I took my 2010 Mazda Miata GT here because I had a bad Bose amp. Chavez Electronics installed a new Sony head unit and even reutilized some of my original speakers which kept the cost down. I know this was a complicated install, but they still managed to do this in the same day! They did a fabulous job on the install and things have been working perfectly so far.

Great experience from the moment I walked in the door until the time I pulled off enjoying my new audio system. I came in I told him exactly what I was looking for, he made suggestions based on what I wanted and not on price. I’ll definitely be back to get a rear camera added to my car and possibly a subwoofer and amp for enhanced bass.

05/13 - 05/14/21 Let’s start with Thursday when he arrived he instantly showed why he has such great reviews I took in a friends car that needed a new alarm and I threw a radio in for good measure the price was great especially for the work performed she was happy with it …quoted at three hours for the work finished in two hrs … went back Friday cause she told me the manual locks in her car stopped working long before putting this new system on and was there right when he opened quoted me a good price to add electric to each door lock and I added speakers cause the ones she had weren’t good anymore that was a five hour job and finished before time on that one also great worker and knows his stuff .. upon arriving back to pick up the car she had no wires running to the back speakers so he threw that in plus some tweeters for free plus all her doors lock now so she was a happy camper I will continue to do business with Mr. Chavez … in a few weeks I’ll be going back to redo some things on my truck … if your looking for great service, great prices and excellent work to be done right the first time this is the place to be … Thanks again

I did took my car for a radio installation, when I got back to my house the tail lights were on, I did brought it back and he said that that wasnt his fault, I took it to a mechanic and he stated that someone must to broke the harness of the lights. I wouldnt recommend this place.

I want to say thanks to Chavez & Mr. Victor “installer” for everything they did for me today! This is my second time dealing with them. Man Chavez was real reasonable, easy to work with, communicates effectively and got the job done SAME DAY!!! I wanted to upgrade one of my Jaguars and they got it done fast when I called and explained what I wanted to do. Mr. Victor was a very very cool guy lol, he showed me all the features of my new stuff he installed, showed me all what he was doing during install and was overall helpful. Got a subwoofer, tweeters and rear speakers installed. Moderate pricing, friendly staff. There was wiring issue with subwoofer due to some grounding possibly. Even though issue wasnt caused by his install, he was happy to fix it without any additional charge. Highly recommend.

Avoid at all cost. Absolutely unprofessional owner. I will start off by saying I always support local business, and I am a repeat customer at Chavez Audio, Ive had over 4 stereo systems installed in various vehicles throughout the years, Ive recommended them to many of my friends, I always avoid places like Best Buy because I feel that small shops deserve business more. This was the worst experience I had with this shop over 4 years, repeat loyal customer. Something has changed with the owner, his attitude was very foul. He wouldnt price match anything, his selection is limited, he has stickers for Kenwood but doesnt carry any Kenwood. Not only did they damage my car, but I basically sat around for 3 hours because he was installing a much more expensive system on another customers vehicle. I understand that youre running a business but dont treat repeating customers like trash. I also understand why he has a sign now that says No refunds, all sales final, exchanges only its because he does sloppy work such as the work done to my car and I am sure hes had issues in the past. When I brought up pricing the owner audibly laughed at me and stated hey man why are you trying to save a couple of dollars. Its called being a conscioentious consumer, and not getting ripped off. Everything in this store is overpriced. I will never recommend this store to anyone and tell them to go to Best Buy instead from now on. I will also be reposting this experience on many other sites, reaching out to the BBB as well as my credit card. For almost $400 of work I expect a level of professionalism.

Absolutely phenomenal service, they were able to work with me and my budget. I got a killer JVC audio head unit installed and some subwoofer wiring ran. They even helped me jumpstart my car when my air suspension compressors drained the battery later in the afternoon when I parked at the advance auto across the street. These guys are great! Customer service is A1 don’t look anywhere else.

These guys are great. They installed a new radio with apple car play and the experience was smooth and simple. The owner helped me pick out the best radio for my car and budget without any pressure. When I called the owner of this store, he quoted me a head unit, 4 speakers, and subwoofer for around $800 including labor if I bought the parts from him. When I arrived, I requested the deal we spoke about on the phone, he said he will only give me a head unit, 2 speakers, and a subwoofer and handed me the ticket to pay him $1,300. I shouldve left, but I wanted to get the work done so I stuck it through. I said this is nothing like we spoke about on the phone when you quoted me two extra speakers and now youre charging me $500 more than what we spoke about on the phone. His employee screwed up the installation that I had to take it back to Chavez Electronics two times for them to try and fix it. The music sounded so bad when I turned it on like the speakers were about to blow or had already been blown. His employee would wiggle the wires connected to the back of the speakers and adjust the amp settings. Nothing worked and the speakers sounded so bad and distorted that I stopped using them and took them to another shop. They found out that one speaker Chavez Electronics installed was touching the door, shorting the connection, the other speaker settings on the amp were so high, it blew the speaker out, and the left, right, and subwoofer wires were plugged into the wrong ports on the amp. The owner is not running an honest business. Hes trying to make as much money as he can possibly get away with. You would be wise to go somewhere else.

Came by the shop today and got a few things done that I needed. Staff of extremely helpful and don’t sell you on bs. The tech Carlos took no time to finish in my truck and was also very informative. This is where I get all my sound system needs.

I came in for an aux input installation on my stereo but the gentlemen at the store provided me better options at a better rate. It took no longer than an hour and the process was smooth. Highly recommend anyone people to check them out!
