G&S Automotive installed a new motor in my truck in less than a week, and charged so much less (over $2000) than 2 other local shops that gave me quotes for new or rehab motors. Im so thrilled to get such great service and not feel like I was taken advantage of because Im a woman that knows little about automotive repair. They treated me with respect, and provided excellent customer service. My old (2009) truck is running like brand new!After totalling my other car in a terrible accident in 2020, my trucks engine went out 2 weeks later, leaving me with no transportation, $3k insurance money, $10k medical bills, and a whopping $30k loss of vehicles. Thank God I found G&S! They brought my truck back to life and have made this girl so happy!

I had a water pump go out on my 2010 Tundra, and noticed some black fluid on the bottom of my engine in addition to the red coolant on the driveway. The truck (my sole transportation) was overheating and couldnt be driven. I called my usual shop, but they couldnt get me in for a week, so I found G&S Automotive on the Internet. They had good reviews, so I thought it was worth a shot.I couldnt be happier with the result! G&S got me the very next day and I was driving my truck that evening. They confirmed that the water pump had failed, and the black fluid was a result of coolant dripping down the deteriorating serpentine belt, coloring it. This made perfect sense and they replaced the pump and belt for what I thought was a very fair price.Jon was a super nice guy, explained everything in detail, and was a real pleasure to talk to. I have had bad experiences at dealerships and at other shops in the past, but Im 100% confident that the work done by G&S was accurate, fair, and reliable. It was fast as well. They even gave me a two-year warranty and free roadside service if needed at no additional charge.I would highly recommend G&S to anyone and will be calling them in the future!

My daughter lives in Moore and was having problems with her car. She took it to a shop in South OKC. They told her the transmission needed extensive repairs and gave her a price over $2000. I took her car to Jon at G&S and found it only needed servicing at a price of $200. Problem solved! If you need any type of vehicle service I highly recommend G&S. They are honest, experienced, and highly qualified. The work was done quickly at more than fair price.

I don’t know anything about cars, but I do know I won’t take mine anywhere else! Gina and Jon are so helpful and just the nicest people. I took my car in with what I thought was catalytic converter trouble, but Jon diagnosed it as an oil leak that eroded my head gasket and some other things. He had it fixed up and back to me in just two days! Then, not even a week later, my alternator went out. Once again, Jon came through for me, and even got the new alternator from Autozone for me! Fantastic service, I highly recommend.

The guy that runs this place could have been an engineer. Were lucky to have him working directly for us. Do I wish they were cheaper? Of course. Where do I take my car after Ive wasted ten days letting my mechanic friends try to figure it out? G&S.

Door latch cable replacement- Called as soon as they opened, brought truck in and they had it fixed within an hour. Told me before they started working on it what the cost would be. Honest and respectful, will go here from now on.

I was told by a national chain I needed a $1400 evaporator when John at G&S said otherwise. It only needed a freon treatment - $70.He saved me over $1300. Thank you, John, for being a honest mechanic. If you have a mechanical problem, have G&S check it out. You will be given an honest evaluation of your problem. You will not be ripped off.

Phenomenally awesome. G&S is that place that goes above and beyond. On my recent breakdown (clutch, ouch!), they delivered under budget and ahead of time. G&S was my go-to place when I was a college student 20+ years ago. I moved away. When I moved back, they were there for me again. Theyre the guys that you never let go of because theyre so good & good to you. Theyre the mechanics you hope to get when you move to a new town & have to go through the miserable experience of trying to find someone good you can trust. I kept rolling over their number to a new phone anytime I got one (before the days you could do it automatically). Go here! Im not married, dating, friends with, or being paid by anyone there.

Best, most dependable repair place in town. They are very fair and extremely honest. As a woman, I never feel like theyre taking advantage of me. In fact, they charged me less than they quoted because Greg saw my OU parking tag and applied the discount. I trust them totally.

My wife has had a death in the family very close to her and we needed to get her across the map on short notice for the funeral. I called G&S and explained my situation, that I had bought the parts for the brakes but ran out of time with the surprising and urgent news. G&S doesnt usually do customer parts but given our need and the urgency, the guy got me in and are working on our Ford Edge now. I have worked with mechanics for years, the guy that answered here really seemed to care and wanted to help. Thats something that really resonated with me and I cant say thank you enough to this shop for being so willing to make this work on short notice. Will refer people here from now on, you just dont find businesses like this everywhere anymore.

For the best service at reasonable prices G & S is the place to go. Greg makes you feel like a valued customer the moment walk in.I have always had a great experience with them. I would recommend them highly to anyone.Here I am 2 years later and probably should trade this truck in but once again John has kept me on the road and I didnt have to buy a new one.Sounds crazy to people but when you take your auto in you know the repairs will be made and the price is reasonable. The roadside assistance you get after a repair is a great offer from G & S and it is FREE.

If you EVER need automotive help...this is the place! My daughter is a student at OU...6 hours from home. She started having problems with her older model college car and called home crying. I saw a recommendation for G&S and sent her there sight unseen. John has worked with her...been honest and treated her like he would family. He had her come in weekly to check her oil and showed her how to check and add oil to an aging car so she could safely get home. I am beyond grateful and although I hope we have no more car issues...I CANNOT say enough about this place...Thank you for everything!!!!

G & S was recommended by my transmission guy at Action American Transmissions in Norman. Jon at G & S was great and very knowledgeable. He explained the work and parts that would be required and quoted me a fair price on a tune-up. He turned the job around in just a few hours and my Jeep runs great. He also gave me some great best practices advise to maintain the vehicle. He also offered me a military discount which was nice and even saved me some money on good, but less expensive plugs. It was a great experience and I would recommend G & S to anyone living in the OKC/Moore/Norman area.

Excellent service. Repaired a broken inside door handle on a 2013 Altima in a very prompt and professional manner, and at a very fair price.

Had repair work done mid July, picked up the car and within 10 minutes, they had to come and reconnect a fuel line they had forgotten to connect. I spent close to $600 in repairs and have had nothing but problems since. I had the fuel pump and filter replaced by them and never stopped smelling gas. Today, I am once again having to repair the vehicle, the fuel tank is pouring gas all over the ground.Will NEVER return to this place for repairs
