I called to try to get information about upgrading our current service. The agent was unwilling to slow down and explain things so that I could understand them. She was unwilling to send me an email about the details so I could look it over.
I have a phone that I got at the Verizon store in Newton. It is not working properly but I had taken out the insurance policy on it. I took it in approximately a month ago to get it fixed or get another one but they said that model was on back order. A month later now they cannot tell me when my phone will arrive or even if it will. They said they could not help me but I could buy another phone from them. I am going with a another provider!
Dennis was so helpful. He didnt try to push a sale on me. He shared his knowledge & let me decide. I said something and it made him laugh & I told him that was such a nice sound to hear. I cant even tell you the last time I heard someone laugh. He is one of the top sales people Ive ever had wait on me.
Brianna H. was wonderful!! She took care of all our needs and even while experiencing some technical difficulties, she was in a great mood and helped us through every little detail with purchasing 2 new phones, adding a line, flashing info from old phones to new ones all while entertaining us with great conversation and answering all our questions. Highly recommend asking for her when you stop in the Newton, Ks Verizon store.
First, let me correct one point. I spent a good bit of time with Bruce, not Dennis. He was professional, courteous, kind, and innovative. He did alot of his assisting me all alone. I personally would have lost my mind if I had to work in that environment with people coming at me from all sides.
Brianna was wonderful. She helped me pick the phone that was right for me, and she wasn’t pushy about upgrades or accessories. She was patient and thorough. She made sure my new phone was up and running and had downloaded from my backup before she was done. And even went through my account to see where we could save money. Overall an A++ experience!
Went in store to get a new phone and was promised it would come in soon. Heard nothing back from the store so called. They said they would check into it for me but then again never got back with me.
We went in and worked with Brianna for a bit of time. She was awesome! She answered all of our questions and took care of all our needs. She was very thorough and precise. Definitely a 10 out of 10!

Brianna did a great job helping me this morning. Took the time to help me figure out our billing questions, got my new phone set up for me and out the door. Very friendly and professional throughout the entire experience. Also made sure to maintain the social distancing requirements.
I have been in there before and I think her name was Brianna she was very nice and helpful. The last time I went in the guy working was not helpful at all and said the problem is my phone is old the phone is a year old

Ordered a new phone for my wife online. Went to pick it up from this store. The pick up part went OK, however the phone ended up being registered to my other phone number on the account (mine not my wifes) Went back to the store to figure it out and the guy working basically told my wife to get lost he wasnt helping her since we bought it online and not in his store.. Glad we got a computer at home because once she turned on the new phone neither of them worked until we got the issue resolved. Ill be driving into Wichita from now on. Convenience only goes so far
Farrah, Bruce, and Brianna were all helpful with getting a replacement phone through Asurion, which took longer than Asurion promised, due to UPS issues. I was in the store at least once a day for 5 business days, and the staff were eager to help me get the phone and tried many ways to get information. Great customer support in a local store!

They try hard, but to not much avail. I had to go to an actual Verizon store to sort through a 2019 “Buy One Get One” Sale. It’s now May 2020. Wasn’t told any of the requirements at purchase (unlimited plan, no line switching, etc.) but reassured that the credit would be coming in two to three months. Anyways, they unknowingly voided the BOGO sale within two minutes of purchasing the phone because I have always had a limited plan and was there to have my wife’s number moved to the new phone. Maybe they didn’t know...either way ended up buying two phones. Glad to have some closure. Just save yourself 5 months of frustration and go to an actual Verizon store in Wichita.
I am extremely disappointed in this business. They totally take advantage of the elderly. Unfortunately I was not able to be with my mom when she needed to get a new phone and she and her elderly friend went there in March and she was talked into this “great “ deal and got a home phone along with her cell phone. She was told one price and then the actual bill was more than double that. She has tried to call about issues with her home phone and was treated rudely and was in tears when she called me. She is on a limited budget so it’s been sad as she is locked in for two years. Shame on them for not making sure their customers, especially the elderly understand what they are purchasing.

Due to covid19 I had to wait outside for a long time even though there was space inside to keep 6 feet away from other customers. I dont think employees should be written up for having more than one person in the store at a time.

I was on the phone for 20 minutes waiting to talk someone about a warranty claim. Finally got ahold of someone they admittedly told they were super busy and didnt have to talk to me. I wanted to come unglued with her but I didnt. I wanted to get some clarification on what to again. I understand it was close to closing time but seriously what does she have to go do after work. She feels she needs to get off the phone. Shes that eager to get off the phone and start drinking shots at a frat house.
Terrible customer service. The guy working was condescending and absolutely rude. It was the worst I had ever experienced. Went in with my 70 year old grandfather who is trying to set up his new iPhone and has no clue how to use it or set it up and we just needed help. Never ever going back. Will be going to Wichita and I suggest anyone thinking about going to this store, dont.

Went to buy a new phone. I was told if I buy the s7. I would be able to pick from the VR head set or a smart watch. Come to find out that the store was not allowed to offer the watch. You would think management would know what kind of promotions and deals they have at their own store and company. Instead of making up stuff to make a sell.
Excellent experience with knowledgeable staff and great mobile solutions. Breanna has provided a hugely positive influence to the store and her experience from working in cellular sales for six year really shows. Our company utilizes the company often for upgrades and advice.

Id suggest bypassing this store and head to Wichita. Too many crooked sales tactics here, and could easily take advantage of elderly folks.

Excellent service
We have used this location several times over the last few years and had good experiences. However, this last time I was very disappointed by the poor customer service provided by Colton Wright. He whistled loudly while we were talking to him, was very defensive when we asked about extra charges, and was quite rude to us. The store is clean and they have a nice selection of the popular phones but they need some serious customer service training for at least one of their employees.

That was a frustrating experience! The customer service agent was condescending and secretive. I constantly asked questions about what I was agreeing to and the response was always snarky and rude. I felt like she wasn’t willing to show me the breakout of what I was going to be paying for and it was an inconvenient for her to even try to. This is my money going into it and I should know exactly what I’m paying for. I ended up canceling everything we started and leaving angry. Will never return or recommend to others. PERIOD!
Dont even waste time with this store go straight to the Rock Road Verizon store. It will save you a ton of time and frustration!

Guess what. My phone charger port was not working, the insurance/warranty covered, totally will continue to work with Verizon. Just going to drive to Wichita Verizon store next time for my phone questions and phone sales.
Horrible service and horrible provider. Not impressed with Verizon. We were treated coldly and then lied to about the status of our contract. When we asked if anything would change as far as our unlimited data we were told No. Needless to say, this was NOT the case.
