I love this store! I found everything I needed plus some. Two issues: no employees were wearing masks; cinnamon scented pine cones were overwhelming. Im high risk for COVID though fully vaccinated and allergic to strong fragrances. Shopping here actually puts my life in danger so I wont be back for a very long time.

Love this place! Find the coolest cookies that are organic and no sugar, freshest produce, great cheeses and lunch meat without chemicals.

We love this store. The location is great, and the staff is always very helpful. We really appreciate all of the different food and product offerings they have available. One of our favorite items is their fresh made peanut butter. It is delicious!

Fantastic store! My favorite grocery by far!

Great place if you need specific vegan items. We get a specific silk creamer and looks for sales on Tofurkey Deli slices (they have the best variety of stores around NKY), vegan butter, just egg, etc.They have brave robot ice cream which is really good. All Staff wears masks.

This was my first time and I really enjoyed it. I live in Alexandria and had been driving to whole foods in Ohio. The store was very clean and organized. All of the staff were helpful. I went in for just a fruit bowl but left with a cart full of stuff. I will definitely be returning after discovering this place.

This place is amazingly spotless clean nice great atmosphere great people wonderful customer service you feel like youre in a ritzy neighborhood. This is probably one of the best stores in Newport Kentucky hands down, Great Job Fresh Thyme !!!!!! I havent been there in about a year, I live 5mins., away, I drive all the way up in Montgomery ! The last time I shopped in the Newport the manager was very nasty so, I had to leave Real quick, I didnt want to cause a problem, but, he tried to take me there! I think he just have a problem with people of color, but I have no problem driving to Montgomery! The manager in Newport tried to provoke me into stooping to his level, but, I refuse to go there, GOOD TRY!

So helpful and genuine! I stopped in for two particular items, 1 they do not carry any more. When I inquired if they are still carrying it, the gentleman at the deli went to find out and gave me multiple tips on how to make sure they can bring it back. The cashier and bagger were also very kind and sincere, I always have a great experience when I go there. I will be back even if they do not get the red dragon cheese back in!

Fresh thyme is a very well organized super market with a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, bulk products like nuts and sweets, lots of non-prescription vitamins and related products plus the usual selections of meats and milk products. It is a clean store, not crowded. a good place to shop for good quality at reasonable prices.

Amazing food and produce but the prices are high, which is to be expected when competing with the nearby mega-kroger. Friendly staff and so many amazing little gems to discover and try. I love it.

Overall the experience was great. It wasnt too crowded and had a wide variety of items to choose from. However, the bulk food section is lacking many staple items. Most of the bulk products are candy or nuts. There was no bulk pasta, peanut butter, or beans/legumes at my last shopping experience.

Very nice specialty market. Fresh meats, fruits and veggies. Lots of gluten free choices. Vegan and vegetarians will find lots of items. Slightly higher prices than say Kroger but wide selection of foods with dietary restrictions.

In the Cincinnati area it is a good place to shop for groceries. I especially like their fish!

Dear Fresh Thyme, I love your store, it is my favorite place to shop! You have an excellent variety and large selection of just about everything, always in stock, friendly staff, and just about anything natural you could possibly think of, I used to shop there a lot until they got rid of the store in Louisville and then I had to drive 1 1/2 hours away to go to Cincinnati. I make trips frequently. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is your your amazing OJ and fresh juices. I tell EVERYONE about it and recommend it to EVERYONE! I just bought two large OJ and I noticed the price inflation. I wasnt that bothered because I believe in quality and I know the juice is worth the squeeze and the price. I unfortunately bought two large ones due to the fact Im about 1 1/2hours away I always stock up on them and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The juice was watered down tasting and not the taste I was craving and used to and also expecting. I spend $20 on water flavored OJ 👎🍊. I wouldnt write a review or complain if I wasnt an avid OJ buyer and shopper from your store.

They have some good staples, but the prepared food section is pretty weak when compared to the competition, I would much rather shop at whole foods or fresh market for the kind of products they offer in-house that are lacking here, they do have more regular Staples available than either of those places though so it works out to be a decent four out of five instead of the three I would lean to if I were strictly comparing it to the more fancy organic focus shopping grocery stores

Fresh thyme is a good place to shop, mainly because they carry a nice assortment of high quality items. Some organic, some not. The choices are appropriate. However, prices on quite a few things are slightly higher than the competition while prices on advertised specials are better. So I go buy those things and little else - making a trip to another store necessary to get everything I want until the next time.

Everything is well presented and fresh. Lots of organic fruits and vegetables.

I love this store. It was a recent add to my must stop places on my grocery run. Even on busy days the store is not hard to social distance in. The people that shop here are curious of others and just make the all around experience of shopping here a joy rather than an anxiety riddled task. I will keep shopping here to keep my trips to Kroger for specific items short.

They’ve got fresh squeezed juices and other super high quality fresh products. All as good or better than Whole Foods. But... here’s the thing: it’s reasonably priced. Honestly, I don’t think it’s noticeably more expensive than Kroger. Seriously.Anyway... long story short... shop here. Keep this place in business (I mean, I don’t think it’s at tsk of going out of business... but you know).

Best place in town to get your fresh produce. Their jumbo shrimp are huge and oh so tasty. And thier garlic and blue cheese olives are the best.

They not only cater to those willing to pay exorbitant prices for exotic and/or organic food, but they also have astonishingly good deals for those of us more budget conscious shoppers.I love it. Great fresh fruits and vegetables. Large selection of fresh meats. Nice selection of frozen game. That you dont normally see. Tasty cheese selection and fresh breads. Best thing ever is bulk candy, nuts, grains, honey, cider vinegar and coffee. Amazing assistants!!!

I came into the store to check for weekly produce specials and bulk bin sales items specifically and hopefully almonds! I found the bulk almonds selling for $4.99 a pound. The regular price is $8.99. I bought more than a pound and a half. I am trying to have healthy snacks in the car and at home. The checkout time was short. The cashier was friendly. The almonds are fresh, delicious and crunchy. I love this store.

First time to this Fresh Thyme. The gal at the register was nice & helpful, but the gal in the produce didnt do anything when tomatoes fell off of a table onto the floor. My son went over & picked them up & placed them back on the table. She never said thank you or anything. She just kept putting whatever out on the table on the opposite side. She probably caused the tomatoes to fall. Otherwise, the store was clean. The produce didnt look as fresh as other Fresh Thyme stores I have been into. The rest of the departments I was in looked like most Fresh Thyme stores. They do have some good sales & on Wednesday they honor the Wednesday ad that is expiring that day & the Thursday ad. It saves me a trip & seeing as it is not close it saves me gas & time. I would recommend stopping & checking it out.

Ive had a couple bad experiences here and IMO thats a lot considering I dont frequent this store. I was a loyal Sprouts shopped when I lived in Denver. I found this store to be similar in selection of items and layout of the store, but, unfortunately they lack in customer service and their prices are much higher. Ive had two occasions or rude and impatient employees. Once a man was rude and impatient for no apparent reason and he charged my twice. I had to come back to get a gift card. They didnt even give me a refund! The second occasion was today. I came in to get bone broth. I was sure they sold the bone broth in a bag that I normally found frozen, but I didnt see it on my first pass through the store. I asked two associates that were stocking shelves. I was in the aisle they have the unhealthy, not drinkable bone broth. I said no Im looking for the bags likely frozen. Instacart reflected that you have it. Her response, no that must be another store we dont have it. I wasnt confident in her answer. I asked the cashier at front and she called for someone. The same woman came up, looked at me and said no we dont carry, it in a very irritated and angry tone, turned around and stormed off. The cashier agreed she was pretty sure she has seen it and suggested I look by the frozen meat. I did, it wasnt there, but at least she tried. I made one more pass and found it with the frozen food next to some pot pies. I proceeded to tell Helen, you suck at your job. I probably shouldnt have said that to her, but she was clearly rude and not interested in helping a paying customer. Not like I was just looking for a bag of chips. I paid $27 for 3 bags of bone broth. Honestly, I think Im better off driving a few more miles and going to Whole Foods. They have always been kind and helpful as well Kroger and Target and Aldi. Everywhere else provides better service than Fresh Thyme.

We love shopping here. They have fresh food and produce. Really great prices when you get stuff on sale from there ad. They also have coffee beans, fresh peanut butter, bulk items like nuts, flour, candy etc. Fresh honey and maple syrup, fresh olive oils and more. Highly recommend trying them out. We always buy there homemade chicken sausages from the meat counter. They have a ton of flavors to choose from. They also make Pork sausages as well in a variety of flavors.

All the healthy goodness you cant find anywhere else. Good selection of beer too 😉

Shopping here is peaceful and makes me happy. Its smaller than a Kroger and way less busy than any other grocer, and has all the products I want. Especially love the bulk shopping (its easy to go zero waste here!), bakery, and health and wellness items. One reviewer complained there isnt much organic, I disagree. However she is right that this is not a farmers market, that part of their name is confusing. Not a lot of local product and Ive never seen a farmer there :)

Love this store. It’s my special treat when I crave something fresh and healthy. Except for the Jelly Belly jelly beans available at the bulk food dispensers- but that’s also a special treat.

I felt healthier the moment I walked in to this store! If you care about what you eat, then this is your place. The produce is so fresh that you can smell it through out the whole store. They have a terrific selection of nuts where you can make your own butter. They even make their own sausages with ingredient combinations that you may never find anywhere in the Tri State. There are some many highlights about this store that you just must see for yourself! As Always, Enjoy!

I love this place!

I was a long time patron of this store sister company Sprouts out West, so I was pretty happy to see a location similar to Sprouts here. The same layout and as usual the same great selection. More importantly the first person I dealt with in this location was polite and stopped to talk with us. I enjoy shopping somewhere where it feels like the employees are really vested in their company.

Lots of valued deals, safe. And helpful, friendly staff.

Always clean, great produce, a little pricey, but usually worth it.

The best place to buy fresh produce

I feel this grocery is very misleading. One that uses branding words to attract people who are interested in more organic and natural foods, yet when you go in it is very similar to another grocery store. At first appearance, it feels like a Whole Foods YET it is actually closer to a Kroger. The majority of the food is non-organic. And the Organic items they do have you can find at a Kroger. They also use plastic bags and their environmental standards are highly disappointing. The only major plus to this store is that the bulk and supplement/vitamin/etc section which one would normally find at proper Health Food Stores (minus some of the higher quality brands and more of the main chain brands which are known to be false in their advertisement and not healthy).The name of the store is Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. Well, it is NOTHING like a farmers market. Complete misrepresentation that is very manipulating. Pulling people in thinking it is one thing yet in truth it is not. A farmers market is filled with fresh veggies, fruit, and other homemade items that come from local farmers (the majority of which are either organic (whether certified or not)). This place again is nothing of the sort and is in between Whole Foods and Kroger placement.For example, they offer non-organic Goats milk. Why not organic? Their milk products are no different than Krogers options.Better selection of pastas and gluten free products. The Newport, KY location is the closest place for myself for some of the products. Yet, whenever I witness misleading advertisement I do not fully trust or like a company, because it implies they are either manipulating the public or hiding something or that $$ is their main goal.

My favorite grocery store! I shop with zero plastic and Fresh Thyme offers so many bulk options and I really appreciate it. Love this store so much. All of the employees are so friendly and the store is well organized and clean.

My favorite place to purchase my meat and other essentials.

I thought the prices for this place were going to be outrageous, but now I go often because they arent too bad. This is a clean place. The fruit is stacked perfect and the vending type bulk area is clean of bags and twist ties.

Let me start with the disclaimer that Im not a health food person. I shop here only for the excellent meat and produce selection. Their sale prices on these are phenomenal. The employees at the meat counter are knowledgeable and friendly, much more enjoyable to deal with than those at most grocery chains. Their fresh juices and bulk food sections are great for those interested. Ive never ventured beyond those sections, the dry grocery section seems to be pricey.

Very good sale prices! Got a lot of produce for 99cents a lb plus 5 lbs of potatoes and 3 lbs of onions 99cents each. 85% ground beef 3.99 lb is great price would definitely recommend

Came in for the 1.49 per pound chicken. They were almost out so Tim the butcher ran back and hand cut us some fresh breasts right then and there! Outstanding customer service!
