Buying a car is great but everything else is terrible. It seems that Ryan in sales is the only one who wants to work and help customers. I have called numerous times to get the GAP money and other extended warranties back after selling my car and get the runaround. The check I got was much lower than it should have been according to Volkswagen credit. There’s a lady manager that never returns my calls or gets me answers. They’re very helpful selling a car but the worst on everything else. They tried to rip me off when I traded my Ram last year and tried to pocket over $4,000 instead of being honest. They said the body shop would cost exactly what the insurance gave me to repair my truck from an accident. I called the body shop directly and found that was a lie. I paid the body shop directly so Tom Wood couldn’t screw me. I confronted them which they didn’t care. They were upset I paid them directly. Just be honest and you’ll make more money. Do you homework or better yet, stay away!

Purchased my third vehicle from here. Staff, environment and facility is always great! The process is very simple from start to finish. I will also still be bringing my vehicles for service here, as service is always fast and reliable as well. Additionally, when purchasing my new vehicle, I added some accessories and the parts department was so great on keeping me up to date on arrival times, ordering the accessories and everything. To preface, we are a couple of VW lovers. We have owned 2 (07 Jetta Woflsburg, 17 Alltrack) that we bought used and genuinely loved, and we had bought a third one (13 Golf) for a family member who loved theirs. However, we were ready to consider an SUV. In this tough market, we set out to look at Tom Wood VW because we have had good experiences in the past (2 of 3 aforementioned VW vehicles were bought at Tom Wood VW). Mark Jones did not disappoint. Knowledgeable, charismatic, friendly while not pushy or overbearing - he helped us find the right vehicle. I should also mention Adrian, who was also so helpful and informative, willing to jump in. We appreciated Adrian as well. In short, thank you for a great experience.
This is the worst place to get your vw car serviced. I am very unhappy with how the service department is ran. When ypu make an appointment dont expect to get in at the time! Lazy technicians and unfriendly desk people. Will not be taking my car back to this dealership .

Adrian helped me to secure the sale of a car for our son. The process was all by phone and text as we live three hours away from the dealership. He sent a personalized video of the car and took additional pictures for me. He took care of the details, and the car was in beautiful condition despite being a pre-owned car. When we arrived, the paperwork was to a minimum because of the preparation done ahead of time. We were on a tight schedule the day we picked up the car, and we were able to leave in time to meet other obligations later in the day. I would highly recommend this dealership.
Tom Wood VW went above and beyond to correct a hose that came loose after they worked on my cooling system. They stopped by my job picked up my keys and went to my house to assess the vehicle condition and ultimately repaired it. I’m very grateful they took such great care of me because I honestly didn’t know how I would get the car back to them. I will definitely continue to take my VW here knowing they will always make it right.
When I arrived for my appointment they acted like I didn’t belong and they didn’t have time for me but they would reluctantly make time. After that they were very friendly, helpful and gave me updates. They were pleasant and did a good fast job.

What an amazing staff!!! I received stellar Customer Service from beginning to end in every department. Everyone did their best to make sure I was satisfied. I came in the door with an approval from my credit union and also interested in a vehicle with a dealer that was near. VW made sure they not only offered a better interest rate, but also continued to out service their competitors. I was super happy and this was by far the best service I’ve ever received at a dealership!!

We had a wonderful experience with our most recent purchase of our 2021 Tiguan. Mr. Trey Hill went above and beyond making sure all of our questions were answered thoroughly and effectively. He personally delivered and picked up our previous vehicle, and made sure that we knew all of the ins and outs of our new vehicle with ease. He ensured our family that if we had any other questions, he would be more than happy to answer them. He also encouraged us to reach out, too! I had them do a DSG transmission service on my car. They did it for a reasonable price, which is posted on their website, and I was happy that they offered to take me home to wait while the service was being performed, and then picked me back up later in the day, so it worked out great for me. I also liked how they set up texting to inform me and to communicate the progress on the car.
2014 VW Passat TDI had check engine light with a NOx sensor and charge air cooler reading on my dash. Took it in and they replaced the NOx sensor and everything looked okay. When I got the car back, my check engine light turned on again and when I read the code, it was the air cooler reading from before. I have it scheduled again. Great service but limited availability for rentals and didn’t fix this entirely the first time. Hoping for 5-star service this time.
I will never use Tom Wood again for service.My college age daughter went in for an oil change and also had her wipes replaced for a nice bargain price of $199.00 That is totally over priced and ridiculous. I had an inspection tires rotated and an oil change for $39.00 the day aftermath another local business. I plan to call the better business bureau to report this. I take full responsibility for being dumb enough to buy a car there and use their service Dept. Live and learn.
Great service from the team. Kept me updated as they progressed and ran into issues (I have an old classic so parts not as readily available). They searched all over town to get the parts and did a great job. Would definitely recommend them to others and will use them again.

Extremely dissapointing experience. Ill keep it short. If you need a car new or used, keep looking. Horrible communication, and classic salesman treatment. Once they have your money youre no longer a concern of theirs.I am adding to my response, since I was replied to. What actually happened was the very next day the roof was not working correctly, and when I brought this to the attention of my sales associate they simply told me that I had to hold the roof close button down until fully closed. This is incorrect. In fact when you do that youre resetting the roof, so...no it did not work properly to begin with. Its okay though. I have found some wonderful people that are helping me out as best as they can. This is one of those life lessons you learn the hard way.
Porter was extremely polite and gave excellent customer service! Rod the service manager was rude! Very dissatisfied with service. Was told they were on a time crunch and felt as though customer service was not important to rod. Also wanted additional service but due to a time issue they could not do it. I put request on my service order. I also told them I did not need car back that day if time was an issue. A customer never wants to feel like service was rushed due to being “crunched for time”. Also, I don’t know why you would turn away additional money.?? Like I stated earlier, the only good part was the service I received from your porter who picked up my car. Also my service dash lights came back on. My service package cost $753.00. I guess I expected a little better service.
I truly wish there was a 0 star. If you own a Volkswagen I HIGHLY recommend to go somewhere else because they will not only fix your vehicle incorrectly but overcharge you as well. Their time maintenance is almost as bad as their customer service. I had my 2014 Volkswagen Jetta there for almost 2 months and it cost over $1500 and not even two months after the repair my car shuts down on me and they of course don’t want anything to do with it!

Needed to bring my daughter’s Tiguan in for a diagnosis. They were very thorough and pinpointed the problem and the technician spent 30 minutes explaining and showing me the issue. He did not charge me for the diagnostic service and offered to help work though our warrant company to get the repair covered. Very impressed with Tom Wood Volkswagen and will be bringing my two Volkswagens to them in the future.

They just completed repairs on my 2011 Jetta. It took longer than I would have liked (2 weeks, mostly spent waiting on parts), but I cant argue with the price: free. Found out my 10-year-old car is still under warrantee until 2023 because of all the things they had to do in response to the Dieselgate scandal a few years back.Service dept is hard to get hold of on the phone, but answered texts and voicemails pretty quickly. That seems pretty standard for most companies these days, so Im not going to gripe.I am withholding one star because I did have to keep texting them as the days wore on with no updates on my car. The original diagnosis proved to be only a part of the problem and they ended up having to order additional parts that pushed the estimated date back twice. I dont need a call every single day, but it would have been nice if they would have told when the plans had changed. Still, they fixed it and it was all under warrantee with a loaner car available if I needed it, so a very positive experience overall.
I had came from Terre Haute and from the time I walked in the building someone was right there to help me. The process was very easy and was out the door by noon.

Im not one that likes to complain, there have been a few problems with my brand new car, but they are quick to resolve it and very willing to fix it without any trouble.

We had a great experience with the service department. My wife’s car went in for the 40k service and a recall on the catalytic converter. They recall was expected to take 3 days which was longer than we had planned when booking the appointment online. Tom Wood was out of loaner vehicles at the time, but they set up a comparable rental vehicle through a local rental car company while our vehicle was in the shop. Overall they handled everything professionally.
Great customer service! All the dealers were very personable and honest about what kind of car your getting into. The buying process is very clear cut and they do a good job of explaining what your signing. All around great service and great car quality. I bought a 2013 Jetta JDI and I’ve been in love with it ever since I took it home. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.
Horrible experience. I highly recommend anyone not to purchase from the dealership. I purchased a vehicle on Mar 6, 2021 they never submitted the paperwork until around April 14th and kept submitting unreadable. Finally got paperwork through and today is May 7, 2021 and I have still yet to receive my paperwork to register my vehicle. So for 2 months I have been driving illegal. I have called them on 3 different occasion and left message with Chad in finance and unto this date have yet to return my call. Kate the saleswoman since she received the sale have just pushed me to the side. Please and I beg anyone reading this post to not purchase a vehicle from this establishment and I understand this is just my experience but it is also my reality that Im living with. Usually, we aren’t a fan of the dealer experience, but after a swing and a miss with the alleged Valhalla of on-line sellers, we turned to Tom Wood Volkswagen for a Christmas gift for our son. We took our van to this dealership in hopes for a wonderful experience. It was anything but and the problems are still not over unfortunately. Our van sat at the shop for 3 weeks for three didnt issues. No courtesy vehicle was offered to us, no commicatication and so hard to get ahold of. When we was able to get out van back we was told that the one issue was fixed the one button was sent wrong and another was on back order. Which is not their fault so I 100% understand that. So now we are suppose to be back on the list for a car, I called yesterday and still have not heard back. Im.just at a loss and cant wait to be done with this service.I have since now called and left Matt two follow up voice-mail this we eek with no response:( I am scheduled to have service done next weekend with hopes of a service vehicle during this time. Fingers crossed for a shorter and better experience this go around.
Staff was friendly, however wait time for an oil change was far too long. Had an appointment at 10 and was not finished until 1145 since I had “2 people ahead of me”
Dont expect to be told if there is something wrong or starting to go wrong with your car! I went there and was told everything was fine, when really I needed to get an alignment done! Almost a week after that visit they send an email to tell me, which I missed because they send so many junk emails! This cost me new tires because of their lack of professionalism and lack of communication with their customers! If you see a problem it needs to be said at the time of service so arrangements can be made! Also dont both using the chat option on their website! Ive tried twice and put in my information, was told they would contact me. Never heard from them. They should remove that option since they dont use it!
Got me in and out on my oil change in 45 minutes. Had a free checkup after 1 year of purchase from the car. Easy and hassle free just brought it in and they handled the rest.

My experience with Tom wood VW is as follows. I like the location. But it does not appear that they want to service the vehicle I drive because it’s a enterprise fleet vehicle with a full maintenance card. They complain to me the driver of the vehicle about not getting paid by enterprise fleet. I have nothing to do with your agreement with the fleet company. Your service advisor should focus on his job . At the end of the Day they did fix the vehicle and I moved on. Thank you.

If I could rate it a 0 I would!!!!! I would NOT purchase a car from Tom Wood Volkswagen Noblesville if my life depended on it!!!!!I bought a $22,000 Suburban on Saturday. Drove it home and on Sunday, the very next day, the engine light came on. I text Katelynn Hughes, the girl who sold me the car, she said she would talk to her manager. She text back and said to take it to auto zone and have them hook it up to see what the codes are. Came back with 3 different codes related to the transmission. I relayed the message and was told she would talk to the manager. Never heard back so I called on Monday morning. Mike Thompson, the manager, said he would talk to his friend that works at a Chevy dealership and see what he suggests, said he would call back by the end of the day. Never heard anything so I called back shortly before they closed. He said his friend said to take it to a Chevy dealership and have them hook it up to see whats wrong because their codes are more specific. I asked if it would cost me anything and he said no. I called 2 different Chevy dealerships and they both told me it would cost $125. I called Mike Thompson back on Tuesday morning (today) since they were closed and told him what they had said. He said he would talk to his Chevy friend and call me back. Once again I didnt hear from him so I called him back at 4:30pm. He said Im sorry, its taking so long because we are trying to find a Chevy dealership by you (I live 2 hours away) that will run the diagnostic for free and none have agreed. So I dont know what to tell you. I said you wont even soend a measly $125 to have the car checked out and make sure nothing serious is wrong with it after I just spent 22k on it? I have 3 kids, who you saw, who ride in this car daily... He said no Im not going to do that. there is no knowing when an engine will have issues in a car. I told him I would go and leave a review and let everyone know how he has treated us and how much he truly cares about his customers and he said we wont allow threats and that was the end of our discussion!TRANSMISSION ISSUES IN A $22,000 CAR I JUST BOUGHT 3 DAYS AGO AND HE WONT EVEN SOEND $125 TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC RUN ON IT!!!!!!!! I am so over all these car dealerships just out to get money and not caring about the safety of the people driving them!!!
Inquired about a 2021 Cornflower Blue GTI and Tom Wood was able to get one in stock within a week. Worked with Adrian Salas, who went above and beyond to answer questions. He took great care to get her ready for the trip home while we finalized the details with finance. Very professional sales team, finance team, and the GM was actively answering questions on the floor. If someone did not have an answer directly, the team found it out quickly. We were fortunate to be able to complete paperwork that afternoon, even with a trade-in and recent graduate rebate. Would highly recommend vehicle purchases with the Tom Wood family, especially with the Noblesville VW branch!

After having a horrible experience with another car dealership only 15 miles from home I had almost given up on finding a car. My sister came across my 2017 VW Jetta on your lot. I was a little Skeptical about the low miles but I called and was given Kate. From the beginning she made me feel welcome and like family. My wife and I had purchased a new car from Trey Hill when he was employed at another dealership in another state, we were delighted when we heard he had moved back home to Indiana. To begin I purchased my TDI Passat from Tom Wood with the help of Alex Bell a few months back, And had a pleasant experience. Fast forward to the present I had an issue with my vehicle and with extremely short notice Lori in the service department went out of her way to get my vehicle inspected and fixed right then and there.I would like to commend these employees and the dealer for the experience.
