and its staff so much process that it entails a device fee! Again, for shame. This review from a newly lost customer.

I absolutely love this store. It is very clean and neat. Staff is helpful. All my shopping needs were met in one stop. I have no complaints and would recommend!!

I usually shop at Fred Meyer in my home town or where I use to live. This one is very nice. The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. The carts were plastic and clean, but hard to separate. The parking situation is chaotic which is why I took a star off. Overall, if they fixed the flow of traffic I would have their lot, this place would be a 10/10

They have replaced most of their cashiers with self-checkout stands. Its the next un-safeway. Go to this store if you enjoy having ten video cameras watch you struggle to check your own groceries while a machine nags you for every move you make in an area so brightly lit you almost have to wear sunglasses. A profoundly alienating experience.

I am a local and shopped at this store, exclusively, on a weekly basis for the past 10 years, until yesterday. If you are looking for horrible customer service and like being treated like a theaf then this the store for you. Employees at self checkout will hover in your personal space ringing up things in your cart, behind your back then yell at you for not ringing up something you thought they scanned. This kind of treatment has happened to me every time I have shopped there since last November. When you are on the sales floor and need assistance you will be treated as an inconvenience and with extreme rudeness.

I have never seen a mess here and when you do find a worker they do do there best and try to help you find what your looking for. But with all large stores there are a couple of rotten eggs in the carton( I mean that there are a couple of employed that work here who would not work with paying costumers, they are just rude. I have never had trouble with Fred Meyers literal eggs.) I do recommend them for there variety and most of the time there prices are good.

This Freddys is pretty much identical to Fred Meyers everywhere. Clean, friendly and helpful employees, and a large selection of groceries, household goods, auto, camping, diy, seasonal, and just about anything else you want, except clothing. This particular store doesnt have much in the way of clothes. Or, if they do, I havent seen them. I wont say for sure, as they may have an upstairs section that I just havent seen. So if youre interested in clothes, you may want to give them a call, first to make sure that they carry them.

Not a big fan of the new efficiency model for this store. They took out half the checkstands for self service and now track the checkers on how fast they get my purchases down the new belts. I used to be able to sort my groceries into freezer, produce, pantry etc. and carry my each bag to that location when I got home. NO more. Its all about speed, stuff thrown in where ever so the checker and bagger dont get in trouble. No more chatting with checkers. Not a friendly atmosphere. I watched them call one of my favorite checkers to tell him he wasnt getting the stuff down the belt fast enough. This is not a criticism of the employees. Kroger did this. Even the people stocking shelves seemed unhappy.

ABSOLUTELY NO ethnic hair care products AT ALL! Tried buying detangler for my daughter, the 3 employees (including a manager) at the help desk suggested I send an email. Other than that, very unhelpful. I will say the store itself is very nice, well organized, big, easy to maneuver and has a Starbucks. Its a shame they dont have diversity, too.

They removed their gun department and the employees have become less friendly than a few years ago. That said, Fred Meyer has the largest variety of groceries, home, automotive, and garden goods than any other store in the area with the possible exception of Walmart. They have one of the best fresh produce departments in town, but the mens clothing department is severely lacking.

I love Fred Meyer for great prices, friendly and helpful customer service and a great selection of both food/groceries and merchandise. This location has what youre looking for from food to clothing, office supplies and seasonal serif. Its a very large location with plenty of check out lanes, staff and parking. Wheelchair accessible everywhere, even with the store having a second level.

I have been shopping at this Fred Meyer for 5 years. As a retail store, I have found that they carry a variety of quality items from groceries to clothing. I can usually get everything I need from this store.............except for being treated like a valued customer when the store is busy.So, if you dont mind being treated like a disposable bank account, then this is the store for you.

Ive been travelling through Oregon recently and Fred Meyer seems to be Oregons choice for large supermarket/big box store chain, something Im happy about. This is like a classier Walmart thats more grocery-focused. The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable.

This place is huge!I must admit I have a bit of a Fred Meyer obsession, but this one was so big and looked up-to-date. Ended up wandering for about an hour. My wife and I @RoarksVentures passed though on a RV stay just down the road. We were able to get fresh organic produce and some things for our RV too! One stop shop.

Huge supermarket that also sells everything (and that includes clothes).Decent choice of organics. Bread choices not great. All the rest has more choices of everything than anyone should need. Fascinating for a couple of visits. My cashier was very friendly.

I love our Freddys and every employee in it. They were fabulous during the remodel and the customer service woman is the most patient person in the world and always friendly. The woman in the tool dept. is a BIG help and the back door checkers are fabulous. There is always someone to help me when I mess up on the self check out too. Love my Freddys.

This place is pretty gigantic and is well stocked. Some Employees couldnt tell us where some things were or even the general area of kitchen gadgets were.. Being out of town and in a rush made it difficult to get in and out as quickly as we wanted.

Great produce and meat. A little pricey

Spent 9$ a pound on previously frozen cod that had huge thick bones in it so I had to through 2 lbs of it away. I regularly drop $40 every other week in the Seafood Department and clerk doesnt ever even say thank you. If you ask a question about the freshness they get rude like you shouldnt even question any of it. Guess they havent seen the many reports on TV about seafood freshness . Watch the Deli because cheese often rings up as twice the price on the sign right in front of the cheese. Then when you try to point it out to the clerk they act like you dont know what youre talking about. Fontina with a sign says $10.99 on a regular basis, i.e. that has been the price for at least a year, on 5 different occasions has rung up by clerk at $23.00 + per pound. If I wasnt watching would have paid basically double. Had to point out sign right in front of cheese. Also hear clerks complaining constantly about their work. Not surprising but cant you do that on a phone call after work when youre not right in front of a customer. Felt pretty awkward.

I am unsure that the restrooms ever get cleaned. This seems like a management issue as the rest of the store is immaculate and the workers seem to be busting their tails.

Went in to get some food with my mom on 1-29 @ around 6pm. We waited at the sandwich station for the kid to help us for about 10ish minutes while he helped other people who had gotten their after we did. He then came over to us, and my mom asked if he could make her a sandwich, he rudely responded with Its going to be awhile Im the only one here. Then some other people walked up and he helped them instead.... Maybe some customer service training is needed.

Was looking for a longer silver chain. Found one for $15.00. Got up to the checkout and it was only $9.00. Such a deal. Makes my necklace look great!!

Never have to wait to check out. They open up extra lanes as soon as more than 3 people are in line. Gotta love the customer service.

From a friend:I have to give a shout-out to Nathen at Fred Meyer. I dont know him and I do not know his last name... but when I went in around 4pm to pick up the corsages for the girls there was no one in the floral department. They called for someone to come help and Nathen came over from produce. I said I was picking up 3 corsages that I had ordered. After a few moments he realized the lady had made a mistake and made one corsage with three roses. But only one. He said he would do his best to try and make the other two (since she had called in sick). He did amazing under pressure and was so nice about it. I just dont feel like you get that kind of service much anymore. Anyway, I plan to compliment him to Fred Meyer management - and he saved the day ... THANK YOU, Nathen!!!!

Pretty large store. Has everything you would need for this area. we bought some food and camping supplies just before we headed east of Roseburg to go camping for a few days. All the employees here are really nice too.

Considering options on the coast are somewhat limited, the Fred Meyers in Newport is pretty swell. This is a full on department and grocery store (in Portland they have smaller Fred Meyers that only sell groceries): they have a bulk section, organic food, garden center, electronics, clothes, automotive and a bunch of other stuff Im sure Im missing. I like that they sell the Boars Head meats and cheeses in their deli which I am a big fan of. I wish there was a New Seasons out here, but since theres not Fred Meyers will suffice.

We ordered a sandwich in the deli. After half a hour of waiting, the deli attendant had only jaggedly cut a hard hoggie roll and slopped a ton of mustard on it. Then she wandered away. How hard is it to hire employees capable of making a sandwich?

Just look for a silver lining. Short sweet. And inexpensive.

This is the worst Fred Meyer that I have been to from Alaska, Washington and Oregon.....so many employees running around looking busy but cant help you.....I asked if an electric cart could be brought up to the cashiers station and was told to sit and wait....after a half hour another customer parked the electric cart and I used that one......I asked if someone could bring up ten cases of water and they brought up eleven....the charge on the cart was about gone by then and the line at the cashiers was very long so I asked if we could take the water to another check out....the young man (the only nice person) hailed a woman and asked if she could check me out....she was screaming at me wanting to know how I was going to pay....card or cash....I told her at that point either I didnt care I just wanted to get out of there....then she had to make a big deal out of finding her keys.Another time I just wanted to buy cigarettes and a stock boy said I would have to go get in line at one of the registers.....I just had hip surgery and was using a cane and walking great distances was difficult but why should anyone help a handicapped person? finally a PIC said she would help me but she had to find her keys
